  • During the past decade after entering the World Trade Organization (WTO), China has quickened its integration into the global economy while its foreign trade has been further invigorated. On the 10th anniversary of China's accession to the WTO, the Chinese government issues White Paper to give a comprehensive introduction to China's foreign trade development. Constructing All-round Economic and Trade Partnerships with Mutually Beneficial Cooperation VI. Realizing Sustainable Development of Foreign Trade. At present, the underlying impact of the international financial crisis, the protracted, arduous and complicated nature of the world economic recovery is manifesting itself, and the global economic structure and trade layout face in-depth readjustment. China will make new adjustments to its foreign trade, in an effort to turn foreign trade from scale expansion to quality and profit improvement, and from mainly relying on its low-cost advantage to enhancing its comprehensive competitive edge, thereby turning China from a big trading country to a strong trading power. China's foreign trade is still hampered by many uncertainties and is bound to meet new difficulties and challenges. During the 12th Five-year Plan period China will open itself wider to the outside world as a driver for further reform, development and innovation, make full use of its advantages, strengthen international cooperation in all respects. And at the same time China integrate itself into the world economy on a wider scale and at a higher level. China is willing to work with its trading partners to cope with the various challenges facing the world economy and trade, and promote its foreign trade to realize a more balanced, coordinated and sustainable development, and share prosperity and mutually beneficial results with its trading partners.

모방전략의 유용성에 관한 연구: 이디야 사례 (Imitation as a Viable Strategy: The Case of Ediya in Korean Coffee Franchise Industry)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to examine the viability of imitation strategy. Imitation strategy is one of the strategic options that a late mover can choose, and by selecting the strategy, the company imitates key elements of the business model of first movers, and modifies them to suit its conditions. The author attempted to explain how the elements of first mover's business models were creatively adapted to suit the conditions of late movers so that they can secure market position face-to-face market leaders. Research design, data, and methodology - For the purpose of the study, Korean coffee franchise industry was selected to compare the strategies of first and late movers and to discuss imitation strategy in detail. The author conducted in-depth case study of first mover and business model innovator Starbucks and Ediya Coffee, one of their imitators. The paper examines how Ediya has imitated and modified the business model of Starbucks to secure its unique competitive position in domestic market by using value chain and generic strategy analysis. Results - Starbucks and Ediya were compared in terms of their interior design, the price level of beverages, the variety of side dishes, and shop locations. Starbucks have invested interior design heavily to shops, offered diverse beverages and side dishes with relatively high price, the shops are located in central areas, whereas Ediya has concentrated on achieving cost leadership in all value activities as maintaining the quality of key products. Ediya succeeded in achieving best-provider strategy, in which it enjoys both cost leadership and differentiation advantages, largely by the strategic alliance with the biggest coffee manufacturer, Dongsuh Foods in Korea. Conclusions - Though Ediya is the imitator of Starbucks, it has modified Starbucks business models and succeeded in providing the 'third place' experience for budget-minded customers. Ediya has also succeeded in benefiting its franchisees by lowering costs and simplifying the various tasks of coffee shop management. Due to these factors, Ediya could become one of the largest number shops as the coffee franchise in Korea.

The Implementation of Sustainable Manufacturing Practice in Textile Industry: An Indonesian Perspective

  • The intention of this paper is to give a better understanding about the implementation of sustainable manufacturing practice in the textile companies in Indonesia as one of the promising sectors in the manufacturing industry. The data was collected by taking a case study approach in one of the leading textile companies in Indonesia. Questionnaire and interview techniques were used to gather in-depth information about the implementation of a sustainable concept in the company. The result reveals that the extent of the implementation of Sustainable Manufacturing Practices (SMP) in the companies are at a level of moderate to high. From the three dimensions measured which are environment, economy, and social dimensions, the evaluation result shows good performance in terms of the implementation of sustainable concepts, like low level of gas emission, high percentage of renewable energy usage, cost reduction rate, high quality of life, etc. From this result, the authors then develop a sustainable manufacturing model in the wider coverage to be implemented not only in the textile industry but is expected to be implemented in manufacturing sectors as well. This model consists of at least seven basic archetypes which are divided into three dominant areas: technological innovation, economical, and social areas which aim to bring better performance in the manufacturing industry of Indonesia.

World Class SI 기업으로의 도약 : 핵심 경쟁력 확보를 위한 R&D 모델 개발 (A R&D Model for Korean SI Companies' International Competitiveness)

  • This thesis suggests a R&D model for Korean SI companies who aggressively drive oversea business to overcome domestic market limitation and to become world class SI players. Even though there have been a lot of discussions on IT technologies and new business models, scientific approach to a R&D model for SI companies is rare due to its natural distinctiveness from manufacturing and general service domain. Therefore, this will be a flagship thesis to keep up our study. As business market environment gets more competitive, major Korean SI players will be confronted with much more keen competition among themselves. And as they are willing to expand their oversea market presence, they can not help struggling against global SI players. So, here we are presenting SI players the reinforcement of R&D as one of the key components to build up their own core competencies. That is, SI players have to adopt and evaluate fast changing and complicated IT technologies at the right time, and to apply them into a real business with cost-effective service delivery and operation processes internally. The ultimate purpose of all of these activities is to offer a SI company the value added business model based on its innovative technical capabilities and well refined service deliver model. For this purpose, we suggests, SI company's R&D has to play an important role of emerging technology verification/evaluation/utilization, value added business model creation, future innovation lead, standard body participation, and effective service delivery and quality system development. To become a more effective R&D organization, hybrid R&D, in which central R&D and divisional sub R&D work together, is considered as an idea model. The reliability of the R&D model for Korean SI companies', here we suggest, has been checked by SI companies R&D specialists and on-site business people.

  • 한국에서 지난 50여년간 산업단지는 국가주력산업의 집적지로 경제성장에 있어 중요한 역할을 담당하였으나 이러한 노후산업단지가 가지고 있는 다양한 문제점으로 인하여 경쟁력 약화 요인으로 작용하고 있다 산업단지 유형 특성별 발전계획, 관리계획, 지원계획 등으로 구분하여 융복합 첨단산업단지로의 관리 육성을 위한 모델로 전환될 필요가 있다 이를 위하여 IoT를 기반으로 하는 클라우드 컴퓨팅, RFID, WSN, CPS, 빅데이터 분석 등의 신기술을 활용한 CIPs(Connected-Industrial parks)를 제안한다 이것은 각 CIP가 연결되어 확장된 개념으로서 물리적 자산을 소유, 운용하면서 운송, 창고, 제조 영역에서 다양한 서비스를 지원하는 허브라고 할 수 있다 이러한 CIPs를 통해서 네트워크형 협업 제조가 가능하고 지능형 물류 혁신으로 원가 절감, 납기단축, 품질향상 등을 달성하여 국가경쟁력의 혁신을 이룰 수 있을 것이다.

혁신 기술의 사회적 수용에 대한 영향요인의 탐색 - 스마트 모빌리티(Smart Mobility)를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Factors Influencing the Social Adoption Diffusion of Innovative Technology - Focuse on Smart Molility -)

  • 본 연구는 혁신기술에 대한 사회적 수용의 관점에서 스마트 모빌리티(smart mobility)의 수용에 미치는 영향요인을 탐색하였다. 혁신기술의 사회적 수용과 확산에 관한 이론고찰을 통해 혁신-수용에 미치는 영향요인, 지각된 유용성의 인식과 수용의도에 미치는 일련의 과정에 대한 구조방정식 모형을 설정하고, 이를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 분석에 필요한 자료는 2016년 8월 1일에서 12일 사이에 설문을 통해 수집하였으며, 수집된 534개의 설문이 분석에 이용되었다. 실증분석결과, 적합성과 상대적 이점은 지각된 유용성을 매개로 스마트 모빌리티의 사회적 수용에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤으나, 의사소통은 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 복잡성과 서비스품질은 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과에 기초하여 스마트 모빌리티의 사회적 수용과 관련된 시사점을 제공하였으며, 본 연구의 한계점과 이를 극복하기 위한 향후 연구방향도 제시하였다.

백운배의 화학성분과 생리활성 효과 (Chemical Composition and Physiological Activity of Native Pear c.v. ‘Baekwoon’)

  • This study examined the basic information on the native pear c.v. 'Baekwoon' grown in Mt. Baekwoonsan, Gwangyang, to develop as a local specialty product. the sensory characteristics, chemical compositions, and physiological activities of 'Baekwoon' pear were examined and compared with those of 'Niitaka' pear. Hardness of 'Baekwoon' pear was 19.30N, which was higher than 'Niitaka'. The sugar content of 'Baekwoon' was 11.5 $^{\circ}Brix$, which was lower than 'Niitaka'. The total amino acid contents of the fruit skin and flesh of 'Baekwoon' were 222 mg/100g dry weight (DW) and 130 mg/100g DW, respectively, which were much higher than those of 'Niitaka'. Especially, serine contents in fruit skin and flesh of 'Baekwoon' were 75.4 mg/100g DW and 40.2 mg/100g DW, respectively, which were significantly (p<0.05) higher than those of 'Niitaka'. However, physiological activities, such as total phenol content, DPPH radical scavenging activity, total flavonoid content and nitrite scavenging activity, of 'Baekwoon' were lower than or similar to those of 'Niitaka'. Consequently, vitamin and amino acid contents of 'Baekwoon' were better than those of 'Niitaka'. It is suggested to use fruit skin because of its good composition and physiological activities so that it helps to improve the quality and the biological activity.

국방경영 효율화를 위한 분석형 통계시스템 구축 (The Developing of Analytical Statistics System for the Efficiency of Defense Management)

  • Recently, management based on statistical data has become a big issue and the importance of the statistics has been emphasized for the management innovation in the defense area. However, the Military Management based on the statistics is hard to expect because of the shortage of the statistics in the military. There are many military information systems having great many data created in real time. Since the infrastructure for gathering data form the many systems and making statistics by using gathered data is not equipped, the usage of the statistics is poor in the military. The Analytical Defense Statistics System is designed to improve effectively the defense management in this study. The new system having the sub-systems of Data Management, Analysis and Service can gather the operational data from interlocked other Defense Operational Systems and produce Defense Statistics by using the gathered data beside providing statistics services. Additionally, the special function for the user oriented statistics production is added to make new statistics by handling many statistics and data. The Data Warehouse is considered to manage the data and Online Analytical Processing tool is used to enhance the efficiency of the data handling. The main functions of the R, which is a well-known analysis program, are considered for the statistical analysis. The Quality Management Technique is applied to find the fault from the data of the regular and irregular type. The new Statistics System will be the essence of the new technology like as Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, Data Standardization and Statistics Analysis and will be helpful to improve the efficiency of the Military Management.

행정 프로세스 확장에 따른 공공 데이터 융합 관리 방안 (Administration Process Extension and Public Data Convergence Management)

  • 최근 이슈가 되고 있는 '빅 데이터'의 사회적 잠재성을 정부의 대국민 서비스와 연계지어, 정부의 행정서비스 혁신에 빅데이터의 사상이 기여할 수 있는 구체적 방안을 모색하였다. 특히 주민 생활공간과 정부 업무공간의 이원화가 초래한 정부 행정서비스의 본원적 한계를 행정 프로세스의 외부 확장을 통해 극복할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다. 또한 이로부터 제기될 수밖에 없는 선결과제, 즉 주민 공간의 각종 사물데이터를 어떻게 행정 데이터 영역에 편입할 것인가에 대한 논의를 포함하였다. 이로써 행정서비스 영역에 대한 빅데이터 기반 조성이 신고와 신청에 의존하던 수동적 행정서비스를 선제적으로 바꿔내는데 어떤 역할을 할 수 있는지에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.

  • Since 1998 IMF economic crisis, hotel companys have made an operation innovation in generally to reinforce a competitive power. Never ther less, a structural depression with high expense of costs-low degree of efficiency and high price of commodities-low degree of growth during the last few years. And hotel companys were doing endeavor for conquer this depression with reshuffle of the personnal system and that systematizing an enterprise and production control. Hotel has more increase personnel expenses percents than increase sold price percents so that hotel reducing cook and as result, hotel has a problem from production selling of foodservice because that is insufficient of cook man power. On studying this research, an importancy of cusine department in inquire hotel and an efficiency man power control of cusine department influence on hotel marketing were made use of analysis for hotel kitchen management. The result of this study is like that. First, the quality of a hotel employee is directly related to that of hotel service, which is functioned as a principle factor on which success or failure of tie hotel very largely depends, Second, fair evaluation of merits. Third, cognition for job as expert. Fourth, the roles and competences of the employees were affected much by the inner or outer environmental changes surrounding the hotel enterprises. Fifth, do not underestimate an intelligent ability and will power of employee, and hotel company have to manage that the employees consult themselves about their things of department and improve with the master sense for job. Sixth, pay increase and intensive system. This system can raise the will to achievement for employee's job, and company can get many benefits from government. Seventh, the employees should be encouraged to have memberships of academic organizations, to actively participate in academic meetings, workshops, conferences, and forums in the area of job performance.
