  • P300 component of the event-related brain potential (ERP) reflects fundamental cognitive processes. The P300 components have been employed in a wide variety of theoretical, empirical, and clinical applications. In oddball paradigm for eliciting P300, we need standard stimuli and target stimuli. Firstly, designated stimuli are presented to subjects. Nextly, a chosen target stimulus is presented. In this paper, we elicited the P300 components with experiment that the subjects select a chosen target stimulus. Therefore, we measured the P300 components to be related choice of the target stimuli. The experimental results and the P300 components to be analyzed were presented.

  • Skin-related toxicity is one of the most important adverse events from multi-target tyrosine kinase inhibitor (MTKI) to treat radioiodine refractory thyroid cancer. As hand foot skin reaction can limit quality of life and therapeutic effectiveness, it is essential to cope with a variety of severity of skin-related toxicity induced by MTKI. Herein, we will discuss two representative cases of skin-related toxicities which were managed by discontinuation/reduction of therapeutic doses of MTKI and were treated by proper medication in thyroid cancer patients with distant metastasis.

  • The use of online shopping mall has been increasing rapidly, which reflects the convenience and economic benefits associated with its usage. As with traditional offline businesses, internet businesses have to manage customer relations to provide better services in order to ensure their business sustainability. In this regard, identifying the influencing factors to reuse intention of online shopping mall is very important. In this paper, we aim to examine the effects of perceived and individual variables on intention to reuse in the context of online shopping mall. In order to analyze the antecedents, we selected perceived and individual factors such as shopping enjoyment, concentration, perceived variety and maximizing tendency. For empirical analysis, we surveyed real users of online shopping mall. As a result, all antecedents showed significant influence on intention to reuse except perceived variety and among the variables the concentration has top standardized coefficient. In addition, perceived variety has significant effect on shopping enjoyment but not on concentration. Maximizing tendency is related to shopping enjoyment and concentration significantly. The results of this research can be useful guidelines for online shopping mall providers.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the apparel manufacturers who have not been effectively preparing for worldwide trends of rapid increase in overweight population with fundamental data to develop updated domestic market through the findings derived from the actual dissatisfaction factors in purchasing of a garment by overweight body customers excluded in the apparel industry. The results of study are as follows : Considering the relationships with dissatisfaction factors in purchasing ready-to-wear according to the interests in weight control, there is a slight difference in the partial intention from degree of self-recognition of body figure and interests in weight control and motivation of interests in weight control. As a results, first, the more recognition of obesity, the more dissatisfaction with "product variety" and "purchasing decision". Second, the more interests in weight control, the more dissatisfaction with product variety in purchasing of ready-to-wear. Third, the more self-recognition of obesity as the motivation of interests in weight control, there is a high dissatisfaction with product variety.

  • Fifteen samples of barley seed proteins representing winter 6-rowed, spring 6-rowed and spring 2-rowed group were separated by disc electrophoresis. Photographic, densitometric and diagrammatic representation were presented to make comparison possible. Eighteen to twenty one bands were detected in each gel. Electrophoretic spectrum of each variety was highly variety specific showing that the spectrum is the reflection of hereditary constituents of a organism. Related variety showed identical or nearly identical pectrum. All winter 6-rowed barley showed very faint B2 band, while spring 6-rowed and spring 2-rowed barley showed dense or less dense B2 band. All spring barley showed B3 band, while all winter barley showed B4 band.

  • The purpose of this study was to understand interrelationships among switching costs, customer satisfaction, and switching intent in a family restaurant. Based on a total of 427 customers obtained from empirical research, this study reviewed the reliability and fitness of the research model and verified a total of five hypotheses using the Amos program. The hypothesized relationships in the model were tested simultaneously by using a structural equation model (SEM). The proposed model provided an adequate fit to the data, ${\chi}^2$=137.881 (df=50); p< .001; CMIN/df 2.758; GFI= .947; AGFI= .919, NFI= .965; IFI= .978; TLI= .970; CFI= .978; RMR= .047; RMSEA= .064. The results showed that switching cost (${\beta}$= .123) in a family restaurant had a positive (+) influence upon customer satisfaction. Further, switching cost had a significantly negative (-) effect on switching intent (${\beta}$= -.414). In addition, there were moderating effects related to customer knowledge and variety seeking orientation in terms of the causal relationships between switching costs, customer satisfaction, and switching intent. Limitations and future research directions are also discussed.

  • The Korean Government has recently been pushing ahead with a variety of programs to support regional innovation. This paper examines whether the variety of regional innovation programs of the government are efficiently managed and effectively functioning in regions. To make the assessment, questionnaire surveys were executed targeting innovation actors in fourteen regions and evaluated the efficiency of government regional programs. Key points of assessment were the appropriateness of the program organization and the efficiency of program management for the effectiveness of program results. It was found that the appropriateness of the program organization and the efficiency of program management were related positively to performance of programs, but the performance of regional innovation programs overall was not high. Some problems were found in program organization and program management such as the overlapping of program objectives and functions, the inadequate synergy among programs, insufficient reflection of the needs of industry in planning, the overlapping investment in facilities and equipment, and low effectiveness of evaluation.

  • A survey of one hospital foodservice system in Seoul was undertaken and detailed in formation was collected from 538 patients. Patient satisfaction with the quality of hospital food and food-related service was evaluated by questionnaire survey. It was measured by assessing 24 variables. The effect of medical treatments, age, length of stay and appetite on patients' satisfaction satisfied with the food served, although the variety of food and seasoning of food received the lowest score. The highest rated items were attitude of personnel serving food, the portion size of cooked rice, and the cleanliness of dishes and tray. Younger patients were significantly less satisfied than were older patients. Female patients were significantly more satisfied nificantly more satisfied than were other patients. Medical treatments, age, length of stay of stay and appetite were found to be significantly correlated with patient satisfaction scores. Foodservice attributes for improvement were taste of meals, selection and variety of food and temperature of food.

  • Working in a hazardous environment can decrease work efficiency and cause a variety of occupational diseases. To prevent occupational accidents and build a refreshing and pleasant work environment, therefore, it is necessary to develop an application system through which a worker's safety can be monitored on a realtime basis and provide related services. Recently, smartphones have become very popular across the nation, with over 10 million users. As a result, a variety of application services have been developed and provided in diverse sectors. This study proposes a system structure to develop application services which monitor work environment using smartphones and examines its applicability through the implementation of server and client interfaces.

  • In this paper, we standardized the water operation system picture, process control logic, realtime database and system configuration. All aspects, including monitoring & controlling processes, symbols such as pumps, valves and pipes were standardized. As a result we have developed a specialized Integrated water operation system, iWater. We have developed a variety of advanced application programs that are essential for water treatment systems, such as IWS (Integrated Warning system), MBO(modbus opc)/LSE(LS ethernet) driver, video monitoring, self diagnosis system, network monitoring, etc. IWS prevents water supply accidents by using a variety of alarms and warning messages. Drivers have the flexibility to communicate with other 3rd party systems. We expect that iWater will eliminate any concerns regarding water-related issues while also promoting the production and fair distribution of clean water.
