This paper describes development of Polarized Stereo Monitoring System (KAERI-PSM) and compares the remote handling performance of KAERI-PSM with that of other monitoring systems, electric shutter type stereo monitoring system and general TV monitoring system. Remote handling performance is evaluated by total time and error number on remote operating experiments. Four kinds of remote handling experiments are carried out through 1) directly 2) general TV 3) electric shutter type monitor, and 4) KAERI-PSM. In these experiments six employees are participated and PUMA robot with force-torque reflectional joystic is used. The result of experiments show that camera angle against object is significant factor in monitoring and stereo monitoring system give more performance benifits in terms of accuracy and speed of remote handling operation than general TV monitoring system. In comparision of the polarized and electric shutter type stereo monitoring system, both have similar accuracy and speed for remote handling operation, but the former is superior in image quality and stability of the performance.
Weeds are one of the major constraints to crop production in organic farming systems. This paper reviews major results and techniques achieved with physical, cultural, and biological weed control and their perspectives in organic agriculture. Physical methods includes mechanical, thermal, lighting, electrocution, pneumatic, autonomous robot weeding control techniques. Cultural weed control methods includes mulching, tillage, crop rotation, cover crops and crop competition. Physical and cultural weed control techniques are especially important in organic farming crops where other weed control options are limited or not available without use of herbicides. Biological weed control includes mycoherbicides, innundative biological control, broad-spectrum biological control and allelopathy. Successful weed management in organic farming requires well managed integrated systems of mechanical control using newly developed machines, cultural control and biological control methods. Weed management decision-aid models may also needed to develop to provide greater assurance of achieving profitability and appropriate long-term weed management in organic farming in the future.

The purpose of this investigation was to study the kinematics of joints between the foot segments based on computer graphic model during the stance? phase of walking. In the model, all joints were assumed to act as monocentric. single degree of freedom hinge joints. The motion of foot was captured by a video collection system using four cameras. The model fitted in an individual subject was simulated with this motion data. The range of motion of the first tarsometatarsal joint was $-8^{\circ}\;\~\;-13^{\circ}$, and the first metatarsophanlangeal joint was $-13^{\circ}\;\~\;-48^{\circ}$. The kinematic data of tarsometatarsal joint and metatarsophanlangeal joint were similar to the previous data. Therefore, our method based on the graphical computer model is considered useful.
In order to realize the operation of the creative modular toy, it is required to record the motion and to read and repeat the motion. At this time, a control potentiometer is used to read the absolute angle of rotation of the toy motion output shaft. However, the unstable part of the sensing area of the potentiometer is present in a certain region, which may lead to instability of the motor control. In this paper, we propose an algorithm to find the absolute angle of one rotation by reading two stable potentiometers on one axis and reading each stable region. We also describe the correction algorithm that is needed to perform multiple rotations. The proposed method is applied to Topobo modular toys to record the operation and perform iterative operation. In addition, multi-turn operation is recorded and operated to suggest the usefulness of the proposed method. In the future, we will expand the functions of recording and playback through various actions.

Recently, with the development of artificial intelligence and IoT technology, automation, and unmanned work are progressing in various fields, and the importance of image processing, which is the basis of AI object recognition, is increasing. In particular, in systems that require detailed data processing, noise removal is used as a preprocessing step, but the existing algorithm does not consider the noise level of the image, so it has the disadvantage of blurring in the filtering process. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a modified Gaussian filter that determines the weight by determining the noise level of the image. The proposed algorithm obtains the noise estimate for the AWGN of the image using quadtree segmentation, determines the Gaussian weight and the pixel weight, and obtains the final output by convolution with the local mask. To evaluate the proposed algorithm, it was simulated compared to the existing method, and superior performance was confirmed compared to the existing method.
This study was designed to analyze trends in the entire convergence research beyond academic research through social media big data analysis at a time when interdisciplinary convergence research is emphasized along with the fourth industrial revolution. For this purpose, about 150,000 cases of texts and titles were acquired for about 10 years from January 2009 to September 2018 in connection with the convergence research in social media, and word cloud and network analysis were conducted. As a results, the research fields that were actively conducted for each period were eco-tech in 2009 and 2010, smart technology in 2011 and 2012, information and communication in 2013 and 2014, robots in 2015 and 2016, and artificial intelligence in 2017 and 2018. Also, the research areas that have been consistently conducted for about 10 years are culture, design, chemistry, nanotechnology, biotechnology, robot, IT, and information and communication. In this paper, With the development of modern science and technology are Sheds to stay indoors rather than outdoors space it increased significantly compared to the past. And a wide variety of research about outdoor air quality until recently, efforts are underway but the issue of air quality in the room is the fact that all considered relatively lightly. As the contamination of the room air is polluted, unlike the natural environment, a large outdoor air dilution rate, the dilution rate is very low, once the contaminated air continuously circulating exerts a very bad influence on the health of people staying in the room. In this study, movement characteristics of the person living in a room, the air measuring device for the study of the active indoor environmental control system reflects the life form to measure the quality of the measured air in real time for transmitting the information to the user of the smart devices, alarm bot It was implemented and operational applications.
Our society is developing exponentially, but schools are not keeping up with the pace of society's development, and they are not providing digital literacy education suitable for the growth and development of students. Thus, this study identified the actual conditions and problems of digital literacy education at school sites and sought the direction of development of digital literacy education. By identifying the current state of schools in which the 2015 curriculum is operated, we sought the direction of the development of digital literacy education for our school. First, old digital devices should be replaced, laptops or smart devices should be provided for each student, and internet access should be available throughout the school. Second, digital literacy education should be provided to teachers by providing various training opportunities.Third, coding education where you can express what you think as logical thinking, Software training should increase the level of the algorithmic domain that shows the computational thinking process of discovering problems and automating a given problem into a computer programming language, there is enough robot that can be seen operating the program, digital parish will need to be delivered.

Recently, the number of consumers using digital online distribution platforms is increasing. This caused the rapid growth of the e-commerce market and increased delivery volume in urban areas. The logistics system, designed ar006Fund the city center to handle the delivery volume, operates a delivery system from the outskirts of the city to the urban area using cargo trucks. This maintains an ecosystem of high-cost and inefficient structures that increase social costs such as road traffic congestion and environmental problems. To solve this problem, research is being conducted worldwide to establish a high-efficiency urban joint logistics system using urban railway facilities and underground space infrastructure existing in existing cities. The joint logistics system begins with linking unmanned delivery automation services that link terminal delivery such as cargo classification and stacking, infrastructure construction that performs cargo transfer function by separating from passengers such as using cargo platform. To this end, it is necessary to apply the device to the vertical and horizontal transportation machine supporting the vertical transfer in the flat space of the joint logistics terminal, which is the base technology for transporting cargo using the transfer robot to the destination designated as a freight-only urban railway vehicle. Therefore, this paper aims to derive holistic viewpoints needs for design requirements for vertical and vertical transportation machines and freight transportation standard containers, which are underground railway logistics transport devices to be constructed by urban logistics ecosystem changes.

A butterfly valve is a valve that adjusts flow rate by rotating a disc for about 90° with respect to the axis that is perpendicular to the flow path from the center of its body. This valve can be manufactured for low-temperature, high-temperature and high-pressure conditions because there are few restrictions on the used materials. However, the development of valves that can be used in a 600℃ environment is subject to many constraints. In this study, the butterfly valve's stability was evaluated by a fluid-structured interaction analysis, thermal-structure interaction analysis, and seismic analysis for the development of valves that can be used in high-temperature environments. When the reverse-pressure was applied to the valve in the structural analysis, the stress was low in the body and seat compared to the normal pressure. Compared with the allowable strength of the material for the parts of the valve system, the minimum safety factor was approximately 1.4, so the valve was stable. As a result of applying the design pressures of 0.5 MPa and 600℃ under the load conditions in the thermal-structural analysis, the safety factor in the valve body was about 3.4 when the normal pressure was applied and about 2.7 when the reverse pressure was applied. The stability of the fluid-structure interaction analysis was determined to be stable compared to the 600℃ yield strength of the material, and about 2.2 for the 40° open-angle disc for the valve body. In seismic analysis, the maximum value of the valve's stress value was about 9% to 11% when the seismic load was applied compared to the general structural analysis. Based on the results of this study, the structural stability and design feasibility of high-temperature valves that can be used in cogeneration plants and other power plants are presented.
