성인 남·녀 탈모 자가인식에 의한 두피관리실태 연구 (The research about Scalp treatments by self-recognition of adult's losing hair)

  • 본 연구에서는 20대와 30대를 대상으로 성별, 직업별, 모발의 굵기 등 다양한 탈모의 원인들을 통한 자가인식의 정도를 파악하고 이에 따른 두피관리 행위의 실태를 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 자료는 부산 경남지역에 거주하는 20대와 30대 262명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS version 12.0을 이용하였다. 연구문제와 관련하여 빈도, 백분율, ${\chi}^2$검정 등을 적용하였다. 이상의 연구 분석 결과로 탈모에 관한 자가인식이 두피관리의 행위요인으로 귀결시킴으로써 연구대상자의 행위정도를 가름할 수 있었다. 이는 20대와 30대에서도 탈모에 관한 자가인식이 높을 수록 두피관리행위 또한 잘 실천하고 있다는 사실을 반영하는 것으로 탈모에 관한 자가인식은 두피관리와 밀접한 관계임을 알 수 있었다.

사출성형에서 캐비티압력과 인장강도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Cavity Pressure and Tensile Strength of Injection Molding)

  • In this research, the tensile strength of molded parts and pressure distribution were analyzed to study the cavity filling stage and packing stage in injection molding. The measurement of cavity pressure was obtained by a data acquisition system with the installation of transducers in the cavity. Molded parts were tested by a universal testing machine to obtain the tensile strength. For the experimental work, the tensile strength of molded parts increased with longer packing time and exact freezing time of the gate was obtained by a cavity pressure curve. In addition, the effect of packing did not occur and tensile strength was almost constant after early 1.5 sec of the freezing time of gate. Density tended to be higher about 0.2% due to a larger degree of mold temperature and melt temperature. Also, changing pressure in the cavity was effectively sensed. Thereafter, the possibility of the development of pattern recognition expert system was confirmed on the basis of the experimental results.

  • One of the general methods to diagnose abnormalities of heart is stethoscopy. This method needs special skill and experiment of doctors and it lacks for objectivity. Electrocardiography(ECG) is another biomedical method which is commonly used to diagnoss abnormalities of heart. The development of PCG is required in recent years to improve objectivity of stethoscopy method. In this paper, PCG is implemented on personal computer and ECG is also included to help the analysis of PCG waveform. Time analysis is used so far, but in this paper the frequency analysis is also considered to improve the accuracy of disgonosis. As future research, recognition of PCG and ECG signal and the Expert System is required to improve the accuracy of diagnosis.

  • This paper presents the application of the wavelet transform analysis and the neural network method to the phonocardiogram (PCG) signal. Heart sound is a acoustic signal generated by cardiac valves, myocardium and blood flow and is a very complex and nonstationary signal composed of many source. Heart sound can be discriminated normal heart sound and heart murmur. Murmurs have broader frequency bandwidth than the normal ones and can occur at random position of cardiac cycle. In this paper, we classified the group of heart sound as normal heart sound(NO), pre-systolic murmur(PS), early systolic murmur(ES), late systolic murmur(LS), early diastolic murmur(ED). And we used the wavelet transform to shorten artifacts and strengthen the low level signal. The ANN system was trained and tested with the back- propagation algorithm from a large data set of examples-normal and abnormal signals classified by expert. The best ANN configuration occurred with 15 hidden layer neurons. We can get the accuracy of 85.6% by using the proposed algorithm.

  • The objective of this paper is to show how the fuzzy sets theory can be applied to the reservoir operation guidelines for agricultural purposes. The concepts of the theory has been resented as a new tool for the decision problems which contains fuzziness and it's application can be found in operations research, expert systems, robotics, fuzzy computers, and pattern recognition. The fuzzy control system for the reservoir operation composed of a set of reservoir operation rules and a fuzzy inference engine was built. Water demand for paddy fields, water availability, and inflow to a reservoir were selected as main factors which determine the magnitude of reservoir release. The behavior of the control system was evaluated for different level of water demand and the results seemed to be reasonable.

  • This paper presents an algorithm for real-time restoration of radially operated 154kV loop system. Restoration procedure consists of 4 procedures; recognition of faults, identification of fault locations, seperation of fault locations and restoration of blackout areas. This algorithm adopts expert's knowledge for safe and accurate operation of the real-time restoration system (APRS: Automatic Power Reconfiguration System).

  • An automatic pronunciation correction system provides users with correction guidelines for each pronunciation error. For this purpose, we propose a speech recognition system which automatically classifies pronunciation errors when Koreans speak a foreign language. In this paper, we also propose machine scoring methods for automatic assessment of pronunciation quality by the speech recognizer. Scores obtained from an expert human listener are used as the reference to evaluate the different machine scores and to provide targets when training some of algorithms. We use a log-likelihood score and a normalized log-likelihood score as machine scoring methods. Experimental results show that the normalized log-likelihood score had higher correlation with human scores than that obtained using the log-likelihood score.

간호사 경력개발시스템에 대한 인식도 조사 (Career Ladder System Perceived by Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate how nurses perceive the Career Ladder System(CLS). Methods: This study was a descriptive survey using questionnaires. Questionnaires were developed by an expert group. Participants included 161 nurses working in the Children's Hospital. The data were analyzed using factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, descriptive statistics, $x^2$-test and ANCOVA. Results: This study revealed that nurses who advanced in their career ladders have a significantly higher perception of participation in their professional activities and a general comprehension of the CLS more than the nurses who did not advance in their career ladders. However, nurses who advanced in their career ladders have a significantly lower perception of the expected outcome of the CLS more than nurses who did not. Conclusions: This result showed that nurses who had experienced in clinical advancement and recognition were highly motivated with their professional activities via the CLS as well as they considered it to allow professional growth.

  • Diagnostic prototype expert system was developed by analyzing the measured acoustical data of automobile. For the utilities of this system, 1/3 octave filter(band-pass filter) and A/D converter were used for data acquisition and then information was analyzed using signal processing technique and pattern recognition by Hamming network algorithm. In order to raise the reliability of the diagnostic results, fuzzy inference technique was applied and, the results were displayed as graphical method to help the novice in diagnostic field. The validation of this diagnostic system was checked through experiments and it showed and acceptable performance for diagnostic process.

Parallel Fuzzy Inference Method for Large Volumes of Satellite Images

  • In this pattern recognition on the large volumes of remote sensing satellite images, the inference time is much increased. In the case of the remote sensing data [5] having 4 wavebands, the 778 training patterns are learned. Each land cover pattern is classified by using 159, 900 patterns including the trained patterns. For the fuzzy classification, the 778 fuzzy rules are generated. Each fuzzy rule has 4 fuzzy variables in the condition part. Therefore, high performance parallel fuzzy inference system is needed. In this paper, we propose a novel parallel fuzzy inference system on T3E parallel computer. In this, fuzzy rules are distributed and executed simultaneously. The ONE_To_ALL algorithm is used to broadcast the fuzzy input to the all nodes. The results of the MIN/MAX operations are transferred to the output processor by the ALL_TO_ONE algorithm. By parallel processing of the fuzzy rules, the parallel fuzzy inference algorithm extracts match parallelism and achieves a good speed factor. This system can be used in a large expert system that ha many inference variables in the condition and the consequent part.
