알칼리 환원수 필터의 산화환원전위 안정화 평가 (Evaluation of the Stability of Oxidation-Reduced Potential (ORP) Using the Filter of the Alkaline Water)

  • 본 연구는 알칼리 환원수기에 3가지 필터(활성카본, 중공사막, 카본블럭)를 이용해서 원수를 통과시켜 통수 양에 따른 산화환원전위(Oxidation Reduction Potential) ORP값이 안정화되는 것을 평가한 것이다. 알칼리 환원수기는 환원의 기능을 가지고 있는 물을 만드는 시스템으로 인체에 유익한 미네랄과 ORP값이 일반 물에 비해 매우 낮은 값을 가지고 있는 기능수이다. 필터를 통과한 물을 전기 분해하면 물속에 있는 음이온과 양이온은 격막을 통해서 -전극 쪽에는 칼슘($Ca^+$), 칼륨($K^+$), 마그네슘($Mg^+$), 나트륨($Na^+$)을 포함한 물로 인체에 유익한 미네랄이 포함된 알칼리 환원수를 얻고 +극에는 염소(Cl),인(P),유황(S)등 - 이온을 띄고 있는 유기물이 만들어 진다. 실험에서 알칼리 환원수(Alkaline Reduced Water)에서 전기분해의 전압의 크기를 조절하여 1단(pH8), 2단(pH8.5), 3단(pH9), 4단(pH9.5)으로 알칼리 환원수에 사용되고 -1단(pH6.0), -2단(pH5.0)의 산성산화수로 사용하고 있다. 이러한 시스템으로 3가지 필터에 통수하면서 ORP값이 어떻게 변화하고 어느 정도에서 안정화되는지를 평가하였고 대략 100L는 통수되어야 ORP값이 안정화하는 것을 측정하고 평가하였다.

동적 해석의 효율적 축소기법에 관한 연구 (Study on the Efficient Dynamic System Condensation)

  • 축소시스템 기법은 전체 구조의 거동을 나타내는 저차 고유모드를 근사화한다. 지난 연구에서 축소 시스템을 구축하기 위한 2단계 축소기법을 제안하였다. 첫 단계에서 리츠벡터를 이용한 각 요소의 레일리 지수를 통해 요소 에너지를 예측 하고 이를 토대로 후보영역을 선정한다. 다음 단계에서 후보영역에 포함된 자유도로 축소된 1단계 축소 시스템에 순차적 소거법을 적용하여 최종적인 주자유도를 선정한다. 이번 연구에서는 2단계 축소 기법에 축소시스템 개선을 위한 반복적 기법을 적용하여 중간영역에서의 고차모드의 정확도를 추가적인 시스템의 확장없이 구하는 방법을 제안한다. 이 방법은 축소시스템에서 고유치와 고유모드의 정확도를 조절하는 것까지도 가능하다. 최종적으로 제안된 기법의 성능을 수치 예제를 통해 검증한다.

Reduced LS-SVM을 이용한 지역난방 동절기 공동주택 난방부하의 모델링 (Modeling of Winter Time Apartment Heating Load in District Heating System Using Reduced LS-SVM)

  • A model of apartment heating load in a district heating system could be useful in the management and utilization of energy resources, since it could predict energy usage and so could assist in the efficient use of energy resources. The heating load in a district heating system varies in a highly nonlinear manner and is subject to many different factors, such as heating area, number of people living in that complex, and ambient temperature. Thus there are few published papers with accurate models of heating load, especially in domestic literature. This work is concerned with the modeling of apartment heating load in a district heating system in winter, using the reduced least square support vector machine (LS-SVM), and with the purpose of using the model to predict heating energy usage in domestic city area. We collected 23,856 pieces of data on heating energy usage over a 12-week period in winter, from 12 heat exchangers in five apartments. Half of the collected data were used to construct the heating load model, and the other half were used to test the model's accuracy. The model was able to predict the heating energy usage pattern rather accurately. It could also estimate the usage of heating energy within of mean absolute percentage error. This implies that the model prediction accuracy needs to be improved further, but it still could be considered as an acceptable model if we consider the nonlinearity and uncertainty of apartment heating energy usage in a district heating system.

전기자동차 구동시스템 설계 (Design of Drive System for Electric Vehicle)

  • This paper presents a design method of driving system for EV(Electric Vehicle). EV driving system consist of batteries, battery interface system and inverter. The power control circuit of the driving system is simple, since only one PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) inverter is used. These test spectrums and waveforms can be used to determine the filter component ratings as well as to compute the harmonics injected into the source. The hybrid control strategy which can reduced harmonic components. The analysis results indicate that the required capacity of the condenser can be reduced with LC filter. In this paper, the design and implementation of the proposed systems are described and some experimental results are given to show the performance of this driving system. The control strategy of the system to available inverter's power and motor's power and torque is discussed.

마이크로채널과 핀 튜브 열교환기를 적용한 가정용 에어컨디셔너의 성능 평가 (Evaluation of Performance of a Residential Air-Conditioning System Using Microchannel and Fin-and-Tube Heat Exchanger)

  • In this study the seasonal performance of a residential air conditioning system having either a fin-and-tube condenser or a microchannel condenser is experimentally investigated. A commercially available 7 kW capacity residential air conditioning system having a fin-and-tube condenser served as the base system. The test results show that the system with a microchannel heat exchanger has a reduced refrigerant charge amount of 10%, the coefficient of performance is increased by 6% to 10%, and the SEER is increased by 7% as compared with those of the base system. Moreover, the condensing pressure of the system is decreased by 100 kPa and the pressure drop across the condenser is decreased by 84%. The microchannel heat exchanger enhances the SEER of the residential air conditioning system by providing better heat transfers at reduced pressure drops.

  • For the real-time power system analysis, there exists a limitation to the scale of the system to be simulated, hence it is necessary for the real-time simulation to develop reduced equivalent systems which preserve the desired property of the original system. In this paper, a procedure for developing an equivalent system whose scale is reduced within the hardware capacity of a real-time simulator is proposed. Also, the proposed procedure is applied to a KEPCO's system. The comparison between the original system and equivalent systems illustrates the capabilities of the proposed procedure.

회전 시스템의 수학적 모델과 간소화된 시스템의 선형 특성 연구 (A Study of the Linear Analysis of an Equivalently Reduced System from the Original Torsional System)

  • In order to analyze the vibro-impacts in the torsional system, several clearance types of nonlinearities should be included with the analytical or numerical method. These kinds of nonlinear factors can cause the errors while the system is calculated specifically with the numerical method, also it might take too long to get right answers with the every nonlinearity in the original system. Therefore, there are several methods developed for the sake of overcoming the deficiency of the analysis with the original system and saving the calculating time. The original system can be reduced by keeping the system characteristics such as from 14 to 6 DOF. Especially, since the torque flow in the torsional system is connected with the specific gear ratios, the original system can be transferred into the simpler system corresponding to each gear ratio rather than the original system, which can also show the same system characteristics such as the natural frequencies and the mode shapes. By using the reduced system, the calculating time can be saved and the redundant nonlinear effects for the system analysis can be ignored without any numerical errors.

전동식 안전벨트 시스템의 선형 상태 관측기 설계 (A Design of Linear State Observers for Motorized Seat Belt System)

  • This paper describes a design and a verification of linear state observers for a motorized seat belt system to estimate state information such as angular velocity and load torque. The motorized seat belt system provides functions to protect passengers and improve passenger's convenience. To realize these functions, sensors which can measure an angular velocity and load torque are needed. By use of the linear state observer, state information can be estimated without sensors. The motorized seat belt system is analysed and represented as a state space model which contains load torque as an augmented state. By the developed state space model, a full and reduced order observer are designed and verified by experiments. The full and reduced order observer are also compared from points of view of execution time and noise robustness.

Waste treatment with the pilot scale ATAD and EGSB pig slurry management system followed by sequencing batch treatment

  • Experiments for highly concentrated contaminants in pig waste slurry were carried out for the feasibility test of a pilot-scale innovative process scheme of engaging autothermal thermophilic aerobic digestion (ATAD) and expended granular sludge bed (EGSB) followed by sequencing batch reactor (SBR) system. Contaminants in pig waste slurry such as organic substance, total nitrogen (TN), ammonia nitrogen and total phosphorus (TP) contents were successfully reduced in the system. Total volatile solids (TVS) and chemical oxygen demands (COD) for organic matter in the feed were 32.92 g/L and 42.55 g/L respectively, and they were reduced by about 98.7% and 99.2%, respectively in the system. The overall removal efficiencies for TN and ammonium nitrogen were found to be 98.1 and 98.5%, respectively. The overall removal efficiency for total phosphorus was also found to be 92.5%. Faecal coliform density was reduced to <$1.2{\times}10^4CFU/g$ total solids. Biogas and $CH_4$ were produced in the range of 0.39-0.85 and $0.25-0.62m^3/kg$ [VS removed], respectively. The biogas produced in the system comprised of $295{\pm}26ppm$ (v/v) [$H_2S$].

유도전동기의 극저속도 운전을 위한 순시속도 관측기에 관한 연구 (A study on Instantaneous Speed Observer for Very Low Speed Drive of Induction Motors)

  • 논문에서는 극저속 영역 및 저속 영역에서 안정적이고 동특성이 우수한 벡터제어 시스템을 구성하여, 축소차원 상태관측기를 이용한 순시속도 관측기와 극저속 제어에 관한 방법을 제안하였다. 본 시스템에서 제안된 관측기는 축소차원 상태관측기를 부하토크 추정에 적용하여 속도추정에 이용함으로서 시스템구성을 간단히 구현하면서도 극저속 영역에서 정확한 순시속도 추정이 가능하였다. 또한, 시스템 잡음에 의한 영향을 줄이고, 관측기의 극을 변화시키는 일 없이 부하외란이나 모델화 오차, 측정 잡음 등에 강인한 유도전동기 속도제어 시스템을 제시하였다.
