Two species of Tortanus (Eutortanus) are newly recorded from shallow Korean waters: T. (E.) vermiculus Shen, 1955 and T. (E.) komachi Itoh, Ohtsuka and Sato, 2001. As a result of this study, five species are reported in the subgenus of the family Tortanidae in Korea. The sequence of cytochrome c oxidase subunit 1 (CO1) is also provided as a molecular characteristic.

In the previous study, the composition ratios of the Cu-sulfa drugs complexes determined by gravimetric and solvent extraction method reported. In this paper, the continuous variations method has been used to know whether the complexes are simple complexes or chelates, and to recertify the composition ratios of the complexes at pH 7-8. It has been certified that the ratio of $Cu^{+2}$ ion to sulfa drugs in 1:2 from the result of this experiment.

Self-propagating High-temperature Synthesised (SHS) ceramics have been widely used for various electronic applications. The investigation on SHS materials has been reported. The purposes of this study were as follows: fabricating the high-temperature functional materials, and evaluating crystal structure and electrical properties. The regularities and peculiarities in SHS structures of high-temperature materials as a result of the molecular interactions during burning process are considered.

The present study was conducted to investigate the difference of cortical activation in naming the picture in Korean and English. Experimental design was 2(Korean, English) language condition x 4(no distractor, semantic related distractor, semantic unrelated distrator, corresponding distractor) distractor condition. language condition was between subject factor and distractor condition was within subject factor. The result was that Korean naming condition showed less cortical activation than English naming condition. The activation region was reported in each condition.

As a result of recent taxonomic study on shrimps collected from Korean waters, one species of the alpheid shrimp turned out to belong to the genus Salmoneus unreported from Korea. Salmoneus gracilipes is redescribed and reported for the first time from Korea.

As a result of recent taxonomic study on shrimps collected from Korean waters, one species turned out to belong to the family Stylodactylidae unreported from Korea. Parastyrodactylus bimuxillaris is redescribed and reported for the first time from Korea.

As a result of continuous taxonomic study on crabs, Clistocoeloma villosum (A. Milne-Edwards, 1869) is newly reported from Korean waters. C. villosum has no epibranchial tooth on the carapace, while C. merguiense De Man, 1888, only recorded species of this genus in Korean fauna, has two epibranchial teeth. The description and illustrations of C. villosum are provided herein. Korean Sesarmid crabs now consist of 10 species belonging to six genera.

Seventeen caprellid species are reported from adjacent waters, of the Goheung Peninsula, Jeollanam-do in June, 2008. Among them Paracaprella crassa Mayer, 1903 is newly added to the Korean fauna. We described this species with illustrations and mentioned some differences from the original description and subsequent redescriptions. As a result, Korean caprellid fauna consists of 34 species in 6 genera.

The ophiuroids collected from 13 localities in the vicinity of Cheiu Island during the period from July, 1965 to October, 1991 were observed for the systematic study on the basis of external features. As a result 26 species belonging to 11 families and 2 orders were identified, of which 5 species are neurly reported in Korean fauna and 6ey are as follows: Ophiomyxa austrolis, Ophioccnfho leuispino, Ophiactis dyscrita, Ophiocentws uenicillotus, Ophiorochnella infemolis. The ophiuroids distributed so far in Cheiu Island turned out to be 30 species.

From the result of this study for the materials collected in Mt. Changbai-shan, six species of the family Noctuidae, Pangrapta marmorata Staudinger, P. griseola Staudinger, Ctenostola sparganoides (Bang-Haas), Cucullia amota Alpheraky, Xestia albonigra (Kononenko), and X. speciosa $(H\ddot{u}bner)$, are reported for the first time from China.
