This study aims to determine the awareness and perceptions of Korean researchers regarding mandatory open access (OA) and OA publishing of publicly-funded research papers. In July 2019, Korean researchers who had published in Science Citation Index Expanded journals as first authors and corresponding authors participated in an online survey distributed via e-mail. A total of 1,172 valid responses were collected and analyzed using SPSS 18. The results indicated that the level of awareness of OA differed significantly based on occupation and research experience (p<0.001). Although 52.56% of the respondents had experienced OA publishing, only 22.35% had self-archiving experience. Regardless of the amount of publishing cost support, researchers showed a high level of willingness to publish OA articles. Yet, since the importance of impact factor was evaluated to be very high, at present OA publication might have a limited role as a publication platform.

This study aims to develop the education for college students who should perform the social role of the fut ure by conducting trekking activities including the characteristics, history, and culture of Cheonan area and then investigating the sociality and history of 36 college students. Taejosan, Seonggeosan, and Heukseongsan, which are part of the independent ring of Cheonan city, were selected as courses. The training was conducted by six instructors majoring in humanities, history, physical education and medicine. Teachers of humanities and history majors conducted theoretical lectures to raise the historical awareness of Cheonan area related to trekking course. In trekking practice, instructors of physical education and medicine majored in trekking safety education and course progress. Among the social development factors, responsibility, autonomy, and sociality were high. After the education, students recognized that the interest and necessity of history were high in order to understand the present society, thought that they made a lot of development compared to the previous one, and answered that the main development factors of history were the people and that there was a change in perception through this education. This study was composed of the survey after the education, so the psychological characteristics of the individual were not reflected, and it is difficult to generalize it because the number of subjects is small. In the future, more subjects need to be investigated and local residents need to investigate changes in local awareness.

Purpose: Natural products are becoming gradually popular because of their health - related benefits and consumers' environmental awareness. However, research in this field remains limited, the present study attempts to address this research gap by measuring the influencing levels of the antecedents on natural product brand love. Research design, data and methodology: The study employs S-O-R (Stimulus - Organism - Response) framework together with Innovation Resistance Theory and Dual-Factor Theory to propose the research model, in which health and environmental stimuli influence both of facilitators and inhibitors of internal states or organism, and then shape purchase intention and brand love as consumers' responses. The mixed research method is designed with the application of structural equation model (SEM) to analyze 530 consumers collected by convenience sampling. Results: The results revealed that two chosen stimuli, including health awareness and environmental concern were positively related to both facilitators (natural content and regional products) and inhibitors (image barrier and usage barrier) and these four factors were significantly associated to purchase intention and brand love. Furthermore, purchase intention played the mediating role on the relationship between the four organisms and brand love. Conclusions: The originality of this paper is extend S-O-R theory into natural product context with mediating effects in an emerging economy. The findings make theoretical contribution on consumer behavior and managerial implication.

Background: While the organizational factors that account for firefighters' burnout have been extensively explored, the individual factors related to how they regulate interpersonal conflicts and emotions remain to be investigated. Previous research has demonstrated the association between emotional intelligence and conflict management styles and burnout, but no study has looked at the interrelationships among these factors in high-risk sectors. The present exploratory study aimed to fill this research gap by investigating the relationships between conflict management style, emotional intelligence and burnout in a sample of firefighters. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with 240 French firefighters. Measures comprised validated scales of conflict management styles, emotional intelligence and burnout. Results: Results showed that the integrating conflict style reduced burnout. They also revealed the effects of emotion regulation on burnout, whereby the awareness and management of one's own emotions reduced burnout. Moreover, awareness of one's own emotions moderated the relationship between integrating conflict resolution style and burnout, whereby the effect of integrating style on reduced burnout was higher when awareness of one's own emotions was high. Conclusion: These results reveal that strategies used by firefighters to regulate their emotions in order to meet the emotional demands specific to their job are important for reducing the emotional exhaustion component of burnout. Training programs for conflict and emotion management are needed to preserve the mental health of firefighters and ensure the safety of interventions.

Through the close examination of characteristics of adolescent, social institutions and its programs, and newly added and expanded library reference services. it is founded that new role and qualifications of young adult reference librarians are prerequisite subject. The following are the summary of new role and qualifications of specialized young adult reference librarianship. 1. Adequate training and education for the YA librarians is needed in order to have understanding of their characteristics (physiology, psychology, personality etc.). 2. Because of librarian's unique exposure to human relations and their personal awareness of other people's need, YA librarian should bring a person-centered managerial technique. 3. Librarianship may not have a clinical counseling function but to provide right answer or information, the librarian become counselor inescapably. 4. Librarians are not professionally trained to be experts on counseling in sex education. However, librarians can play an important role in educating YA by committing book selection, reader's advisory, referral services, library programming and staff development planning.

At this time, it is very urgent and important that the new high value-added industries with convergence and embedded software technologies are promoted to make the driving force for new growth. Moreover, software is used as an essential part or material of nearly all products. However, the economic and social treatment over the software workforce, which is the core of software development, is very weak. In addition, the discussion or study on the treatment improvement and value awareness of software practitioners is almost non-existent. Therefore, this study suggests some measures for software workforce's improved treatment to meet their increasing role. We examine the present state of software workforce, discuss their status and role, and suggest some measures for the improvement of their working conditions and social treatment.

The notion of contradiction from Cultural-Historical Activity Theory (CHAT) perspectives is known as an "engine" for the development of human practices because participants attempt to adjust their practices to resolve contractions. This study examines two middle school teachers' classroom practices from CHAT, focusing on the role of contradictions that emerged between their existing teaching practices and constructivist activities in the development of a student-centered technology-integrated learning environment. Findings indicated that teachers' awareness and resolution of contradictions played a large role in the development of a technology-supported student-centered learning environment, a culturally more advanced activity system: students displayed greater responsibilities for their learning and were guided to make effective decisions for their learning activity.

천연기념물은 역사와 자연적 가치가 있는 자연유산으로 희귀성, 특수성, 역사성 등 학술 가치가 커 자연문화재로 지정 및 보호됐으나 최근에는 삶의 질 향상에 따른 국민의 문화생활에 대한 욕구를 충족시키는 것도 천연기념물 관리의 주요한 임무가 되었다. 이를 위해 내장산국립공원에 소재하고 있는 천연기념물 제91호 내장산 굴거리나무군락과 제153호 장성 백양사 비자나무 숲을 대상으로 천연기념물의 지속 가능한 보전 및 이용 측면에서 방문객의 천연기념물에 대한 기본적 인식을 살펴보고 천연기념물 인식수준에 따른 자연에 대한 태도 차이를 분석하였다. 내장산국립공원 방문객 240명에 대한 설문조사 분석 결과, 응답자의 절반 이상이 대상지의 천연기념물을 정확히 인식하지 못하는 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 굴거리나무군락의 인지도가 상대적으로 비자나무 숲보다 더 낮았다. 또한, 천연기념물에 대한 인식수준이 높고, 문화재적 가치 수준이 높다고 인식한 집단의 자연에 대한 태도가 그렇지 않은 집단보다 긍정적임을 확인할 수 있었다. 이를 바탕으로 향후 이 지역의 천연기념물 활용방안 수립을 위한 정책시사점을 제안하였다.

본 연구는 브랜드자산의 형성에 영향을 미치는 주요 마케팅 요인들과 브랜드자산을 형성하는 구성요소들간의 관계를 검토함으로써, 브랜드자산이 고객의 심리적 과정 속에서 어떻게 형성되어지는가를 규명하였다. 이와 같은 연구를 위해서 스포츠화 단일 브랜드(나이키)구매자를 대상으로 사전연구(김봉관 등 2003)가 이루어졌는데, 분석결과 브랜드 자산 형성이 고객의 심리적 발전단계에 구조적 관계가 있음이 밝혀졌다. 이에 본 연구는 사전연구의 후속적 연구로서 소비자 관여수준에 따라 브랜드자산의 형성과정에 보이는 영향관계가 다르게 나타날 것으로 판단하여, 고 저 관여의 두 집단으로 구분하여 브랜드자산의 형성과정을 규명하였다. 연구결과, 광고는 고 저 관여 집단에서 브랜드 인지도, 브랜드 이미지에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 고관여 집단보다는 저관여 집단에서 강한 영향관계를 보였다. 판매촉진은 고 관여 집단에서는 브랜드 인지도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 브랜드 이미지에는 부정적인 관계를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 유통집약도는 관여집단에서 브랜드 인지도와 브랜드 이미지에 정(=)의 관계를 보였다. 브랜드 인지도, 브랜드 이미지, 브랜드 선호도, 브랜드 충성도의 관계는 저관여 집단에서는 인지도와 선호도에서 유의한 관계를 보이지 않았지만, 고 저관여 집단에서 브랜드 인지도와 브랜드 이미지, 브랜드 인지도와 브랜드 선호도, 브랜드 이미지와 브랜드 선호도, 브랜드 선호도와 브랜드 충성도간에 유의한 정(+)의 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이들 브랜드 구성요소들간에 관계의 정도는 저관여 집단보다는 고관여 집단에서 더 강한 영향관계를 보였다.

This study aims at conducting an awareness survey of three parties, namely, citizens, government officials, and developers for improvement of urban landscape and, based on the survey result, to suggest a direction to develop a landscape plan for improvement of urban landscape of Yong-in city in the future. The summary of this study is as follows. First, in case of Yong-in, the main drivers of forest landscape destruction were "residential complexes developed for apartment buildings" and "golf courses", the driver of river landscape damage was "the status of cleanliness of riverside and poor facilities", the driver of roadside landscape damage was "construction sites" that completely eliminate original natural landscape in both citizen and government official groups. When granting development-related approvals in the future, appropriate actions should be prepared such as developing a landscape management guideline or including a landscape plan in advance to assure plans and designs fully reflecting landscape. Second, citizens' commitment to participate in urban landscape creation and improvement was rated high at even willing to tolerate regulations including restriction of property rights. In the future, landscape improvement programs allowing resident participation should be developed proactively. The roles of government officials include preparing various criteria at a city level and convincing and guiding citizens to initiate landscape improvement project together with citizens and developers through proactive efforts by government officials. Third, the role of developers would be to realize development projects conserving local environment and/or harmonizing with local natural environment before preparing a development plan or launching construction rather than offering various considerations after executing development projects.
