하지 근육 시너지 분석 기반의 FES 시스템이 보행 시 뇌졸중 환자의 족하수 개선에 미치는 영향: 사례 연구 (The effect of lower limb muscle synergy analysis-based FES system on improvement of the foot drop of stroke patient during walking: a case study)

  • Foot drop is a common symptom in stroke patients due to central nervous system (CNS) damage, which causes walking disturbances. Functional electrical stimulation (FES) is an effective rehabilitation method for stroke patients with CNS damage. Aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of 6 weeks FES walking training based lower limb muscle synergy of stroke patients. Lower limb muscle synergies were extracted from electromyography (EMG) using a non-negative matrix factorization algorithm (NMF) method. Cosine similarity and cross correlation were calculated for similarity comparison with healthy subjects. In both stroke patients, the similarity of leg muscle synergy during walking changed to similar to that of healthy subjects due to a decrease in foot drop during. FES walking intervention influenced the similarity of muscle synergies during walking of stroke patients. This intervention has an effective method on foot drop and improving the gait performance of stroke patients.

  • 국산 의료기기 산업에 대한 다양한 투자와 신기술 도입에 따라 국내의료기기 산업은 비약적인 증가를 하고 있으나 국내 대형의료기관의 국산의료기기 사용률은 여전히 저조한 것으로 조사되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 국내 대형병원에서의 국산 의료기기 사용률과 사용자 및 관리자의 인식조사를 수행하여 국산의료기기의 개선점을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 국내 4곳의 국립대학교병원을 대상으로 전체 의료기기의 종류와 국산 의료기기 사용률에 대한 조사를 진행하고 이를 바탕으로 의료기기 중 중점조사 대상 의료기기를 선정하였다. 중점조사대상 의료기를 대상으로 고장통계와 사용자 인식조사를 수행하였으며 이를 통해 중점조사대상 의료기기의 개선사항을 제시하였다.

  • As the construction industry has been developed since 1970, there is a great needs to develop the methodology for repair and rehabilitation of the damaged reinforced concrete structures. Numerous materials which are currently used in construction field without any regulations are examined in terms of their serviceabilities and effectiveness. Structural behavior of repaired beams are investigated both statically and dynamically. This paper summarize the overall research plan, which is sponsored by KICT, in 1994.

A Study on Priority of Classification System for Agro-healing Using the Analytic Hierarchy Process

  • Background and objective: As the 'Healing Agriculture Research and Development and Promotion Act' came into effect on March 25, 2021, social interest in agro-healing has been increasing exponentially. This study was conducted to analyze the priorities of agro-healing classification system and to provide basic data to inform policy directions and related research for the development and activation of agro-healing. Methods: The survey data collected from 18 experts were analyzed using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method in determine the relative weights of the main and sub-criteria for the classification system. There were three main criteria identified: agro-healing input industry, agro-healing service industry, and agro-healing-related/derived industry. There were also 11 sub-criteria. Results: The top three sub-criteria with the highest complex weights include "community service," "social rehabilitation" and "treatment and rehabilitation," all of which correspond to the main criterion "agro-healing service industry". In addition, the complex weights of the sub-criteria corresponding to the main criterion "agro-healing related/derived industry" are as follows: "other agro-healing support service," which ranked 4th, and "training and education institutions for agro-healing experts," which ranked 5th when prioritizing the criteria. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that the main criterion to be considered first in establishing a classification system is "agro-healing service industry". Therefore, it is necessary to continue research on detailed service classifications and systems with verified validity to ensure expertise in human resources, and organization related to social purpose services in agro-healing.

작업기반 중재와 전산화인지재활치료의 결합 중재가 뇌졸중 환자의 웰니스를 위한 우울감에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Combination Intervention of Occupation - Based Intervention and Computerized Cognitive Rehabilitation on Depression in Stroke Patients for Wellness)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 작업기반 중재와 전산화인지치료의 결합 중재를 통해 뇌졸중 환자의 심리사회적 기능과 인지 기능 및 우울감에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 뇌졸중 환자 23명을 실험집단 11명, 대조집단 12명으로 나누어 진행하였으며, 실험집단과 대조집단은 4주간, 30분씩의 CoTras를 받았으며, 실험집단의 추가적으로 CoTras 시작 이전에 30분간 작업기반 중재를 받았다. 총 4주간, 20회 진행되었다. 평가는 자기 효능감 척도, 스트레스 척도, 우울척도, 신경행동학적 인지 상태 검사를 사용하였다. 연구 결과, 실험집단은 자기 효능감과 스트레스, 우울의 개선에 대조집단보다 더 유의미한 개선을 나타냈으며, 인지 기능에서 실험집단은 대조집단과 작은 효과의 크기차이를 보였다. 본 연구를 근거로 뇌졸중 환자의 심리사회적 요인과 우울증, 인지 기능의 개선을 위해 CoTras와 함께 작업기반 중재가 동시에 수행되는 것을 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

물리치료사의 작업관련 근골격계 통증과 부담작업 유해요인 평가: 성인 신경계 손상 치료를 중심으로 (Work-Related Musculoskeletal Pain and Workload Evaluation of Physical Therapists: Focused on Neurological Injury Treatment of Adults)

  • Importance of the work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) has been increasing in the hospital industry such as health care industry and financial industry. This study investigated in order to identify the factors like general, occupational and ergonomically characteristics of the subjects related to musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) of physical therapists (PTs). Ergonomic tools of rapid upper limb assessment (RULA) were used for evaluation workload of the tasks. Prevalence of MSDs were 13 PTs (26.0%) for neck, 31 PTs (62.0%) for shoulder, 9 PTs (18.0%) for arm/elbow, 27 PTs (54.0%) for hand/wrist, 28 PTs (56.0%) for back, 14 PTs (28.0%) for leg/foot. The analysis of the rate of the pain intensity showed that 53.5% subjects experience moderate pain and 14.0% subjects experience severe pain. Factors which were general characteristics, for example, height, ergonomically characteristics such as 'Posture Score A' were related musculoskeletal subjective symptoms in logistic analysis (p<.05). Among physical therapists, action level of RULA were action level 2 (6.0%), action level 3 (52.0%), action level 4 (42.0%). Physical therapists were estimated one of the highest risk factor in this study. This study suggested that the need of preventive education and program for PTs (physical therapists). Comprehensive and systematic management plans should be established to include both ergonomic and sociopsychological aspects.

언어치료환자를 위한 비음측정기 모듈의 구조가 비음치 산출에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Nasometer Structure on Nasalance for Speech Therapy)

  • With the development of medical technology, interest in rehabilitation devices is increasing and various devices are being studied. In particular, devices for speech disorders such as hearing impairment and cleft palate are attracting attention. In general, the nasometer is used for patients with flaccid dysarthria and velopharyngeal incompetence(VPI). However, in the case of the conventional separator type nasometer, that has an acoustic feedback problem between the oral and nasal sounds. In recent, the mask type nasometer has been developed which is insensitive to acoustic feedback. But, still not popularized. In this paper, the nasometer characteristics of the conventional separation type and mask type are analyzed. Also, We were obtained clinical acoustic data from the 6 subjects and examined the significant differences in the structure of the separation type and mask type nasometer. Through experiments, it was confirmed that the measurement was about 3~15% higher in the mask type nasometer than the conventional nasometer having a separator type. Also, We was considered the necessity of nasometer signal processing for acoustic feedback reduction and nasalance calculation optimization.

  • A rural area of Korea is inferior compare to urban areas in physical settlements, and an elderly people of the inhabitant increased and it is not easy to see young people in a rural villages. It comes from income difference between industrial type and area and leaving rural area are the accelerated and repeated, and resident who live in rural area after twenty to thirty years can be an elderly society A settlement of rural area is needed settlement rehabilitation for elderly society as follows first, a model development and public support of settlement rehabilitation for rural areas. Second, village remodeling of farming village for elderly are discussed. The rehabilitate rural villages is expected an immigration from urban area which over crowding, and eco tour as new industry.
