This descriptive study was conducted in order to develop a standard criteria for nursing laboratory facilities and equipment for use by the 3 year nursing colleges. The data was collected from Aug. 28 to Sept. 30, 1997 by mail from 44 3 year nursing schools. To develop a standard criteria, the syllabi for Fundamentals of Nursing laboratory and for Physical Assessment were collected and analyzed. The following information was elicited and analyzed by the researchers : 1. for each procedure in the syllabus, the percentage of schools using the procedures 2. the facilities and equipment recognized as necessary and the percentage of schools which possess each item 3. calculation of the standard criteria for size of the nursing laboratory together with a list of the necessary facilities and equipment. The results of the study were as follows : 1. The Size of facility was 181.2m2 for fundamentals of Nursing laboratory and 56.4m2 for the storage room. For those whose number of students exceed 120, 1.98m2 is required for each students. 2. The number of items included in the standard criteria was 92 for Fundamentals of Nursing and Physical Assessment and 47 for other nursing subjects. The items made of rubber, plastic and the disposable ones were suggested but excluded from the standard criteria. Based on the above findings, the following suggestions were made : 1. Periodic review of the standard criteria is necessary to update the standard. 2. A study on the standardization of the curriculum for basic science laboratory, including experiment and a standard criteria of equipment, is necessary. 3. A study to develop a computer program for management of nursing laboratory facilities and equipment is needed.

STEP(Standard for the Exchange of Product Model Data)은 이기종 자동화 시스템 간에 제품정보를 교환하는데 사용되는 국제표준이다. 이 표준안은 ISO TC184/SC4에서 제정되고 있는데, 이 회의가 매년 3-4회씩 열리고 있다. 95년 3월에는 호주 시드니, 95년 6월에는 미국 워싱톤, 지난 10월에는 프랑스의 그레노블에서 개최되었다. 이 글에서는 그레노블 회의에 참석한 보고를 드리고자 한다. 말미에 수집자료 목록을 첨부하였으므로 관심있는 분들은 연락을 바란다.

최근 미국에서는 그 동안 표준 암호 알고리즘으로 사용한 DES를 폐기하고 후속으로 새로운 블럭 암호를 개발하여 표준으로 채택하려 하고 있다. 본 고에서는 현재까지 이루어진 Advanced Encryption Standard 활동을 개괄적으로 기술하고자 한다. 본 고는 추후 국내의 표준 암호 개발에 대한 활동이 있을 경우 참고 자료가 될 수 있을 것이다.

I review the status of the concordance (standard) LCDM model of cosmology in light of current observations discussing about the apparent tensions in estimation of the key cosmological parameters. I will also briefly discuss the future of the field at the era of the next generation of the astronomical/cosmological surveys.

Although advertising plays an important role of information source for consumer, also advertising affect negative influence to the consumer and social system. Under the such a concept, this study reviewed the social responsibility of advertising and the freedom of expression including the foreign country's advertising regulation system as the theoretical background of advertising regulation. In addition, this study analyzed the case of the advertisement reviews by Korea Advertising Review Board(august 1, 2000, the business concerning prior deliberation of broadcast advertisements was entrusted to the Korea Advertising Review Board, a civilian self-regulatory body, by the Korean Broadcasting Commission) and Fare Trade Commission. As the result of data analysis, some problems of regulation system and codes are suggested and discussed as follows: (1) the high ratio of rejection (2) using the unnecessary foreign language (3) inconsistency application of deliberation standard.

This paper presents a comprehensive review of recent advances in ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC). Fundamental characteristics of UHPC are elaborated with focus on its material constituents, mixing, and formulation procedures. Use of state-of-the-art materials such as carbon nanotubes or nano-silica is discussed as well, whose inclusion may enhance the performance of UHPC. The review evaluates supplementary treatment methods (e.g., pressuring curing) and identifies applicable standard test methods for determining the properties and behavior of UHPC. Site implementation is provided to link laboratory research with full-scale application. Research needs are suggested to further develop UHPC technologies from technical and socio-economical perspectives.

Objectives : Xiaochaihutang(小柴胡湯) is a famous herbal prescription in the Traditional Korean Medicine, and its components include Bupleuri Radix(柴胡), Scutellariae Radix(黃芩), Ginseng Radix(人蔘), Pinelliae Tuber(半夏), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma(甘草), Zingiberis Rhizoma Crudus(生薑), Zizyphi Fructus(大棗). Methods : In this study, we reviewed the effects of xiaochaihutang by searching Pubmed. And we connected with Korean Standard Classification of Diseases (KCD) and the effects of xiaochaihutang. Results and Conclusion : The effects of xiaochaihutang was related with B18, C22, C34, C56, J30, J45, K70, K74, K76, F32, F33, F34, F41 as indicated by KCD. In clinics, the medical doctors almost use the KCD code for insurance. This review give us the scientific clue of Xiaochaihutang's effect in KCS system.

This study is purposed to review the confirm method of pumping efficiency using the concrete flow table test in Korea environment. This test method is registered as the "EN 12350-5, Testing fresh concrete. Flow table test" in Eurocode. When applying this test in the Korea construction environment, we reviewed that reasonably apply on the Korean construction Environment. As a result, test results analysis showed that the reality looks a big difference. Its cause is believed to be due to the shape of coarse & fine aggregate. But it will be better predict method, through the correlation analysis of construction data and the standard(Placing Concrete by pumping Methods(ACI Manual of concrete Practice 304.2R-96)).
