  • The Yang-Hui arithmetic(楊輝算法) is a crucial textbook on mathematics for make out the Orient mathematics. In this thesis, compare the Yang-Hui arithmetic and the part of the equation and the function both in the middle school mathematics of the 7th Educational Curriculum Revision. As well, drawing a parallel between two things is the solution that had given in the Yang-Hui arithmetic and have given in the middle school textbook of the 7th Educational Curriculum Revision.

  • This paper suggests an environmental improvement scheme for the enactment and revision process of the standard of construction estimation in communication field. The first subject is a simplification of process on the enactment and revision. It can be achieved by transfer the function to the professional board from the subordinate council. The second process is an adoption of tentative step on enactment and revision. And the last subject is creation of maintenance part. All the improvement shall be carried on in long term schedule and on the sufficient financial support from government.

  • This study is aimed at investigating the aspects of peer correction and responses of English composition in the web-based class. The participants for this study are students enrolled in the 'preparatory college cyber study center'. Two assignments were given--composition with no feedback and composition followed by student feedback. The participants' feedbacks, responses, and attitudes in peer interaction were analysed. The processes of these two assignments were also compared. The results were as follows: First, students' competitive attitude changed into cooperative attitude when peer-revision was followed. Second, both formal and content feedback were shown in the cyber composition class just as in the classroom composition class, but under no specific guidance, the majority of students' feedbacks were formal feedbacks. Third, some characteristics of web-based writing were found. In the web-based writing class where around a hundred students are enrolled. students' feedbacks were inevitable. The results of this study supported the use of students feedback.

  • Inselecting scars for treatment, attention be paid not only to the features of the defect as seen objectively but also to the element of the defect most disturbing to the patient. We revised the scar tissues with simple elliptical excision, Z-plasty, modified Z-plasty, W-plasty and hand dermabrasion in varialbe pattern of scars and got the favorable results. The success rate of scar revision usually depends on the patient's subjective judgement. We must inform our patient the limitation of scar revision and importance of postoperative care. The oral and maxillofacial surgeons must resolve the variable scars which re involved in variable operations and traumas.

  • In 1974 appeared the revision of Chapter 6 (which was then published as a sepprate monograph) of the Anglo-American Cataloging Rules (= AACR). The revision is the sum result of the incorporation of the many changes put forth in the International Standard Bibliographic Description for Monographic Publications (= ISBD (M)) including the prescribed punctuation and also the reorganization and and rearrangement, in much clearer and more accurate terms, of the previous 1967 AACR rules. The purpose of the present study is then to point out the major differences between the 1967 AACR rules and the revised 1974 AA CR rules (for Chapter 6) for the benefit of the cataloger in her actual task of descriptive cataloging. The article consists of three parts: (1) an examination of the Appendices, I, III, and V of the revised rules, which are necessary for understanding the revision of Chapter 6; (2) comparative analysis of the Seven Areas of the revised General rules commonly used in descritpive cataloging; and (3) comparative analysis of Special rules.

  • There are many factors that affect on the system output of Photovoltaic(PV) power generation; the variation of solar radiation, temperature, energy conversion efficiency of solar cell etc. This paper suggests a methodology for calculation of PV generation output using the probability distribution function of irradiance, PV array efficiency and revision factors of solar cell conversion efficiency. Long-term irradiance data recorded every hour of the day for 11 years were used. For goodness-fit test, several distribution (unctions are tested by Kolmogorov-Smirnov(K-S) method. The calculated generation output with or without revision factors of conversion efficiency is compared with that of CMS (Centered Monitoring System), which can monitor PV generation output of each PV generation site.

  • Pseudotumors are not uncommon complications after total hip arthroplasty (THA) and may occur due to differences in bearing surfaces of the head and the liner ranging from soft to hard articulation. The most common causes of pseudotumors are foreign-body reaction, hypersensitivity and wear debris. The spectrum of pseudotumor presentation following THA varies greatly-from completely asymptomatic to clear implant failure. We report a case of pseudo-tumor formation with acetabular cup aseptic loosening after revision ceramic-on-metal hip arthroplasty. The patient described herein underwent pseudotumor excision and re-revision complex arthroplasty using a trabecular metal shell and buttress with ceramic-on-polyethylene THA. Surgeons should be aware of the possibility of a pseudotumor when dealing with revisions to help prevent rapid progression of cup loosening and implant failure, and should intervene early to avoid complex arthroplasty procedures.

  • Purpose : The purpose was to evaluate the early result of revision of failed anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction. Materials and Methods : From August 1997 to February 2002, this report presents the findings of 18 patients who had revision surgery for failed ACL reconstruction. There was an average of 39 $(7\~120)$months from index procedure to the time of revision. Allografts were used in 14 $(78\%)$cases and autografts were used in 4 $(22\%)$cases and the revision procedures were assisted by arthroscopic technique. The majority of chief complaints were instability in 16 $(89\%)$cases. Sixteen $(89\%)$ cases had 1 previous reconstruction, 2 $(11\%)$ cases had 2. Before and after revision, patients were evaluated by Lachman test, pivot shift test, KT 2000, radiographs, Lysholm score and HSS score and subjective satisfaction. Results : Average length of followup was 27 $(12\~60)$months. Preoperatively, all cases were positive in Lachman test and pivot shift test. After revision the majority of cases were negative. Objectively improving stability was confirmed by KT 2000 and all average KT 2000 was 7.75 $(3.5\~12.5)$mm preoperatively and 2.36 $(1.0\~6.0)$mm at final followup. Lysholm score and HSS score were also improved from 72.6 $(66\~77)$ and 72.5 $(68\~78)$ preoperatively to 89.2 $(80\~92)$ and 88.2 $(81\~92)$ at final followup. Most $(89\%)$ of patients were satisfied with their results. The most common causes of failed ACL reconstruction were malposition of femoral tunnel in 11 $(61\%)$cases. Conclusion : Arthroscopic revision ACL surgery with adequate graft for failed ACL reconstruction was successful in objectively and subjectively improving stability. However, considering the most common causes of failure after ACL reconstruction were errors in surgical technique, it is important that the primary ACL reconstruction should be performed with correct surgical technique.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze how the emphasis of the 2007 curriculum revision is reflected on the units of 'Adolescence Self-Management' and 'Adolescence Consumption life' in the Technology·Home Economics textbooks that are used in middle school from this year. The entry style of large, middle, and small units, the objectives statements, the main contents, the activities, illustrations/tables/pictures, the supplemental materials, and the ending style of middle and large units of 12 Technology·Home Economics textbooks were analyzed. Among the several specific emphasis in the 2007 curriculum revision, 3 major emphasis were selected. The 3 major emphasis that were selected were: practical reasoning process, sustainable consumption life, and career education. How these 3 emphasis were reflected in the various parts of the 12 textbooks were analyzed using the criteria found in the literature.
