The Chicago Convention in 1944 made important contributions to aviation safety improvement, building an aviation safety monitoring system for its signatory countries. As ICAO is now on the verge of changing its supervision system from self-reporting to preventive Continuous Monitoring Approach(CMA) in 2013, we also expect our own safety system to make a progress accordingly. The government is pushing ahead with plans to build an integrated safety management system at government level that satisfies international standards and reflects domestic features. To this end, this report proposes the most effective system-building model, by analyzing the current status of the system that is in use and meets the requirements of international aviation agencies.

The Korean Government has produced the Health Plan 2010 aimed at setting up healthy Korea objectives, policies on preventing chronic diseases, reshaping the country's health and medical infrastructure. The policy goal targets the people's healthy life expectancy at 75 by 2010, and includes healthy life practice measures including health education, health improvement services, and disease management measures, in achieving the objectives. Also, the plan provides life cycle-based health improvement and disease prevention services, as well as pushes ahead with projects with greater ripple effects in each area. To this end, the government is simultaneously pushing to operate an experts-centered health promotion committee and establishing the infrastructure including the augmentation of national health improvement funds. Through its Health Plan 2010, the Korean Government will exert efforts to achieve its policy objectives as addressed in the measures by enhancing the national potential health and providing systematic disease prevention services.

시간 지연이 있는 시스템에서의 최적 제어 이득은 시간 지연이 없는 시스템에서 설계된 최적 제어 이득과 지연 시간에 대하여 계산된 상태천이 함수의 곱의 형태로 나타난다. 따라서 시간 지연이 없는 시스템에 대하여 PID제어기의 영점들을 플랜트의 최대 극점에 근접하도록 가중치 요소 Q와 R을 선택하여 최적 제어 이득을 구하고, 시간 지연이 있는 2차 시스템에서의 상태천이 함수를 계산하여 시간 지연이 있는 시스템에서의 강인한 최적 PID 제어기 설계가 가능하도록 하였다.

In these days, the big-size and high resolution multimedia file is widely used through networks. To transfer and service effectively, the internet network technology is necessary to substitute broadcasting. Normally Content Delivery Network(CDN) is widely used in conventional internet for multimedia services. But it has a small bandwidth to service. So to solve this problems, many researchers have suggest the protocol for download, content distribution/saving, server synchronization, caching, pushing rate, and streaming etc. But all of these has some defects like low resolution, packets loss and delay, real application implementations etc. So, this paper suggests a new method of network protocol based on P2P collaboration and user's content using information. And it evaluated the performance of suggested method. As the results, it showed the effectiveness of 4 performances indices : download speed, decreasing rate of connected user in same time, adaptive hit ratio, traffic decreasing rate.

Leisure motivation is an important concept in the study of leisure behavior. The purpose of this study was to examine visitors' motivations for hot spring resorts in Korea. The data were collected by questionnaires survey in three hot spring resorts in 1994:Suanbo, Paikam, and Chuksan. The findings of this study are summarized as follows: The eight motivation factors extracted by factor analysis such as; 1)"intellectual needs", 2)'escaping everyday life', 3)'closing nature', 4)'recognition or status', 5)'interaction with others', 6)'health', 7)'family vacation', 8)'hot spring bathing'. The three resorts showed significant deferences in the motivation of visitors. Visitors of Suanbo have high motivation for 'intellectual needs', 'interaction with others', and 'thealth', and visitors of Chuksan for 'closing nature', 'family vacation', and 'hot spring bathing'. This study has proved first, psychological(pushing) factors are more important than pulling factors of resorts, second, in pulling factors, natural sceneries were more important than medicinal properties of the hot springs. And this study found several important implications for predicting visitors' demand in hot spring resorts.

Many domestic organizations are pushing ahead with small hydropower business to develop a renewable energy. In addition each organization gradually spreads small hydropower business with searching the best site for it. And Kowaco (Korea Waters Resources Corporation) answers a purpose of the government policy to spread the wide use of a renewable energy. This study explains the researching programs for the best development sites for small hydropower generation with using water pipes managed and controled by Kowaco.

This paper is a part of the development on the safe navigation model of tugs and barges in Korea waters. desk-top tug-barge simulator is to train the crew of tugs and barges, especially tugs' crew. It is connected with steering and engine telegraph console and winch control console, and can describe three types of operation mode for a tug-barge working unit, towing mode, side by side and push mode. It can also record and assess each simulation run. The evaluation module can confirm the result of a finished simulation run and help trainees to find and correct their faults, and it is composed of result evaluation and process evaluation.

In this study, the plug weldability of STS 304 was investigated. The parameters which influence plug weldability were pushing pressure of the plates, position of welding wire and composition of shielding gases. Among these factors, the composition of shielding gases and hole diameter of the upper plate were found to be the major factors influencing weld quality. To evaluate weldability, tensile shear strength of the plug welded specimen was measured and compared with tensile strength of butt welded specimen. Hardness was measured for both plug weld and butt weld. The microstructure of the weld metal and HAZ were also characterized.

The design and test of an magnetostrictive linear motor(MLM) that operates based on self-moving cell concept is presented. The moving cell is composed of Terfenol-D linear actuator and a ring structure, and a cell train is constructed by connecting two cells in series. Since this motor uses the stroke of Terfenol-D actuators and friction force of the cells, it can essentially produce long stroke and large force. The overall performance of the MLM was measured in terms of speed and force. The pushing force is directly related with the friction force. This work is a proof-of-concept stage and investigation is necessary for realistic application.
