노후 경사주거지 쇠퇴지표로서의 유휴공간 발생패턴 연구 (A Study on the Occurrence Pattern of Vacant Spaces as the Decline Index in Old Hillside Residential Area)

  • This study is about occurrence pattern of vacant spaces as a urban decline indicator to consider a decline of old hillside residential area from spatial structure perspective. For investigation based upon vacant space and the street structure, this study selects Ami Chojang-dong in Seo-gu, Busan, of which 79.7% of total area is over a gradient of $10^{\circ}$. Focused on relationship between occurrence pattern of vacant spaces and 'vertical alleys(link)' serving as main movement path of local residents in hillside residential area, the length, numbers, slopes, and use characteristic of vertical alleys were analyzed using Arc GIS 9.3 program to classify characteristic zone types of spacial structure in hillside residential area. After the occurrence pattern of vacant space are interpreted in relation with building density, vertical alleys' number length slope, the social and economic issues have been considered as well. After analyzing the occurrence pattern of vacant space, this study argues that the occurrence pattern of vacant space in old hillside residential area is rather affected by street structure system consisting of vertical alleys than the impacts of social economical issues.

  • This study has the purpose to reveal the differences of residents' using behaviors and patterns of living facilities at new 3 residential areas in the middle-sized city. The 3 residential areas had differentiated development concepts; (1) residential area in the downtown, (2) government-residence compound area in the downtown, and (3) industry-residence compound area in the outskirts. Followings are the results of the study. 1) The shopping facilities, banking facilities, public open facilities with high using level are planned in proper places. 2) The using pattern of shopping facilities show a improper pattern. Therefore it is necessary to plan the shopping facilities to induce the resident to change the proper using pattern.

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the residential needs of family types and to suggest the basic documents for the apartments remodeling, which can be through the actual survey of residential living of old apartments. Generally, they have the residential living pattern according to the family types and the residential space types and it has an effect on the confrontation structure of residential living and residential space. Finally, through the analysis on the confrontation structure of residential living and residential space according to the family types and residential space, we found the residential needs and the family types and the applicable family types and there is some difference the residential needs according to the family types, but no difference according to the entrance types.

  • With today's global environmental and energy problems, high expectations exist for solar power generation to reduce carbon dioxide generated by the consumption of fossil fuels. On the other hand, power consumption in residential homes is increasing every year. Among the many household appliances, the power demand for air conditioners increases dramatically during the summer, particularly in the afternoons. As this pattern closely matches the output pattern of solar cells, it should be possible to combine a photovoltaic array with an air conditioner to decrease the energy consumption within the home. We have developed a residential solar-powered air conditioner that operates through a combination of photovoltaic array and commercial power. In this paper, the configuration and specification of the residential solar-powered system are described to a novel high efficiency inverter using a ZVCS boost converter. And the performance evaluations of the solar-powered air conditioner are examined by the analysis of a new tracking controller with a maximum power $P_{max}$ detection of solar cell.

마을형 단독주택지의 물리적 특성과 주거만족도에 관한 연구 -대구광역시 단독주택지를 중심으로- (A Study on the Physical Characteristics and Residential Satisfaction of the Small Urban Village Consist of Detached Houses)

  • The purpose of this study is to analysis the environmental characteristics in the small urban village consist of the detached houses. Three detached houses with the different urban structure and physical characteristics are selected, we survey the physical characteristics and investigate the residential satisfaction. As a result of the study, (1) A loop street pattern is more desirable for a community than a grid pattern, (2) The wall of the residential boundary makes residents get the sense of territory and community, and it facilitates no wall or tree fence of the each detached house. (3) The community spaces have an effect up on the sense of community. (4) It is desirable that the residents participate in a management of the detached housing area.

시설원예의 입지유형 분석 (Analysis of Location Patterns for Protected Horticulture)

  • Location patterns of protected horticulture were analyzed using a multiple correspondence analysis(MCA). The analysis could be used in evaluating location suitability of protected horticulture. The location factors of the protected horticulture for MCA include land category, size of protected horticulture, land slope, topography, effictive soil depth, irrigation and drainage condition, distance from roads, and so forth. The results showed that there were three different location patterns of protected horticulture. The first pattern was characterized by their nearness to villages. The facilities of this pattern were mainly located near to residential area. The second pattern was of those found in plain area. The facilities of this pattern were large in scale and located in paddy field far from residential area. The facilities of the last pattern were small in scale and located on nonpaddy fields. They were mostly found in hilly or mountainous area.

연령층별로 본 대구시 주거지 입지 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Residential Location by Age Groupings in Daegu Metropolitan)

  • The object of this study is to analyze the influential factors of characteristics of residential locations by age, and to offer a groundwork that can be utilized to direct setting of residential development and housing policies. The main findings are drawn as follows: First, it determines the age groupings which can describe the distribution pattern of residential location, which is broken down into two social subgroups - the older group aged 50 and over, and the younger group, being our educational target. Second, actuality of our education is to influence residential location. Third, four groups that can describe residential location are abstracted. Fourth, the prime of manhood and old age prime of life have been superior within inner zone, while middle age and those who are obliged to support the older group have been superior around the outer zone.

  • Recently, people's attitude toward residential environment has been changed from a simple shelter to a place affecting their mental function, and the change has increased demand for high quality of residential environment. Nevertheless, a number of unsatisfactory elements that do not meet the demand of residents for residential environment have continuously caused them to be exposed to stress. The purpose of this study is to explore the importance of residential environment by examining stress factors from the residential environment and finding out the effects of the residential environment stress on human emotional intelligence quotient and its application pattern. This study was carried out using not only self-report questionnaires with the Likert 5-point scale to find out the origin of residential environment stress factors, but the emotional intelligence quotient measuring device developed by Wong & Low (2000) to analyse correlations between the residential environment stress and emotional intelligence quotient. The questionnaire survey in this study was carried our among students of D College, and data were analysed using the statistical program SPSS, version 14.0.

A Study on the Direction of Smart Furniture by Changes in Ubiquitous Technology-Based Residential Environment

  • This study is intended to forecast changes in Ubiquitous technology-based residential environment since the digital revolution so as to suggest the direction of furniture design in the near future. Among Ubiquitous technologies, the intelligent digital technology applied to a residential environment is defined as "Smart Digital Technology." Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy named the residential environment where such technology is applied "Smart Home." Smart Home is strategically creating intelligent residential environment where interactivity is made between human, furniture and residential environment, based on home automation, home network and intelligent sensor technology. Smart furniture is based on strategic characteristics of smart home. Its convergence with IT equipments is being made. Largely, smart furniture has three characteristics as below: First, smart furniture provides users with information on home management, health management, education and fashion. not just functioning as storage space. Second, smart furniture that is a new lifestyle pattern will suggest a new aesthetic standard based on unsettled shapes and innovative structure. Finally, it gives convenience to users intelligently. Namely, smart furniture, "intelligent informative furniture", will be suggested as a new paradigm.

서울시 제2종일반주거지역 내 상업기능주택의 배치와 기능적 특성 - 석촌, 양재, 둔촌, 사가정 사례 분석 - (Distribution Pattern and Functional Characteristics of Shop-house in the 2nd Class General Residential Zone in Seoul - A Case Study of Seokchon, Yangjae, Dunchon, and Sagajeong Districts -)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out distributional principles of the shop-houses in residential district through physical composition of residential area. Through the research that are based on literature and field survey, it analysed the relation between physical composition of residential area and the shop-houses of selected four sites under similar urban condition where land readjustment project were held. The consequences of this study are summarized as follows; 1) A road that is not penetrating the inside a residential area is seemed to have low occupancy of shops comparing to other roads with similar hierarchy. And the shops functions as convenience facilities. It can be inferred from the statement above that even a road with higher hierarchy is not easy to form commercial area if without penetrating the residential area. 2) According to the size and the arranged method of Inner blocks of residential area towards major roads, distribution of shop-houses appear to be different. In other words, when shop-houses are located along the roads, the proportion of shop was higher than when located perpendicular to the roads. 3) When the number of average lots are little and the size of block is small, usually, street ratio and the number of corners gets higher, which eventually increases the number of shop-houses.
