7Hz 진동자극 운동이 정상 성인의 다리 근육과 힘줄의 두께에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Leg Muscles and Tendon Thickness on 7Hz Vibration Exercise Application in the Normal Adult)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of 7Hz vibration on the thickness of the rectus femoris, medial femur, rectus femoris tendon, and Achilles tendon. Methods: The statistical methods before and after working around the average value of each of the legs included repeated measures ANOVA. The subjects were 26 males residing in the N area, and we measured the change in muscle thickness and tendon thickness before, four weeks, and eight weeks after the experiment in two groups of 13 subjects each. The analysis method was a two-way repeated measurement variance analysis (ANOVA) with a significance level of 0.05 Results: The rectus femoris, medial broad muscle, rectus femur, and Achilles tendon showed significant increases in the interaction between the periods as well as between the periods and groups (p < 0.05). Conclusion: As a result of this study, the 7Hz vibration had a positive effect on the thickness of the rectus femoris and the vastus medialis muscle as well as the thickness of the rectus femoris tendon and Achilles tendon. It is expected to be used as basic data for vibrational exercises in the future studies and is expected to be used as an exercise to strengthen the leg muscles and tendons.

압전효과를 이용한 압인방식의 휴대용 피부탄력 측정장치 (A Portable Skin Elasticity Measuring Device Based on Indentation Method Using Piezoelectric Effect)

  • In this paper, we proposed and developed a new portable skin elasticity measuring device based on the indentation method using piezoelectric effect. The proposed device is designed to minimize the uncertainty caused by the layer structure of the skin when measuring the elasticity of the skin. And, we developed a piezoelectric-based thin-film pressure sensor that can measure quantitatively and quickly during repeated measurement as a device sensor. To confirm the effectiveness of the proposed measuring device, it was compared with the experimental results of the conventional measuring devices under the same experimental conditions, and statistical correlation analysis was performed between the experimental data of the proposed measuring device and the experimental data of the conventional measuring devices. As a result of the correlation analysis, it was confirmed that the proposed measuring device had a high correlation with the conventional measuring devices. Therefore, it was confirmed that the proposed skin elasticity measuring device was effective.

흉요추부의 표재열 및 심부열 적용이 H 반사의 변화에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Superficial Heat and Deep Heat for Lumbo-sacral Segment on H-Reflex)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate influence of superficial heat and deep heat for lumbo-sacral segment on H-reflex. Methods: Subjects of this research were 12 normal men and women (6 men and 6 women) and they were assigned to superficial heat group (6) and deep heat group (6). Heat treatment was applied between Th12-L2 by placing them at prone posture. superficial heat was applied for 20 min at 30 cm height with infrared lamp. Deep heat was applied for 20 mm at 5 cm height with 100 watt of microwave diathermy. H-reflex used diagnostic electromyography, active electrode was placed at muscle belly of medial gastrocnemius muscle at prone posture and electrical stimulation was given to posterior tibial nerve. Measurement was made before and after experiment and 10 min. and 20 min. after experiment. All data were analyzed with window 12.0 program, comparison of differences among measured items of groups according to repeated measurement was made with repeated measures ANOVA and significance level a was 0.05. Results: M latency at latency analysis showed little changes at two groups. H latency was reduced a little immediately after experiment and recovered to original state, there was significant difference. In analysis of amplitude, Mmax amplitude showed rise a little immediately after.

청년과 노인 연령군에 따른 척주세움근에 대한 마이오톤의 측정자 간, 측정자 내 신뢰도 (Inter-and Intra-rater Reliabilities of Myotonometric Measurement of the Erector Spinae Muscles in the Young and Old Age Groups)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study is to examine inter-and intra-rater reliabilities of myotonometric measurements of tone, elasticity and stiffness for the erector spinae muscles of the young and the elderly populations. Methods : A total of 102 (69 young adults from K university and 33 older adults from the D community center in Daejeon) were enrolled in this study. The two different raters measured each side of the erector spinae muscles at prone position. After each rater performed first measurement for a subject, 30 minutes of rest was given. The same rater then repeated the second myometric measurement on the subject. The collected data on the tone, elasticity, and stiffness of the erector spinae were analyzed using intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) to determine inter- and intra- rater reliabilities. Results : The inter-and intra-rater reliabilities of the myotonometric measurement of the erector spinae for the total subjects were excellent (ICC > 0.9, p < 0.001). Within each of the elderly group and the young group, inter- and intra-rater reliabilities were also excellent (ICC > 0.8~0.9 / p < 0.001, ICC > 0.75~0.9 / p < 0.001, each). Conclusion : The measurement of muscle tone, elasticity, and stiffness for the erector spinae muscles using the myotonometer had excellent reliability. It was confirmed that a highly reliable myometric measurement on the erector spinae can be obtained regardless of whether it is from young or elderly people. This suggests that the myotonometer can be a useful tool to measure muscular properties of the erector spinae of the young and old as an evaluative instrument.

스프링형과 마찰형 기계식 임플란트 토크 렌치의 정확도에 관한 연구 (Accuracy of spring-style and friction-style mechanical implant torque wrench)

  • 목적: 본 연구의 목적은 두 가지(스프링형, 마찰형) 종류의 기계식 임플란트 토크 렌치를 2000회의 반복 사용과 100회의 멸균과정 후 그들의 정확도를 평가하는 것이다. 재료 및 방법: 각기 다른 5개 제조사의 스프링형, 마찰형 기계식 임플란트 토크 렌치가 각 15개씩, 총 30개 사용되었다. 디지털 토크 측정기(MGT-12, Mark-10 Corp, USA)를 이용하여 토크값을 실험 전 최초 측정 후 각 토크 렌치를 같은 조건(목표 토크 값까지 20회씩 반복 사용 후 멸균봉투에 포장하여 고압증기 멸균 시행)으로 100회 반복 시행하였다. 그 후 다시 토크값을 측정하여 비교하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 통계분석 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였고 오차율을 계산하였다. Mann-Whitney-U test를 이용하여 실험군 사이의 유의성을 분석하였다(P<.05). 결과: 스프링형 토크 렌치는 실험 전후로 토크값의 유의할만한 차이를 보이지 않았다(P>.05). 반면에 마찰형 토크 렌치는 실험 전후로 토크값의 유의할만한 차이를 나타내었으며(P<.05), 10% 이상의 오차율이 모두 마찰형 토크 렌치에서 나타났다. 결론: 본 연구의 제한된 실험 조건하에서 스프링형 토크 렌치가 마찰형 토크 렌치보다 사용횟수와 멸균과정을 고려했을 때 더욱 신뢰성이 높은 정확도를 보였다.

  • 비선형 혼합효과 모형은 다양한 분야에서 반복 측정 자료를 분석할 때 주로 사용된다. 비선형 혼합효과 모형은 개체 내 변동(intra-individual variation)에 대해 고려하는 제 1단계 개별수준모델(individual-level model)과 개체간 변동(inter-individual variation)에 대해 고려하는 제 2단계 개체군모델(population model)의 두 단계로 구성되어 있다. 비선형 혼합효과 모형의 첫 번째 단계인 개별수준모델은 비선형 회귀모형의 모수를 추정하는 것으로 일반적인 비선형 회귀모형과 같고, 주로 보통최소제곱추정 방법을 사용하여 모수를 추정한다. 그러나 최소제곱추정방법은 가정된 비선형 함수가 자료에 의해 명시적으로 드러나지 않는 경우 모수의 추정값과 그 표준오차가 극단적으로 커지는 문제가 발생할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 최근에 비선형 회귀모형에서 제안된 능형회귀(ridge regression) 방법을 비선형 혼합효과 모형의 제 1단계 개별수준모델에 도입함으로써 이러한 문제를 해결할 수 있는 새로운 추정방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 추정량은 모의실험 연구를 통하여 기존의 표준적인 추정량과 그 성능을 비교하였다. 또한 미국의 National Toxicology Program으로부터 얻어진 정량적 대량고속 스크리닝(quantitative high throughput screening) 실제 자료를 사용하여 추정 방법들을 비교하였다.

초오 추출물의 Sprague-Dawley 랫드를 이용한 28일 반복 경구투여독성시험 (A Repeated-dose 28-Day Oral Toxicity Test of Aconitum jaluense Extract in Sprague-Dawley Rats)

  • A 28-day repeated-dose oral toxicity test was performed to determine the no-observed-effect level (NOEL) and establish an optimum dose of the highly toxic Aconiti Ciliare Tuber (ACT) used as a folk remedy. Repeated oral doses of 1,250, 2,500, and 5,000 mg/kg/day of the hot water extract of ACT were administered to five male and five female Sprague-Dawley rats in each group for 4 weeks. The indicators for toxicity included results of examination of common symptoms and changes in weight and feed intake, eye test, urinalysis, hematological and serum biochemical analyses, and post-mortem weight measurement of organs, and visual inspections. All animals survived at the end of the experiment; in addition, we observed no specific test substance-mediated symptoms. We observed no test substance-mediated changes in body weight and feed intake. We observed statistically significant changes in male OB and pH levels (p<0.05). Further, the biochemical test showed statistically significant changes in the IP value of male rats and $CL^-$valueoffemalerats (p<0.05). However, all changes were within historical data. The post-mortem examinations showed no test substance-mediated changes. Moreover, statistically significant changes under the test conditions were confirmed to have been caused by factors other than the test substance. Thus, the maximum NOEL of ACT extract in rats was estimated to be 5,000 mg/kg/day.

Reliability Study of Measuring Range of Motion Glenohumeral Joint Internal Rotation With Pressure Biofeedback Stabilization

  • The aims of the current study were to assess reliability of range of motion (ROM) measurement of glenohumeral internal rotation (GIR) with a pressure biofeedback stabilization (PBS) method and to compare the reliability between manual stabilization (MS) and the PBS method. In measurement of pure glenohumeral joint motion, scapular stabilization is necessary. The MS method in GIR ROM measurement was used to restrict scapular motion by pressing the palm of the tester's hand over the subject's clavicle, coracoid process, and humeral head. The PBS method was devised to maintain consistent pressure for scapular stabilization during GIR ROM measurement by using a pressure biofeedback unit. GIR ROM was measured by 2 different stabilization methods in 32 subjects with GIR deficit using a smartphone clinometer application. Repeated measurements were performed in two test sessions by two testers to confirm inter- and intra-rater reliability. After tester A performed measurements in test session 1, tester B's measurements were conducted one hour later on the same day to assess the inter-rater reliability and then tester A performed again measurements in test session 2 for confirming the intra-rater reliability. Intra-class correlation coefficient (ICC) (2,1) was applied to assess the inter-rater reliability and ICC (3,1) was applied to determine the intra-rater reliability of the two methods. In the PBS method, the intra-rater reliability was excellent (ICC=.91) and the inter-rater reliability was good (ICC=.84). The inter-rater and intra-rater reliability of the PBS method was higher than in the MS method. The PBS method could regulate manual scapular stabilization pressure in inter- and intra-rater measuring GIR ROM. Results of the current study recommend that the PBS method can provide reliable measurement data on GIR ROM.

간호조직에서의 리더십에 관한 논문 고찰 (A Review of Studies on Leadership in Nursing Organization)

  • Purpose: The objective of this literature review study was to identify patterns and trends of studies on leadership among nurse managers in nursing organization and suggest the direction of future researches. Methods: Research Studies on the leadership were selected from thesis and related journals, which had been conducted from 1975 to 2006.5. Search Terminologies were used "leadership". The Total number of the collected studies were 69. Results: The number of studies on leadership has been increased rapidly since 1990's. In research design, Quantitative studies were 68 except for a Qualitative study. Correlation research were 45(65.2%) among quantitative studies. Conceptual frameworks, research questions and hypotheses were involved 31.9%, 98.6%, 31.9%. In subject, General nurse is 46.4%, Head nurse and General nurse was 23.2% and Head nurse is 2.9%. All the studies used questionnaire in data collection method. Measurement tools were used 50% for Bass' MLQ(MLQ-5X). For the statistical analysis, Correlation, ANOVA, t-test were used for 20.3%, 17.4%, 10.5% respectively. The number of leadership related variables were work-related, organization-related, personal recognition or attitude, empowerment, personality. The sub-variables were used for 31 Job satisfaction. Further studies were suggested the develop of leadership program, measurement for the effect of leadership, repeated studies on leadership, the development of measurement about leadership. Conclusion: These results will be used to provide the basic data for developing leadership theory on nursing organization.

정상아와 비만아의 활보장과 분속수의 차이 (The Differences of Stride Length and Cadence between Normal and Obese Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine whether the biomechanical variables of the walking patterns of the obese children compared with those of normal children would revealing significant differences. Normal(N=25) and obese(N=19) subjects were screened based on a health record which was examined to eliminate any subjects who had any pathological condition related to their gait. Data for a minimum of 5 repeated walking trials were collected using a stop watch and a tape measure. Basic kinematic analyses yielded data based on the following variables : stride length divided by leg length, and cadence divided by leg length. This measurement data was classified by the Obesity Index calculated from by height, weight data. Results showed no significant difference among normal, obese and subjects(p>.05). Difficulties in formulating the experimental condition and poor equipment quality are thought to be reason for the inconclusive results. Future studies might include medical complications such as tibia vara, genu valgum, other diseases caused by obesity.
