  • The Information System is now becoming a very important part of our livers. It encompasses technical and spactial characteristics that are much more different from the order information systems used up until now. Therefore, as various fields within the Information Center are researched, the proper usage of those fields must be well thought-out. This study presents the application of quality management systems in Library, Korea. The purpose of this study is to build a framework of improving the management system and planning and performing the service of high quality in Library. To achieve this goal, a theoretical approach was tried through the previous study and the performed with the subject of the 4 steps by Damming' quality management theory. This study may enable domestic organizations to draw up a concrete and practical plan in Library.

  • Nowadays worldwide leading companies try to establish more efficient and comprehensive management system for getting high quality, reliability and safety. In this paper, we investigate standards for quality management, dependability management and risk management. We also suggest an integrated and comprehensive system of quality(ISO/TS16949), dependability (IEC60300)and risk(JIS Q2001).

4차산업혁명시대의 한국품질경영 제안 (Proposal of Korean Quality Management in the 4th Industrial Revolution)

  • Purpose: This paper proposes Korean Quality Management that is appropriate for the 4th Industrial Revolution era. Methods: The author reviewed Quality, TQC, CWQC, and TQM. In addition, the author surveyed the actual condition of quality with a particular focus on Korean SMEs. Several research papers were examined and the author proposed Korean Quality Management for the Korean industrial environment. Results: The author identified and outlined the definition, purpose, system and characteristics of Korean Quality Management specifically tailored to the Korean industrial environment. Conclusion: There is still work to demonstrate the effectiveness of applying Korean Quality Management to Korean SMEs. It is expected that continuous improvement of Korean Quality Management will help quality competitiveness in Korean SMEs.

  • 현대는 정보센터에서 제공하는 정보서비스의 품질을 고객이 요구하는 수준으로 제공하여야 한다. 이를 위하여 프로세스를 중심으로 한 시스템 경영이 필요한 시점이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 국제적인 품질경영시스템인 ISO 9000 인증제도의 이론적 검토를 통하여 ISO 9000 인증제도와 인증 추이를 조사하였다. 아울러 이를 정보센터에서 ISO 9000 품질경영시스템의 도입에 대한 조직 구성원들의 인식도를 설문조사, 분석하였다. 이를 통하여 정보센터에서 ISO 9000 품질경영시스템 인증제도에 대한 인식제고와 향후 ISO 9000 인증제도의 도입시 필요한 사항 등을 파악하고자 하였다.

  • The article proves the relevance of developing conceptual frameworks for managing the quality assurance of logistics activities in the context of socio-economic interaction of their participants. It is established that the fundamental difference of the logistic approach in management from traditional approaches is the allocation of a single management function of previously separated, disparate material flows, as well as economic, technological, information integration of chain links into a single system capable of effective management of these flows. It is substantiated that the functioning of the enterprise as a logistics system can be represented in the form of a triad of logistics components, namely: supply logistics, production logistics, sales logistics. Management of quality assurance processes of logistics activities in the context of socio-economic interaction of their participants is a functional component of the entire logistics system due to the quality of work and interaction of all participants in the implementation of certain activities. The quality of logistics activities will affect the level of economic potential, rationalization and optimization of all logistics flows. It is proved that the management of quality assurance processes of logistics activities in the context of socio-economic interaction of their participants involves the following main areas: the introduction of a quality system of logistics processes; development and implementation of the general strategy of quality improvement at the enterprise; internal integration; controlling. Management of quality assurance processes of logistics activities in the context of socio-economic interaction of its participants requires compliance with the following requirements: systematic and comprehensive management of all flow processes; coordination of criteria and indicators for assessing the effectiveness of the entire logistics system; dissemination of the use and application of information technology; ensuring partnerships and close interaction of all participants in sales networks.

  • This paper is to propose an evaluation model of quality system using the concept from the evaluation method of each stage in QFD(Quality Function Deployment). The data of the performance level and weights for the quality system and the job on quality loop in each enterprise has been obtained from the 8 experts who are in charge of quality system construction. Here, the weights were computed by means of the eigenvector method. In this paper, we can acquire the evaluated score for the present level of the quality system. This method will help to manage and improve the quality system. We show the efficiency of this method by illustrating case studies.

항공 품질경영시스템 인증활동에 관한 연구 (A Study on Certification Activities on Aerospace Quality Management System)

  • The AS9100 aerospace standard has become the aerospace quality management system standard instead of ISO9001 and MIL-Q-9858A by international aerospace manufacturing companies. The organization which adopts AS9100 standard is to be certified by an independent third party certification body as IAQG requests. The quality management system certification assessor shall utilize the AS9101 standard prepared by IAQG to assess AS9100 organization. In this paper, AS9101 quality system questionnaire is analyzed and scoring method which characterizes AS9101 is reviewed. Score attained can be utilized as an organizational quality index. Practical data gathered by certified assessors from 2002 to 2007 are analyzed and suggested to improve the organization's system operational efficiency based on the analysis results. Suggestions can be utilized by any organization to prepare assessment or to enhance the level of quality system maturity. This study is applicable to the future as well as present aerospace manufacturing activities throughout the world.

  • 우리나라 건설공사의 품질관리체계는 관련법에 근거한 규정의 조합과 시공자가 구축한 ISO/KS A 9001에 의한 품질경영 시스템의 운용에 의한 방법의 혼합형이다. 이 두 가지의 품질확보체계는 상호 보완적이며 통합된 체계로 운영되어야 하나, 시공자의 품질경영시스템을 활용하지 못하고 법에서 정한 기준과 방법, 절차 등의 규정에 따라 모든 공사에 있어서 일상화된 품질관리업무가 수행되고 있다. 이러한 현상은 ISO규격이 도입된 이래 지난 10여 년간 계속된 문제점으로 개선이 요구되고 있다. 품질관리의 철저를 목표로 고객 만족을 위한 예방적 품질관리사고를 정착하는 일은 건설산업의 당면과제이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 건설현장 의 실무자를 대상으로 품질관리 관련 의식에 관한 설문조사를 실시하였으며 그 결과를 토대로 건설공사 품질관리 체계의 운용에 대한 만족도를 정리하고, 나아가 향후의 개선방안에 대한 논점을 제시하고자 한다.

  • ISO 9000 quality standards families were established in 1987 and have been started to implement Korean industry since early 1990s. ISO 9000 standards families of 1987 were revised in 1994 and 2000, respectively, by request of world wide certification bodies and industry quality experts. This article reviews the necessity of ISO 9001 :2000 revision, quality management principles behind it, and benefits that ISO 9001: 2000 could bring. We summarize responses of foreign industry that ISO 9001: 2000 has been implemented. Survey questionnaire for 23 requirements of ISO 9001: 2000 from manufacturing companies of Busan and Kyungnam provinces are collected. Research hypotheses that there is any difference in quality management system practical application due to company size and implementation motivation are tested using SPSS. Finally, recommendations are provided for operating successful quality management system.

  • The AS 9100 aerospace standard has become the aerospace quality management system standard agreed to, instead of ISO 9001 and MIL-Q-9858A by international aerospace manufacturing companies. In this paper correlative requirements of each of the standards are compared and analyzed. Then the evolutionary concept and its direction is proposed as a guide to participate in the preparation and establishment of current aerospace quality management systems. This study is applicable to the future as well as present aerospace manufacturing activities throughout the world.
