Inc., Wheeling, USA) and Lucitone 199(Dentsply International Inc., York, USA). And the rebase resins were Repair Acrylic(Lang Dental Mfg. Co. Inc., Wheeling USA). Toughron Rebase(Miki Chemical Product Co. Ltd., Japan) , Tokuso Rebase(Tokuyama Soda. Co. Ltd., Japan) and Triad VLC Reline Material(Dentsply International Inc., York, USA). The obtained results were as follows : 1. The bond strength of Repair Acrylic to Premium Super-20, and that of Toughron Rebase to Lucitone 199 were the highest. 2. In Premium Super-20 and Lucitone 199, bond strength of all rebase resins had significant differences. 3. The bond strength of Triad VLC Reline Material was inclined to the lowset.

  • In this study, a numerical analysis that can effectively predict the effect of strengthening of cracked flexural members is developed using axial deformation link elements. Concrete and interface between concrete and repair material are considered as quasi-brittle material. Reinforcing bars and reinforcing steel plates are assumed to perform as elasto-plastic materials. Unloading behavior of axial deformation link element is implemented. In the developed numerical model, a flexural member is intentionally cracked by pre-loading, then, the cracked member is repaired using extra elements, and reloaded. The results from analysis of repaired flexural members agrees well with available experiment results. Also, it was shown that the effect of strengthening and the change of failure mode with respect to the time for strengthening and thickness of repair materials. Based on the results, it was determined that the developed numerical model has a good agreement for determining failure modes and effect of strengthening in cracked flexural members. By utilizing the developed numerical analysis, the time and dimension of external strengthening in an existing cracked flexural member with predition of failure mechanism can be determined.

  • To provide more safe road and better travelling service for Expressway customer, we minimize settlement of bridge backfill and properly repair the occurred settlement. So, we devide this study to two parts one is construction part and the other is management part, in construction part we remove settlement occuring elements and in management part we grasp proper repair time, and then we produce general settlement management program. In construction part, for the purpose of developing construction method of reducing settlement, we developed construction method models and they are composed of abutment back section alteration and backfill material alteration by literature reviews and site investigation of backfill settlement. And then, we carried out laboratory model test and full size field test of some developed models.

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate a performance of latex-modified repair material applied to the substrate concrete. The experimental variables were latex-cement ratios (5, 10, 15%), polymer(0.5%, 1%) and admixtures. The flow, air content, compressive strength, flexural strength were tested. Test results showed that compressive and flexural strength decreased by adding hydroxyethyl cellulose and increasing water-binder ratio. The compressive and flexural strength were increased when addition of defoamer.

  • This paper is to investigate the strength, impact endurance and shrinkage of wet spraying type fiber composite mortar for repair material depending on fiber type and product kinds. Fiber composite mortar containing PVA fiber had the highest strength compared to that using any other fiber. Especially, The use of PVA fiber results in a remarkable enhancement in impact strength and an improved volumetric stability. Accordingly, it is confirmed that fiber composite mortar containing PVA fiber has remarkable performance as repair material of damaged section of concrete.

  • This study presented the analytical evaluation model effective in the concrete structure repaired with a patching material. The model considered the effect of the repair material on carbon dioxide penetration into the repaired concrete as evaluating the remaining service life of the CO2-deteriorated concrete structure after repair. The diffusion profiles of carbon dioxide as well as the carbonated concrete were effectively able to be modelled with analytical method based on Fick's 1st diffusion law.

  • The photodepositioned tungsten film by laser CVD has been carried out the taping test with scotch tape over 10 times. As a result, it exhibited strong adhesion to the under-film such as ITO and SiNx patterned on the LCD substrate. However, it was seriously attacked by alkaline solution used for removing polyimide. And a thickness of laser CVD tungsten film had a close relation to a speed of laser scanning. Also we have improved the success rate of a laser CVD repair with making two pairs of contact hole structure and decreasing laser scanning speed.

  • Recently, a large fire has occurred through a dry bit, which is a flammable exterior material, in Daebong Green Apartment Fire in Uijeongbu in 2015 and Jecheon Sports Center Fire in 2017. In this study, KS F ISO 5660-1 Cone calorimeter experiment was used to examine the fire risk of dry bit. Also, the performance of the repair and reinforcement materials to prevent fire expansion was examined. As a result, the dry bit is likely to be ignited by internal and external flower gardens, and its combustion rate and calorific value are very high. In addition, the performance of heat resistance such as ALC panel and ceramic board as a repair and reinforcement material has been proved. However, the insulation is expected to require further consideration.

  • One of the most important characteristics of Engineered Cementitious Composite (ECC) is its strain hardening behavior up to $5\∼6\%$of stain under a tensile loading. So, the ductile behavior of ECC should be utilized in applications to maximize the performance of structures. Thus, in this study, the ductile behavior of ECC as a repair material applied to the tensile region under flexural loads is numerically examined using a developed numerical model. Several strain capacities of ECC are examined to predict the behavior of ECC strengthened flexural structures. The results show that a certain optimal level of ductility in ECCs for repair applications exists and it is an important factor to consider when using ECC as a repairing material.

  • The purpose of this study is to design the basic mix proportions of antiwashout underwater polymer cement mortar as a repair material. The antiwashout underwater polymer cement mortars are prepared with various mix proportions using three type polymer dispersions without or with antifoamer. From the test results, the whole antiwashout underwater polymer cement mortars can be cast underwater without segregation like plain mortar. It is apparent that the flexural strength of antiwashout underwater SBR cement mortars with antifoamer at polymer- cement ratios of 5% and 10% is higher than that of plain mortar irregardless of a little low compressive strength.
