반송용 SLIM의 추력제에에 의한 운전특성 (A Operating by the Direct Thrust Control of SLIM in Conveyor System)

  • In this paper, the thrust control of PWM Inverter-Fed SLIM(Single-sided Linear Induction Motor) is achieved with Space Vector control and PI control. The trembling of air gap length which is occurred between the primary winding core and the secondary structure of the SLIM must be minimized in order to get quick response characteristics. First, the equivalent circuits and voltage equations of SLIM are shown on th suitable d-q axis which analyze characteristics of the thrust and the normal force. Also, modeling and analysis of the equivalent circuits transferred d-q axis are able to make robust transient torque from the current regulation in the equivalent circuit. These results exemplified the direct drive of SLIM with the reference speed and torque were verified by experiments.

  • Interior permanent-magnet synchronous motors (IPMSMs) produce both magnetic and reluctance torques. The reluctance torque is due to the difference between the d- and q-axis inductances based on the geometric rotor structure. The steady-state performance analysis and precise control of the IPMSMs greatly depend on the accurate determination of the parameters. The three essential parameters of the IPMSMs are the armature flux linkage of the permanent magnet, the d-axis inductance, and the q-axis inductance. In the basic design step of an IPMSM, the inductance parameters are very important for determining the motor characteristics, such as the input voltage, torque, and efficiency. Thus, it is very important to accurately estimate the values of the motor inductances. The inductance parameters of IPMSMs have nonlinear characteristics along the magnet size because the iron core is saturated by the magnet and armature reaction fluxes. In this study, the inductance parameters were calculated using both the magnetic-equivalent-circuit method and the finite-element method (FEM). Then the calculated parameters were compensated by the saturation coefficient function, which was also calculated via the magnetic-equivalent-circuit method and FEM.

  • In this paper, the calculation torque using the d-q axis has advantage like faster execution time. However, the torque ripple can't be considered in the torque calculation using d-q axis equivalent circuit because the time-dependent component is removed. When d-q transformation was performed, it was founded that some parameters has some characteristics. These characteristics were considered for representing torque ripple. The calculation with d-q axis transformation and Finite Element Analysis(FEA) were performed, and the results were compared. As a result, it was validated that the calculated torque can be expressed with ripple.

  • This paper deals with steady-state analysis of a single-phase line-start permanent magnet synchronous motor. In order to analyze the steady-state characteristics, the asymmetric single-phase line-start synchronous motor is converted to the symmetric two-phase synchronous motor, that is, the asymmetric magnetic field is separated from the positive and the negative symmetric components using symmetrical-component theory. The analysis method of the synchronous motor on the d-q axis coordinates is used for the positive component and the equivalent circuit of the induction motor is applied for the negative component analysis. Moreover, d-q axis inductance considering current phase angle is applied to positive component analysis for precise characteristic analysis. In order to validate the proposed analysis method, the analysis results are compared with the experimental results.

  • In this paper, the equivalent circuit for the efficiency calculation by precise estimation of the linkage flux, inductance and iron loss resistance was calculated accurately. In addition, the driving characteristics according to the current phase angle are analyzed and the maximum efficiency point is calculated. And then, analyzed and experimental values of the efficiency were compared. So, causes of error were expected to be vibration and noise by harmonic distortion of the voltage and current, and mechanical loss of dynamometer.   • This paper deals with the cost reduction design of a single-phase line-start permanent magnet(LSPM) motor. Due to high cost of the permanent magnet(PM), cost reduction can be effectively achieved by reducing PM volume. Therefore, motor characteristics according to the PM volume are calculated by using d-q axis equivalent circuit analysis, and the characteristic map is made. In the characteristic map, maximum torque and efficiency are shown according to motor parameters such as back electromotive force(back emf) and inductances; back emf represents the PM volume. Minimum back emf and inductances satisfying output performance are determined in the characteristic map. Then, motor geometry based on the prototype motor is optimized to get the determined parameters using response surface methodology(RSM) and finite element method(FEM). Through the presented cost reduction design, total PM volume is reduced to 32% of prototype model.

  • Linear induction motor(LIM) have static and dynamic end effects due to its finite core length, so that per-phase impedances are asymmetric and the air gap flux distribution is distorted. So, this paper propose the d-q axis equivalent circuit and vector control method considering both static and dynamic end effects of the LIM. This vector control method consists of the slip frequency control, the time-invariant control and decoupling control. As a result, it is shown that the results of equivalent circuit method have a goof agreement with the results of finite element method.

  • Three-phase voltage and current is applied to the three-phase alternating current motors which are commonly used in industry. Three phase variables of a, b, c are converted into d, q, 0 axis and the AC machines are modeled and analyzed. Basically the coordinate transformation or d-q transformation is used for convenience, a few steps are needed to analyze the motor performances - separating d and q components, establishing each equivalent circuit, and solving the differential equations of the circuits. In this study, a modeling technique of induction motor using complex vector is proposed and it can explain the induction motor physically. This method does not need the separating process of d and q components. With this technique, the model becomes simple, is easy to understand in physical, and can get the same results with those from the other models. These simulation results of the proposed model are compared with them for the conformation of the proposed method.

  • This paper treats the dynamic analysis and test results of Linear Induction Motor. The dynamic analysis is performed by the d,q axis equivalent-circuit model. Equivalent-circut parameters are obtained with no-load, lock test and field analysis. As a results, simulation results are compared with that of dynamic test.

  • In this paper, designs of an Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM) and its motor driver for 42V automotive air condition system are introduced. The characteristics of the IPMSM are predicted by using d-q equivalent circuit having the parameters, such as current phase angle, d-q axis inductances, core loss resistance, etc. The experimental and analysis results of the prototype are compared to show validity of the analysis method, and to give analyzed characteristics in detail. As the result, an improved IPMSM is designed to widen the operating speed limit of prototype; a cost effective AC drive are considered at the same time.
