A Study of Consumers' Purchasing Intention for National Brands in the Context of Sino-US Trade War - Take China Huawei Company as an exle

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the purchasing intentions of Chinese consumers to Huawei and other domestic brands in the context of the current Sino-US trade war. Taking the mass consumers as the research object, this paper designs Likert five-level scale to investigate consumers' purchase intention of domestic products in the future, and uses SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 statistical software to analyze and process statistical data. Using questionnaire survey and exploratory factor analysis, this paper constructs a model to analyze the impact of consumer ethnocentrism on consumers' purchase intention. By summarizing the overall purchasing intention of consumers, it is concluded that the development of domestic brands in the context of trade war is facing difficulties and challenges in the future, but at the same time, we must seize the opportunity of consumers' ethnocentrism under this background to positively influence their purchasing intention, make up for shortcomings, eliminate overcapacity, and seek greater development through technological innovation.

  • This study performed a analysis of customer purchasing behavior in family restaurant. The type of family restaurant marketing activity was classified to free gift promotion, special menu promotion, discount promotion, membership program, coupon, co-marketing promotion were assumed to stimulus. The awareness of stimulus and exposure, attention, comprehension process was assumed to attraction and the contribution of stimulus was assumed to satisfaction on this study. A sample of study is assigned women customers are core customer group not family restaurant but all of industry. The study has showed co-marketing is the most outstanding marketing activity in family restaurant all of aspects and the awareness and attraction of co-marketing is higher than satisfaction. A result of t-test for awareness and attraction of discount and coupon promotion is attended. Attraction of them is higher than awareness. But satisfaction of them is lower than attraction means that family restaurants should makes an effort to develop the customer satisfaction to ensure customer loyalty through the discount and coupon promotion. On one-way ANOVA of awareness, attraction and satisfaction by age, discount and coupon promotion is related to it Speciality as low age as sensitive in awareness, attraction, satisfaction of discount promotion.

중.고등학생의 교복 재활용 활성화에 관한 연구 (Studies on The Reutilization of Used School Uniform of Middle and High School Students)

  • 교복 재활용 시장을 통한 교복 구매는 환경오염을 줄일 수 있고, 성장기의 청소년이 경제적으로 자신의 치수에 맞는 교복을 구매하고 착용할 수 있어 의복에 관한 만족감을 높일 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 중 고등학생의 교복 재활용 활성화를 위하여 서울, 경기 지역 8개교의 중 고등학생 741명을 대상으로 교복 구매 행동, 교복 재활용 시장에 대한 인식, 교복 재활용 시장 운영 실태에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교복 만족도는 현재 자신의 치수에 맞는 교복을 착용할수록 높게 나타나므로 교복 만족도를 높이기 위해서 자신에게 맞는 치수의 교복을 착용하는 것이 중요하다. 둘째, 환경의식과 환경보전행동이 높을수록 교복 재활용 인식이 높게 나타난다. 교복 재활용 시장 인식을 높이기 위해서는 환경의식과 환경보전행동을 높일 수 있는 체계적인 환경 교육과 재활용 행사의 활성화가 중요하다. 셋째, 재활용 교복을 구매하지 않은 이유로는 재활용 시장의 접근성과 위생 문제로 나타났다. 따라서 교복 재활용 시장 활성화를 위해서는 합리적인 의복구매행동, 환경의식과 환경보전행동을 고취할 수 있는 환경교육과 재활용 행사가 효율적으로 이루어져야하고, 재활용 교복 시장의 접근성과 홍보, 세탁과 수선 서비스의 개선이 필요하다.

  • The purposes of this research were to investigate the influences of shopping value, brand awareness, and the types of sales promotion on the purchase of bundled cosmetics. In experiment, 1) shopping value 2) brand awareness 3) types of sales promotion were manipulated as independent variables, and consumer preference and purchasing intention of bundle of cosmetics were measured as dependent variables. This research was an experimental design which was $2{\times}2{\times}2$ mixed factorial design. For the data analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, three-way ANOVA were used by utilizing SAS program. The main results of the study were summarized as follows: First, the results indicated that the consumer of hedonic shopping value have a positive effect on preferring price-cut sales, especially if brand awareness is high. Second, the consumer of utilitarian shopping value preferred price-cut sales to special offer, irrespective of brand awareness. This result indicates that consumers who gets more involved in and enjoys shopping are likely to have more brand awareness than others. This. seems to be the important characteristics of shopping. Consumer who have utilitarian shopping value concerned in price. The result showed the 3-way interaction effects on the consumer preference of bundle of cosmetics.

An analysis of the effects of Japan's nuclear power plant accident on Korean consumers' response to imported food consumption

  • This study was intended to identify the main factors responsible for the decline in purchase of imported agricultural and fish products after Japan's nuclear power plant accident in 2011 and to compare the effects on imported agricultural produce and imported fish products. Logit model and multiple regression model analyses were performed using consumers' survey data. Psychological and qualitative factors reflecting consumers' food safety awareness and purchasing preferences, which were extracted by Factor analysis, were included as the models' explanatory variables, along with socio-demographic and economic factors. The Logit estimation showed aged, married, and low-income households had significantly higher probability of reducing their purchases of imported agricultural and fish products. However, the multiple regression results pointed out that the actual rate of decrease of imported agricultural and fish products purchases were more significantly affected by non-socio demographic factors such as past experience of purchasing imported agricultural and fish products, future intention to purchasing Japanese agricultural and fish products, and the ratio of imported to domestic agricultural and fish products before the nuclear accident, as well as consumers' feeling of food insecurity and their purchasing preferences. Moreover, the results showed that Korean consumers have reacted more sensitively to the decline in imported fish products than imported agricultural produce after the nuclear accident based on the marginal effects of various socio-demographic and economic factors.

The Effect of Digital Marketing on Purchasing Decisions: A Case Study in Jordan

  • The main objective of this research was to analyze the influence of digital marketing on purchasing decisions. The research was guided by specific aims; to evaluate numerous digital marketing platforms in Jordan that can affect the purchasing decisions and identify product categories purchased by customers on digital media platforms. Furthermore, questionnaires were given based on a simple sampling technique and acquired in the Jordanian market. 300 questionnaires were distributed, and 220 available samples were gathered, except for incomplete questionnaires, resulting in a 73% response rate to all those who selected to participate. Descriptive analysis, reliability test, correlation test, and multiple regressions were used in this research. Moreover, this study's results demonstrated that digital marketing, such as social media marketing and mobile marketing, has a profound impact on consumer purchasing decisions. However, hypothesis testing demonstrated that there are many patronized digital media platforms in Jordan that affect student behavior. Jordanian students buy various product categories on digital media platforms, and digital marketing affects student decision-making. Finally, the results of this study suggest that firms should adopt strategies to leverage the digital world and technology, increase brand awareness through digital platforms to continue competing in today's commercial environment.

로컬푸드를 이용한 간편식에 관한 MZ세대 소비자의 인식 연구 (A Study on the Perception of MZ Generation Consumers on HMR using Local Food)

  • This study examined the MZ Generation Consumers' perception and needs of HMR (Home Meal Replacement) using local food. The paper provides basic data for deriving a plan to promote local food consumption and reports the implications for various development and distribution strategies regarding HMR using local food. In this study, a quantitative survey was conducted targeting 600 consumers to examine the general consumption status of HMR using local food by MZ consumers. In addition, a qualitative survey was conducted targeting 21 people to derive the specific perceptions and unmet needs of MZ consumers. These results showed that MZ consumers require healthy and fresh HMR but have low awareness of HMR using local food. Therefore, it is necessary to deliver sufficient information and promote it. In particular, MZ consumers have high expectations for 'healthy and safe' food when purchasing HMR using local food, which plays an important role in purchasing decisions. They also valued 'convenience', which means 'simple cooking', 'subdivision packaging', and 'accessibility of purchasing channels', as important when purchasing HMR using local food. Lastly, MZ consumers positively evaluated the values of 'healthy eating' and 'revitalization of the local economy' through local food.

그린광고가 소비자태도에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 -메시지 효과에 관련하여- (A Study on the Influence of Green Advertisement on the Attitude of Consumers -Concerning the Message Effect-)

  • 요즈음 환경에 대한 교육적 의미와 그린제품의 보다 많은 확산과 환경보호의 차원에서 그린광고의 필요성과 중요성이 증가되고 있음에도 불구하고 광고 전략상의 문제로서 특히 그린광고에 대한 연구가 거의 이루어지지 않은 점에 착안하여 소비자들의 환경에 대한 인식을 북돋우고 그린제품 구매자뿐만 아니라 비그린제품 구매자의 그린제품 구매를 유도한다는 차원에서 그린광고에 대한 연구를 하였다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 그린광고가 소비자태도에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구로서 특히 메시지구조(결론생략/제시)측면과 관여를 고려한 상황에서 그린광고가 어떠한 메시지구조로 이루어져 있을 때 효과적인가를 알아보기 위해 그린/비그린제품 광고가 소비자의 인지/감정/행도에 대한 태도에 따라 어떠한 차이를 보이는지를 알아보고, 그린/비그린제품 광고의 경우 메시지구조(결론생략/제시)에 따라 어떠한 차이를 보이며 어떠한 메시지구조를 취할 때 광고의 효과가 나타나는지를 살펴본다. 그리고 그린/비그린제품 광고의 관여(고/저)에 따라 차이를 보이는지를 분석하고 어떤 상황에서 어떠한 메시지구조를 선택하는 것이 효과적인지를 살펴본다. 즉, 수많은 광고에 노출되고 있는 소비자들이 그린광고에 대해서는 어떠한 시각을 갖고 있으며 그린광고의 형태에 메시지의 결론을 제시해서 설득적인 의도를 표현하는 것이 효과적인지 메시지의 결론을 생략해서 설득적인 의도를 숨기고 소비자들이 스스로 추론하고 정보탐색을 하도록 하는 메시지구조가 그린광고의 형태에 효과적인지를 밝혀서 앞으로의 그린광고의 제작 및 메시지구조 측면에 있어서 그린광고의 효과와 개선에 도움을 주고 그럼으로써 많은 그린제품 확산에도 기여하고자한다.

중고등학생의 업사이클링 인지와 업사이클 패션제품 구매행동에 따른 환경의식, 의복재활용행동, 패션관심 (Environmental consciousness, clothing recycling behavior and interest in fashion by awareness of upcycling and purchasing behavior for upcycled fashion products of middle & high school students)

  • 중고등학생을 대상으로 업사이클링에 대한 인지와 업사이클 패션제품 구매행동에 따른 환경의식, 의복재활용행동, 패션관심의 차이를 살펴보았다. 중고등학생의 환경의식은 여자가 남자보다 높으며, 의복재활용행동은 디자인계 고등학생이 일반계 고등학생보다 높게 나타났다. 패션관심은 고등학생이 중학생보다, 디자인계 고등학생이 일반계 고등학생보다, 여학생이 남학생보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 업사이클링에 대한 인지는 낮게 나타났는데 중학교와 일반고보다 디자인고에서 그리고 남학생보다 여학생이 많이 알고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 업사이클링에 대한 정보는 인터넷과 방송매체를 통해 얻는 것으로 나타났으며, 업사이클링에 대해 인지하는 학생들이 인지하지 못하는 학생들보다 환경의식, 의복재활용행동, 패션관심 모두 높게 나타났다. 중고등학생은 업사이클링에 대한 인지가 높지 않아 업사이클 패션제품을 구매한 경험이 적으며, 구매경험이 있는 학생들은 환경의식, 의복재활용행동과 패션관심이 모두 높게 나타났다. 업사이클 패션제품을 구매한 이유는 독특함과 디자인 때문인 것으로 나타나 환경보호 차원에서 시작된 업사이클 패션제품이라고 하더라도 제품의 디자인이 구매에 중요한 역할을 하는 것을 알 수 있었다.

캐릭터를 의류상품에 응용하기 위한 신세대 소비자 정보 분석 (Analysis of Young Adult Information Concentrating on the Significance of Application of Cartoon Characters on Garments)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a large representative data base for character goods marketing strategy. The study was to determine character name awareness in relation to segmented distribution regions and such demographic variables as sex and age. The author also analyzed preferred design. A total of 360 questionnaires were distributed and 359 reliable ones were used for statistical analysis. A SAS statistical package including frequency tables and Chi square test and factor analysis and Kendall′s relation analyses was used. The results are as follow : character name awareness involves "character name decognition" based on asking subjects to identify character names from 50 given names. "Tele-tubbies" was found to be a dominant commercial character name as a result of the recognition test, and "Sailer-moon" was found to be a dominant animation character goods as a result of the recognition test. Character recognition was significantly different in the segmented distribution legions, three age groups and different sex groups. People considered design first in purchasing any character goods, and they considered color second in purchasing them. The most favored part of garment far character to be stitch to was the center front in the T-shirt/dress shirt, the center back in the Jumper/jacket, back pocket in the trousers/skirt. The results of a Chi-square test showed that preferred part in the trousers/skirt of character was related with age variables.
