Modern Fashion Design Influenced Russian Rayonism - Forcusing on Mikhail Larionov & Natalia Goncharova -

  • This study* 1) historically considered the meaning of light which has frequently wed as the subject of artistic expression since Renaissance, in order to grasp an artistic atmosphere about light and rays before the allusion of Rayonism. non it inspected closely the course of changes of light as a result of historic circumstances and intended to understand how Rusian Rayonism of the 20th, which maintained these effects of light more rationally, had an influence on modern fashion. It was created by Mikhail Larionov and developed by his wife, N. Goncharova. The main special feature of Rayonism wag the crossing of reflected ras, emerging from various objects. Most of these things depended on line and color. Re purpose of Rayonism paintings was to create a new space from arising from which reflected rays from various selected objected crossed one another. Namely, artists maintained that they should give up various objects of visible world and express rays which were reflected objects and crossed in complex. Rayonists were affected by Cubism and Futurism and came to fake an interest in relations whose rays of parallel or convergent color made, also in expression of themes. Since that, Rayonsim affected Supermatisme and Constructivism. Re pursuit of light and rays from the 19th until the early 20th came to appear in fashion as well as in art as it was. As Rayonists created a new space from which reflected rays from selected objects crossed one another, they used line and color as the main techniques of expression. in this way the attempt which intended to express rays, using itself of the line and color, appeared as futile design of tots of designs like Donna Karan, Cianni Versace and Rococo Barocco and so on of Modem fashion. This was designed for essential elements of pure art to express the new aestheic consciousness through fashion.

  • This study intends to observe how the essential elements of art have changed Human's sense of beauty extending over the whole lives as well as fashion through the investigation of Light and Rays which have played a important role in giving birthe to the new trend of art within the upheaval age of various cultures. The peculiarities of which Futurism of Italy and Rayonism of Russia including Impressionism have a great role in giving birth to a new trend of art by means of the development of science technology are like these. Impressionists looked for the origin of the subtle harmony in nature within changes of sun-rays. The special feature of Impressionism paintings was to express the line of vision diversely according to changes of light rather than to focus on the line of vision with clear outlines. Henceforth, Neo-Impressionism which developed Impressionism more systematically leaded changes of Light and Rays more systematically and scientifically and maintained Divisionnisme techniques which extends to lead towards color and light through dividing and juxtaposing color. In the early 20th century Futurists tried to express dynamism through the interpenetration of light and revive color and light through the division techniques of color and persist an artificial light like eletricity rather than a natural light. Rayonism of Russia which was ifluenced from Impressionism and Futurism maintained intersection of reflecting rays which emerges from an object of things more deeply. This pursuit of light and rays also light and rays also appears as it is in modern fashion. First, it is the fashion which applied sun-rays persisted by Impressionists and expressed colors which show differently according to direction of light. Second, it is the fashion design which re-analyzed what Futurists expressed artificial light and rays. Third, it is the design which expressed Divisionnisme theory persisted by Impressionists and Futurists into fashion as it is and was made of being divided the form of glittering light into small dots. Fourth, it is the fashion design which applied Rayonists'work which applied intersection of reflected rays. Like this, it is aproved that the pursuit of light and rays expresses as it is in modern fashion of the 21st.

  • This paper presents a study on the design of photovoltaic system with reversal tracking reflector. The reversal tracking reflector is conceptually designed by using TRIZ. The 20 to 30% of incident rays cannot produce the current and reflected back to the glass surface because of high refractive index of solar cell which are produced from Si, GaAs. The solution of this problem has been derived using 6SC(6 steps creativity)TRIZ. The reflector which has the actuator can be trackback the sun. Reversal tracking reflector which mounted on the top of the system prevents the shadowing loss and improve the efficiency of track back function. The anti-glare reflector prevents the heat due to the concentrated reflected light rays.

  • In constructing a synthetic seismogram using ray-tracing method a suite of ray-code is required to obtain a realistic seismogram which is similar to the actual seismogram or earthquake record under consideration. An infinite number of rays exist for any arbitrarily located source and receiver. One select only a finite number of such rays in computing a synthetic seismogram so their selection becomes important to the validity of the seismogram being generated. Missing certain important rays or an inappropriate selection of ray-codes in tracing rays may result in wrong interpretation of the earthquake record or seismogram. Automatic ray-code generation will eliminate such problems. In this study we have developed an efficient algorithm, with which one can generate systemastically all the ray-codes connecting source and receiver arbitrarily located. The result of this work will helpful in analysing multiple reflections in seismic data processing as well as simulating Lg wave and multiply reflected or converted phases in earthquake study.

큰 규모의 불규칙 조면에 의한 전자파 전파 특성 (Electromagnetic Wave Propagation Characteristics from Large Scale Random Rough Surfaces)

  • 본 논문에서는 비교적 큰 규모의 불규칙 조면에 의한 산란 특성을 예측하기 위해 ray tracing 기법을 적용하였다. 전자계를 평가하기 위하여, 회절 레이(ray)에 대해서 knife edge 회절에 의한 회절 계수를 사용하였고, 반사 레이에 관해서는 Fresnel의 반사 계수를 사용하였다. 또한 레이 추적 방법에는 수신기에 도달하는 모든 레이의 경로를 정확히 찾아주는 image method를 채용하였으며, 불규칙 조면에 회절계를 고려하였다. 파도 모양의 조면에 의한 산란 특성과 빌딩 모양의 표면에 의한 지연 확산(delay spread) 특성에 대해 수치 계산하였다. 불규칙 조면에 의한 산란 특성을 수치적으로 해석하는데 ray tracing 기법을 적용하여 그 유효성을 입증하였다.

전반사를 이용한 자연채광 블라인드 디자인 (A Blind Design of Sunlighting Using Total Reflection)

  • 본 논문은 자연채광용 새로운 블라인드 디자인을 제시하고 있다. 소재는 투명하지만, 블라인드 단면이 한 변이 직각형인 사다리꼴 형태이다. 블라인드의 소재는 PMMA 이다. 한 변이 직각형인 사다리꼴 형태에서, 블라인드의 정면은 지면에 수직으로 형성되나, 그 후면은 전면 쪽으로 약간 기울어져 있다. 전면에서 입사된 빛은 경사진 후면에 의하여 전반사되어 진다. 만약, 단면에서 후면의 경사각이 $15^{\circ}$이면, 태양고도가 $45^{\circ}$ 보다 낮을 때 태양 빛이 블라인드를 투과하게 되나, 그 보다 높을 때에는 창밖으로 반사시키게 된다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 블라인드는 기존의 블라인드 장치에 블라인드만 교체하여 적용이 가능하며, 비록 투명하지만 한 낯의 태양빛을 모두 전반사시켜 되돌려 보낸다. 재료가 투명하기 때문에 창밖의 외부를 볼 수 있다. 본 제시된 디자인에서 후면의 다양한 경사각에 대하여 태양의 고도에 따른 전반사 효과를 시뮬레이션하였다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 블라인드 디자인에 의하여 전반사 일어나고 있음을 확인하였으며, 한 낯의 태양빛을 차단하는 효과적인 수단임을 알 수 있었다.

  • 마이크로셀 환경에서의 수신전력 및 지연 프로파일 예측을 위한 전파경로 추적법에 적용하기 위하여 반사지점을 찾는 방법인 개선된 영상기법과 반사 횟수에 따른 다중경로파 수를 계산하는 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법을 이용한 전파경로 추적모텔을 이용하여, 여러가지 형태의 환경 구조 및 다중경로파 수에 대한 시뮬레이션 결과를 보였다 또한 예측모델의 신뢰성을 검증하기 위하여 도로 양쪽을 따라 배치된 아파트 단지 내에서의 측정한 측정치와 시뮬레이션 결과를 비교 검토 하므로서 적절한 반사 횟수를 제안하였다.

  • In order to develop a simple ray tracing model for simulating the radiation pattern of a LED, the propagation of a ray within the LED capsule was systematically evaluated by considering refraction and reflection from the capsule-air interface, multiple reflection within the capsule, and total internal reflection at the boundary. It was found that concentric ring shapes on the radiation pattern was formed by the rays multiple-reflected from the capsule surface, and that the strength of these rays were decreased rapidly as the number of multiple reflection is increased.

  • Both ground and space telescopes are being built larger and larger. Accordingly, the secondary mirrors become larger which are convex mostly on the surface form. Testing convex mirrors becomes more difficult and delicate than testing concave mirrors in optics, because additional optical components are needed to make the reflected rays converge. Hindle type tests are frequently used for measuring the surface deforms of convex mirrors, which employs a meniscus lens to reverse the diverted rays from the mirrors. In case of testing large convex mirrors by using Hindle type tests, attention would be needed as larger meniscus lens is required. A method of modified Hindle test has been studied and the characteristics are analyzed. In this paper, current method of testing convex mirrors is presented, and a new method is discussed.

  • A two dimensional large scale laser digitizer with a cordless cursor was developed. The coordinate detecting scheme of this digitizer is fundamentally based on the triangulation method, in which two laser-rays are scanned by the rotating plane mirros, reflected backward by the cursor, reflected again by the rotating mirrors, and detected by optical sensors. From angles in which the cursor reflections are detected, we can determine the position of the cursor. But this method involves several problems about optical alignment and its calibration especially when it is applied to a large scale digitizer. In this paper, especially we propose simulation for error analysis with connection to angles measured at five control points which are needed to decide an appropriate model for calculating coordinates and optimal simulation for deciding the position of five control points to give the better coordinate accuracy. In this way, we realized the on-site calibration and on-site insurance of measurement accuracy with our appropriate model for calculating coordinates. The time required for on-site calibration is within 5 minutes and the average accuracy of 4m * 3m digitizer is about .+-.0.12mm.
