Second, those who were female and who were more concerned about periodontal health were more likely to recognize coverage of dental scaling. Third, those who were female and who were more concerned about periodontal health were also more satisfied with the coverage. It is therefore necessary to make PRs by using teaching media positively as well as by giving correct information with the objective of improving recognition of dental scaling on a continuous basis.

  • Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate and review the previous researches about objective measuring fatigue caused by visual stimuli. Also, we analyze possibility of alternative visual fatigue measurement methods using facial expression recognition and gesture recognition. Background: In most previous researches, visual fatigue is commonly measured by survey or interview based subjective method. However, the subjective evaluation methods can be affected by individual feeling's variation or other kinds of stimuli. To solve these problems, signal and image processing based visual fatigue measurement methods have been widely researched. Method: To analyze the signal and image processing based methods, we categorized previous works into three groups such as bio-signal, brainwave, and eye image based methods. Also, the possibility of adopting facial expression or gesture recognition to measure visual fatigue is analyzed. Results: Bio-signal and brainwave based methods have problems because they can be degraded by not only visual stimuli but also the other kinds of external stimuli caused by other sense organs. In eye image based methods, using only single feature such as blink frequency or pupil size also has problem because the single feature can be easily degraded by other kinds of emotions. Conclusion: Multi-modal measurement method is required by fusing several features which are extracted from the bio-signal and image. Also, alternative method using facial expression or gesture recognition can be considered. Application: The objective visual fatigue measurement method can be applied into the fields of quantitative and comparative measurement of visual fatigue of next generation display devices in terms of human factor.

The handwashing survey tools of Korean CDC were used. As a result of analyzing data using SPSS/Win 23.0, there were differences in residential state, disease experience, and parental education level of subjects, handwashing practice was significantly higher in Nepal while higher handwashing recognition of Korea(p<.001). Among contents of handwashing practice, there were significant differences in drying methods, number of it with soap, time required, number of receiving education for it, and education methods. It is necessary to take measures to increase handwashing practice rate of Korea, while Nepal's is increasing by supplementing equipment and education even their handwashing recognition was low. This results are from a few middle school students in both countries by convenience sampling, therefore it is needed repeated studies with wider range of subjects.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest complementary measures to the statute legalizing the expansion of living space to balcony, by means of survey on the recognition and preference of preliminary applicants for new apartments. The survey was done on 130 preliminary applicants who visited 3 model houses opened in Cheongju in June to July, 2006. Conclusions are as follows. (1) Most of preliminary applicants knew that the expansion of living space to balcony were legalized, but were not quite aware of legal details, so that more active publicity is needed by the government. In addition, if the government has a plan to impose tax to expanded space, it has to make clear the definition of the balcony space. (2) Preliminary applicants wanted space expansion of living room, main bed room and children's bed room in order, which implies that constructors have to suggest variety of expansion plans overpassing simple space expansion. (3) Preliminary applicants attached importance on the safety of expanded space. The management office is recommended to have the right to superintend its safety after construction.

Methods: With a correlational survey design, a self-report survey was conducted and collected 1,132 responses from college students with dating experiences. Methods including descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression were used to analyze data. On the other hand they had significantly lower scores in sexual assault recognition than the compared group. A multiple regression model result forecasted parents' violence, sexual assault recognition, sexual violence permissiveness, and gender as prediction indicators of perpetrations of sexual violence. Conclusion: To prevent sexual violence while dating, domestic violence should be decreased through parents education and counseling from childhood. High-risk groups should be detected by surveying socio-psychological variables including experience of domestic violence, sexual assault recognition, and sexual violence permissiveness. It need to develop and implement sexual violence prevention programs to accurately inform and aware sexual violence.
