압력면익단소익이 터빈 동익 압력면스퀼러팁 하류의 팁누설유동 및 압력손실에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Pressure-Side Winglet at an Elevation of Tip Surface on the Tip-Leakage Flow and Aerodynamic Loss Downstream of a Turbine Blade Equipped with Pressure-Side Squealer Tip)

  • 본 연구에서는 압력면익단소익의 폭이 터빈 동익 압력면스퀼러팁 하류의 팁누설유동 및 압력손실에 미치는 영향에 대하여 연구하였다. 팁간극비 h/s = 1.36%에 대하여, 흡입면스퀼러의 높이는 $h_p/s=3.75%$로 일정하게 유지하고, 압력면익단소익의 폭은 w/p = 2.64%, 5.28%, 7.92%, 10.55% 등으로 변화시키면서 실험을 수행하였다. 일반적으로 압력면익단소익의 폭이 증가할수록, 통로와류 영역에서의 압력손실은 감소하였지만 팁누설유동 영역에서는 압력손실이 오히려 증가하였다. 그 결과 익단소익의 폭이 증가할수록, 질량평균 압력손실은 매우 소폭 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 본 연구 결과, 압력면스퀼러팁에 설치된 압력면익단소익은 압력손실 저감에 거의 기여를 하지 못함을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 본 연구에서는 에너지법으로 축대칭 박판성형 공정을 해석할 때, Lee와 Yang 이 제안한 방법을 적용함에 있어 굽힘효과를 효과적으로 고려할 수 있는 방법을 제안 하고 축대칭 컵드로잉 공정을 해석하여 본 이론의 타당성을 입증하고자 한다. 굽힘 효과는 박판소재를 몇개의 층(layer)으로 나눈 뒤, 각 층에서 소비되는 변형에너지를 합하여 전체 에너지를 최소화시킴으로써 고려하였다. 해석시 펀치 목부분과 다이목 부분에서의 접촉압력은 각각 균일한 분포를 갖는 것으로 가정하였다. 본 이론의 타 당성을 입증하기 위하여 계산결과를 실험치 및 탄소성 유한요소해석 결과와 비교하였 다.

An Anthropometric and Three-Dimensional Computed Tomographic Evaluation of Two-Point Fixation of Zygomatic Complex Fractures

  • Background Maintaining stability and restoring the aesthetic appearance are the fundamental goals when managing zygomatic fractures. We aimed to evaluate the stability and anthropometric outcomes of zygomatic fracture patients who underwent two-point fixation involving the infraorbital rim and zygomaticomaxillary buttress via the transconjunctival and gingivobuccal approaches without any skin incisions. Methods We examined 15 zygomatic fracture patients who underwent two-point fixation during a 3-year period. Stability was evaluated using three-dimensional facial bone computed tomography. Superoinferior and anteroposterior displacement of the zygoma was quantified. The aesthetic appearance of the periorbital region was evaluated using indirect anthropometry with standardized clinical photographs. The ratios between the eye fissure height and width, and lower iris coverage ratio were used to evaluate aesthetical changes. The bony displacement and aesthetic ratios were analyzed using Wilcoxon or Friedman tests. The correlation between the preoperative zygoma position and anthropometric values was analyzed. Results The positions of the zygoma were similar to those on the contralateral side at the long-term follow-up. The preoperative anthropometric measurements on the fractured side differed from those on the contralateral side, although these values were close to the normal values at the long-term follow-up. Furthermore, we noted that the anteroposterior displacement strongly positively correlated with the lower iris coverage rate (Spearman's coefficient=0.678, P=0.005). Conclusions Two-point fixation of zygomatic fractures achieved stable outcomes on long-term follow-up, and also appeared to be reliable in restoring the aesthetic appearance of the periorbital region.

  • In order to deal with the increase of container cargo traffic volume more effectively, the ministry of maritime affairs & fisheries has a long-term plan to develop Gaduk Island. According to the plan, the New Port will handle 4,600,00TEUs annually. The completion of the project will enable the port of Busan to perform as a hub port in the Asia Pacific era of the year 2000 with sufficient port facilities, and this will lead to a new era of oceanic Korea. With the advent of the Pacific Rim Era of the year 2000, Busan metropolis has set a strategic development plan to establish the area as the center of logistics in the noreast Asian region as well as to become the stronghold of economic activity in Korea's southeast region. To this end, industries that will open the doors to a marine era and a new industrial complex focused on logistics are planned in the West Busan area where Gimhae International Airport and the Busan New Port meet. This paper aims to find out the functional relation and complement between the Busan New Port Distri-Park handing container cargo traffic volume and the West Busan Logistics Pa가 handling an air cargo and railroad goods. Especially, paper aims to suggest the West Busan Logistics Park as the efficient management of the container cargo traffic volume due to the Development Plan of the Busan New Port.

중북부지역 답리작 보리담근먹이 조제이용 연구 (Whole Crop Silage Making of Barley Produced in Paddy Find of Central and Northern Region)

  • 본 연구는 중북부지역 답리작에서 총체보리 조제방법별 조제시간 그리고 사료가치에 미치는 연구를 위해 1999부터 2001년까지 수행하였다. 총체보리 조제방법별 건물수량은 트랜치 사일로와 원형곤포 사일리지에 각각 ha당 12,562 kg과 12,555kg으로 비슷하였으나 가축기호성은 원형곤포 사일리지로 저장하는 것보다 트랜치로 저장하는 것이 좋았으며, ha 당 트랜치 사일리지와 원형곤포 사일리지의 작업시간은 각각 4.9와 5.7시간이었다. 또한 일일 작업면적은 트랜치와 원형곤포 사일리지 각각 4ha와 3ha이었으며, 원형곤포 사일리지 조제시 효율적인 작업일은 7일정도 된다.

  • Being latecomers to the industrialization, Pacific rim countries except the U.S.A. are doing very little in developing the universal certification system. One should note that Asian Pacific region enjoys the highest economic growth rate, and there is a good possibility that it will be the center of economic activities of the world in the next century. It appears that ISO and CEN share similar specifications in numerous areas. ASNT is being changed to cope with the trend with the introduction of ACCP. Although we may have to adopt the new system someday, we should pay attention and make concerted effort to include our own practice in the global standards. We are the countries in the Far East Region with similar culture and tradition, which are quite different from those of western countries. We hope that Japan should play an important role in this matter, who has been chaired the ISO TC135 since 1993. In the beginning of this decade, there has been a trivial but troublesome matter that who is representing the NDT Society or member countries in Asia-Pacific Conference on NDT. The problem appears to be solved since the establishment of FENDT For the next decade, actually next centry, FENDT will have to accomplish another important role for countries in the Far East Region to form a strong coalition for its survival in the western dominant world. Immediate issue is to establish Far East Working Group for Harmonization and Mutual Recognition of Qualification and Certification of NDT Personnel. To realize this Japan must play a leading role with the cooperation of expanded FENDT member countries including China and Russia. As the continued prosperity expected in this region, FENDT should continue its role for the next centry. We, the FENDT countries, must move forward for internationalization(國際化). However' we must realize that it all start from SELF IDENTI-FICATION. We can identify ourselves by actively participating in FENDT. I would like remind you the concluding remark that I have made in the congratulatory speech at JSNDI 40th Anniversary Conference and FENDT'92. JSNDI is too precious to be Japan's sole possession Staling from the Far East, JSNDI shall become one of the loaders of the world. I sincerely hope that JSNDI take initiatives and leaderships in the future activities. of FENDT countries. I would like to close my talk with "We must hang together, or We shall be hang seperately." 중국의 항만 물류집중화에 관한 연구 - 상하이항과 장강을 중심으로 - (A Study on Harbor Logistics in China)

  • 중국은 '중국의 아시아 비즈니스 중심화'라는 전략을 수립하고 항만 및 물류분야 인프라 구축 및 집중 개발정책을 적극 추진하고 있다. 그 중점적인 개발 대상은 상하이항과 장강유역이다. 이러한 중국정부의 상하이항과 장강유역의 개발이 동북아시아의 물류집중화를 더욱 촉진시키고 있고, 또한 중화권의 해운항만이 더욱 활성화되는 기폭제가 되고 있다. 이에 따라, 우리나라의 대응전략으로 크게 세 가지를 제시하였다. 첫째, 중화물류권의 성장에 따른 우리선사들의 차별화된 서비스와 네트워크, 둘째, 장강 유역에서 화물 운송 서비스사업에 나서기 위해서는 중국 기업과 합작 투자, 셋째, 상하이항과 장강 개발에 따른 환황해권 해상교통망을 구축하는 것이다.

동북아 물류중심과 광양항 (Strategy for Kwangyang Port as a Logistics Center of East Asia)

  • These days the surroundings around harbours are rapidly changing. Particularly in the age of Pacific Rim it is rather clear that the competition among the harbours in Northeast Asia region where are so many of worldwidely famous harbours might be intense. From 1980s on the industrialization and urbanization in the area of Kwang Yand-Bay, thanks to the regional development program, have been speedily under way. And in the year of 1987 the 1st development program of Kwang Yang-Bay container quay was started and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 1997. As the completion of the program it is expected that in 1998 the newly-opening Kwang Yang-Bay container quay on one hand will play a role in relieving the awaiting-time of vessels in Pusan Port, and on the other hand it will contribute to the balanced development of the country. In this context this thesis conducted Its study on the effect of the specification and facilities of a harbour, and especially on the effect on the regional economy resulted by the development & developmental static of Kwang Yang-Bay container quay. And progressively in the thesis the plan to provide Kwang Yang-Bay container quay with competitiveness was suggested.

터빈 동익 스퀼러팁 표면에서의 열(물질)전달 특성 (Heat/Mass Transfer Characteristics on the Squealer Tip Surface of a Turbine Rotor Blade)

  • The flow and heat/mass transfer characteristics on the squealer tip surface of a high-turning turbine rotor blade have been investigated at a Reynolds number of $2.09{\times}10^5$, by employing the oil-film flow visualization and naphthalene sublimation technique. The squealer rim height-to-chord ratio and tip gap height-to-chord ratio are fixed as typical values of $h_{st}/c$ = 5.5% and h/c = 2.0%, respectively, for turbulence intensities of Tu = 0.3% and 15%. The results show that the near-wall flow phenomena within the cavity of the squealer tip are totally different from those over the plane tip. There are complicated backward flows from the suction side to the pressure side near the cavity floor, in contrast to the plane tip gap flows moving toward the suction side after flow separation/reattachment. The squealer tip provides a significant reduction in tip surface thermal load with less severe gradient compared to the plane tip. In this study, the tip surface is divided into six different regions, and transport phenomena at each region are discussed in detail. The mean thermal load averaged over the squealer cavity floor is augmented by 7.5 percents under the high inlet turbulence level.

피부밑이마당김술 (Subcutaneous Forehead Lift)

  • Purpose: The purpose is to present an useful and simple surgical method to improve the aging of upper third face in patients with high frontal hairline as well as low frontal hairline. Methods: Forty eight female patients were treated with subcutaneous forehead lift using an anterior hairline incision over 14 years. This surgical technique is performed under direct vision utilizing a beveled incision made 4 to 5 mm into the anterior hairline with subcutaneous dissection, which is continued near to eyebrow, sometimes extended to supraorbital rim to remove corrugator and procerus muscles. In patients with high frontal hairline, excess forehead skin anterior to incision line is removed. On the contrary in the patients with low frontal hairline, scalp posterior to incision line is removed. Results: This technique provided constant and good results with the forty six patients, who were satisfied with eyebrow elevation and removal of wrinkles in forehead and glabellar region. However two patients were undercorrected, and focal alopecia developed in another two patients. One patient complained of pruritus over one year, but subsided spontaneously without any treatment. Temporary paresthesia developed in the forehead and frontal scalp of all cases after operation but permanent sensory loss never occurred in all the patients. Conclusion: Subcutaneous forehead lift using an anterior hairline incision is suggested to be one of the effective surgical methods to improve the aging of upper third face in the patients with high frontal hairline as well as low frontal hairline.
