  • The epoch-making event of history called "JE JU 4.3" took place in JE JU beautiful island on liberation political situation in 1948. The cruelties of this event were reported awful life loss over 30,000, cruel slaughter by government, scorched villages in mountain area, silence exaction and disadvantage of implication for long time over 40 years. But, the real features are in still a fog.. Recently, the searching movement has arised owing to democracy atmosphere and literature works with "JE JU4.3" materials were published from 1988 and the government announced official apologies in 2003. The novel "The Sun-set on Halla Mt", one of those works, is accessible to real history due to its time/space back ground and the real name of persons who were related with this event. It is important for readers to consider the difference between real history and fiction story. Because a historical novel should be evaluated by writer's theme rather than history character.

  • The surveillance system to prevent crime and accidents in advance has become a necessity, not an option in real life. Not only public institutions but also individuals are installing surveillance cameras to protect their property and privacy. However, since the installed surveillance camera cannot be monitored for 24 hours, the focus is on the technology that tracks the video after an accident occurs rather than prevention. In this paper, we propose a system model that monitors abnormal behaviors that may cause crimes through real-time video, and when a specific behavior occurs, the surveillance system automatically detects it and responds immediately through an alarm. We are a model that analyzes real-time images from surveillance cameras and uses I3D models from analysis servers to analyze abnormal behavior and deliver notifications to web servers and then to clients. If the system is implemented with the proposed model, immediate response can be expected when a crime occurs.

  • In this paper, we propose a mixed neural network structure of CNN and LSTM that can be used to detect or predict odor occurrence, which is most required in manufacturing industry or real life, using odor complex sensors. In addition, the proposed learning model uses a complex odor sensor to receive four types of data such as hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, benzene, and toluene in real time, and applies this data to an inference model to detect and predict odor conditions. The proposed model evaluated the prediction accuracy of the learning model through performance indicators according to accuracy, and the evaluation result showed an average performance of 94% or more.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to provide implications for National Curriculum design for elementary and secondary school, by analyzing social indices of students' real life based on Oliva's three types of demand for education. Three types of demand are physical, social-psychological and educational demand. Methods: This study mainly analyzed recent research data and existing studies relevant to social indices to show students' real life. Results: Three types of social indices about educational demand showed that students have many difficulties in much learning time, lacking in sleeping time and physical activities, much stress and suicide attempt. It is supposed that learning and academic achievement is the main factor to make such kind of stress. Conclusion: Health & safety education, self-esteem inspiring education, reduction of learning burden, physical activities etc are needed to be more reflected in National Curriculum design in the future.

  • Some bogie frames manufactured in 1999, 2000 year have the fatal problem. Three or four years later, the cracked end beam among them have discovered in 2002, 2003 year. The crack situation of the end beam have a bad effect on brake system. In that case, the cars would be in danger of derailment. To improve the end beam, a research of covering the whole field of welded type bogie frame was started. Main line real tests were performed at Young-Dong line. The stress of main positions for bogie frame was measured. Also up-down direction and left-right direction vibration acceleration of the bogie frame were measured. At this time the tests were performed for the three types bogie. The test result concludes that the crack cause of the end beam is not brake load but vibration at running mainly. It is estimated that the life of the improved car which end beam reinforced is safe within the car permitted life(25 years). The improvement methods of the end beam are presented by construction modification, parts modification. The integrity evaluation is inspected by analysis the real line test results, the improvement methods of the end beam.

  • The purpose of the study is to make a proposal of how to improve the separate account in Korean life insurance accounting and regulations. A separate account is required to improve the transparency of accounting and fairness of dividing the profit between company and lift insurance contractors. A separate account may be the first step to solve this conflict by clearing the profit sharing of shareholder's and contractor's of the insurance with dividend. The separate account should be designed to reflect the real economic consequences of insurance company and consider the real outcome of the performance-based insurance commodities. The separate account should contain the rules of IASs and KASs. If a separate account is successfully settled down, the portions of contractor's dividend and the dispute about initial public offering of insurance companies can be solved gradually.

  • Since the first commercial GM plant, the FlavrSavr tomato, authorized in 1994, more than 140 GM plants were authorized for marketing globally. For the authorization and labelling of GM plants, the detection methods for genes introduced and proteins expressed in GM plants were developed qualitatively and quantitatively. This review presented the detection methods, conventional PCR, multiplex PCR and real-time PCR, for soybean, maize, canola and cotton as the dominant GM plants. Also, microarray assay and nanotechnology as new approaches for detection methods for GM plants were investigated.

  • There has been no report on the life prediction for gas turbine materials at high temperatures based on the creep properties and their relationship with the AE(acoustic emission) properties as a means of real-time non-destructive testing. One of the important issues is thus to develop a reliable method of evaluating creep properties by the AE technique. In this paper, the real-time evaluation of high temperature creep time and AE cumulative counts for nickel-based superalloy Udimet 720 was performed on round-bar type specimens under pure load at the temperatures of 811, 922 and 977K. The total AE cumulative counts until the starting point of secondary creep($N_1$) and that of tertiary creep($N_2$) have quantitative relationship with the tertiary creep time and the rupture time. It is thus possible to construct the life prediction system based on creep and the prevention system of tertiary creep by using AE technique.

  • Purpose: This research is to answer the following research questions because of the importance of learning how retired businesspeople increase their financial security and quality of life. (1) how does an entrepreneur contribute to economic development? (2) what types of investments are performed by businesspeople after retirement? (3) how entrepreneurial financial attainment capacity and anticipated net income after retirement are related? Research design, data and methodology: This research has conducted the qualitative analysis (QCA) using the current literature review. In the traditional positivist research paradigm, the quality of research is evaluated based on issues of validity, reliability, and objectivity. Contrary to the positivist approach, QCA focuses on the underlying meaning of the data. Results: This research found that finance management is increasingly challenging for businesspeople. The solutions based on the literature investigation suggest four categories. (1) Planned spending and revenue allocation, (2) Investing in the stock market, (3) Create a culture of saving, (4) Get Informed. Conclusions: This research puts forth a model to describe the connection between an investor's financial achievement potential and their desired net profits in retirement. The results of this study support the idea that the ability to achieve financial success as an entrepreneur has a salutary effect on the amount of money saved for retirement.
