The factor analysis of e-WOM acception motive extracted two factors: risk reduction and confidence. The factor analysis of e-WOM transmission motive extracted three factors: Compensation/pleasure, advice, and emotion expression. 2. The two motives of e-WOM acception affected acception behavior. There is no doubt that distribution channels and services greatly satisfy consumers' desires. Lots of products and services, stimulate consumers to purchase products to relieve their depressed feeling/stress temporarily, leading them gradually to a shopping addiction. Shopping addiction generates lots of problems, damaging not only consumers themselves but also other consumers and the entire society. Therefore, the purposes of this study were 1) to examine psychological factors that affected addictive shopping orientation of consumers, 2) to explore the effects addictive shopping orientation on the post-purchase emotions(positive emotion/negative emotion), 3) to examine the effect of post-purchase emotions on post-purchase behaviors (repurchasing/refund and exchange/negative word of mouth). 4) the study explored the differences in terms of effects of addictive shopping orientations on post-purchase emotions and behaviors, depending on the retailing channel (online and off line). The study performed a questionnaire survey for female adults older than 18 years old, living Seoul and Pusan areas. By using 404 copies for questionnaires, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and Amos 7.0 were used for the data analysis. It was found that psychological variables, self-esteem, compensatory buying and impulsiveness, had significant effects on addictive shopping orientations. Addictive shopping orientations affect both positive and negative post-purchase emotions in case of off-line shopping. Negative post-purchase emotions have higher impact on the postpurchase behaviors than positive post-purchase emotions.

A study is presented that examines the effect of personality on preference and purchase intention of positive and negative novelty design products. Participants evaluated their preference and purchase intention on 18 design products including positive and negative novelty design products. A cute Scream character was created as a positive novelty design and a skeleton Mickey character was used as a negative one. We measured extroversion, neuroticism, and visual product aesthetics as individual traits. The results shows that people, of course, prefer(and want to buy) the positive novelty design product to the negative novelty design product. Only in the case of the negative novelty design product, the more neurotic people is, the more they prefer it. Also, among the people who like the negative novelty design product, introvert ones are likely to purchase it but extroverted ones are not. These findings imply that personality plays an important role in liking and purchasing negative novelty design product.

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of the gloss of a product's packaging on purchase intention and the mediating role of perceived corporate eco-friendliness and perceived quality in food area. The participants were randomly assigned to product package condition (glossy vs. matte) and after observing ketchup and potato chips, they responded to questions on about perceived corporate eco-friendliness, perceived quality, and purchase intention. The participants reported their opinion that companies that manufactured matte package products would likely use more organic ingredients and would be more eco-friendly than companies that manufactured glossy package products. The more the participants perceived a company to be eco-friendly, the better they evaluated the company's product quality and the higher their purchase intention. This study has theoretical and practical implications, in that it extends the study of the product package in relation to its effect on corporate image, and it proposes a practical use of matte product package for improving the eco-friendly image of the company. Limitations and further research were also discussed.
Augmented reality (AR) is the technology in which a virtual image made by computer is integrated with the real world. Food is one of the most popular products purchased online. In this study, we investigated how the presentation of food images with AR affects purchase intention and user engagement. We hypothesized that purchase intention was increased more by AR food images than by static food images. We also examined whether user engagement mediates the relationship between image presentation format and purchase intention. To test this hypothesis, participants in one group saw AR food images, and participants in another group saw static food images on an iPad. All participants then answered questions about user engagement and purchase intention. As predicted, participants who saw an AR food image reported higher user engagement and higher purchase intention than did those who saw a static food image. The indirect effect of user engagement was also significant, and the link between image presentation format and purchase intention was fully mediated by user engagement. We also found that aesthetic appeal, one of the sub-factors of user engagement, fully mediated the link between image presentation format and purchase intention. Thus AR images of food images were aesthetically more appealing, which led to higher purchase intention. These findings suggest that AR technology can be used effectively as a way to advertise food.
This study aims at providing basic data for product planning to design smart clothing and to develop applications, focusing on consumers by satisfying their emotions through analyzing emotional factors on smart clothing, comparing emotional differences between conventional clothing and it, reviewing changes of consumers' emotion by integrating the product and clothing and researching differences of preference and purchase intention between smart clothing and traditional one. As the results of the study, emotional factors for smart clothing were analyzed with total 6 including 'technical', 'comfort', 'aesthetic', 'modern', 'fun' and 'multiple' factors. Among them, except for 'comport', five emotional factors showed emotional factors between conventional sport-casual clothing and smart clothing. That is, emotional factors of 'technical', 'aesthetic', 'modern', 'fun' and 'multiple' were emphasized more in smart clothing than conventional ones, indicating that they should be considered in planning products of smart clothing. Though there was no significant difference of preference between smart clothing and conventional clothing, in case of comparison of averages, that of smart clothing was a little higher. For purchase intention, smart clothing was lower than the conventional clothing. So preference seems to be not directly related to consumers' immediate purchase. To make consumers' interests and preference to result in purchase, it is necessary to develop smart clothing with more various applications and to prepare commercializing strategies. As the results of the analysis on free-descriptive questionnaire survey, consumers were interested in development of smart clothing to help diet with functions including energy harvesting from body motion, calorification and perspiration, measurement of motion and calory consumption as well as health-care type smart clothing to measure heartbeat and ECG. Reflecting these requirements from the consumers, they should be utilized as guidance to develop smart clothing in the future.
