정보통신 발달로 인해 전자기록의 중요성이 커지기 시작하였고 이메일기록, 데이터 세트와 같은 전자기록의 기록학적 가치와 관리방안에 대해 논의가 진행되어 왔다. 한편 기관 내부에서는 디지털 커뮤니케이션 시스템 사용률이 증가하기 시작하였으며 디지털 커뮤니케이션 도구의 증거적 가치를 인정하고 있다. 이런 흐름 속에서 본 연구는 커뮤니케이션 도구 중 하나인 메신저기록의 중요성을 논의하고 효율적인 메신저기록 관리 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 문헌조사를 수행하여 국가기록원, NARA, TNA, NAA, LAC의 메신저기록 관리현황을 조사, 비교하였고 국내 10개 기관 실무자들의 심층 면담을 수행한 뒤, 부족한 부분은 이메일로 보완하였다. 이를 통해 실무자가 사용하기에 업무적으로 보다 효율적이며 기록 관리 관점에서도 가치 있는 관리 모형을 제안하였다.

최근 공표된 국내외 기록관리시스템 기능요건 표준은 기록관리 핵심 기능뿐 아니라 시스템관리와 선택적인 기능의 요건을 포함하여 상세한 수준에서 요건 기술을 하고 있다. 기능요건은 전자기록 관리의 실무 경험을 토대로 만들어지며, 정보기술의 표준화를 기반으로 전자기록 실무가 표준화되어 가는 추세에 따라 기능요건 표준들도 점차 내용적 공통성을 확보해 가고 있다. 또한, 기록관리전문가, 정보기술 전문가, 컨설턴트, 기록관리 응용패키지 벤더 등 다양한 전문가 그룹의 참여와 협력으로 만들어진 기능요건은 품질 수준이 향상되고 있을 뿐만 아니라 국제적 표준화의 경향도 높아지고 있다. 선진 모범 실무를 기반으로 만들어진 기록관리시스템 기능요건 표준을 벤치마킹하여 실무적 해석을 통해 유용한 시사점을 얻을 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 기록관리의 핵심이라 할 수 있는 분류와 처분 영역의 기능요건을 기록관리 업무와 연관하여 해석함으로써 우리나라 전자기록 실무에 의미있는 시사점을 얻고자 한다. 첫 번째로 분류의 계층 수를 고정적인 개수로 제한할 필요가 있는지, 분류의 말단에만 편철을 해야 하는지를 논의해 보고, 두 번째로 보유기간 기산일을 이벤트 방식으로 설정하는 방식의 특징과 상속개념을 이용하여 다중의 처분지침을 적용하는 방법에 대해 살펴보고, 세 번째로 기록관리가 조직의 규제준수와 위험관리에 대응하는 대안이 되어야 한다는 전제하에 각종 규제에 적극적으로 대응하기 위해 필요한 처분보류와 해제 기능에 대해 알아본다. 마지막으로 기록관리시스템이 기록관리자의 유용한 도구가 되기 위해 필수적인 기능인 대량 일괄작업에 대해 예시하고 있다. 기록관리자들은 기록관리시스템 기능요건 표준을 실무적 관점에서 해석할 줄 알아야 하며, 실무에 필요한 요건을 도출하여 전문적인 전자기록관리 업무 수행의 주요 도구인 기록관리시스템을 고도화해 나갈 수 있어야 한다. 국가기록원은 기록관리시스템 기능요건 표준의 적용 범위를 확대하여 다양한 이해당사자들이 공통의 기반에서 효과적, 효율적으로 전자기록관리 실무를 집행할 수 있는 토대를 마련해 가야 할 것이다.

전통적 종이기록물에서 전자기록물로 중심을 옮기고 있는, 21세기 기록관리 패러다임의 전환은 기록관리학에서 전자적 형태의 기록 정보의 생산, 관리, 보존 및 활용과 관련된 정보학 영역의 중요성을 더하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 2000년부터 2008년까지의 기록관리학 관련 5개 학회지에 발표된 연구 성과 중, 전자기록물 및 정보기술을 중심으로 한 정보학 영역의 기록관리학 연구동향을 조사 분석하였다. 그 결과 정보학 영역을 중심으로 한 기록관리학 연구논문은 총 99건이었으며, 양적으로 계속 증가되고 있었다. 연구자들이 선호한 주제영역은 메타데이터, 전자 기록물, 디지털 아카이빙(아카이브), 정보(기록물)공개 등의 순으로 나타났다.

The primary function of an electronic records management system (ERMS) is to support organisations in providing effective records management services by enabling efficient remote access to the organisations' records. This helps the organisation to continue running during emergency events, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. The need to study ERMS for accessing records remotely has increased dramatically, due to the increase in daily use. The situation arising from the COVID-19 pandemic has increased the need for implementing proper digital systems, such as ERMS, to enable efficient work processes and enhance business continuity. An ERMS has the potential to allow organisations to create records and workflows off-site. During a pandemic, the ability to structure processes digitally helps in maintaining operations remotely. This study aims to provide a narrative review of the ERMS literature with an emphasis on explaining the primary components of ERMS that act as enablers for the implementation of the system in the oil and gas sector of developing countries. The current study proposes ERMS roles and responsibilities that could enhance business continuity. The authors use a qualitative narrative review and analyse the literature related to this study and its findings. The results show that, in cases of risk or crises, staff members need to have easy access to their records and documents to remain productive. An ERMS allows professionals to remain active and work off-site. Thus, ERMS play a significant role in protecting an organisation's content through the monitoring and control over who has authorisation to access its records.

본 연구의 목적은 성바오로딸수도회 한국관구가 생산·수집한 기록물의 체계적 관리와 이용을 위해 기록분류체계를 개선하는 것이다. 먼저 성바오로딸수도회의 설립 이념과 한국관구의 연혁을 조사한 뒤 조직의 구조를 파악하고 수도회 기록관리 현황을 조사하였다. 그리고 기록물 분류를 위해 기능과 조직(생산주체), 유형에 따른 분류방법을 채택하였다. 이어서 현재 한국관구에서 사용하는 분류체계의 틀이 되는 총원 역사문서고의 분류체계를 조사하고 기존 한국관구 분류체계에서 개선할 점을 점검하여 수정 보완한 기록분류체계를 제안하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 성바오로딸수도회 기록분류체계 개선에 활용되고 가톨릭 수도회의 분류체계 개발에 기초자료가 될 수 있을 것이다.

There are many kinds of research on web graph, most of them are focus on the hyperlinked structure of the web graph. Well known results on the web graph are rich-get-richer phenomenon, small-world phenomenon, scale-free network, etc. In this paper, we define 3 new directed web graph, so called the Web Usage Pattern Graph (WUPG), that nodes represent web sites arid arcs between nodes represent a movement between two sites by users' browsing behavior. The data to constructing the WUPG, approximately 56,000 records, are gathered from some users' PCs. The results analysing the data summarized as follows : (i) extremely rich-get-richer phenomenon (ii) average path length between sites is significantly less than the previous one (iii) less external hyperlinks, more internal hyperlinks.

Availability, awareness and use of electronic resources provide access to authoritative, reliable, accurate and timely access to information. The use of electronic information resources (EIRs) can enable innovation in teaching and increase timeliness in research of postgraduate students which will eventual result into encouragement of the expected research-led enquiry in this digital age. The study adopted a descriptive survey design. Samples of 300 of postgraduate students within seven out 13 Faculties were randomly selected. Data were collected using questionnaire designed to elicit response from respondents and data were analyzed using descriptive statistics methods percentages, mean, and standard deviation. Results indicated that internet was ranked most available and used in the university. Low level of usage of electronic resources, in particular, full texts data bases is linked to a number of constraints: Interrupted power supply was ranked highest among other factors as speed and capacity of computers, retrieval of records with high recall and low precision, retrieving records relevant to information need, lack of knowledge of search techniques to retrieve information effectively, non possession of requisite IT skills and problems accessing the internet. The study recommended that usage of electronic resources be made compulsory, intensifying awareness campaigns concerning the availability, training on use of electronic resources and the problem of power outage be addressed.

Extensible Storage Engine (ESE) 데이터베이스는 Microsoft가 개발한 데이터베이스로 Internet Explorer, Spartan과 같은 웹브라우저와 Windows Search, System Resource Usage Monitor와 같은 윈도우 시스템에서 주요하게 사용된다. 기존의 ESE 데이터베이스 뷰어는 잘못된 값을 출력할 수 있고 수집 환경과 파일의 상태에 따라 파일을 읽지 못하는 경우가 존재한다. 또한 삭제된 레코드 복구 도구는 일부 프로그램에 한정적이고 모든 테이블을 복구하지 못한다. 본 논문에서는 ESE 데이터베이스 구조를 분석하여 개별 데이터베이스가 아닌 범용적으로 적용할 수 있는 삭제된 레코드의 복구 기법을 제안하며 이를 도구로 구현하여 실험한 결과를 제시한다.

대출기록은 공공도서관에 축적되는 다양한 이용데이터로 이용 행태 분석을 통해 도서관서비스 개선에 적극 반영할 수 있다. 본 연구는 강서 양천지역 공공도서관 2개관의 대출기록 754,198건을 대상으로 대출이용자 및 대출 횟수, 대출자료, 대출시간 및 대출요일 분석을 실시하였다. 분석을 통해 두 도서관의 주된 이용자 계층, 도서관 방문 횟수, 주로 이용되는 자료의 주제, 주로 이용되는 시간을 확인할 수 있었고, 근접하였지만 환경이 서로 다른 두 도서관의 유사한 이용행태를 밝혀냄으로써 대출기록의 활용방안을 제시하였다.

본 연구는 기록물관리법에 규정된 자료관의 업무분석을 통해 한국 자료관의 특징과 발전방향에 대해 논의한 것이다. 법에서 규정하고 있는 자료관의 업무는 기본적인 기록물관리 영역, 일반 간행물 및 도서관리 영역, 기타 각종 관리 영역의 업무가 포함된다. 업무영역 분석 결과, 한국의 자료관은 기록물의 계통별 관리, 통합된 기록물관리시스템의 지향, 생산단계로부터의 조정$\cdot$감독기능의 강화, 증거성 및 안정성 보호의 중시, 기록물의 분산보존, 기록물 이용촉진 등에 기여하였다. 자료관의 발전 방향으로 자료관 업무 내용$\cdot$절차$\cdot$방법의 상세화, 전문요원 배치의 보장, 이상적인 자료관 모델의 수립, 문헌정보학계와의 협력 강화, 지역정보센터로의 발전모색, 융통성 있는 자료관 설치, 공공기관의 법규이행에 대한 의지 고양 등을 제시하였다.
