To improve concrete tensile strength and bending strength, New plan that have more economical and simple manufacture process is groped. By an alternative plan, chemical pre-stressed concrete is presented. In this study, we analyzed the rheological properties of cement paste with the kind and replacement ratio of k-type CSA type expansive additives that is used mainly in domestic. and we suggested that the algorithm of a mixing plan in the chemical pre-stressed concrete and from this, we presented the basic report for the right mixing plan. From the results, Flow increased more or less according to use of expansive additives. This phenomenon was observed by increasing paste amount that shows as substitution for expansive additives that specific gravity is smaller than that of cement. As linear regression a result supposing paste that mix expansive additives by Bingham plastic fluid. The shear rate and shear stress expressed high interrelationship. therefore, flow analysis of quantitative was available. The plastic viscosity following to replacement ratio of expansive additives is no change almost, the yield value is decreased in proportion to the added amount of expansive additives. Through this experiment, we could evaluate rheological properties of cement paste using the expansive additives. Hereafter by an additional experiment, we must confirm stability assessment of material separation by using the aggregate with the kind and replacement ratio of expansive additives.

It is well known that red blood cells (RBCs) are suffered from chronic stresses in systemic circulation. The objective of this study is to clarify the effect of the aging of RBCs on rheological properties and hemolysis. Initially, RBCs age fractionation was performed by using a high-speed centrifugation (15[min] at 1500[G]), then young and aged RBCs were suspended in plasma to adjust the hematocrit level of 40[%]. After this pretreatment, the viscosity was measured by using a capillary type and a cone-plate type viscometers, respectively, and the hemolysis test was carried out by a seesaw type shaker. Results from these experiments showed that the viscosity of the aged RBCs measured by the capillary viscometer was increased by 10[%] as compared with that of the young RBCs. Under the condition of all shear zones, the viscosity of the aged RBCs was increased in case of using the cone-plate type viscometer. And the hemolytic level was increased twice as the aging. The data obtained in this study indicated that the ability of aggregation of RBCs was increased and the deformability of RBCs membrane got lower with the aging. Furthermore, it was exhibited that the fragility of RBCs ’ membrane was increased with the aging.

Molecular characteristics and rheological properties of cellulose acetate butyrate (CAB), cellulose acetate propionate (CAP) and nitrocellulose (GC-519) which are being widely used as propellants were investigated. Their weight-average molecular weight (Mw) and number-average molecular weight (Mn) were estimated via Gel Permeartion Chromatograpy (GPC). Cellulose derivatices were mixed with di-n-propyl adipate (DNPA) which acted as plasticizer in acetone, and then rheological properties of the mixture of cellulose derivatives and this plasticizer in acetone were investigated at $0^{\circ}C$ by rheometer.
This study was carried out as basic researches to develop the leaf vegetable harvester. This study was conducted to investigate physical and rheological properties of bundled leaf vegetables with stem (Chinese leek, Crown daisy and Chamnamul) as test materials held and picked-up by a machine. Stress-strain behavior, stress relaxation, and strain recovery for the bundled materials were analyzed using simple Maxwell model. Physical and rheological properties of the materials were investigated by measuring rupture load, deformation and stress experimentally. Also, strain recovery time when unloading was measured using super high speed camera. Recorded recovery time for stress-strain behavior was0.026 s for Chinese leek with liner strain recovery, 0.046 s for Crown daisy and 0.05 s for Chamnamul with non-linear strain recovery. Furthermore, the strain recovery time for permanent deformation was 0.026 s, 0.046 s, and 0.05 s for Chinese Leek, Crown daisy and Chamnamul, respectively. Finally, strain recovery time and strain recovery ratio for the test materials were 0.17 s, 60.4% in Chinese leek, 0.12 s, 55.3% in Crown daisy, 0.15 s, 58.7% in Chamnamul. Here strain recovery time means that how fast the test materials are recovered from initial deformation and strain recovery ratio means how much the test materials are recovered from initial deformation. The above results show that the test materials can be held enough and moved by the belts.
Dynamic rheological properties of honeys with invert sugar at different mixing ratios of honey and invert sugar (10/0, 812, and 6/4 ratios) were evaluated at various low temperatures (-15, -10, -5, and $0^{\circ}C$) using a controlled stress rheometer for small-deformation oscillatory measurements. Honey-invert sugar mixtures displayed a liquid-like behavior, with loss modulus (G") predominating over storage modulus (G') (G">>G'), showing the high dependence on frequency (${\omega}$). The magnitudes of G' and G" increased with a decrease in temperature while their predominant increases were noticed at -10 and $-15^{\circ}C$. The greater tan ${\delta}$ values were found at higher temperature and ratio of honey to invert sugar, indicating that the honey samples at subzero temperatures become more viscous with increased ratio of honey to invert sugar and temperature. The time-temperature superposition (TTS) principle was used to bring G" values at various temperatures together into a single master curve. The TTS principle was suitable for the honey samples in the liquid-like state. The progress of viscous property (G") was also described well by the Arrhenius equation with high determination coefficients ($R^2=0.99$). Dynamic rheological properties of honey samples seem to be greatly influenced by the addition of invert sugar.

Cement paste is originally the basic material and crucial factor consisting concrete. This study investigates the relationship between flow apparatuses, which are ring flow(R-F), flow cone(F-C) and mini slump(M-S), in order to estimate the fluidity of cement Paste. For quantitatively evaluating the measured data this study also investigated the calibration of the rheology consistent, such as yield value and plastic viscosity, of cement paste using viscometer For this purpose the present work discussed the influence of 3 type of ordinary portland cement with different companies, affecting the fluidity of cement paste. and it also demonstrated the influence of the various kinds of mineral admixtures, such as fly ash(FA), blast furnace slag(BS) and silica fume(SF) and that of incorporating ratio. The author concluded that using R-F apparatus is the most effective flow test method of cement paste and it is exactly proportional to other apparatus' rheological properties.
Rheological properties of cement pastes containing blast furnace slag (BFS: 3,900, $7,910\;cm^2/g$) or fly ash powder (FA: 4,120, $8,100\;cm^2/g$) according to the ratio of water/binder (W/B) and the dosage of polycarboxylate type superplasticizer (PC) were investigated by a mini slump and a coaxial cylinder viscometer. In this experiment, the ratio of replacing OPC with BFS or FA was 30 wt%, the W/B was from 30 to 70 wt%. As a result, the fluidity of cement paste containing BFS or FA was improved with increasing W/B and the dosage of PC. BFS or FA replaced cement paste with W/B 70% and PC 0.3% showed the highest fluidity. The segregation range of cement paste was occurred below $10\;d/cm^2$ of the yield stress and below 50 cPs of the plastic viscosity by the coaxial cylinder viscometer. And also it was formed that the plastic viscosity and the yield stress of FA replaced cement paste were higher than them of BFS replaced cement paste.
Sole in the footwear usually modified with foaming agent on the polymer resin to improve the lightweightness and crush-cushion effect. In this study, we investigated rheological properties for polymer resin filled with the different type and concentration of foaming agent, capsule type foaming agent and organo-chemical foaming agent, under the time sweep test. Curing times of each polymer resin with different kind of foaming agent are delayed than reference material (epoxy resin with curing agent). In case of adding capsule type foaming agent, however, there is appropriate concentration to reduce the curing time, relatively. When foaming agent is activated, foaming force inflates the sample in contrast to condensation force of curing and then axial normal force develop to the (+) direction. Interestingly, by increase concentration of foaming agent, there is a specific point to break down the axial normal force development. The reason for this phenomenon is that coalescence of foams induce the blocking of axial normal force development.
Dynamic rheological properties of hot pepper-soybean paste (HPSP) mixed with xanthan gum were evaluated at different gum concentrations (0.3, 0.6, and 0.9%) and fermentation times (12 and 24 week). Magnitudes of storage (G') and loss moduli (G") in the HPSP-xanthan gum mixture systems increased with an increase in frequency ($\omega$), while complex viscosity (${\eta}^*$) decreased. G' values were higher than the G" values over most of the frequency range (0.63-63 rad/sec), and were frequency-dependent. The dynamic moduli (G', G", and ${\eta}^*$) of the HPSP-xathan mixtures were lower than those of the control (0% gum). The differences between the dynamic moduli values at 12-week and 24-week fermentation decreased with increasing gum concentration, showing that xanthan gum can be used to stabilize and improve the viscoelastic rheological properties of HPSP. The G' value of the HPSP-xathan mixtures increased with an increase in gum concentration from 0.3 to 0.9%, whereas the G" decreased. The ability of xanthan gum to increase the elastic properties in the HPSP-xanthan mixture systems seemed to be the result of the incompatibility phenomena existing between xanthan gum and glutinous rice starch.
Effect of acetylated starches (acetylated rice starch and acetylated tapioca starch) on rheological properties of hot pepper-soybean paste (HPSP) at different mixing ratios of rice flour (RF) and acetylated starch (AS) (10/0, 9/1, 8/2, and 7/3) was evaluated in steady and dynamic shear. All HPSP samples at $25^{\circ}C$ exhibited shear-thinning (n=0.31-0.36) and thixotropic behavior with high yield stresses and their steady flow curves were well described by power law and Casson models. The presence of AS resulted in the decrease in consistency index (K), apparent viscosity (${\eta}_{a,100}$), and yield stress (${\sigma}_{oc}$), and their predominant decreases were noticed at higher ratio of RF to AS (7/3 ratio). Arrhenius temperature relationship represents variation with temperature in the range of $5-35^{\circ}C$ with the high determination coefficients ($R^2=0.97-0.99$). Dynamic moduli (G', G", and ${\eta}^*$) values of HPSP samples mixed with AS were lower than those of HPSP with no added AS within the experimental range of frequency (0.63-62.8 rad/sec). Steady and dynamic shear rheological properties of HPSP samples seem to be greatly influenced by the presence of acetylated starch.
