고속철도 강교량의 부식.피로신뢰성 기반 생애주기비용 분석 (Corrosion-Fatigue Reliability-Based Life Cycle Cost Analysis of High-Speed Railway Steel Bridges)

  • As it recently appears that Life Cycle Cost Analysis may be considered as new methodology for economic valuation of infrastructure many researches have been made to assess LCC(Life Cycle Cost) of each facility based on a reasonable methods. In general, LCC is composed of construction cost and expected maintenance repair cost. And especially, maintenance repair cost must be estimated to enhance the reliability through systematic and reasonable methods. However in Korea, because high speed railway steel bridges are recently constructed no direct statistical data are available for the account of the maintenance cost and then their maintenance characteristics are not linear yet. Therefore, the approach proposed in the paper utilizes a theoretical determination and degradation of the corrosion and fatigue of the bridges based on Rahgozar et al.(2006)'s model on fatigue notch factor considering into the corrosion to incorporate the corrosion effect into the fatigue strength reduction model. And then, the corresponding probability of failure is calculated in terms of the reliability index using S-N curve to formulate the fatigue limit state. Therefore, this paper proposes the minimum Life Cycle Cost through optimum maintenance plan analysis of high-speed railway steel bridges under construction. Finally, this paper reviews the proposed model in oder to confirm the applicability and feasibility by appling it to high speed railway steel bridges under construction

Influence of the deteriorated anti-seismic devices on seismic performance and device behavior of continuous girder bridges

  • Various seismic isolation and reduction devices have been applied to suppress the longitudinal vibration of continuous girder bridges. As representative devices, lead rubber bearing (LRB) and fluid viscous damper (FVD) might suffer from deterioration during the long-term service. This study aims to evaluate the impact of device deterioration on the seismic responses of continuous girder bridges and investigate the seismic behavior of deteriorated LRBs and FVDs. Seismic performance of a simplified bridge model was investigated, and the influence of device deterioration was evaluated by the coefficient of variation method. The contribution of LRB and FVD was assessed by the Sobol global sensitivity analysis method. Finally, the seismic behaviors of deteriorated LRBs and FVDs were discussed. The result shows that (i) the girder-pier relative displacement is the most sensitive to the changes in the deterioration level, (ii) the deterioration of FVD has a greater effect on the structural responses than that of LRB, (iii) FVD plays a major role in energy dissipation with a low degradation level while LRB is more essential in dissipating energy when suffering from high degradation level, (iv) the deteriorated devices are more likely to reach the ultimate state and thus be damaged.

  • Currently, the Korean railway standards (KRS), managed by Korea National Railroad, have been managed by the Korean Ministry of Construction and Transportation. According to Korean railway safety law, which were established for the guarantee of railway safety, the management of KRS including enactment and revision of technical standards for railway vehicle and components, was committed to Korea Railroad Research Institute (KRRI). In this paper, the detailed master plan for the management of KRS will be introduced for the effective management of KRS, and KRS management direction for the future will be suggested.

  • As the Korea Railroad (KR) was privatized at the beginning of 2005, the Korean Railway Standards (KRS), which was managed previously by KR, have been managed by the Korean Ministry of Construction and Transportation. According to Railway Safety Law and ordinances, which are for the guarantee of safety in railway applications, the management of KRS including enactment and revision of technical standards for railway vehicle and components, was committed to Korea Railroad Research Institute. In this investigation, the detailed management plan and contents are introduced for the effective management of KRS.

  • 철도는 여객을 수송하기 위한 수단으로, 열차의 주행안정성과 탈선방지 등 절대적인 승객의 안전을 확보하는 것이 중요하다. 철도에서 사용하고 있는 레일은 여객을 안전하게 수송하는데 있어 가장 중요한 역할을 담당하는 궤도의 구성품이며, 안전을 위하여 레일의 피로, 파괴에 대한 신뢰성 확보가 엄격히 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 콘크리트 궤도(STEDEF)의 현장측정을 통해 레일표면요철과 레일휨응력이 선형적인 상관관계가 있음을 확인하였으며, 레일표면요철, 궤도지지강성, 열차속도에 따른 레일의 휨응력예측식을 제시하였고, 실내 피로시험을 통해 S-N선도를 도출하여 레일 피로수명을 산정하였다.

만철의 길회선 부설과 북선철도 위탁과정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Gilhoe Line Construction and the Consignment of the North Korean Railroad by the South Manchuria Railways)

  • 본 연구에서는 남만주철도주식회사가 추진하였던 길회선 부설과 조선철도12년계획에 의해 부설된 북선철도가 만철에 위탁되는 과정에 대하여 분석하였다. 일본의 대륙정책 추진과정에서 중요한 두 가지 사건인 길회선과"조선철도12년계획"을 연계하여 당시의 관련된 정책을 설명해 보고자 하였으며, 이러한 연구를 통해 일본의 만철에 대한 정책과 조선철도의 성격을 좀 더 분명히 할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 기존 연구자들이 주장하고 있는 일본국유철도, 만철, 조선철도의 연결성을 본 사례를 통해 검증하고자 하며, 선만일체론에 대해서도 검증하고자 한다. 본 연구는 기존연구와 달리 일본국내의 정책결정과정을 통해 조선철도정책의 실상을 검증해 보고자 하였다. 아울러 본 논문에서는 추가적으로 새롭게 발굴된 자료와 내지인 일본과 조선 만주의 철도제도를 비교해 보면서 이의 연관성을 함께 설명해 보고자 하였다. 본 연구를 통해 길회선 부설과 북선철도 만철 위탁의 연계성을 확인할 수 있었다. 길회선과 북선철도에 대한 만철의 일체적 경영에서 군사적, 경제적, 동아시아의 주도권 등을 잡으려는 일본의 정책 흐름도 발견할 수 있었다.

경부고속철도 토공부에 대한 변형상태 계측 및 분석 (Measurements and Analysis of Deformation States in Roadbed in Gyeongbu High Speed Railway)

  • The function of subgrade in the railway is to support track load on the subgrade as well as train load. Unlike the traditional railway, the uppermost subgrade layer in the Gyeongbu high speed railway was constructed as the reinforced road bed. The reinforced road bed comprises sub-ballast in the upper part and grade ballast in the lower part. The filling material such as soil and rocks in the subgrade can be settled by consolidation of original ground, compression due to self weight, plastic displacement due to train operation, and unequal settlement due to embankment material or improper compaction, therefore many efforts have been given for sufficient compaction and use of proper filling materials in the construction stage. The purpose of this study is to investigate the deformation state of subgrade in the Gyeongbu high speed railway. The investigation on the subgrade settlement was performed by choosing representative sections suspected to be settled based on the previous GPR test results and track maintenance history, measuring the settlement for some time period after installing settlement measuring instruments on and under the reinforced road bed. and analyzing the long-term subgrade settlement data from monitoring system which was installed at the construction stage of the high speed railway.

5G 기반 철도 통신망의 트래픽 전송 성능 (Traffic Transmission Performance of Railway Communication Network based on 5G)

  • 최근 들어 5G 상용통신의 보급으로 이동통신기술은 새로운 시대를 맞이 하고 있다. 현재 도시지역을 중심으로 5G 이동 통신 서비스가 제공되고 있으나 조만간 전국을 대상으로 서비스가 확대될 것으로 전망된다. mmWave 기술을 기반으로 하는 5G 이동통신은 초기 단계로 일반인 대상으로 하는 음성 및 인터넷 서비스 중심으로 전개되고 있으나 전국망 구축이 완료되면 산업통신으로 확장될 것으로 예상된다. 이 산업 통신분야의 대표적인 예가 철도통신 시스템이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 5G 이동통신을 기반으로 하는 철도통신망의 트래픽 전송 성능을 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 사용하여 분석한다. 이 분석 결과를 기반으로 5G 기반 철도통신망의 구축 조건을 살펴본다.
