다공 초음속 분류소음에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Supersonic Jet Noise from Multihole)

  • The objective of this paper is to study experimentally on the noise characteristics of supersonic jet from multihole orifice in the range of jet pressure from $at_g$ to $at_g$ in the reverberation room. At first, the single orifice jets are investigated for various hole diameter from 3.8mm to 10mm. Through the noise spectrum, the turbulent mixing noise and the shock associated noise is analyzed. The noise for confined jets into a tube of diameter 30mm or 90mm with length 2m is investigated in comparision with that for the free jets. The sound power level is measured and compared with thoretical models for free jet. At second, multihole orifice jets are investigated to study the effect of multijet on noise reduction. The spectrum and power level of multijets are measured and compared with single jets. The multi-jets in a confined pipe are also investigated. It is found that the noise spectrum is significantly altered by increasing the number of jet with decrease in jet diameter and also by confining the jet into tube.

SEA를 이용한 셸과 실린더의 최적 용접 조건 (Optimum Welding Position between Shell and Cylinder based on SEA)

  • The overall aim of this paper is to determine coupling loss factor of welding point between shell and cylinder using loss factor and structural loss factor. For this purpose, two kinds of loss factor were adopted. One is loss factor of each sub structure, another is structural loss factor based on the complex welded or assembled structure. Using these two parameters, it ispossible to derive the coupling loss factor which represent characteristic condition of SEA theory. Coupling loss factor of conjunction in complex structure was expressed as power balance equation. The derived equation for a coupling loss factor has been simplified on the assumption of one way (uni-directional) power flow between multi-sub structures. Using these conditions, it is possible to find the equation of coupling loss factor expressed as above two loss factors. To check the effectiveness of above equation, this paper used two-stage application. The first approach was application between simple cylinder and shell. The next was adopted rotary compressor. Rotary compressor has three main conjunctions between shell and internal vibration part. This equation was applied to find out the optimum welding point with respect to reduce the noise propagation. It shows the effective tool to evaluate the coupling loss factor in complex structure

The New Mass Estimator of Black Hole in Active Galaxies with Near Infrared Hydrogen Line

  • About 50% of Active Galactic Nuclei(AGNs) are found to be red and dust-obscured. They are believed to be in an early dusty stage of AGNs evolution or affected by dust torus in the direction of line of sight. However, optical spectrum is affected by dust extinction, making it difficult to study their properties, such as FWHM and luminosity. In order to reveal the mass of central Black Hole(BH) in red AGN, we establish a new BH mass estimator for typical type1 AGNs using Near InfraRed(NIR) hydrogen line($P_{\alpha}$ and $P_{\beta}$), since these lines are at longer wavelength, less affected by dust extinction than optical hydrogen lines, such as $H_{\alpha}$ and $H_{\alpha}$. To derive the new empirical formula, we use a sample of well-known 36 AGN with a wide BH mass range of $10^6-10^9\;M_{\odot}$, where $M_{BH}s$ are estimated by reverberation mapping method and single epoch method. The $P_{\alpha}/P_{\beta}$ luminosities and FWHMs are derived by analyzing IRTF NIR spectra or taken from literature values. We show that luminosities and FWHMs of these lines correlate well with those of Balmer lines. Suggesting that Paschen and Balmer broad lines are originated from same region. Finally, we present the new $M_{BH}$ formula that are based on $P_{\alpha}/P_{\beta}$ luminosity and FWHM. We hope that our result will be used for investigating red AGNs.

부유성 퇴적물이 해저면 잔향음 신호에 미치는 영향 (The effect of suspended sediment on bottom reverberation)

  • 잔향음은 시변동성이 존재하는 유동성 경계면 잔향음(해수면, 체적)과 시변동성이 존재하지 않는 고정 경계면 잔향음(해저면)으로 분류된다. 그러나 고정 경계면 잔향음으로 알려진 해저면 잔향음에서도 단주기적 시변동성이 존재하고 있음이 여러 실측자료에서 관측되고 있다. 본 연구는 시변동성의 원인을 파악하고자 실험실에서 부유성 퇴적물의 농토에 따른 후방산란 신호를 측정하였다. 또한 동해에서 측정된 시간에 따른 잔향음신호(80kHz)와 ADCP(4.2MHz) 자료를 비교하여 천해에서의 체적 산란체의 변동이 잔향음 신호에 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 확인하였다. 아울러 본 논문에서는 잔향음 신호의 단주기적 시변동성에 의한 잡음 성분을 제거하여 표준화된 잔향음 신호를 획득하기 위한 방법으로 Low Rank Approximation(LRA)을 제안하였다. 이 기법은 특이해 분해(Singular Value Decomposition, SVD)를 수행하여 실측 자료 행렬로부터 고유치(Eigenvalue)과 고유벡터(Eigenvector)를 추출한 후, 추출된 고유치를 제한적으로 사용하여 근사화 하는 기법으로 시변동성 신호를 제거하는데 효율적인 방법이다.

퇴적층 구성 매질 및 표면 형태에 따른 후방산란 강도 측정 (Measurements of Backscattering Strength from Various Shapes of Sediment Surfaces and Layers)

  • 고주파 (126-㎑) 음향 신호를 이용하여 퇴적층의 구성 매질 및 표면 형태에 따른 산란 신호 변화를 측정하였다. 퇴적층은 구성 매질에 따라 사니질 (sandy mud), 사질 (sand), 자갈 (gravel)의 세가지 경우와 이를 혼합한 경우로 하였으며, 표층 연흔 (ripple) 형태에 따라 연흔과 음파 진행방향이 직각을 이루는 경우 및 평행한 경우를 모의하였다. 평면입사각 변화 및 연흔 구성 형태에 따른 후방산란 강도는 평면입사각에 비례하여 증가하였으며, 연흔 형성 방향과 음파 진행 방향이 이루는 각이 작을수록 삼차원적인 측방산란이 강하게 나타났다. 연흔과 음파가 이루는 각이 증가할수록 후방산란은 증가하였으며, 지음향적 요소 외에도 연흔 형성과 방향에 음파 산란이 강하게 의존함을 알 수 있었다.

  • Fractional 푸리에 변환(Fractional Fourier Transform : FrFT)은 기존의 푸리에 변환의 일반화된 형태로서, 변환차수 ${\alpha}$에 따라 임의의 시간-주파수 영역에서의 신호해석이 가능하다. FrFT는 특히 LFM(Linear Frequency Modulation) 신호의 분석에 있어 잡음에 강한 특성으로 인해 많은 장점을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 능동소나에서 표적에 맞고 반향된 수신신호의 FrFT 스펙트럼으로부터 표적과의 거리를 추정하는 새로운 방법을 제안하였다. 합성한 표적 신호를 통해 제안한 방법의 타당성을 검증하였으며, 실제 수중 실험을 통해 얻은 잡음 및 잔향 환경에서의 신호에서도 신뢰성 있는 표적과의 거리 추정이 가능함을 확인하였다.

  • Recently, as the speed and performance of the launcher and the missile have been improved, it is necessary to consider the acoustic load of launching and flight in initial design step. In this paper, an experimental study on acoustic absorption and transmission characteristics of aluminium vs. sandwich composite structures were conducted. The overall noise reduction was evaluated by performing an acoustic test in the reverberation room, and the acoustic absorption and transmission loss of the structures were analyzed by conducting the sound absorption test inside the structure.

셀롤로오즈 흡음재의 음향적 특성 평가 (Evaluations of the Acoustics Characteristics of Cellulose Absorbers)

  • Eco-friendly material applied to building would be one of the materials which is must developed for global environmental conservation and reduction of carbon dioxide. For development of eco-friendly material, a cellulose sound-absorbing material has been developed with waste paper through adjustment of various mix proportions. The developed cellulose sound-absorbing material has been tested for its acoustic properties such as acoustic absorptivity and dynamic elastic modulus. The absorptivity was evaluated by developing six samples and using impedance tube and reverberation chamber. As a result of the evaluation, 0.64(NRC) was secured in absorptivity and $4.7MN/m^3$ was indicated in dynamic elastic modulus. Also, for practical use of developed sound-absorbing material as inner heartwood in drywall, comparison test of sound reduction index was performed with existing glass wool sound-absorbing material and constructed drywall of gybsum board. The results have shown 55dB(Rw) of sound reduction index in glass-wool wall and 46dB(Rw) in cellulose.

발포유리 혼합기포 콘크리트의 바닥충격음 차단성능 영향에 관한 연구 (The Effect of Aerated Concrete containing Foam Glass Aggregate on the Floor Impact Sound Insulation)

  • As structure-borne sound, the floor impact sound is one of the serious noises in residential building. Most of heating system applied to the typical Korean residential building is floor heating system which is called ondol. The ondol usually consists of finishing material, mortar with heating coil, light-weight aerated concrete and reinforced concrete. This study focused on the isolation of heavy-weight impact sound and modification of mortar and light-weight aerated concrete. Specifically the glass foam aggregate was added on light-weight aerated concrete. Also, water-cement ratio and amount of cement on mortar were revised. The sound pressure level of heavy-weight impact was measured in reverberation chamber using both bang-machine and impact ball. The size of specimen was 1 m by 1 m. Substitution ratio of glass foam aggregate on light-weight aerated concrete shows relationship with heavy-weight impact sound pressure level. In addition, heavy-weight impact sound pressure level was decreased with increment of water-cement ratio and amount of cement on mortar.
