진동환경에 강인한 순차적 측정 오차 공분산값을 이용한 적응 자세 결정 (Vibration-Robust Adaptive Attitude Reference System Using Sequential Measurement Noise Covariance)

  • 본 논문은 관성 항법 시스템(Inertial Navigation System)을 활용한 자세 및 방향 결정시스템(Attitude & Heading Reference System)의 성능을 향상시키기 위한 새로운 기법인, 순차적 측정 오차 공분산(Sequential Measurement Noise Covariance) 기법을 제시하였다. 관성 센서는 시간이 지남에 따라 발생하는 적분오차와 진동이나 가속구간과 같은 외란이 가해 졌을 때 성능이 저하된다는 단점이 있다. 특히, 저가의 관성 센서의 경우 이러한 현상이 더욱 두드러지게 나타난다. 이를 극복하기 위한 알고리즘들은 많이 존재한다. 하지만 가장 일반적으로 사용되는 확장 칼만 필터의 경우 가속도계를 사용할 때 측정값(Measurement)이 일정 범위를 넘어가면 센서값을 배제하는 방법을 사용한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 기법은 범위를 설정하지 않고 과거의 데이터를 순차적으로 활용하여 측정값의 가중치를 변화하는 기법이다. 최종적으로 제안된 기법을 수치 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였다.

  • 상시관측소는 GPS 측량에서 높은 정확도를 제공하며, GPS 사용자가 두 대의 수신기를 사용해야하는 필요를 제거함으로써 GPS 측위를 향상시킨다. 이전에는, 사용자에게 상시관측소로부터 제공된 자료를 후처리함으로써 수행되어졌다. 그러나 RTK-GPS 측량을 이용한 실시간 처리로 향상될 때 상시관측소의 능률은 최대가 될 것이며, 그 이유는 사용자가 기준점을 이용하지 않고서도 실시간으로 cm급의 정확도를 획득할 수 있기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 인터넷을 통해 RINEX 형태로 제공되는 GPS 상시관측소 자료와 기존의 삼각점을 이용해 관측망을 형성하고 임의점의 좌표를 추출하였다. 또한, 기준점으로써 추출된 임의점을 이용해 RTK GPS를 수행하였다.

기준표적상의 미세구조가 초음파 후방산란에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Microstructure on Reference Target on Ultrasonic Backscattering)

  • This paper is based on our comments and proposed amendments to the documents, Annex A, Phantom for determining Maximum Depth of Penetration, and Annex B, Local Dynamic Range Using Acoustical Test Objects 87/400/CDV. IEC 61391-2 Ed. 1.0 200X, prepared by IEC technical Committee 87; Ultrasonics. The documents are concerned with the influence of microstructure of reference target material on the ultrasonic backscattering. Previous works on the attenuation due to backreflection and backscattering of reference target materials are reviewed. The drawback to the use of ungraded stainless steel and metallic materials without microstructural data such as, crystal structure, basic acoustic data of sound velocity and attenuation, grain size, roughness and elastic constants has been discussed. The analysis suggested that the insightful conclusion can be made by differentiating the influence arising from target size and microstructure on the backscattering measurements. The microstructural parameters are associated with physical, geometrical, acoustical and mechanical origins of variation with frequency. Further clarification of such a diverse source mechanisms for ultrasonic backscattering would make the target material and its application for medical diagnosis and therapy simpler and more reliable.

인듐틴옥사이드와 몰리브데늄을 이용한 외부 기준 저항이 필요 없는 온도센서 (Temperature sensor without reference resistor by indium tin oxide and molybdenum)

  • Display quality depends on panel temperatures. To compensate it, temperature sensor was integrated on the panel. The conventional temperature sensor integrated on the panel needs external reference resistor. Since the resistance of external resistor can vary according to the variation of the environment temperature, the conventional temperature sensor can make error in temperature sensing. The environmental temperatures can change by the back light unit, driving circuits or chips. In this paper, we proposed a integrated temperature sensor on display panel which does not need external reference resister. Instead of external reference resistor, we used two materials which have different temperature coefficient in resistivity. They are connected serially and the output voltage was measured at the point of connection with the applied voltage to both ends. The proposed sensor was fabricated with indium tin oxide(ITO), and Mo metal electrode temperature sensor which were connected serially. We verified the temperature senor by the measurements of sensitivity, lineality, hysteresis, repeatability, stability, and accuracy.

국토지리정보원 기준국 사용 Network RTK 테스트베드 구축 (Construction of Network RTK Testbed Using Reference Stations of NGII)

  • In this paper, a test bed for real-time network Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) research was constructed using reference stations of the NGII. A group of candidate station networks was derived, including three stations in Seoul. The group consisted of four stations with a distance of less than 100 km between them. Among several candidates, a network composed of stations with short distances between them and demonstrating good data quality for all reference stations was selected as the test bed. After collecting real-time data in Radio Technical Committee for Maritime services (RTCM) format from the selected stations and conducting a noise analysis on measurements, mm-level carrier phase measurement noise was confirmed. Afterwards, the user set the reference station inside the test bed and analyzed the network RTK positioning performance of the MAC method using the GPS L1 frequency as post-processing. From the result of the analysis it was confirmed that the residual error for all users was within 10 cm after applying the correction. Additionally, after determining integer ambiguities through Least-squares AMBiguity Decorrelation Adjustment (LAMBDA), it was confirmed that the fix rate was 100%, and all ambiguities were resolved as true values.

온라인 의류 쇼핑 사이트의 제품 사이즈 정보 실태 분석 - 여성용 바지를 중심으로 - (Sizing Communications on Online Apparel Retail Websites - Focusing on Ready-to-Wear Women's Pants -)

  • This study aims to analyze the sizing information of women's ready-to-wear pants as indicated on online retail websites and to suggest better sizing communication that can assist customers in making successful apparel size selections. We gathered size specifications and size reference information for basic straight pants from 34 online apparel retail websites. Although the Korean standard recommends labeling the body dimension-based sizing code and specification, most websites preferred to use various types of sizing codes. Body measurements were only used by a few websites, and garment dimension descriptions were the most common method to indicate product size. Many websites provided size reference information through customer review boards and fit model images, however, there was insufficient body size information to allow customers to infer the fit of their body type. When using the size guidance tools, the major data input points were stature and weight measurements. However, the waist measurements of pants sizes guided only by stature and weight values revealed inconsistent ease allowance for corresponding body size populations, especially in the overweight group. Based on our findings, we propose a more effective method of communicating the size information of pants online. We expect that this will contribute to the efficiency of online apparel product display and build a better shopping environment that satisfies both sellers and consumers.

Underwater Navigation of AUVs Using Uncorrelated Measurement Error Model of USBL

  • This article presents a modeling method for the uncorrelated measurement error of the ultra-short baseline (USBL) acoustic positioning system for aiding navigation of underwater vehicles. The Mahalanobis distance (MD) and principal component analysis are applied to decorrelate the errors of USBL measurements, which are correlated in the x- and y-directions and vary according to the relative direction and distance between a reference station and the underwater vehicles. The proposed method can decouple the radial-direction error and angular direction error from each USBL measurement, where the former and latter are independent and dependent, respectively, of the distance between the reference station and the vehicle. With the decorrelation of the USBL errors along the trajectory of the vehicles in every time step, the proposed method can reduce the threshold of the outlier decision level. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, simulation studies were performed with motion data obtained from a field experiment involving an autonomous underwater vehicle and USBL signals generated numerically by matching the specifications of a specific USBL with the data of a global positioning system. The simulations indicated that the navigation system is more robust in rejecting outliers of the USBL measurements than conventional ones. In addition, it was shown that the erroneous estimation of the navigation system after a long USBL blackout can converge to the true states using the MD of the USBL measurements. The navigation systems using the uncorrelated error model of the USBL, therefore, can effectively eliminate USBL outliers without loss of uncontaminated signals.

L1/L2 측정치 조합을 이용한 GPS 기준국간 반송파 미지정수 결정 기법 (Ambiguity Determination Technique for Multiple GPS Reference Stations using the Combination of L1/L2 Carrier Phase)

  • 본 논문에서는 Network RTK 보정정보 생성 프로세스에서 핵심 process인 기준국간 미지정수 결정을 위해 Hatch filter를 이용한 방법과 L1/L2 측정치 조합을 활용하는 방법에 대해 소개하고 시뮬레이션 데이터 및 실측 데이터를 활용하여 그 성능을 비교 및 검증하였다. 각각의 방법에 대해 수식 전개를 수행하였으며, 사용자 성능 검증을 위해서 다중 기준국 네트워크에 대해 생성한 보정정보와 사용자 위치에서 생성한 보정정보의 차이값을 비교하였다. 각각의 기준국간 미지정수 결정 방법을 실측 데이터에 적용하여 사용자 성능을 예측한 결과, Hatch filter를 사용한 경우에는 단일 기준국 RTK 기반의 방법에 비해 다중 기준국 네트워크에서 생성된 보정정보를 사용하는 것이 사용자 성능을 크게 향상시키는 결과를 확인하였다. 그러나 사용자의 미지정수에 영향은 없으나, 상당한 크기의 바이어스 오차가 포함되는 것을 확인하였고 그 원인에 대해 분석하였다. L1/L2 측정치 조합을 이용한 경우, Hatch filter를 사용한 방법에 비해 사용자에 발생하는 오차의 크기가 훨씬 감소하였으며 잔차의 경향성도 훨씬 감소한 것을 확인하였다.

다중모델 칼만 필터를 이용한 무추력 비행체의 대기속도 추정 (Robust Airspeed Estimation of an Unpowered Gliding Vehicle by Using Multiple Model Kalman Filters)

  • The article discusses an issue of estimating the airspeed of an autonomous flying vehicle. Airspeed is the difference between ground speed and wind speed. It is desirable to know any two among the three speeds for navigation, guidance and control of an autonomous vehicle. For example, ground speed and position are used to guide a vehicle to a target point and wind speed and airspeed are used to maximize flight performance such as a gliding range. However, the target vehicle has not an airspeed sensor but a ground speed sensor (GPS/INS). So airspeed or wind speed has to be estimated. Here, airspeed is to be estimated. A vehicle's dynamics and its dynamic parameters are used to estimate airspeed with attitude and angular speed measurements. Kalman filter is used for the estimation. There are also two major sources arousing a robust estimation problem; wind speed and altitude. Wind speed and direction depend on weather conditions. Altitude changes as a vehicle glides down to the ground. For one reference altitude, multiple model Kalman filters are pre-designed based on several reference airspeeds. We call this group of filters as a cluster. Filters of a cluster are activated simultaneously and probabilities are calculated for each filter. The probability indicates how much a filter matches with measurements. The final airspeed estimate is calculated by summing all estimates multiplied by probabilities. As a vehicle glides down to the ground, other clusters that have been designed based on other reference altitudes are activated. Some numerical simulations verify that the proposed method is effective to estimate airspeed.

기준음원의 교정 절차 개발 및 불확도 평가 사례 (Development of the calibration procedure of the reference sound source and case study on the uncertainty evaluation)

  • 기준음원은 음향파워 측정에 활용되는 중요한 기준기로, 국제 표준으로 그 사양이 규정되어 있으며, 측정 표준 분야에서 주요 교정 품목으로 분류되고 있다. 이러한 기준음원은 공급 전압에 의하여 그 출력이 영향을 받기 때문에 각국에서 자체적으로 교정 서비스 체계를 확보할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 잔향실 조건에서 기준음원을 교정하는 절차를 수립하고 불확도를 평가하였다. 교정 절차는 기본적으로 음향 파워의 정밀급 측정과정을 적용할 수 있으며, 여기서는 ISO 3741의 잔향실을 활용한 측정 방법을 검토하였다. 이를 위한 측정 시스템을 구성하고 실제 2종의 기준 음원에 대하여 측정을 수행하고 측정 불확도를 산출하였다. 측정 예를 통하여 잔향실 내 음압 분포의 불균일성과 체적 측정 불확도가 전체 불확도에 기여가 큰 것을 확인하였다. 추가적으로 입력 전압에 대한 영향을 실험적으로 검토하여 음향 파워 측정에서 반영할 수 있는 불확도 기여량을 검토하였다.
