This paper examines individual and social strategies to form profitable cooperation networks. These two types of strategies measure network stability and efficiency that may not meet in a single network. We apply restrictions on knowledge flows (R&D spillovers) and links formation to integrate these benefits into structures that ensure high outcomes for both strategies. The results suggest that linking the spillovers to the firms' positions and restricting cooperation contribute to reducing the conflict between the individual and social strategies in the development of cooperative networks.

The conical bearing can be used to support the radial and thrust load simultaneously. Two circumferential grooves with discrete hole restrictions are made on the bearing surface in order to increase stiffness. In this paper, the dynamic characteristics of this type of bearings are calculated such as stiffness and damping coefficients. As a results of theoretical analysis, it is verified that there exist the groove depth and distance between two grooves which produce the maximum stiffness at the given bearing dimensions.

CSpeech is a software package that implements an audio waveform/speech analysis workstation on an IBM Personal Computer or hardware compatible computer. Features include digitizing audio waveforms on single or multiple channels, displaying the digitized waveforms, playing back audio waveforms from selected intervals of sing1e channels, saving and retrieving waveforms from binary format disk files, and analysing audio waveforms for their temporal and spectral properties. The distinguishing characteristics of CSpeech are its support for multiple channels, minimal restrictions on sample rate and waveform duration support fur a variety of hardware configurations, fast graphics display, and its user- extensible menu- based command structure.

A usual line-commutated thyristor inverter with additional onebypass GTO is presented. With the added one bypass GTO, the extended commutating area is investigation and restrictions for the PWM to reduce the high frequency component of line current are shown.

In this note, we present some sufficient conditions on the structure of modelling uncertainties for output regualtion of uncertain systems. It turns out that these conditions include as special cases the ordinary matching conditions for stage regulation of uncertain systems and the disturbance decoupling condition. the previous restrictions on the structure of modelling uncertainties can be considerably relaxed in the case of output regulation. The significance of out result is illuminated through a simple example.

The operation rules to remarshaling works in yard is very important in automated container terminal (ACT). However, the decision rules for conventional container terminals have some restrictions to be applied to ACT whose block layout Is vortical for berth. The objective of this study is to propose the efficient operations rules for remarshaling works of automated transfer crane (ATC) in ACTs. Then, the various operation rules are simulated to verify the proposed operation rules. The results of the simulation study on various rules are provided and discussed.

The evaluation of the Fuzzy Expected Value (FEV) as a typical value requires complete knowledge about the domain of the evaluation, and the distribution of the population in that domain [1]. Since in many situations it is not possible to gather complete knowledge regarding the domain, it is necessary to relax some of the restrictions involving the evaluation of FEV. In this paper we discuss solutions to this problem by using the concept of the Fuzzy Expected Interval (FEI).

This study investigates the literatures of leisure function and resource of the elderly to consider deeply the meaning of their leisure. In conclusion, this study presents the leisure of the elderly has both of positive and negative functions individually, socially and economically and they have the resources of individual, human and social as the usable resources for leisure but each of resources has disturbing restrictions. On the actual condition of elderly's leisure activity, they enjoy negatively like a watching TV and the using rate of leisure facilities is lower than other age groups.

Implementing the linguistic theories on computer, we resolve the problems for restrictions of computer and increase processing efficiency for systemization not for linguistic theory itself. Thus, we modify the grammatical theory to be applied to systems. This paper reports the various problems about constructing dictionaies, defining rules, and appling universal principles and metarules, which is caused to implement the systems based on GPSG. In semantic interpretations, logical expressions which correspond Montague grammar are acquired, and we make a rule connect with several logical expressions. And we show the efficiency of the this method through implementing parser.

Due to the low loss, broadband and accurate short time delay properties of optical fiber, it has attracted as a delay medium for high speed and broad-band signal processing. In this paper, we consider the coherent optical fiber filter of IIR lattice structure, which uses coherent light sources and consists of directional couplers whose coupling coefficients are restricted between 0 and 1. Considering restrictions of directional coupler, the design formulae and condition for realibility of optical fiber filter of IIR lattice structure which makes the optimal use of optical signal energy are derived.
