Single-axis Hardware in the Loop Experiment Verification of ADCS for Low Earth Orbit Cube-Satellite

  • A 2U cube satellite called SNUGLITE has been developed by GNSS Research Laboratory in Seoul National University. Its main mission is to perform actual operation by mounting dual-frequency global positioning system (GPS) receivers. Its scientific mission aims to observe space environments and collect data. It is essential for a cube satellite to control an Earth-oriented attitude for reliable and successful data transmission and reception. To this end, an attitude estimation and control algorithm, Attitude Determination and Control System (ADCS), has been implemented in the on-board computer (OBC) processor in real time. In this paper, the Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) was employed as the attitude estimation algorithm. For the attitude control technique, the Linear Quadratic Gaussian (LQG) was utilized. The algorithm was verified through the processor in the loop simulation (PILS) procedure. To validate the ADCS algorithm in the ground, the experimental verification via a single axis Hardware-in-the-loop simulation (HILS) was used due to the simplicity and cost effectiveness, rather than using the 3-axis HILS verification (Schwartz et al. 2003) with complex air-bearing mechanism design and high cost.

방사선안전관리에 대한 조사 : 의료기관 방사선조사자를 중심으로 (Study on the safety management of radiation: centering on the radiation workers in medical institutions)

  • While the use of radiation in the medical field provides diagnosis and treatment with important benefits, we cannot deny that the radiation bombing causes some hindrances. The expansion of radiation use in modem medicine is essential, so the radiation use and preparation of proper measure for safety management has risen as a pressing subject. Therefore, in order to make defensive plans for the prevention of health obstacles to general users of radiation and for the provision of basic data of the health education programs to radiation workers by grasping the knowledge, attitude and behavior towards the radiation safety management of radiation workers in each medical institution and by analyzing the factors that affect the actions of radiation safety management, in this study we conducted questionnaires from September 26 to November 5, 2001 targeting 805 radiation workers in 108 medical institutions including university hospitals, general hospitals, hospitals, clinics and public health centers etc. located in Seoul, four metropolitan cities and small and medium cities, and has obtained the following results. 1. The average point of knowledge on the radiation safety management was 10.96 out of 15. As for the general characteristics, the level of knowledge on radiation safety management was higher with older age, high education background and longer career. 2. The average point of attitude on the radiation safety management was 66.36 out of 75. The attitude point for general characteristics were higher with higher education background, longer career and in case of universities, the level of attitude on the radiation safety management was high. 3. The average of action points on the radiation safety management was 56.09 out of 75. In general characteristics, the action level of radiation safety level was higher with older age, longer career, and the reception of radiation education and in case of university hospitals. 4. It is analyzed that the relation of knowledge, attitude and behavior on the radiation safety management is higher as the levels of knowledge and attitude on the radiation safety management is higher. 5. As a result of analyzing the factors that affect the knowledge on the radiation safety management, the variables that can be explained best was in the order of ‘the behavior on the radiation safety management’, ‘work career’, ‘the attitude on the radiation safety management’, and ‘school career’. 6. As a result of analyzing the factors that affect the attitude on the radiation safety management, the variables that can be explained best was in the order of ‘the behavior on the radiation safety management’, ‘the knowledge on the radiation safety management’, and ‘school career’. 7. As a result of analyzing the factors that affect the behavior on the radiation safety management, the variables that can be explained best was in the order of ‘the attitude on the radiation safety management’, ‘the knowledge on the radiation safety management’, and ‘the frequency of radiation education

점화효과를 적용한 여성 소비자의 주류 광고 수용 분석 (Reception Analysis of Liquor Advertisement for Female Consumer Based on Priming Effect)

  • 본 연구는 여성 소비자가 소비에 있어 제품을 선택하고, 구입하는데 큰 영향을 미친다는 점에서 시작하였다. 여러 제품 중 아직까지는 여성보다 남성의 소비가 많은 주류를 차지하지만 소주의 "웰빙과 저도화"에 따라 점차 여성의 음주 인구 편입이 늘어나고 있는 추세이다. 그동안 남성 위주로 제작된 주류 광고가 어떻게 여성 소비자에게 다가갈 수 있으며 구매까지 영향력을 끼칠 수 있는지 점화효과를 통해 간접적으로 측정하고 검증하였다. 이 실험을 통해 피실험자들은 실험 영상과 간섭 영상이 의미적으로 연관이 있을 경우 부분적으로 점화효과가 있었음을 알 수 있었다. 짧은 시간동안 스쳐 지나가는 광고의 한 장면일지라도 그것이 의미적으로 비슷한 환경이나 여건이 되어 노출될 경우 점화효과가 일어나 광고 중에 나타난 행동을 긍정적으로 생각하게 되는 것이다. 주류 외에 자동차와 같은 남성 중심적 제품의 광고가 여성 소비자에게 어필하기 위해서는 광고가 점화효과를 일으킬 수 있는 상황적 요소가 맞아야 할 것이다. 이러한 점화효과를 광고 제작과 편성에 이용한다면 보다 쉽게 여성 소비자에게 다가갈 수 있을 것이다.

병원급식서비스의 질 인식에 대한 입원환자와 종사자간 괴리 분석 (A Gap Analysis between Inpatients' and Personnel's Perception of Hospital Foodservice Quality)

  • The purposes of this study were to analyze the gap between foodservice personnel and inpatients, to urge foodservice providers to reconsider by identifying the problems in service delivery for customer satisfaction, and to deduce the priority for foodservice quality improvement. The results of this study can be summarized as follows : the average perception score of personnel (4.32 out of 5) was higher than that of customers (3.90). In particular, the customers' perceptions of 17 attributes, which included 'removal service of tray by foodservice personnel', 'nutrition and health-related information service', 'handling inpatient's complaint ASAP', 'delicious meals' and 'salty enough meals' and so on, was significantly lower than personnel's. Both service providers and customers perceived that 'personnel attitude' was the highest and 'meal quality' was the lowest among the 4 factors, but there was significant difference on 'meal quality'(p < .001), 'customer reception' (p < .001) and 'personnel attitude' (p < .05) between the two groups. As a results of quadrant analysis, 'removal service of tray by foodservice personnel', 'handling inpatient's complaints ASAP' and 'meal service according to doctor's orders were categorized into Quadrant A with meaning of high personnel's perceptions and low customers'. Therefore service providers have to perceive the gap between the two viewpoints and grant priority to these attributes in improving foodservice qualify. 다목적 실용위성2호 관제시스템 운용 (Mission Control System for KOMPSAT-2 Operations)

  • 한국전자통신연구원이 개발하여 항공우주연구원의 관제소에 설치한 아리랑2호 위성 관제시스템은 지난 7월 28일 발사된 아리랑2호 위성의 운용에 사용되고 있다. 아리랑2호 관제시스템의 대표적인 기능으로는 원격측정데이터 수신 및 처리, 원격명령 생성 및 송신, 위성 추적 및 거리측정, 궤도 예측 및 결정, 위성자세 조정계획, 그리고 위성 시뮬레이션 등이 있다. 아리랑2호 위성은 아리랑1호 위성의 임무를 이어받아 수행하며, MSC (Multi Spectral Camera) 및 정밀궤도결정, 정밀자세결정 등을 통해 아리랑1호에 비해 훨씬 향상된 해상도의 사진을 제공하는 성능을 가지고 있다.

초등학교 환경교육 운영에 대한 연구 -초등학교 실행 사례를 중심으로- (A Study on the Management of Environmental Education in Elementary School -A Case Study of Elementary Schools-)

  • The purpose of this study is to make clear the management of Environmental Education in Elementary school in Korea. To accomplish this purpose, The research for the actual condition of management of Environmental Education according to school, grade, and class was progressed. The researcher was analyzed Hindrance Factors of Sound Environmental Education in School and presented some suggestion on the basis of above-mentioned findings. On one side, the method of research is a case study on qualitative based way. A case study was conducted with it's focus on public elementary school in Seoul. As for major research methods, observation by participating in school field and in-depth interview were respectively employed; subsidiary methods included literature study. The findings of this study are as belows: First, Environmental Education was not managed practically with specific way in school. Second, Environmental Education by direct and actual outdoor experience was unusual. Third, most of class school work about Environmental Education was focused on not only the type of prescription after the environmental problem but also, the treatment of articles in newspaper and TV. Forth, educational compulsion such as “you have to do that.” was mainly used as Environmental guidance for sound attitude in school without clear reasons. In the last analysis, hindrance factors of sound management for environmental education in elementary schools were ‘passive adjustment’, ‘discriminative reception’, ‘absence of information resource’. these factors came from atmosphere of negligence environmental education in schools. Therefore, all of teachers have to affirmative belief and attitude as personal dimension and all of elementary schools improve environmental education system.

정밀 차량 위치결정을 위한 GPS/IMU/SPR 통합 알고리즘 개발 및 성능 분석 (Development of GPS/IMU/SPR Integrated Algorithm and Performance Analysis for Determination of Precise Car Positioning)

  • 현재 GPS/IMU 기반의 차량항법기술은 GPS 신호 불량지역에서 위치 정밀도가 급격하게 저하된다. 근래에는 많은 차량에 주행 상태를 기록하기 위한 카메라를 탑재하고 있음에 따라 만약 도로시설물을 위치를 알 수 있을 경우 단사진 후방교차법(SPR)을 통해 카메라의 위치 및 자세를 산출할 수 있다. SPR로 추정된 외부표정요소는 GPS/IMU 항법해의 오차를 보정할 수 있음에 따라 GPS 신호 수신환경에 영향을 받지 않고 안정적으로 차량의 위치 및 자세를 결정할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 GPS, IMU, 사진측량 기술인 SPR을 결합하여 GPS 수신환경에 구애받지 않고 안정적으로 위치 및 자세를 결정하는 GPS/IMU/SPR 통합 알고리즘을 개발하였다. GPS/IMU/SPR 통합 알고리즘은 확장형 칼만필터를 이용하여 약결합 방식으로 구현하였다. 또한 개발된 GPS/IMU/SPR 통합 알고리즘의 성능을 분석하기 위하여, GPS 수신환경 및 영상에 획득되는 기준점의 배치에 따른 시뮬레이션 테스트를 수행하였다. 시뮬레이션 테스트 결과, GPS/IMU/SPR 결합을 통해 산출되는 위치 및 자세가 GPS/IMU 결합 결과보다 안정적으로 산출되는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 영상의 기준점이 영상 중앙에 집중되어 배치되어 있을 경우에는 광축 방향으로 위치 오차가 증가되는 것으로 분석되었다. 향후 GPS/IMU/SPR 통합 알고리즘 성능을 면밀히 분석하기 위해서는 SPR 수행결과에 영향을 미치는 영상점 및 지상점의 측정오차, 초기 외부표정요소에 따른 성능 분석이 추가적으로 수행되어야 할 것이다.

농촌관광 방문경험자와 잠재방문자의 비교분석을 통한 지속가능한 농촌관광개발 전략에 관한 연구 (A Study for Sustainable Development of Rural Tourism through Comparisn between Visitors and Potential Visitors)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide basic materials for working out differentiated marketing strategies appropriate to the visitors and potential visitors of rural tourism for the sustainable development of rural tourism. The study was conducted through a questionnaire survey fur 500 adults aged 18-year-old or older residing in downtown Seoul, and the characteristics of the visitors and potential visitors of the rural tour were analyzed through frequency analysis and logistic analysis. The analysis results are summarized as follow. In many cases, they obtained information on the rural tourism chiefly through mass media and decided their participation after listening to the stories of nearby people or visitors. The survey showed that the estimated necessary expenses of the potential visitors were more than actual ones of the visitors. It was analyzed that the reception attitude of residents was a factor to have the most significant effect on the participation of rural tourism, while necessary budget for potential visitors.

잠재적 고객만족개선 지수를 이용한 의료서비스 품질 개선우선 순위 결정 - 일개 상급종합병원의 외래환자 및 근무자를 중심으로 - (Improvement Prioritization of Health and Medical Service Quality Attributes using PCSI Index - Focused on One Upper Level General Hospital -)

  • This study calculated the potential customer satisfaction improvement index (PCSI index) and average satisfaction coefficient (ASC) by categorizing quality attributes based on the Kano analysis for medical service quality. This study seeks to suggest ways to increase the efficiency of medical business management by determining priority to improve after applying the indexes to IPA. To achieve such purposes, this study conducted a survey on 150 outpatients of a premium general hospital and 200 workers in four different sections in the same hospital. As a result of the analysis, there was a difference in the awareness of service quality to improve patient satisfaction between the outpatients and workers. Therefore, the focus should be put on those items deemed important by the patients rather than those that the workers called attention to in order to effectively improve service quality. Along with efforts to alleviate or eliminate inconveniences experienced by patients, it is necessary to provide training programs for workers on customer reception and management such as delivering services with a kind manner and giving explanations in a proper and professional manner and exhibiting the right attitude.

방과후 학교 프로그램이 고등학교 학생들의 과학에 대한 태도와 학업성취도에 미치는 영향 : '날씨의 변화' 단원을 중심으로 (The Effect of After-school Programs on Science-related Attitude and Learning Achievement of High School Students : In the Unit of 'The Change of Weather')

  • 이 연구의 목적은 '날씨의 변화' 단원에 대해 방과후 학교 프로그램 활용 수업을 학생들에게 처치한 후, 방과후 학교 프로그램이 과학관련 태도와 학업성취도에 미치는 효과를 조사하고, 수업처치 방법과 학습자의 학습능력수준 사이의 상호작용 효과를 알아보는 것이다. 연구대상은 광역시에 위치한 고등학교의 2학년 학생 64명을 임의로 선정하였으며, 수업처치 전 중간고사 성적을 기준으로 실험집단과 통제집단으로 분류하였다. 실험집단에는 연구자에 의해 개발된 '전선모형 만들기', '바람의 측정', '기온 이슬점 측정', '입체 일기도 만들기'의 4가지 방과후 학교 프로그램 활용 수업을 6차시 동안 실시하였고, 통제집단에서는 전통적 강의식 수업을 실시하였다. 과학관련 태도 검사 도구는 TOSRA의 7가지 영역에 해당하는 70문항을 사용하였고, 학업성취도 검사 도구는 필수 학습요소를 고려하여 연구자가 개발하였다. 사전 사후 검사 점수는 ANCOVA로 분석하였다. 연구결과에 의하면 방과후 학교 프로그램을 활용한 수업이 전통적 강의식 수업에 비해 학생들의 과학에 대한 태도를 향상시키는데 효과적이었으며, 과학에 대한 태도의 하위 범주 중 과학수업의 즐거움(p<.05), 과학적 태도의 수용(p<.01), 과학탐구에 대한 태도(p<.05)에서 유의미한 효과가 있었다. 또한 학업성취도에 있어서도 실험집단이 통제집단 보다 통계적으로 유의미한 성취도 우위를 보이는 것으로 나타났다(p<.05). 학생수준에 따른 수업처치 효과는 p<.05 수준에서 유의미한 차이를 보였으며, 상위수준의 학생들에게 긍정적인 효과를 준 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 수업처치 방법과 학생수준 사이의 상호작용 효과는 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았다(p>.05).
