The advance in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and web services has led to the development of new types of a system in which heterogeneous service components can connect and compose to solve a complex business problem. In the SOA, even though these service components are valid in their functionality, there is a need to test their behaviors when those services are composited. In recent years, WS-BPEL has received a wide acceptance as a means of integrating distributed service components. To test the composite service, the existing testing techniques have been focused on the functional features based on the WS-BPEL process. However as SOA approach is applying to real-time software development, the performance of composite service becomes one of important issues. This paper proposes a technique to the performance testing of a composite service with WS-BPEL extension which combined with the concept of aspect. Our WS-BPEL extension has been made towards annotating aspect component which is measuring the response time of the composite service. This paper also explains the procedure of performance testing with on-line transaction system. Our technique can apply to choose an adequate component in service composition with considering the performance among several candidate web service components.

Tracking and erosion of Poly Methyl Methacrylate (PMMA) and the suppression mechanism of alumina trihydrate were investigated in the present study The conventional testing as IEC-60587 is widely used in surface aging measurement of outdoor insulator those testing can carry out very short time for Lab testing. Also IEC-60587 testing is able to offer the standard judgement of relative degradation level of outdoor HV system. Therefore it is very useful method compare to previous conventional tracking testing method, But surface discharges(SD) have very complex characteristics of discharge pattern so it is required estimation research to development of precise analysis method. In recent, the study of IRR-Camera is carrying out discover of temperature of power equipment through condition diagnosis and system development of degradation diagnosis. In this paper, SD occurred from IEC-60587 is measured with the surface temperature of weibull distribution in real time, the degradation grade of SD is analyzed through produced patterns in IEC-60587 using Infrared Radiation(IRR) camera.

This paper presents a novel method for real-time malfunction detection of plasma etching process using EPD signal traces. First, many reference EPD signal traces are collected using monochromator and data acquisition system in normal etching processes. Critical points are defined by applying differentiation and zero-crossing method to the collected reference signal traces. Critical parameters such as intensity, slope, time, peak, overshoot, etc., determined by critical points, and frame attributes transformed signal-to symbol of reference signal traces are saved. Also, UCL(Upper Control Limit) and LCL(Lower Control Limit) are obtained by mean and standard deviation of critical parameters. Then, test EPD signal traces are collected in the actual processes, and frame attributes and critical parameters are obtained using the above mentioned method. Process malfunctions are detected in real-time by applying SPC(Statistical Process Control) method to critical parameters. the Real-time malfunction detection method presented in this paper was applied to actual processes and the results indicated that it was proved to be able to supplement disadvantages of existing quality control check inspecting or testing random-selected devices and detect process malfunctions correctly in real-time.

A computer controlled 5 axis ultrasonic testing system is developed in order to detect flaws in special parts with complex shape. The various kinds of ultrasonic test can be performed automatically using computer program which was developed by DHI(Daewoo Heavy Industries Ltd.). By use of this computer program, the detector location can be programed and the amplitude signal of echo can be processed digitally. The test results can be plotted graphically on a high resolution display monitor in real time base. The test data can be also saved in magnetic memory devices(HDD or FDD) as well as in the form of hard copy through color printer. The computer software contains c- scan, c+a scan processing programs as well as statistical analysis for test data.

Recently, the HFPD measurement testing is widely used in partial discharge measurement of HV machines because HFPD measurement testing receives less influence of external noise and has a merit of good sensitivity. Also HFPD testing is able to offer the judgement standard of degradation level of HV machine and can detect discharge signals in live-line. Therefore it is very useful method compare to previous conventional PD testing method and effective diagnosis method in power transformer that requires live-line diagnosis. But partial discharges have very complex characteristics of discharge pattern so it is required continuous research to development of precise analysis method. In recent, the study of partial discharge is carrying out discover of initial defect of power equipment through condition diagnosis and system development of degradation diagnosis using HFPD(High Frequency Partial Discharge) detection. In this study, simulated transformer is manufactured and HFPD occurred from transformer is measured with broad band antenna in real time, the degradation grade of transformer is analyzed through produced patterns in simulated transformer according to applied voltages.

Real-time hybrid simulation (RTHS) has emerged as an important tool for testing large and complex structures with a focus on rate-dependent specimen behavior. Due to the real-time constraints, accurate dynamic control of servo-hydraulic actuators is required. These actuators are necessary to realize the desired displacements of the specimen, however they introduce unwanted dynamics into the RTHS loop. Model-based actuator control strategies are based on linearized models of the servo-hydraulic system, where the controller is taken as the model inverse to effectively cancel out the servo-hydraulic dynamics (i.e., model-based feedforward control). An accurate model of a servo-hydraulic system generally contains more poles than zeros, leading to an improper inverse (i.e., more zeros than poles). Rather than introduce additional poles to create a proper inverse controller, the higher order derivatives necessary for implementing the improper inverse can be calculated from available information. The backward-difference method is proposed as an alternative to discretize an improper continuous time model for use as a feedforward controller in RTHS. This method is flexible in that derivatives of any order can be explicitly calculated such that controllers can be developed for models of any order. Using model-based feedforward control with the backward-difference method, accurate actuator control and stable RTHS are demonstrated using a nine-story steel building model implemented with an MR damper.

This paper describes the procedures and results of an acoustic emission testing performed during hydrotest of spherical pressure vessel for propane storage. A computer based multi-channel real time monitoring and source location analysis AET-4900 system was used for AE testing. The vessel was extremely quiet throughout the entire test run and especially 6 to $14.5kg/cm^{2}$, it is normal operating pressure range. After exceeding $14.5kg/cm^{2}$, one of the 20 sections showed the most event in any one section 11 total but there were scattered at different locations. In order to confirm the events seen in horizontal weld line of that section, proof testing was performed with ultrasonics and radiography.

The ability to see the internal organs of the human body in a noninvasive way is a powerful diagnostic tool of modern medicine. Among these imaging modalities such as X-ray, MRI, and ultrasound. MRI and ultrasound are presenting much less risk of undesirable damage of both patient and examiner. In fact, no deleterious effects have been reported as a result of clinical examination by using MRI and ultrasound diagnostic equipment. As a result. their market volume has been rapidly increased. MRI has a good resolution. but there are a few disadvantages such as high price. non-real-time imaging capability. and expensive diagnostic cost. On the other hand, the ultrasound imaging system has inherently poor resolution as compared with X-ray and MRI. In spite of its poor resolution, the ultrasound diagnostic equipment is lower in price and has an ability of real-time imaging as compared with the others. As a result. the ultrasound imaging system has become general and essential modality for imaging the internal organs of human body. In this review various researches and developments to enhance the resolution of the ultrasound images are explained and future trends of the ultrasound imaging technology are described.
Hybrid simulation is increasingly being recognized as a powerful technique for laboratory testing. It offers the opportunity for global system evaluation of civil infrastructure systems subject to extreme dynamic loading, often with a significant reduction in time and cost. In this approach, a reference structure/system is partitioned into two or more substructures. The portion of the structural system designated as 'physical' or 'experimental' is tested in the laboratory, while other portions are replaced with a computational model. Many researchers have quite effectively used hybrid simulation (HS) and real-time hybrid simulation (RTHS) methods for examination and verification of existing and new design concepts and proposed structural systems or devices. This paper provides a detailed perspective of the enabling role that HS and RTHS methods have played in advancing the practice of earthquake engineering. Herein, our focus is on investigations related to earthquake engineering, those with CURATED data available in their entirety in the NEES Data Repository.
