균열 보수용 폴리머 시멘트 복합체의 휨접착강도에 관한 연구 (Exploring the Flexural Bond Strength of Polymer-Cement Composition in Crack Repair Applications)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 RC 구조물의 균열 보수용 폴리머 시멘트 복합체의 휨접착성능을 평가하기 위함이다. 시멘트 모르타르에 다양한 크기의 균열을 만들어 PCCs를 충전한 후, 소정의 양생을 거쳐 휨접착강도와 휨강도 개선 정도를 파악하였다. 연구결과, 균열보수용 PCCs의 휨접착강도는 시멘트의 종류, 폴리머 종류 및 폴리머 결합재비에 따라 영향을 받으며 실리카퓸을 혼입한 초조강시멘트를 사용한 경우가 보통시멘트를 사용한 경우에 비해 최대 19.0%의 휨접착강도 개선효과가 나타났다. PCCs로 충전된 시멘트 모르타르의 휨강도 개선 정도는 균열폭의 영향보다는 균열깊이에 따라 큰 차이를 보였으며 균열에 충전된 PCCs가 단순히 보수재료로서 기능뿐만 아니라 어느 정도 휨강도를 개선시키는 보강재료로서도 역할을 하였다. 본 연구결과, 초조강시멘트, 3종류의 폴리머 디스퍼전과 실리카퓸, 60%~80%의 높은 폴리머 결합재비로 제작한 PCCs가 균열을 충전하는 보수재료로서 현장에서 충분히 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

2방향 슬래브의 펀칭전단성능 향상을 위한 고성능 철근의 적용 (Application of High-Performance Steels to Enhance the Punching Shear Capacity of Two-Way Slabs)

  • 본 연구에서는, 철근 밀집 감소, 노무비 및 보수 보강비 절약, 향상된 부식 저항성, 공기 단축 등의 장점을 가지고 있는 고성능 철근으로 휨 보강된 이방향 슬래브를 제작하고 구조실험을 실시하였다. 상부 휨철근비, 기둥 인접부 휨철근의 집중배근, 강섬유 보강 콘크리트의 타설을 변수로 하여 실험하였고, 펀칭 전단강도 및 균열후 강성을 일반 철근 및 GFRP bar로 휨 보강된 슬래브의 펀칭 전단실험 결과와 비교하였다. 또한, 휨철근의 변형률 분포 및 균열제어 효과 등을 비교, 분석하였고, 휨철근비 계산을 위한 유효폭 산정 방법을 검토하였다. 고성능 철근의 사용으로 펀칭 전단강도가 향상되었고, 휨 철근량을 감소시킬 수 있었다. 기둥 인접부 휨철근의 집중배근을 통해 철근비의 감소 때문에 작아진 강성을 회복시킬 수 있었고, 훌륭한 변형률 분포 및 균열제어 효과를 나타내었다. 또한, 기둥 인접부에 대한 강섬유 보강 콘크리트의 타설은 펀칭 전단강도의 증가와 균열 제어에 탁월한 효과를 보였다. 휨철근비 산정을 위한 유효폭은 기둥면으로부터 슬래브 두께의 2배 이상으로 확대하는 것이 합리적이라 판단된다.

  • Since the mid of 1970's, the construction of infrastructure has been booming and accelerating to keep up with rapid economic growth. Fast achievement of most construction activities has caused unfavorable effects of civil petitions associated with damages and nuisances due to last hasty works. it is well known that the falling down of Sungsoo bridge and the collapse of Sampoong department and other structures have occurred because of the construction not conforming with the specification, and thereby incurred enormous loss of life and property. Now a days. a periodic inspection and maintenance have been strongly interested on aged RC structures, of repair and reinforcement technique in the country, most repairing and reinforcing works have been performed on the basis of the guidance of few experienced local company in this field.

Ultimate flexural and shear capacity of concrete beams with corroded reinforcement

  • Assessment of structural behaviour of corrosion affected structures is an important issue, which would help in making certain decisions pertaining to the inspection, repair, strengthening, replacement and demolition of such structures. The paper presents formulations to predict the loss of weight and the loss of cross-sectional area of the reinforcing bar undergoing corrosion based on the earlier study carried out by the present authors (Bhargava et al. 2006). These formulations have further been used to analytically evaluate the ultimate bending moment and ultimate shear force capacity of the corroded concrete beams. Results of the present study indicate that, a considerably good agreement has been observed between the experimental and the analytically predicted values for the weight loss and reduction in radius of the corroded reinforcing bars. A considerably good agreement has also been observed between the experimental and the analytically predicted values of ultimate bending moment and ultimate shear force capacity for the corroded concrete beams.

  • Recently, the area of design optimization, especially structural optimization, has been and to be a continuous active area of research. And the design optimizations of port facilities have been achieved by many other civil engineers. But the design optimization of port facilities were limited to the design optimization of the breasting dolphin. This paper invested the design optimization of mooring pier and the foundations of mooring pier was suggested considering the convenience of repair and reinforcement work. The mooring pier devised with prestressed precast concrete panel and rigid frame welded wide flange beam to steel pipe pile. To accomplish the design optimization of mooring pier, the Augmented Lagrangian Multiplier Method(ALM) of ADS(Garret N. Vanderplaats) optimization routine, BFGS method as optimizer and Golden Section Method as one dimensional search were utilized. As a result, thirty percent of material cost for construction was reduced by design optimization. The tensile stress of concrete panel and bottom flage was critical constraints under service load. So, using high strength concrete and steel will be economical. And lots of initial values must be invested to accomplish the design optimization in design procedures.

  • Several materials using polymer-portland-cement concrete have developed to have not only strength of attachment with body, but also waterproof function and strong anti-sodium chloride properties. Especially, in case of railway, unlike other public transportation, it is very difficult to doing the repair and reinforcement work of structure during service time. Therefore, the development and study of materials having characteristics of structural strength, unification behavior with body, and resistance of crack are very important. Accordingly, the characteristic of material of polymer based concrete is indicated compared with the experiment and analysis through this study, and suggested application to railway tunnel, bridge, and concrete track structure.

  • This paper reviews available techniques for monitoring corrosion of steel in concrete. The need for early detection and diagnosis of corrosion related deterioration in reinforced structures is widely acknowledged. This is particularly important in reinforced concrete structures on account of the economic and social significance of the problem. The current generally used on-site procedure for corrosion monitoring of reinforced structures employs a method of half-cell surface potential measurements. While the technique has provided a useful means of delineating areas of high or low corrosion risk, there are difficulties in its use and interpretation when assessing rates of deterioration. Electrochemical techniques are by far the most suitable for corrosion monitoring purpose and meet most of the requirements. The aim of this paper is to describe the electric resistance sensor(ER sensor) and electrochemical techniques employed to monitor and estimate corrosion rates of reinforcement. Early detection and diagnosis of corrosion hazards allows preventive measures to be taken, hence the typically expensive repair of severely deteriorated structures can be avoided.

성인에서 발생한 Morgagni 공 탈장 -1예 보고- (Foramen of Morgagni Hernia in Adult - Report of 1 Case -)

  • Foramen of Morgagni hernia is the least common type of all congenital diaphragmatic hernias. These foraminal hernias result from a congenital defect in the development or attachment of the diaphragm to the sternum and costal arch. They occur most commonly on the right side, possibly because of pericardial reinforcement of the left. In our case, occurred on the right side and the contents of the hernial sac were omental fat and a part of transverse colon. We performed transthoracic approach for reduction and repair of foraminal hernia with ligation and interrupted mattress sutures of the margin of the defected diaphragm to the posterior part of the sternum and costal cartilage. The postoperative course was uneventful except posttraumatic delirium and discharged at 21st postoperative day.

  • The analysis method of stabilizing process and its program regarding large spatial structural systems are described in this paper. In this paper, the analysis of stabilizing process of the example structures, namely Olympic Fencing Arena, is performed and the jacking force of stabilizing process is proposed, and the characteristics of structural behavior is investigated. This result of research is applied to the design and construction of the actual structures and the reliability of the analysis is verified through comparison of the analysis results and the measured results in the field. When the analytical results is compared with the actual structural behavior, there is a little difference, but it is thought that the analysis results are quite reliable because it is very similar to the measured values in spite of construction and measurement errors.

  • Various structural materials have been used in construction projects using stones, connotes, and steels materials. Among of these projects, concretes may use widely because concretes have high compressive strength, and comparatively easy maintenance and management. Reinforced concrete Buildings will be deteriorated as time passed. These problems will be accelerated by propagation of cracks. In order to manage such cracks, time, efforts and expense are required. In this study, leakages of fluorescence and adhesive material were investigated using glass sensors that were embedded in a model beam and column. In addition, currents in glass pipe sensor were observed to find leakage of liquid in glass pipes. Progressive cracks were generated by fracture of glass me sensor. In this investigation, a reinforcement clothing system was wrapped for a glass pipe sensor, The glass pipe sensor that can make control and reinforce cracks simultaneously.
