  • 수소경제사회를 위한 수소인프라 구축에서 가장 중요한 부분이 현지설치형 수소스테이션이라고 하겠다. 이러한 수소스테이션은 일본, 미국, 유럽 등 선진각국에서 2015년에 상용화를 계획한 수소연료전지자동차의 보급에 필요불가결한 설비이므로 이들 지역을 중심으로 수요가 발생할 것으로 보인다. 선진국에서는 수소연료전지자동차의 경우 상용화가 이루어지면 2020년경 그 비율은 전체 자동차의 약 5% 수준을 점유할 것으로 보고 있다. 현재 국내에서도 정부주관으로 2015년부터 보급 목표로 수소연료전지차 모니터링연구가 수행되고 있다. 이에 따라 이미 외국 설비를 중심으로 수소스테이션 실증연구가 이루어졌으며, 각 기업체 및 연구기관에서 개질기, 고압압축기, 디스펜서 등 많은 요소기술 개발에 박차를 가하고 있으며, 이 결과로 향후 수소스테이션 국산화에 많은 기여를 할 것으로 사료된다. 아울러 이번 연구는 수소스테이션의 핵심부분인 수소스테이션용 제어로직을 개발하고 시뮬레이터를 제작한 결과에 대해 발표하고자 한다.

Fuel Composition Heterogeneity Effect for DUPIC Core

  • A preliminary study of the heterogeneity effect of spent P% fuel in CANDU was made using a reduced spent PWR fuel data base. The instantaneous core simulation has shown that the refueling ripple in the CANDU reactor is large if the spent PWR fuel is directly used. But the fuel heterogeneity effect can be reduced appreciably by blending spent PWR fuel with a small amount of fresh UO$_2$. The refueling simulation has shown that the operating margins of 6.0% and 8.7% are achievable for the peak channel and bundle powers, respectively, with the blended fuel.

  • The research on production and application of hydrogen as an alternative energy in the future is being carried out actively. It hydrogen storage is necessary in order that user use hydrogen economically without much difficulty. Among the ways of hydrogen storage the method which is compressed hydrogen gas by high pressure is easier for application than other methods. In this study, we have been calculated gas with changing pressure and temperature variation of container wall through applied to mass and energy balance equation when compressing hydrogen by high pressure, and also to Beattie-Bridgeman equation of state for the kinetic of hydrogen. We will apply above date as a preliminary for design of hydrogen storage tank.

  • 수소에너지의 무궁한 가능성 때문에 관련 기술은 미래 국가 경쟁력을 좌우할 것이며, 이러한 수소에너지의 핵심으로 수소제조공정 및 수소스테이션 관련 기술은 국가연료전지 시장을 비롯한 수소연료전지자동차 산업 전반에 커다란 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되고 있다. 그러므로 세계 각국은 수소에너지를 미래에너지원으로 개발하기 위하여 대규모로 기술개발 및 실증연구를 실시하고 있으며, 주로 수소연료전지자동차 개발과 아울러 수소스테이션 개발에 대한 인프라 구축에 대해 이루어지고 있다. 국내에서도 국가주도로 수소스테이션 건설이 이루어지고 있으며, 본 연구에서는 수소연료전지자동차를 이용하여 수소인프라와의 모니터링에 대한 현황에 대해 논의하고자 한다.

  • Hydrogen energy is expanding in range for civil use together with development of pollution-free power sources recently, and it is judged that the use of hydrogen will increase more as a part of carbon dioxide reduction measures according to the Climatic Change Convention. Especially, it is thought that the securement of safety of the used dispenser will be the biggest obstacle in the use of high-pressure hydrogen because the hydrogen station is operated in a high pressure. This study found risks in the process and problems on operation by making use of HAZOP(6 kinds), a qualitative safety evaluation technique, and FMEA(5 kinds), a fault mode effect analysis, for the hydrogen charging system at a hydrogen gas station, derived 6 risk factors from HAZOP and 5 risk factors from FMEA, and prepared measures for it.

  • The fuel handling machine handles the core assembly in refueling period of the reactor, it is necessary to predict the motion and structural integrity of it. The kinetic analysis of the fuel handling machine was carried out for the refueling motion. The reaction forces at the joints of machine were calculated with IDEAS code considering the weight of the machine and the loading force of the core assembly, Also, the structural analysis for the machine modeled by lumped-mass and beam elements was performed by using ANSYS code. The stresses and deformations were calculated for the equivalent static force based on the kinetic analysis and the seismic loads. The calculated displacements and stresses are quite low compared with allowable limits.

  • In the des19n of KNGR (Korea Next Generation Reactor), we believe that economy is one of the most important factors to be considered Thus, we reviewed and evaluated the consequences of designing the head area into an integrated package from an economical point of view. The refueling outage durations of the nuclear power plants currently in operation In Korea, some having and others not having integrated head package, are compared. This paper discusses the characteristics of head area design and the critical design issues of KNGR head area to evaluate the effect of the head area characteristics on the outage duration.

  • A generalized perturbation program has been developed for the purpose of estimating zonal power variation of a CANDU reactor upon refueling operation. The forward and adjoint calculation modules of RFSP code were used to construct the generalized perturbation program. The numerical algorithm for the generalized adjoint flux calculation was verified by comparing the zone power estimates upon refueling with those of forward calculation. It was, however, noticed that the truncation error from the iteration process of the generalized adjoint flux is not negligible.
