Recently, there is still vulnerability of attack, such as location tracking attack, replay attack, spoofing attack etc for all that is much research for Mobile RFID authentication. This paper designed method of making one time random number in DB server side unlike previously researched protocols, and it protects RFID communication from location tracking, replay attack and spoofing attack.
In this paper, we first propose the security enhancing of authentication protocol for Hash based RFID tag, and then a digital Codec for RFID tag is designed based on the proposed authentication protocol. The protocol is based on a three-way challenge response authentication protocol between the tags and a back-end server. In order to realize a secure cryptographic authentication mechanism, we modify three types of the protocol packets which defined in the ISO/IEC 18000-3 standard. Thus active attacks such as the Man-in-the-middle and Replay attacks can be easily protected. In order to verify effectiveness of the proposed protocol, a digital Codec for RFID tag is designed using Verilog HDL, and also synthesized using Synopsys Design Compiler with Hynix $0.25\;{\mu}m$ standard-cell library. Through security analysis and comparison result, we will show that the proposed scheme has better performance in user data confidentiality, tag anonymity, Man-in-the-middle attack prevention, replay attack, forgery resistance and location tracking.
Due to the resource limitations of sensor nodes, providing a security protocol is a particular challenge in sensor networks. One popular method is the neighborhood-based key agreement protocol (NEKAP). NEKAP is an efficient and lightweight protocol, but it includes loopholes through which adversaries may launch replay attacks by successfully masquerading as legitimate nodes. In this paper, we present a modified security protocol for wireless sensor networks. We provide four types of keys for each node, which adapt to different security requirements; and an improvement is made to alleviate the replay attack. According to our qualitative performance analyses, the proposed security protocol provides effectiveness in terms of authentication security, attacking node detection, and replay attack resilience when compared to the conventional method.

Spoofing attacks, especially replay attacks, pose great security challenges to automatic speaker verification (ASV) systems. Current works on replay attacks detection primarily focused on either developing new features or improving classifier performance, ignoring the effects of feature variability, e.g., the channel variability. In this paper, we first establish a mathematical model for replay speech and introduce a method for eliminating the negative interference of the channel. Then a novel feature is proposed to detect the replay attacks. To further boost the detection performance, four post-processing methods using normalization techniques are investigated. We evaluate our proposed method on the ASVspoof 2017 dataset. The experimental results show that our approach outperforms the competing methods in terms of detection accuracy. More interestingly, we find that the proposed normalization strategy could also improve the performance of the existing algorithms.

The RFID system is a non-contact automatic identification system that identifies tags through a reading device by attaching small, inexpensive tags on goods. This system is expected to supplant barcodes, the contactless reading technique that is most widely used at present. The RFID system can be applied in a variety of areas. Among those, Ari Juels proposed an environment to prove that a pair of tags has been scanned simultaneously And he presented a yoking proof protocol for this. But the yoking-proof protocol is vulnerable to replay attack. Although modified yoking-proof protocols for alleviating this drawback have been proposed, they are not immune to replay attack, either. In this paper, we analyze problems of existing yoking-proof protocols and present a new protocol, which will make replay attack difficult, based on this analysis. We have also extend this protocol so that it can provide yoking proofs for n tags.

Smart-phone Applications are consists of UI(User Interface). During using applications, UI events such as button click and scroll down are transmitted to Smart-phone system with many changes of UI. In these UI events, various information including user-input data are also involved. While Keylogging, which is a well-known user-input data acquisition technique, is needed a restrictive condition like rooting to obtain the user-input data in android environment, UI events have advantage which can be easily accessible to user-input data on user privileges. Although security solutions based keypad in several applications are applied, we demonstrate that these were exposed to vulnerability of application security and could be obtained user-input data using UI events regardless of presence of any security system. In this paper, we show the security threats related information disclosure using UI events and suggest the alternative countermeasures by showing the replay-attack example based scenarios.
In this paper, we analyze security weakness of 4-Way Handshake in IEEE 802.11i and propose fast and secure 2-Way Handshake mechanism. Compute PTK(Pairwise Transient Key) using sequence number instead of random numbers in order to protect Replay attack and DoS attack. Also, proposed 2-Way Handshake mechanism can mutual authenticate between mobile station and access point and derive PTK using modified Re-association Request and Re-association Response frames. And, compare with others which are fast and secure Handoff mechanisms.
Recently, Jaiswal et al. proposed a protocol to improve the multi-agent negotiation test-bed which was proposed by Collins et al. Using publish/subscribe system, time-release cryptography and anonymous communication, their protocol gives an improvement on the old one. However, it is shown that the protocol also has some security weaknesses: such as replay data attack and DOS (denial-of-service) attack, anonymity disclosure, collusion between customers and a certain supplier. So proposed protocol reduces DOS attack and avoids replay data attack by providing ticket token and deal sequence number to the supplier. And it is proved that the way that market generates random number to the supplier is better than the supplier do by himself in guaranteeing anonymity. Market publishes interpolating polynomial for sharing the determination process data. It avoids collusion between customer and a certain supplie

Without a proper protection mechanism for the signaling messages to be used for the mobility support in the Proxy Mobile IPv6 (PMIPv6), it is also vulnerable to several security attacks such as redirect attack, MITM (Man-In-The-Middle) attack, replay attack and DoS (Denial of Service) attack as in Mobile IPv6. In this paper, we point out some problems of previous authentication mechanisms associated with PMIPv6, and also propose a new fast and secure authentication mechanism applicable to PMIPv6. In addition, it is also shown that the proposed one is more efficient and secure than the previous ones.

Cloud computing has evolved significantly, intending to provide users with fast, dependable, and low-cost services. With its development, malicious users have become increasingly capable of attacking both its internal and external security. To ensure the security of cloud services, encryption, authorization, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems have been employed. However, these single monitoring agents, are complex, time-consuming, and they do not detect ransomware and zero-day vulnerabilities on their own. An innovative Record and Replay-based hybrid Honeynet (R2NET) system has been developed to address this issue. Combining honeynet with Record and Replay (RR) technology, the system allows fine-grained analysis by delaying time-consuming analysis to the replay step. In addition, a machine learning algorithm is utilized to cluster the logs of attackers and store them in a database. So, the accessing time for analyzing the attack may be reduced which in turn increases the efficiency of the proposed framework. The R2NET framework is compared with existing methods such as EEHH net, HoneyDoc, Honeynet system, and AHDS. The proposed system achieves 7.60%, 9.78%%, 18.47%, and 31.52% more accuracy than EEHH net, HoneyDoc, Honeynet system, and AHDS methods.
