In this paper a Fractional-N frequency synthesizer is designed for UHF RFID readers. It satisfies the ISO/IEC frequency band $(860{\sim}960MHz)$ and is also applicable to mobile RFID readers. It is designed using a $0.18{\mu}$ RF CMOS process. The measured results show that the designed circuit has a phase noise of -103dBc/Hz at 100kHz offset and consumes 9mA from a 1.8V supply. The channel switching time of $10{\mu}s$ over 5MHz transition have been achieved, and the chip size including PADs is $1.8{\times}0.99mm^2$

The attribute of cartoon and comics has been known the combination of image and text. It is improved the we find the shape of comics at the first comics on the newspaper. But we can read the comic without word. These works don't give the difficult to read and it may transfer to readers by the image of figure on comics. Therefore how can the image reach the readers by the communication. This study is the research of the visual image communication and the attribute of wordless comics.

A VCO is designed to operate at 1.8GHz band such that the LO pulling effect is minimized. The 900MHz differential I/Q LO signals are obtained by dividing the differential signal from an integrated 1.8GHz VCO. It is designed using a $0.18{\mu}m$ RF CMOS process. The measured results show that the designed circuit has a phase noise of -103dBc/Hz at 100KHz offset and consumes 9mA from a 1.8V supply. The channel switching time of $10{\mu}s$ over 5MHz transition have been achieved, and the chip size including PADs is $1.8{\times}0.99mm^2$.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the dual readership represented in the use of picture books. The study was conducted through in-depth interviews and observation of 9 families including 5-year-olds. The findings of this study were as follows. First, mothers exercised their exclusive right to choose books for their children. They usually used online bookstores, libraries, or book rental shops by consulting other mothers or merchandisers. On the other hand, fathers and children seldom involved themselves in the selection of picture books. Second, children preferred interesting books, while mothers favored complete series of books, which were usually for educational purposes. Third, dynamic interaction between mother and child was occurred during their daily routine of reading picture books together. Five-year-olds seemed to be transitioning into independent readers, and mothers showed that they were also readers of picture books when they appreciated and enjoyed them.

The Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) system is a contactless automatic identification system, which comprises readers and tags. In RFID systems, a reader collision occurs when there is interference in communication between one reader and the tags, due to the signals from other readers. The reader collision problem is considered as the fundamental problem affecting high density RFID reader installations. In this paper, we analyze the existing reader anti-collision algorithms. We also propose a pulse protocol-based reader anti-collision algorithm using slot occupied probability (SOP). The implementation of this improvement is simple, yet it effectively mitigates most reader collisions in dense reader mode, as shown in our simulation. That is, the proposed algorithm reduces the identification time, and increasesthe system throughput and system efficiency compared with the conventional reader anti-collision algorithms.

This study attempted to establish the role of university libraries for leisure reading by identifying the current status of university libraries about leisure reading, which is a part of the reading support service and by investigating and analyzing the university library librarian's percep tion of the necessity of leisure reading. To this end, a survey was conducte d on university libraries. As a result of the survey, 78% of university libraries were conducting leisure reading, and 72% of them provided separate space. Separate manpower was provided only in 30% of libraries, and book lists were provided mainly by best sellers. Regarding the need for leisure reading (4.28) and the role of university libraries (4.32), librarians responded that it was a necessary service for university libraries, and university library librarians that currently provide spaces and program s were more aware of the need.

To date, we have made inferences on the behavior and mind of humans and animals from the perspective of humans, or for the sake of familiarity, vertebrates. The book, "Other Minds; The Octopus, The Sea, and The Deep Origins of Consciousness" by Peter Godfrey-Smith makes us realize how erroneous preconceived notions could be, and presents a novel perspective on the results of evolution. Throughout this book, readers will learn about the characteristics of the nervous system, behavior, and habits of cephalopods, which include octopuses. Through this book, readers will gain a new perspective on the embodiment, minds, nervous systems, consciousness, and sociality of humans and animals. Furthermore, the book will provide the imaginary experience of swimming in "Octopolis" inside the ocean with the author.

In this paper, the authors explained the overview of a method for detecting location of worker for development of a monitoring system for project progress management using RFID technology. Data is the RSSI (Receive Signal Strength Indication) from RFID tag attached to the worker installing a rolling shutter, and was obtained from antennas and RFID readers set around the construction site. Neural network was done using RSSI collected and the area where worker is performing a task, and an estimation model of the working area was prepared. The network had a range of the percentage of correctly classified from 62% to 92%. The authors suggested the method to make estimate by using integrated networks prepared in respect of RFID readers, and showed the percentage of correctly classified of 84.3%. According to the result, the authors confirmed the possibility of the monitoring system with RFID technology, and mentioned the factors necessary to develop for further practical use.

This work aims to describe pragmatic strategies and linguistic features of replies that occur in the comment section of online newspapers. The dominant media in this digital age is the Internet and its rapid development and expansion of use have contributed not only to the change of the form of production of journalistic texts, but also to the consumption of those texts. In the past, the news was transmitted in a unidirectional way but now readers of online newspapers do not remain passively reading the articles. They actively participate in the exchange of opinions with other readers. The individual consumption of journalistic texts has become a collective and social act. The purpose of the study is to investigate the communication intention of the users of comment sections and analyze the linguistic formulation of replies. We attempt to discover specific aspects of replies and responses for online newspaper articles, considering them as an independent type of Computer Mediated Communication (Internet Mediated Communication). Observing language attitudes appearing in the electronic environment and discovering the characteristics of the Spanish language on the Internet will allow us to contribute to understand the theoretical aspects related to the CMO better.

The discussion also explores the impact of Dorian's unethical attitude on contemporary readers and its influence on our daily lives and values.
