Objective: The purpose of this research is to develop an intergenerational ambivalence scale which can measure the intergenerational relationship between middle-aged married couples and their mothers/mother-in-law. Method: The initial items were selected by reviewing the previous research and literature. To test validity and reliability, 222 middle-aged married couples who were residing in Seoul or the Gyeonggi area were selected. Results: The results of the research are as follows: 1) the scale was the total of 26 items consisting of two sub-factors of 14 positives and 12 negatives from the analysis of content validity, construct validity, and convergent validity, 2) the reliability of Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ were from .90 to .94 which showed a high degree of internal consistency. Conclusions: The intergenerational ambivalence scale developed is expected to serve as a useful tool for those who study the intergenerational relationship and work on the ground to measure people's intergenerational dynamics.

본 연구에서는 성인기 자녀 381명을 대상으로 가족분화수준, 가족관계의 질 및 친밀감간의 관계를 살펴보았다. 첫째, 가족분화수준과 가족관계의 질간의 관계를 통하여 가족분화의 개념이 원가족에 대해 지각하는 정서적 건강과 실제 가족관계에서 심리적 안녕감을 나타내는 개념인지 알아보았다. 그 결과, 가족분화수준과 가족관계의 질간에는 유의한 정적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 원가족의 가족분화수준과 성인기 자녀의 이성파트너와의 친밀감간의 관계를 토대로 원가족의 부모와의 정서적 역동이 성인기 자녀의 현재 이성파트너와의 관계에 영향을 미치는지 살펴보았다. 연구결과, 성인기 자녀는 모든 하위체계에서 원가족의 가족분화수준과 이성파트너와의 친밀감간의 관계에서 유의한 정적 상관을 보였으며, 아들이 딸보다 부모의 가족분화수준에 민감한 것으로 나타났다.

External excitations are employed to investigate properties of optical media, with measurement data often analyzed via linear response theory. In this respect, external forcing is modeled here by well-known Poisson and negative-binomial distributions. Ensuing dynamics is examined with a special attention to the relative decay rates of damped harmonic oscillators to such external forcing, along with its relationship to other physical phenomena.

In this paper, we present an associative memory network (AMN) controller for dynamic robot control. The purpose of using AMN is to reduce the size of required memory in storing and recalling large of daa representing input relationship of nonlinear functions. With the capability AMN can be used to dynamic robot control, which has nonlinear properties inherently. The proposed AMN control scheme has advantages for the inverse dynamics learning no limitatiion of inpur range, and insensitive of payload change. Computer simulations show the effectiveness and feasibility of proposed scheme.

This study attempts to understand factors influencing the persistence of companie's outsourcing arrangements using the techniques of survival analysis. It provides an insight into the dynamics of outsourcing relationships between clients and vendors. This is particularly relevant considering that current IS sourcing arrangements are strategic and long term, and require close interdependent relationships between the client and the vendor.

In this paper, the equations of motion are constructed systematically for multibody systems containing closed kinematic loops. For the displacement analysis of the closed loops, we introduce a new mixed coordinates by adding to the reference coordinates, relative coordinates corresponding to the degrees of freedom of the system. The mixed coordinates makes easy derive the explicit closed form solution. The explicit functional relationship expressed in closed form is of great advantages in system dimension reduction and no need of an iterative scheme for the displacement analysis. This forms of equation are built up in the general purpose computer program for the kinematic and dynamic analysis of multiboty systems.

In this paper, two specially designed associative mapping memories, called Associative Mapping Elements(AME) and Multiple-Digit Overlapping AME(MDO-AME), are presented for learning of nonlinear functions including kinematics and dynamics of robot manipulators. The proposed associative mapping memories consist of associative mapping rules(AMR) and weight update rules(WUR) which guarantee generalization and specialization of input-output relationship of learned nonlinear functions. Two simulation results, one for supervised learning and the other for unsupervised learning, are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed associative mapping memories.

In this paper we introduce a discrete model of brucellosis happened in Korean livestock farms and numerically analyze its dynamical features. To do it, we consider parameters data supported by Livestock Cooperatives. To control brucellosis, we investigate the relationship among key parameters, as applications of our model. We hope that our model may be used to reduce brucellosis in Korean livestock farms.
