This study aims to suggest measures for handling copyright information on government publications during records and archives management to use them freely as public works according to Article 24-2 of the Copyright Act in Korea. Through email interviews with 17 records managers, persons in charge of government publication management, and government staff with experience in production from April 4 to June 13, 2022, this study determined the current situations and problems related to producing and managing copyright information on government publications. Based on the interview findings, this research suggested the following. First, Article 24-2 of the Copyright Act must be revised to apply the Korea Open Government License (KOGL) type 1 mandatorily to all public works. Second, a cooperative system for managing copyright information on government publications should be established to improve their production and management effectiveness. Third, copyright information, such as authors, copyright holders, copyright duration, information on the copyright property transfer, public works status, and reasons for nonpublic works, must be managed through records and archives management systems. Fourth and last, information on public works must be provided during the registration number application for government publication so that everyone can access the full texts of the publications on the National Archives of Korea website.

The books and circulation-related data in the Online Public Access Catalog System of the H-Public library were collected and analyzed in this paper. The methods which may be applied to the Customer Relationship Management in a public library based on the results were also suggested here. Collected data were 57,927 bibliographic data of books, 11,871 patron data and 27,145 circulation records. The type of collections. circulation frequencies, total number of circulated books, publication year, and use factor as relation factor from the analyzed data of circulation records were extracted. They were also analyzed, and verified by various statistical methods such as correlation coefficient, non-parametric method, etc.

This study sets out to assess achievement of two series of publication titled "the Geography of Korea", which established itself as the most representative publication on Korea's geography. For assessment, this study selected Delphi method to survey Korean geographical professionals on the publication by requesting respondents to rate the adequacy of its: publishing system, production team organization, array of topics, target reader, classification of regions, and use of visual materials. The results showed the respondents highly appreciated the significance of the publications and generally agreed that the past publications had adequate level of: publication frequency, time allowed for writing, number of pages, selection criteria of authors, range of topics, region classification schemes. On the other hand, dissatisfaction from the respondents came from the lack of chief supervisor over each section or the whole publication. The geographers also stressed the need to enhance the publication's accessibility to the wider public by adopting easier writings and also requested diversification of visual aid design. This study also examined the difference between respondent groups by occupations and by past involvement in the publication. The result of this study can serve as a foundation to identify the desirable direction of future publications on "the Geography of Korea".

This study presents the publication of books by Guam LeeJung who is a Confucian scholar and a public official in 16th century. He played important roles in editing, correcting, and publishing of 20 books, of which 3 books were edited and published by him; 4 books corrected and published; and 12 books published. His works were helped by contemporary scholars and officials such as LeeWhang, NamgungChim, KimChungkap, and KimHong. All the books are related with Confucian studies except one book, and they were published in the period from 1554 and 1566 when he serve as the head of counties, Sungju(성주), Kyungju(경주), and Sunchun(순천). The publication record of one book is unclear, and all others were printed with woodblocks.

Objectives: Previous studies have reported inconsistent findings in the association between dental diagnostic X-ray exposure and thyroid cancer. This study was a meta-analysis of case-control studies evaluating the association between exposure to dental radiation and the thyroid cancer risk. Methods: We searched the PubMed and EMBASE databases to identify studies on dental radiation and thyroid cancer risks that were published up to September 2018. Quality of studies was assessed using the Newcastle-Ottawa scale. A fixed-effects model was used to estimate pooled odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) using STATA 14.0. Potential publication biases were evaluated using Egger's test and Begg's funnel plot. Results: From the literature search, we included six case-control studies in this meta-analysis. The meta-analysis using the fixed-effects model found that dental X-ray exposure was associated with 2.34 times increased risk for thyroid cancer (OR=2.34, 95% CI=1.79-3.21). There was no heterogeneity in the data (p=0.662, I² =0%). Egger's test showed that there was no publication bias (p=0.532). Conclusions: This meta-analysis confirmed the association of dental X-ray exposure and thyroid cancer risk. The current results underscore the importance of applying safety regulations at dental clinics to protect thyroid glands during dental radiography examinations.

The two urban-area public libraries and two rural ones that are located in the Gyungsangnam-do province were selected for this paper, and the circulation records in 2007 were collected, and both MS-excel and SPSS were used for their analysis. The collected data were categorized into their collection type, circulation frequencies, and subjects. Also the four libraries were compared and analyzed again for the purpose of comparing the characteristics of the public libraries in urban and rural areas. The number of circulated books, lent number, use factor, and the number of publication lapse year were extracted and analyzed using various types of statistical methods such as correlation coefficient and nonparametric chi-square analysis, etc. as well as descriptive ones.

Korean life insurance medical association's public periodical, the Journal of Korean Life Insurance Medical association (J Kor Lif Ins Med Assoc, JKLIMA) is now published $27^{th}$ issue. From this issue there are some changes of the journal than before. It is because general requirements for medical journals from the Korean association of medical journals editors. It can be remedy for the development of JKLIMA, in terms of academicism. First, the style of the manuscripts, medical opinion of insurance administration is added. This style of manuscript needs not keep the format of original research article such as background, materials, results, and discussion. Secondly, It is emphasized that submitted manuscripts must be reviewed by peer reviewers. Thirdly, we will make an effort to globalization of our journal. Lastly the publication period has been changed from annual to biannual. The publication date will be at March 31st and September 30th every year.

This study attempts at the engraving place of wood-printing plates held in the Haein Temple(해인사), which were famous for playing the significant role in the understanding of publishing activities of both the Koryo and Choson Dynasty. Following the common way the bibliographic elements of the books were analyzed namely according to the publication place and the publisher. The findings derived from the analysis are summarized as follows; In the Haeinsa the wood-printing plates books are preserved moved from 17 temples such as Bongso-Sa(봉서사), Hago-Sa(하고사), Soksuam(석수암), Inhung-Sa(인흥사), Wonkwang-Sa(월광사), Sinha-Sa(신하사), Gunsyaeng-Sa(군생사), Jangsu-Sa(장수사), Yongtong-Sa(영통사), Wonjok-Sa(원적사), Unjin(은진) SSanggye-Sa(쌍계사), Songsan(성산) SSanggye-Sa(쌍계사), Hungyul-Sa(흥률사), Jongwon-Sa(정원사), Yon-Sa(연사), Gamro-Sa(감로사), Yongguam(영귀암) besides the publications of temples, there are publications of local branches of gangyengdogam(간경도감) such as Jinju(진주), Sangju(진주), Sangju(상주), Andong(안동), of local public agencies such as Gaelimbu(계림부), Dalsunggwan(달성관), and of private families of which 8 titles in the Koryo Dynasty and 13 titles of the Choson Dynasty. Among the "SSanggyae-Sa(쌍계사) publication" held in the Haeinsa, 9 titles including Chimungyonghun(치문경훈) are recklesaly preserved with dividing both in Gap temple(갑사) and in Haeinsa as the same publication. It is possible that other scattered present publications or remaining publications might have been remaining publication from those partly burnt ones of the complete publications. By means of the investigation on the catalogs of publications, 5 titles such as <> <> <> <> <> which are now kept in the Haeinsa moved from the Taegubu(대구부) or Yongyon-Sa(용연사) were newly identified.

Government Publications are published to keep records of governmental activities and performances. In a rapidly changing information-oriented society, it is badly required for the operation system of government publications and a library to be effectively managed with government publications for satisfying 'right to know' of people and improving the obligation of government to 'let people know.' Accordingly, the purpose of this paper is to analyze such five research items as the situation of the publication and distribution of, government publications, the operation system of the publications in library, the number of publications regarding secondary information sources for the publications, and the legal deposit of the publications in the National Library, in order to proceed with a subject as to how much the government publication is satisfying 'right to know' of people. The research findings were suggested as follow : 1) Despite the fact that the publication of government publications has been gradually increased every year in numbers and kinds, it is unfortunately pointed out that the publications, distributions and sellings of them were not well organized and systematic. That is, the government publications had not been published more than 1.47% of all publications in number. Moreover, more than the half of the publications were non-periodically or annually published. To make the matter worse, it was not easy to get an access to the publications because of the publications not to be sold. 2) It a n.0, ppears that people could not use the publications efficiently because the library and administrative document office did not pay sufficient attention to public relations for all sorts of government publications. Not only that, there were not enough numbers of publications regarding such secondary information sources as bibliography, index and catalog. A speedy searching capacity for the information gave rise to another serious problem which the government publications could not be effectively used. 3) It is legally stated that all sorts of government publication should be deposited to the National Libraries. However, the law was not properly put into force because of lack of understanding of government agencies about the law.

Online social network services that are rapidly growing recently store tremendous data and analyze them for many research areas. To enhance the effectiveness of information, companies or public institutions publish their data and utilize the published data for many purposes. However, a social network containing information of individuals may cause a privacy disclosure problem. Eliminating identifiers such as names is not effective for the privacy protection, since private information can be inferred through the structural information of a social network. In this paper, we consider a new complex attack type that uses both the content and structure information, and propose a model, $\ell$-degree diversity, for the privacy preserving publication of the social network data against such attacks. $\ell$-degree diversity is the first model for applying $\ell$-diversity to social network data publication and through the experiments it shows high data preservation rate.
