As the computerization of hospitals becomes more advanced, security issues regarding data generated from various medical devices within hospitals are gradually increasing. For example, because hospital data contains a variety of personal information, attempts to attack it have been continuously made. In order to safely protect data from external attacks, each hospital has formed an internal team to continuously monitor whether the computer network is safely protected. However, there are limits to how humans can monitor attacks that occur on networks within hospitals in real time. Recently, artificial intelligence models have shown excellent performance in detecting outliers. In this paper, an experiment was conducted to verify how well an artificial intelligence model classifies normal and abnormal data in network traffic data generated from medical devices. There are several models used for outlier detection, but among them, Random Forest and Tabnet were used. Tabnet is a deep learning algorithm related to receive and classify structured data. Two algorithms were trained using open traffic network data, and the classification accuracy of the model was measured using test data. As a result, the random forest algorithm showed a classification accuracy of 93%, and Tapnet showed a classification accuracy of 99%. Therefore, it is expected that most outliers that may occur in a hospital network can be detected using an excellent algorithm such as Tabnet.
The outbreak of lumpy skin disease (LSD), caused by LSD virus (LSDV), in Jeollabuk-do was first confirmed at a Korean cattle farm in Buan-gun on October 24, 2023. Afterwards, thirteen cases (twelve cases in Gochang-gun and a case in Imsil-gun) were further confirmed, resulting in a total of fourteen cases over 25 days until November 17, 2023. Clinical examination were conducted on infected and co-habitting cattle from the LSD-affected farms with particular focus on the presence of nodules throughout the body such as head, neck, chest, femur, head, and perineum. As a results, abnormal clinical signs were observed in fifteen cows: loss of appetite in six cows, high fever in three cows, eye mucosal nodules in a cow, nasal mucosal nodules in six cows, nodules on perineum in five cows, scrotum nodules in two cows, papillary nodules in a cow, and/or skin nodules in eleven cows. By the PCR methods, the common gene of capripox virus and/or the specific gene of LSDV were detected in 35 of the 69 cows tested this study. In the Farm1, capripox virus-specific gene, LSDV wild strain-specific gene, and LSDV vaccine strain-spcific gene were simultaneously detected in affected cows, indicating the cattle farm was affected by various strain of LSDV. As a result of combining clincal examination and PCR test, it was found that clinically and subclinically infeted cows coexist in the LSDV-infected farms. These finding in this study will be a great help in diagnosis and prevention of the LSD in Korean cattle farms.

In this paper, a fault determination methodology based on an artificial neural network was proposed to protect the system from faults on the lines in the smart grid distribution system. In the proposed methodology, first, it was designed to determine whether there is a low impedance line fault (LIF) based on the magnitude of the current RMS value, and if it is determined to be a normal current, it was designed to determine whether a high impedance ground fault (HIF) is present using Normal/HIF classifier based on artificial neural network. Among repetitive DSP module-based algorithm verification tests, the normal/HIF classifier recognized the current waveform as normal and did not show reclosing operation for the cases of normal state current waveform simulation test where the RMS value was smaller than the minimum operating current value. On the other hand, for the cases of LIF where RMS value is greater than the minimum operating current value, the validity of the proposed methodology could be confirmed by immediately recognizing it as a fault state and showing reclosing operation according to the prescribed procedure.
In composites manufacturing, increasing resin impregnation is a key way to speed up the manufacturing process and improve product quality. While resin improvement is important, simple fiber surface treatments can also improve resin flowability. In this study, different plasma treatment times were applied to carbon fiber fabrics to improve the impregnation between resin and fiber. Electrical resistivity measurements were used to evaluate the dispersion of resin in the fibers, which changed with plasma treatment. The effect of fiber surface treatment on resin spreadability could be observed in real time. When inserting a carbon fiber tow into the resin, the amount of resin that soaked into the tow was measured to objectively compare resin impregnation. Five minutes of plasma treatment improved the tensile and compressive strength of the composite by more than 50%, while reducing the void content and increasing the fire point impregnation flow rate. Finally, a dynamic flexural fatigue test was conducted using a portion of the composite used as an architectural composite part, and the composite part did not fail after one million cycles of a 3 kN load.
Objective: Testicular fat deposition has been reported to affect animal reproduction. However, the underlying mechanism remains poorly understood. The present study explored whether sperm meiosis and testosterone synthesis contribute to mouse testicular fat deposition-induced reproductive performance. Methods: High fat diet (HFD)-induced obesity CD1 mice (DIO) were used as a testicular fat deposition model. The serum hormone test was performed by agent kit. The quality of sperm was assessed using a Sperm Class Analyzer. Testicular tissue morphology was analyzed by histochemical methods. The expression of spermatocyte marker molecules was monitored by an immuno-fluorescence microscope during meiosis. Analysis of the synthesis of testosterone was performed by real-time polymerase chain reaction and reagent kit. Results: It was found that there was a significant increase in body weight among DIO mice, however, the food intake showed no difference compared to control mice fed a normal diet (CTR). The number of offspring in DIO mice decreased, but there was no significant difference from the CTR group. The levels of follicle-stimulating hormone were lower in DIO mice and their luteinizing hormone levels were similar. The results showed a remarkable decrease in sperm density and motility among DIO mice. We also found that fat accumulation affected the meiosis process, mainly reflected in the cross-exchange of homologous chromosomes. In addition, overweight increased fat deposition in the testis and reduced the expression of testosterone synthesis-related enzymes, thereby affecting the synthesis and secretion of testosterone by testicular Leydig cells. Conclusion: Fat accumulation in the testes causes testicular cell dysfunction, which affects testosterone hormone synthesis and ultimately affects sperm formation.

The objective of Value Engineering (VE) is to derive the optimal value at the most efficient life cycle cost, comprising three stages: Pre-Study, Study, and Post-Study. In this study, we propose a method for information collection and analysis during planned site visit surveys in the preparation stage of VE. The 3D spatial model, created using a drone, facilitated observation and analysis of the study area from various angles, both from the center and the outside. Additionally, through the utilization of drones, we conducted on-site investigations of the research area's 3D spatial model, enabling a macroscopic perspective previously only feasible through a microscopic viewpoint during planned site visits in the pre-study phase. Furthermore, the utilization of actual spatial data obtained from observations allowed for real-time information verification during Design VE workshops, enhancing the efficiency and reliability of the VE project.

Noise and Radio-frequency interference or RFI causes a significant restriction on the Free induction Decay or FID signal detection of the Nuclear Quadrupole Resonance procedure. Therefore, using this method in non-isolated environments such as industry and ports requires extraordinary measures. For this purpose, noise reduction algorithms and increasing signal-to-noise-and-interference ratio or SNIR have been used. In this research, sodium nitrite has been used as a sample and algorithms have been tested in a non-isolated environment. The resonant frequencies for the 150 g of test sample were measured at 303 K at about 1 MHz and 3.4 MHz. The main novelty in this study was, (1) using two types of antennas in the receiver to improve adaptive noise and interference cancellation, (2) using a separate helical antenna in the transmitter to eliminate the duplexer, (3) estimating the noise before sending the pulse to calculate the weighting factors and reduce the noise by adaptive noise cancellation, (3) reject the interference by blanking algorithm, (4) pulse integration in the frequency domain to increase the SNR, and (5) increasing the detection speed by new pulse integration technique. By interference rejection and noise cancellation, the SNIR is improved to 9.24 dB at 1 MHz and to 7.28 dB at 3.4 MHz, and by pulse integration 44.8 dB FID signal amplification is achieved, and the FID signals are detected at 1.057 MHz and 3.402 MHz at room temperature.
In this paper, an autonomous surveillance-tracking system for Workers monitoring basing on the stereo vision scheme is proposed. That is, analysing the characteristics of the cross-axis camera system through some experiments, a optimized stereo vision system is constructed and using this system an intelligent worker surveillance-tracking system is implemented, in which a target worker moving through the environments can be detected and tracked, and its resultant stereo location coordinates and moving trajectory in the world space also can be extracted. From some experiments on moving target surveillance-tracking, it is analyzed that the target's center location after being tracked is kept to be very low error ratio of 1.82%, 1.11% on average in the horizontal and vertical directions, respectively. And, the error ratio between the calculation and measurement values of the 3D location coordinates of the target person is found to be very low value of 2.5% for the test scenario on average. Accordingly, in this paper, a possibility of practical implementation of the intelligent stereo surveillance system for real-time tracking of a target worker moving through the environments and robust detection of the target's 3D location coordinates and moving trajectory in the real world is finally suggested.

Since 1973, the competition on the development of fuel saving type internal combustion engines has become severe by the two times oil shock, and new type engines are reported every several months. Whenever these new type engines are developed, new designs are required and they will be offered in the market after performing the endurance test for a long time. But the engine market is faced with a heavy burden of finance, as the developing of a new engine requires tremendous expenses. For this reason, the computer simulation method has been lately developed to cope with it. The computer simulation method can be available to perform the reasonable research works by the theoretical analysis before carrying out practical experiments. With these processes, the developing expenses are cut down and the period of development is curtailed. The object of this study is the development of simulation computer program for the small naturally aspirated four-stroke diesel engine which is intended to product by the original design of our country. The process of simulation is firstly investigated for the ideal engine cycle, and secondly for the real engine cycle. In the ideal engine cycle, each step of the cycle is simulated by the energy balance according to the first law of thermodynamics, and then the engine performance is calculated. In the real cycle imulation program, the injection rate, the preparation rate and the combustion rate of fuel and the heat transfer through the wall of combustion chamber are considered. In this case, the injection rate is supposed as constant through the crank angle interval of injection and the combustion rate is calculated by the Whitehouse-Way equation and the heat transfer is calculated by the Annand's equation. The simulated values are compared with measured values of the YANMAR NS90(C) engine and Mitsubishi 4D30 engine, and the following conclusions are drawn. 1. The heat loss by the exhaust gas is well agree with each other in the lower load, but the measured value is greater than the calculated value in the higher load. The maximum error rate is about 15% in the full load. 2. The calculated quantity of heat transfer to the cooling water is greater than the measured value. The maximum error rate is about 11.8%. 3. The mean effective pressure, the fuel consumption, the power and the torque are well agree with each other. The maximum error is occurred in the fuel consumption, and its error rate is about 7%. From the above remarks, it may be concluded that the prediction of the engine performance is possibly by using the developed program, although the program needs to reform by adding the simulation of intake and exhaust process and assumping more reliable mechanical efficiency, volumetric efficiency, preparation rate and combustion rate.

It will be a real good news fer the people who were lost their hometown by the construction of a large dam to be restored to the farmer state. Focused on Cheung-pyung around where most part were submerged by the Chungju large Dam founded in eurly 1980s, It used remote sensing image restoration Technique in this study in order to restore topographical features before the flood with stereo effects. We gathered comparatively good satellite photos and remotely sensed digital images, then its made a new fusion image from these various satellite images and the topographical map which had been made before the water filled by the DAM. This task was putting together two kinds of different timed images. And then, we generated DEM including the outskirts of that area as matching current contour lines with the map. That could be a perfect 3D image of test areas around before when it had been water filled by making perspective images from all directions included north, south, east and west, fer showing there in 3 dimensions. Also, for close range visiting made of flying simulation can bring to experience their real space at that time. As a result of this experimental task, it made of new fusion images and 3-D perspective images and simulation live images by remotely sensed photos and images, old paper maps about vanished submerged Dam areas and gained of possibility 3-D terrain image restoration about submerged area by large Dam construction.
