This study focuses on the interpretation and transformation of "The Great Learning" within the Korean new religion, Daesoon Jinrihoe. Joseon Dynasty Korea was a member of the Chinese Character Cultural Sphere in East Asia. The examination and recruitment system of the Yuan Dynasty influenced the Joseon Dynasty for a long historical period. Zhu Xi's (朱熹) version of The Four Books were accepted and applied in imperial examinations during the Joseon Dynasty. The 18th century Confucian thinker, Jeong Yak-Yong (丁若鏞), overturned and rebuilt his own system for studying and interpreting The Four Books (四書學). Zhu Xi and Jeong Yak-Yong's systems of thought influenced Confucianism knowledge in that era. The historical figure deified as the Supreme God by Daesoon Jinrihoe, Kang Jeungsan (姜甑山), was trained in the study of The Four Books within that cultural and philosophical context, and this is especially evident in his interpretation and transmission of "The Great Learning." Kang Jeungsan regarding The Great Learning as deeply important. That text combined Confucian discourse on Principle, Mind, and Practice. In his interpretation, The Great Learning was also a medical and religious book that had holy and mysterious powers. In Mugeuk-do and Taegeuk-do (direct predecessors to Daesoon Jinrihoe), Jo Jeongsan interpreted the concept of Sincerity and Regularizing the Mind and incorporated them into doctrine as 'Sincerity, Respectfulness, and Faithfulness' and 'Guarding against Self-deception.' Park Wudang practiced and spread those doctrines to Korea, and Daesoon Jinrihoe devotees continue to follow those doctrines in present times.

Pig production is one of the viable enterprises of the livestock sub-sector of agriculture. It contributes significantly to the economy and animal protein supply to enhance food security in Africa and globally. This article explored the present status of pig production in Africa, the challenges, prospects and potentials. The pig population of Africa represents 4.6% of the global pig population. They are widely distributed across Africa except in Northern Africa where pig production is not popular due to religio-cultural reasons. They are mostly reared in rural parts of Africa by smallholder farmers, informing why majority of the pig population in most parts of Africa are indigenous breeds and their crosses. Pig plays important roles in the sustenance of livelihood in the rural communities and have cultural and social significance. The pig production system in Africa is predominantly traditional, but rapidly growing and transforming into the modern system. The annual pork production in Africa has grown from less than a million tonnes in year 2000 to over 2 million tonnes in 2021. Incidence of disease outbreak, especially African swine fever is one of the main constraints affecting pig production in Africa. Others are lack of skills and technical know-how, high ambient temperature, limited access to high-quality breeds, high cost of feed ingredients and veterinary inputs, unfriendly government policies, religious and cultural bias, inadequate processing facilities as well as under-developed value-chain. The projected human population of 2.5 billion in Africa by 2050, increasing urbanization and decreasing farming population are pointers to the need for increased food production. The production systems of pigs in Africa requires developmental research, improvements in housing, feed production and manufacturing, animal health, processing, capacity building and pig friendly policies for improved productivity and facilitation of export.

Chosun regime, when it replaced the predecessor of Koryo, had to create political ideological system for new integration of the people. The new system, based on Confucianism, replaced religious values of Buddhism with educational ones. In this educational-ideological system, educational objects were mostly limited in character education's. Its goal was 'restoration of good nature'. For the principal agent of educational process, teacher had the initiative. These traits of educational system can be understood as an 'nature-unfolding perspective' or 'formal discipline perspective'. Moreover, the idea of 'teacher shall be served like prince' seems to be ground of political authoritarianism. In this respects, political traits of traditional education system can be restraining elements for developing independent individuality and free citizenship among Korean people. However, traditional teacher was not only authoritarian trainer. As 'a follower of truth and good', he was equal to his disciples. Teacher learned by teaching them. Students could be colleagues of their teacher. And the main traits of traditional education, focusing character development and community consciousness, are still important, in particular, to modern Korean educational and societal environment wanting in humane and participating citizenship.
Competency cannot be transformed as knowledge, so the operation of competency-based curriculum requires support from the extracurriculum that gives many opportunities practical experience. Therefore, many universities establish the own extracurricular courses by using much financial, human, and physical infrastructure. However, it is doubtful whether the extracurriculum is effective on cultivating competencies, what kinds of programs is useful to nurture right abilities, how to assess the outcome of implementing of the extracurriculum. For these reason, the accreditation system, that awards to student who accomplish certain programs based on the given standard, has been used as the tool to manage outcome achieved by the extracurriculum. This study aimed to investigate the outcome of the accreditation system of K university in order to verify its effectiveness for cultivating competencies through the extracurriculum. Through the analysis of prior research, it could be inferred that students who achieved the accreditation system would be able to cultivate relevant competencies, improve major abilities, and instill a positive image of related administrative departments while participating in various programs. Thus, this study collected data of those who achieved the accreditation and did not by participating at least once in extracurricular program from March 2020 to February 2021 to compare their results of the diagnosis of core competencies and student circumstances, and survey of educational satisfaction and interpreted interviews of 10 students, excellent certifier. As a result, it was verified that the more evenly participating in various programs to achieve the accreditation system, the more diverse competency was obtained, and the satisfaction with the student support department and major education was improved.

In April 1970, the Presbyterian Medical Center started a hospital based community health service project in order to improve the health of the people in rural areas. Prior to commencing a comprehensive medical care system, a family survey was needed. The major objective of this survey was to obtain information concerning the people and their environment so as to be able to plan and implement a comprehensive medical care program in Soyang-Myun. 2. Survey Method An interview using a family record form was carried out for each household. This family record form was designed to get information about demography, family planning, environmental sanitation and vital statistics. Prior to beginning, the members of the survey team were trained in interviewing techniques for three days. The team consisted of a public health nurse, four nurse-aides, a sanitarian and four health extension workers who are working in our project, The survey was carried out during the period November 1971 to March 1972. 3. Purpose of study: Recognizing the importance of securing professionalism in church education in the context of the serious problem of church eucation in the Korean church today, this study aims to reveal the problems of current church education and suggest alternatives for solving the problems. Research content and method: The Korean church is facing crises. One of the crises is the decline in church membership and worship attendance. Another, more fundamental problem is the crisis of church education, where the number of students in Sunday schools is plummeting, and many young people are leaving the church. Many of them are questioning the quality of church education leaders. The decline and demise of Sunday schools does not bode well for the future of the Korean church. What the church needs to do to address these issues is to build up educational professionals. Leadership and professionalism are critical issues. Until now, the needs of church education in the Korean church have relied on dedication and life mission rather than professionalism. And these criteria were enough. It has been 34 years since the October 1989 resolution of the General Assembly of the Christian Church in Korea to establish a system of educators. However, little progress has been made and the system has not been changed to a system of educators. One of the ways to solve this problem is for the Korean church to prepare for the future of the Korean church by utilizing educators for church growth and the restoration of Sunday schools. Conclusions and Suggestions: For the function, mission, and purpose of the church, the system of educators is requested to be established in the Korean church as soon as possible to fulfill the professional church education and educational pastoral mission. In response to this call, current Korean church education needs to change and innovate. The direction of innovation is professional education, which means that there is a need and urgency for professional educators qs church education leaders.
This study which analyzed 4th century Constantinus basilica church architecture is on how the Roman basilica architecture became to christianized and christian architecture became romanized. Basilica architecture of Rome which has strong public characteristic had approach from various direction, especially it has formed inter communicable open space to center forum. Even though, the early christian church has became to bigger size on the process of domus ecclesia centered growth, but it has formed essencially unhierarchy community of home based, it also seemed to have loose religious community below hundred. The result of analyzing 22 of 4 century basilica churches had been shown that more than 60% of them were built on historical place such as tomb of martyr, nearly 70% of them were long axis type, the size of church showed up $3,200m^2$ of average total area. In conclusion, this study concluded the result of christianized showed closeness pursue holiness by separation from the secular world, and long axis it was revealed as mass for the procession ceremony of catholic church. The result of romanized occurred from the process that the basilica church abandoned the unhierarchy, small sizing, worship simplicity of early domus ecclesia characteristics and accept hierarchy, big sizing, worship formalism and complexity of Roman empire system in the roman basilica churches. Through this study it could be grasp that the romanized of early christianity bring not only the change of church architecture but also degeneration of christian itself.
Walter Gropius, famous architect of Bauhaus, once treated of pure mind which was revealed in the system of object and its phenomena through sense of sight while examining material being and illusive being. And Thomas Aquinas said that man can have a creative power only with modest mental state void of prejudice saying that he expected God to come to him after his soul went out of him. The same thing was said by so many great philosophers and thinkers other than him. I think his saying, "God comes after Soul's escape from the body for a new creation", has a real truth for all times and places and beauty itself beyond expression. Why\ulcorner The reason why the saying is so true is because it has a Yin and Yang Idea, that is, the Soul means a dark spirit correspondent to Yin between both oriental ideas and God does a bright spirit correspondent to Yang between them. By reason of this idea, I would like to assert that we should take it granted that we stand in need of the same bright Yang's spirit as God has for the new creation, and let the Yang's bright spirit come to our minds. We can call it divine 'Providence', or call it God's guidance, which we cannot help accepting as a man's fatality. As God was pleased after he made man and all the creatures by dint of his design, so man was pleased after he made everything he needed by the same design that he accepted from God. In spite of pleasure of different dimensions from what God and Man has each other, their way of empathies were all the same. In this paper I compared a worldly lower conception by which man designed his products for his sensuous satisfaction with a higher conception by which God designed his creatures for his mental satisfaction. I intended to infer what destined relation there must be between both God's and man's creations, trying to remind designers that they have to confess to have not so divine a providence as God has for creation because I think the real truth is that they had regarded their works of product design as a routine occurrence for their physical convenience in the industrial plans.ial plans.

In this study, 10th grade students' views about the universe were surveyed and its affecting factors were investigated. Results showed that when hearing the word of 'the universe', 10th grade students considered it as 'a physical space'. Many students used 'feeling', or 'unknown space' to explain. When they portrayed the universe, many of them described it as a solar system scale. About the center and spatial limit of the universe, most students explained with the view of a heliocentric, geocentric or non-centered universe. Many students explained that the universe changed along with a direction as a physical space. These results were investigated again in different groups in terms of gender, beliefs, and familiarity with astronomy. As a result, students' models about the center, spatial limit, and the variation of the universe were different in the groups. Explanation of the origin of the universe was affected by the religious belief. Results showed that personal views of the universe are various, and many factors influence their views.
