코로나19에 따른 유형별 소매유통시설의 아파트 가격 영향: 전역적·국지적 시계열 효과를 중심으로 (Impact of Living Retail Business by Type on Apartment Prices according to COVID-19: Focusing on Global and Local Time Series Effects)

  • 본 연구는 헤도닉가격모델과 공간적 이질성을 고려한 지리가중회귀모델을 바탕으로 코로나19에 따른 유형별 소매유통시설 접근성이 아파트 가격에 미치는 전역적·국지적 시계열 영향을 실증분석 하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전역적 측면에서 소매유통시설은 유형별로 주변 아파트 가격에 차별적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 코로나19가 소매유통시설에 미친 영향은 존재하였으나, 역시 유형별로 차별적인 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 국지적 측면에서 코로나19에 따라 소매유통시설이 주변 아파트 가격에 미치는 영향 변화는 지역별, 유형별로 차이를 보였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구는 유형별 소매유통시설이 아파트 가격에 미치는 영향력은 차별적이라는 사실을 확인하였으며, 특히 코로나19 발생 전과 후 유형별 소매유통시설이 주변 지역에 미치는 영향 역시 국지적으로 차별화되고 있다는 점을 명확히 하였다. 이는 코로나19와 같은 외부 충격이 소매유통시설의 역할과 인식을 바꿀 수 있다는 것을 의미하며, 이를 토대로 본 연구는 엔데믹 시대 소매유통시설의 부정적 영향을 줄이고 주거지 환경을 개선할 수 있는 정책적 시사점을 제시하였다.

Classification of distribution channels of textile and apparel retailers in Turkey

  • Being one of the most important textile and apparel producers for years, Turkey began to become active in terms of retailing. Although retailing industry is in its growing phase, the social and economic influences caused the customers' tastes and demands to be more distinctive and segmented in parallel with the advancement of the retail industry. Therefore, the retail industry began to develop in more fragmented way where clear boundaries between different types of retailers were established. In this study, the apparel retail market is overviewed and analyzed within the context for determination of the current situation and future prospective. To this aim, the textile and apparel companies that are active in Turkey were classified into groups based on the type of distribution channels they used. Then, the performances of the groups were established using the secondary type of resources. Finally, the findings were summarized, by showing the similarities and differences between different channels.

Consumers' Device Choice in E-Retail: Do Regulatory Focus and Chronotype Matter?

  • Today, digital shoppers express increasingly complex buying behavior. They can use multiple channels for shopping and also they can switch from one to another channel almost effortlessly, in the result of engaging in omnichannel shopping behavior. A few years ago, consumers were using brick and mortar stores to make their purchases. However, nowadays, they possess different digital devices (mobile and/or desktop) to search for different alternatives and to make a better shopping choice. These devices (mobile and desktop) are different and offer unique benefits to consumers. However, there has been very little research that has treated mobile and desktop devices separately. Perhaps this study is the pioneer when it comes to investigating the effect of regulatory focus (prevention vs. promotion) and chronotype (morning and evening person) on a sample of university students using desktop and mobile channels for their shopping. The findings from a sample of 312 digital consumers (mobile and/or desktop) confirmed that the desktop channel provides a greater fit for morning-type respondents and that the mobile channel offers better value for evening-type respondents in e-retail. Furthermore, promotion-focused shoppers favor the mobile channel, and prevention-focused shoppers favor the desktop channel. The new insights and contributions of this study provide a better understanding of digital consumers to help sellers to develop a more effective e-retail strategy.

The Linkage between Emotional Labor and Stress Effects on Retail Sales Workers

  • Purpose: Retail workers have a role in attending to customers better, not only making sales to them. In this regard, this research focuses on having a clear understanding of the effects of emotional factors and job stress on mental health for retail sales workers. Research design, data and methodology: The present research conducted both a qualitative textual analysis and interview. This research method is quite useful because it relates the information collected with the research gap. Qualitative data is time-consuming type of data to analyze since it involves interpreting words rather than numbers. Results: The findings showed that emotional labor and stress may not only cause mental harm to the employees but can result in adverse reaction to the customers. Retail employees need to express their true emotions and avoid pretending to be helped with a clear understanding of their needs. Conclusion: This study conclude that motional labor and stress to the retail workers is a real issue that has affected many people around the globe and there is a need to conduct more research on the issue to help employees serve customers much better. Stress among sales workers results to poor working morale and thus affects the entire organization at large.

서울시내 시판 식육에서 분리한 Enterococcus faecalis의 항생제 내성 유형, 다중약물 유출 펌프 유전자 및 병독성 유전자의 분포도 분석 (Analysis of Antimicrobial Resistance Pattern and Distribution of Multi-drug Efflux Pump Genes and Virulence Genes in Enterococcus faecalis Isolated from Retail Meat in Seoul)

  • 본 연구는 서울시내에서 시판중인 식육에서 E. faecalis를 분리하고 이 균들의 항생제 내성 패턴, 항생제 유출 펌프 유전자 및 병독성 유전자의 분포를 분석하였다. 총 277개의 식육시료에서 93균주의 E. faecalis 를 분리하였다. 이 균주들의 항생제 내성비율은 ampicillin에는 35.5%, chloramphenicol에 6.4%, ciprofloxacin에 4.3%, eryhtromycin에 18.3%, quinupristin-dalfopristin에 76.3%, tetracycline에 45.2%의 내성이었으며 levofloxacin, teiconplanin 및 vancomycin에는 모든 균이 감수성이었다. 약물 유출펌프인 MFS 타입의 eme(A)와 ABC 타입의 efr(A)유전자는 모든 균주(100%)에서 확인되었으며 efr(B)는 98.9%, lsa는 91.4%의 균주에서 확인되었다. 병독성 인자인 gel(E)는 68.8%, ace는 90.3%, asa1는 47.3%, efaA는 91.4%, esp는 12.9%의 균주에서 확인되었다. 본 연구는 시판 식육에서 분리한 지표 미생물의 하나인 E. faecalis의 항생제 내성, 약물유출 펌프 및 병독서 유전자의 분포를 분석한 연구로 지속적인 모니터링을 하여야 할 것으로 사료된다.

A study on shelf life of prepackaged retail-ready Korean native black pork belly and shoulder butt slices during refrigerated display

  • Objective: In most retail centers, primal pork cuts for sale are usually prepared into retail-ready slices and overwrapped with air-permeable plastic film. Also, meat of Korean native black pig (KNP) is reputed for its superior quality, however, its shelf life during retail display has not been studied. Thus, the objective of this study was to evaluate shelf life of prepackaged retail-ready KNP belly and shoulder butt slices during refrigerated display. Methods: Bellies and shoulder butt obtained at 24 h post-mortem from finishing KNP were used. Each belly or shoulder butt was manually cut into 1.5 cm-thick slices. The slices in each cut type were randomly taken and placed on white foam tray (2 slices/tray) overwrapped with polyvinyl chloride film. The retail-ready packages were then placed in a retail display cabinet at 4℃. Shelf life and sensory quality of the samples were evaluated on day 1, 3, 6, 9, 12, and 15 of display. Results: The shoulder butt reached the upper limit (20 mg/100 g) of volatile basic nitrogen for fresh meat after 9 days while, the belly remained within this limit throughout the display time (15 days). Both the cuts reached a thiobarbituric acid reactive substances level of above 0.5 mg malondialdehyde/kg after 9 days. The a* (redness) values remained unchanged during first 9 days in both cuts (p>0.05). After 9 days, off-flavor was not found in either cut, but higher off-flavor intensity was found in shoulder butt after 12 days. The shoulder butt was unacceptable for overall eating quality after 12 days while, belly still was acceptable after 12 days. Conclusion: The belly showed a longer shelf life compared to the shoulder butt, and a shelf life of 9 and 12 days is recommended for the prepackaged retail-ready KNP shoulder butt and belly slices, respectively.

도심 엔터테인먼트 쇼핑센터(UEC)의 테넌트 배치 형태에 관한 연구 (A Study on the pattern of tenant layout in the Urban Entertainment Center)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the pattern of tenant layout for selected cases of five different Urban Entertainment Center(UEC) in Seoul. This research deals with the process of gaining tenant layout pattern of 40 different types. It is composed of three combination unit with tenants of the same or different consumption mode, which is divided into four different functions of retail, entertainment, dining, and service. Then, every tenant of research cases is classified as one of the fabric type, and the data is analyzed to gain its frequency rate with SPSS 14.0 program. The following is the overall explanation of the result for this research. The frequency of tenant layout pattern between the same consumption mode shows the high rate when compared to the other patterns with different consumption mode. For example, the frequency rate of tenant layout pattern which retail and dining consumption mode are placed side by side like RRR and DDD is high. Interestingly, the frequency rate of RRR type of tenant layout pattern that sells the similar products shows especially high level. It can provide the effective environment for shoppers to compare retail goods in many different stores as producing synergic effects when they are located near each other, so this strategy should be considered when planning tenants in UEC environment. Moreover, in case of dining tenants, when they are clustered together in the UEC environment it can play a role as an anchor tenant. Tenant layout pattern of dining-retail and dining-service consumption mode shows the high frequency rate than other layout pattern with other consumption mode. Besides, entertainment consumption tenants combined with dining or retail tenants show the high frequency rate when compared to the pattern combined with service consumption mode.

점포진화모델 (The Model for the Evolution of Retail Institution Types)

  • 역사적으로 많은 미국과 유럽의 학자들이 이론적(Conceptual work)으로 또는 실전을 (Empirical work) 통하여 점포진화모델을 제시하려 많은 노력을 기울여왔다. 그러나 이런 많은 연구들에도 불구하고 다음과 같은 한계가 여전히 존재하고 있다: 다양한 종류의 점포기관의 진화에 적용할 수 없다는 점, 그리고 양적 연구(Quantitative research)가 부족하다는 점. 이 연구의 목적은 기존 점포진화이론을 포괄하고 위의 한계점을 극복하는 이론적인 점포진화모델을 개발하여 제시하는 것이다. 연구방법에는 질적연구디자인(Qualitative research design), 특히 지속적인 비교분석방법(Constant comparative analysis)을 통한 기초이론(Grounded theory) 형식의 디자인이 사용되었다. 연구결과, 기존의 점포진화이론의 여러 측면들을 종합하여 점포기관들의 변화과정을 제시하는 새로운 이론적인 모델이 제시되었다.

Meanwhile, it needs protection of existing power industry and activation of new energy market for accomplishment of restructuring of power industry.

Consumer Perceptions on SST in Retail Atmosphere: An application of S-O-R framework

  • Purpose: The aim of this study is to understand the internal and external responses that consumers experience when they are exposed to an innovative system in retail stores. This study considered the SST(Self-Service Technology) system in a retail setting as a type of functional environmental stimuli and selected a smart shopping cart as an example of SST system. The influences of functional environmental stimuli on consumers' emotional, cognitive, and behavioral responses were examined by applying S-O-R model. In addition, this study attempted to extend the traditional S-O-R model by (a) incorporating personal characteristics variables such as time pressure and perceived crowding and (b) considering not only emotional but also cognitive aspects of consumers' internal responses. Research Design, Data, and Methodology: This study used a video-scenario technique. Participants watched a video about grocery shopping situations using a smart shopping cart and responded to their emotional, cognitive, and behavioral responses. An online survey was conducted using Amazon's Mechanical Turk (N = 185). All participants were US consumers over 20 years old and had been shopping at the grocery store in the last month. Data were analyzed through structural equations modeling with AMOS 20. Results: Test results showed that consumers who perceived higher levels of time pressure and perceived crowding in usual shopping situations were more likely to evaluate the SST system favorably. The results showed that personal characteristics have a significant impact on consumers' evaluation of functional environmental stimuli in retail setting. As consumers evaluated the SST system favorably, they experienced more positive affect and less negative affect during their shopping behaviors. Positive affect led to good service quality inference, which further increased patronize intention. However, negative affect did not show a significant impact on service quality inference, but only on patronize intention. Conclusions: This study attempted to investigate the influence of SST system by extending the traditional S-O-R model. This study classified the SST system as functional environmental stimulus of retail stores and analyzed the effect of stimulus on consumers' internal and external responses. The results of this study showed that the introduction of innovative SST can serve as an effective store differentiation strategy in an increasingly competitive retail environment.
