In der vorliegenden Arbeit wurde versucht, eine $ad\"{a}quate\;Basis\;f\"{u}r$ die Untersuchung der indirekten Sprachhandlung dadurch zu schaffen, die das $Indirektheitsph\"{a}nomen$ konstituierenden sozial-kommunikativen Faktoren ans Licht zu bringen. Dazu $mu{\ss}ten\;zun\"{a}chst$ einige Unstimmigkeiten der Searleschen Theorie der indirekten Sprechakte, die lange Zeit in der linguistischen Pragmatik dominierte, auf ihre $Erkl\"{a}rungskraft$ sowie ihre Haltbarkeit hin $\"{u}berpr\"{u}ft$ werden. In dieser Theorie wird davon ausgegangen, mit einer indirekten $\"{A}u{\ss}erung\;w\"{u}rden zwei\;illokution\"{a}re$ Akte gleichzeitig realisiert. Diese Annahme beruht ihrerseits auf der Auffassung, dem Satz wohne eine $illokution\"{a}re$ Rolle inne, wie z.B. dem Interrogativsatz die Rolle der FRAGE. So ist die bei Tisch oft verwendete $\"{A}u{\ss}$erung 'Kannst du mir das Salz reichen?' einerseits aufgrund des Fragesatztyps FRAGE und andererseits aufgrund der ihr konventionell zuzuordnenden Funktion eine BITTE. Die Frage ist, ob dem sog. $sekund\"{a}r\;illokution\"{a}ren$ Akt, also in diesem Fall der FRAGE, der Handlungscharakter verliehen werden kann. Denn die Handlungsintention des Sprechers liegt eindeutig darin, vom $H\"{o}rer$ das Salz $\"{u}berreicht$ zu bekommen, und nicht darin, sich vom $H\"{o}rer$ etwa uber seine $F\"{a}higkeit$ zum Salzreichen zu informieren. Die schwerwiegendsten $M\"{a}ngel$ der Searleschen Analyse der Indirektheit liegen z.T. darin, bei der Bestimmung des kommunikativen Zwecks einer $\"{A}u{\ss}erung$ von den sprachlichen Eigenschaften des Satzes ausgegangen zu sein und nicht von dem $Proze{\ss}$ der gemeinsamen Sinnkonstituierung durch die Kommunikationsteilnehmer, wie etwa durch die gegenseitige Annahme und die reflexive Intention. In diesem Zusammenhang erweisen sich die-von Grice so genanntenpartikularisierten konversationellen Implikaturen als das Musterbeispiel $f\"{u}r$ die Entstehung und Interpretation der indirekten $\"{A}u{\ss}erung$. Hier wird man vor allem - wenigstens auf der abstraktiven Ebene der Gegenstandsanalyse - der kommunikativen $Realit\"{a}t$ gerecht. Die kommunikative Indirektheit in der Alltagskommunikation, so $hei{\ss}t$ der allgemeinere Begriff als etwa die Indirektheit auf der $illokution\"{a}ren$ Ebene, zeichnet sich dadurch aus, $da{\ss}$ sie eine in besonderem $Ma{\ss}e$ partnerorientierte, kooperative und auf die $Intersubjektivit\"{a}t$ unter den Kommunikationsteilnehmem abzielende Handlungsweise darstellt.

"Borderless village" is a kind of alternative social project to build a multi cultural community of migrant workers around Wongok-Dong, Ansan leaded by Ansan Migrant Center since 1999. We thought this project deserved attention from a view point of social sciences for such reasons as follows. (1)This project could give an opportunity for us to examine the concrete effects of globalization on local areas and responses of these areas to those ones. (2)This project was composed of theoretical concepts very similar to those of reflexive modernization theory. So by examining this project we could have a chance to judge the validity of the latter. (3)The process of making discourses on this project was very interesting. It looks like more democratic and constructive one than others. (4)This project proposed the problem of creating a new form or way of social movement different from so called 'old or new social movements.' Our provisional conclusion of this study was this project could be estimated as very creative and progressive one but it was too abstract to be realistic and effective yet.
Animation as a public visuals media have been expanding increasingly its social and cultural influences beyond the ages and nations on the basis of global consumption. However, animation increases the negative impact in modern popular culture, and in regard to this, 'the recovery of ethics' should be considered in a reflexive and educational perspectives for the social role of animation. Thus, the research addresses the animation films of Brigham Young University students which contain a ethical values and receive attention by New York Times, etc. as a successful educational model. To do this, firstly, literature has reviewed by focusing on the negative impact of animation, 1) violence, 2) excessive sensationalism, 3) confusion of cultural identity, 4) gender discrimination, and 5) distorted view of history. Secondly, the education system of animation course at Brigham Young University will be analysed. Thirdly, based on this, the case study will be conducted by focusing on the 13 animation films of students to reveal the characteristics of the way of film direction. Through this research, firstly, most of animation films are comic genre, consisting of children and animal characters, family-friendly and lyrical story style and deployment of coincidental and allegoric incident. Thirdly, the religious spirit and multidisciplinary methods of education in Brigham Young University has influenced to the ethical expression and technical perfection in animation filmmaking. In the light of this, the research and suggests the new paradigm is for the practical disciplines of animation in the restoration of the ethical perspective and explores how the animation production adopts the moral significance.
Although both ecosystem theory and empowerment have become the most prevalent candidate for integrated paradigm for social welfare practices, they could not overcome completely the long-standing and sharp divides between micro and macro practices, that is, between subject and structure as a main explanatory element in social welfare realm. Along with such traditional dualism and tension, a new emerging divide between modernism and postmodernism regarding intrinsic mission and roles of social welfare has urged strongly to develop the overarching theoretical framework for social welfare practice. In this regard, this study aims to recast the ecosystem theory and empowerment through the reflexive modernization theory of critical sociologist Anthony Giddens. With relatively strong emphasis on human capability coined as the reflexivity, Giddens's own creative theory of modernization can be thoroughly expected to provide a solid foundation of integrated paradigm enough to bridge the existing dualisms in social welfare theory and practice. Especially, his unique account of integrated way of how human agency is involved in the construction of social structure and how to transform each other recursively has profound implication for empowerment to be adequate and proper comprehensive framework for social welfare practice.
STS studies into science documentaries for television are rare, and they do not even reflect the constructivist fruits of STS. STS have been calling for the need of analyzing 'science-in-the-making' in order to understand science more deeply. Similarly, our starting point is the assumption that science documentary can be better understood when we look into its making process. Under this assumption, we adopted the method of participant observation in analyzing 'documentary practice', trying to open the 'black box' called 'science documentary'. We have here focused on the documentary named "Light" made by a scientific documentary team of EBS, who made "Culture and Mathematics" and "Life". Each of us worked as a main consultant and an assistant staff in making "Light". We will address two main points in this study. First, based on our participant observation and interviews, we will show that the members of documentary making team are thinking about 'science' in distinctive ways. The team tended to emphasize visualization, knowledge linked to people's everyday life, and the distinctive characters of scientists who appear in the documentary. Second, by looking closely into the interaction between the team members and the consultant in the process of completing the script of the documentary, it was possible to understand how the contents of the documentary was constructed more accurately. In the making process, consultant's idea was not simply accepted by the making team, but there were conflicts and compromises. By showing this, we will be able to bring up a reflexive question about the role of consultant in the process of making a science documentary.

This paper is to conceptualize the urban social circulation of water from the social constructivism and political ecology, and to analyze the history of development of social circulation of water, that is, the modernization process of water in Daegu. The development of social circulation system of water in Daegu can be divided into 4 stages, that is, the beginning stage of modernization of water mainly during the period of Japanese colonization, the take-off stage from the 1960s to the mid-1980s, the stage of reflexive modernization from the late 1980s to the 1990s, and that of neoliberalization of water since the 2000s. It can be seen that the development of social circulation system of water in Daegu has contributed the increasing urban population and economic development, especially supporting the spatial expansion of the city and the way of modern way of urban life. But the social circulation system of water in Daegu seems to meet with a lot of problems such as relocation of the water intake station, over-equipment of filtration plants, distrust on tap water, inequality of water use, readjustment of water charge, liquid waste from industrial complexes within the urban area, creative destruction of waterfront environment, and privatization of water.

With the rapid development and introduction of digital technologies, both everyday human life and technological processes of any production are changing, which stimulates the transformation of the economy and education. Digital technologies are not only a tool, but also a living environment of modern human, which opens up new opportunities: learning at any convenient time, continuing education, the ability to form individual educational learning trajectories and more. However, the digital environment requires teachers to take a modern approach to the organization of the educational process, the formation of new skills and abilities to work in the digital educational environment. As a result of the study, it was found that the system of vocational education should provide training for masters of industrial training who have a high level of digital competence. The purpose of the article is to single out, theoretically substantiate and determine the level of formation of structural components of digital competence of future masters of agricultural training. The structure of digital competence of agricultural master was analyzed on the basis of domestic and foreign scientists researches. Systematized research results indicate that digital competence consists of four components: motivational-value (combination of internal and external motives for the use of digital technologies in future professional activities), cognitive (a set of theoretical knowledge, skills and abilities of future master of industrial training to effectively build educational process with the use of digital technologies), activity-professional (expansion and deepening of knowledge, skills, necessary skills for effective implementation of digital technologies in the educational process) and evaluative-reflexive (ability to analyze and self-analyze own activities and its results taking into account professional characteristics, self-realization in professional activities through the use of digital technologies). These components are comparable with the indicators that describe the knowledge, skills and abilities needed by the future master of industrial training to organize the modern educational process. A questionnaire was conducted to determine the levels of this competence formation, which allows us to conclude that it is necessary to increase the level of formation of all components of digital competence of future masters of industrial training in agriculture. The results of the study can be used as a basis for the development of disciplines that form the special competencies of masters of industrial training in agriculture and programs of advanced training of teachers.

The Drone shot is moving images captured by a remotely controlled unmanned aerial vehicle, takes usually bird's eye view. The hand-held shot is moving images recorded by literal handheld shooting which is specialized to on-the-spot filming. It takes a walker's viewpoint through vivid realism of its self-reflexive camera movements. The purpose of this study is to analyze comparatively aesthetic functions of the drone shot and the hand-held shot. For this, the study understood Certeau's concepts of 'place' and 'space,' chose World Travel 'Peninsula de Yucatan' episode as a research object, and analytically applied two concepts to the scenes clearly presenting two shots' aesthetic characteristics. As a result, the drone shot took the authoritative viewpoint providing the general information and atmosphere as it overlooked the city with silent movements removing the self-reflexivity. This aesthetic function was reinforced the narration and subtitles mediating prior-knowledge about proper rules and orders of the place. The drone shot tended to project the location as a place. Conversely, the hand-held shot practically experienced the space with free walking which is free from rules and orders inherent in the city. The aesthetics of hand-held images represented the tactic resisting against the strategy of a subject of will and power in that the hand-held shot practiced anthropological walking by means of noticing everyday lives of the small town and countryside than main tourist attraction. In opposition to the drone shot, the hand-held shot tended to reflect the location as a space.
This thesis investigates the development of optical instruments in the 19th century, before the birth of the cinema, and the principle of the perception of moving images. For this purpose it traces the development stages of the optical instruments which demonstrated 'illusion of movement' from 1820s when the 'persistence of vision' had begun to be researched by scientists. Then, it examines the theory of the 'persistence of vision' or 'afterimage effect' known as the principle in the perception of illusion of movement produced from moving images. The optical instruments in the 19th century that presented the illusion of movement began with the Thaumatrope (double-sided picture disc), and appeared from the Phenakistiscope/Stroboscope (revolving disc), the Zoetrope (revolving drum) and the Praxinoscope (mirror-reflexive revolving drum), and in 1892 the Projection-Praxinoscope presented firstly the moving pictures (animation) on the screen. According to the research of psychology and physiology in the early 20th century it has been recognized that the 'afterimage effect' theory is not sufficient to explain the perception of illusion of movement from the moving images which is closely related to the particularity of the visual perception system of the human eyes. Since then, the Phi-phenomenon suggested 1912 by the Gestalt psychologist, Max Wertheimer (1880-1943), is regarded as the most persuasive theory until now, although it is still imperfect.
Shopping is considered a 'must-do' activity for most people on travel. One of the major parts of tourist shopping is the purchasing of souvenirs. Souvenirs are universally associated with tourism as a commercially produced and purchased object to remind the purchaser of the experience. Recently, Korea becomes one of the most popular destinations that many Asian tourists like to visit. Among those Asian tourists, the number of Thai tourists bound for Korea shows an incredible rapid growth. Thai people pick Korea and Seoul as their favorite country and city to visit for three consecutive years since 2009. One of the major reasons why Thais are choosing to tour Korea is the enthusiasm for Korean pop culture. That is, 'Hallyu' has influenced Thais' decision to visit Korea and purchase Korean products. The primary objective of the current research is to explore the shopping experiences of Thai tourists, specifically their souvenir shopping. It adopts a reflexive interpretive approach to bring light to the various meanings Thai tourists attach to the souvenirs they purchase in Korea. In order to accomplish the objective, the individual interviews were conducted. A total of 12 Thais who have experienced traveling in Korea participated in the study. Four themes were identified through interview text analysis. First, the research participants almost always purchase souvenirs in Korea because the souvenirs represent their identities as tourists. Especially, they purchase the souvenirs as gifts for others, including family members, friends, and colleagues. The souvenirs as gifts show love and thanks to others, and they cement the social relationship. However, purchasing souvenirs for others is more like the moral obligations which evoke the psychological stress. Secondly, the research participants feel closer to Korea while shopping souvenirs around. Thirdly, they obtain imaginative experiences and pleasure through souvenirs related to the Korean pop culture. Souvenirs provide them to visually extraordinary experiences. Lastly, souvenirs purchased in Korea act as visible status marker when they go back to Thailand. They show the socioeconomic status and lifestyles. Tourists themselves and others place special value to souvenirs that were purchased out of Thailand. The findings of this study are of both academic and practical importance. Souvenirs are among the most pervasive elements of the travel experience. However, souvenir shopping is the complicated consumer behavior within tourism both from business and social science perspectives. Along the same line, it needs strategic approaches in order to maximize the economy effects. It concludes by suggesting how further research could offer unique insights into how the souvenirs are positioned both in the context of tourism academics and industry.
