선박의 해양 부식과 부식방지 장치 (Apparatus on Corrosion Protection and Marine Corrosion of Ship)

  • Ships and offshore structures are exposed to harsh marine environments, and maintenance and repair are becoming increasingly important to the industry and the economy. The major corrosion phenomenons of metals and alloys in marine environment are pitting corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, crevice corrosion, fatigue corrosion, cavitation-erosion and etc. due to the effect of chloride ions and is quite serious. Methods of protection against corrosion can generally be divided into two groups: anodic protection and cathodic protection. Anodic protection is limited to the passivity characteristics of a material in its environment, while cathodic protection can apply methods such as sacrificial anode cathodic protection and impressed current cathodic protection. Sacrificial anode methods using Al and Zn alloys are widely used for marine structures and vessels intended for use in seawater. Impressed current cathodic protection methods are also widely used in marine environments, but tend to generate problems related to hydrogen embrittlement caused by hydrogen gas generation. Therefore, it is important to the proper maintenance and operation of the various corrosion protection systems for ship in the harsh marine environment.

패션기업의 사회적 책임활동이 기업이미지와 구매인도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Corporate Social Responsibility on the Corporate Image and Purchase Intention)

  • This study examines the effect of corporate social responsibility on the corporate image and purchase intention. The data were obtained from 320 male and female 'C' university students in Daejeon in October of 2010. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, regression analysis using the SPSS-WIN 15.0 and AMOS 7.0 program. The results were as follows. First, corporate social responsibility consists of five dimensions: community/cultural service, social contribution, environmental protection, consumer protection/legal responsibility, and economic responsibility. Purchase intention consists of comparative purchase and priority purchase. Second, social contribution, consumer protection/legal responsibility, and economic responsibility affect the corporate image. Third, social contribution and consumer protection/legal responsibility also affect purchase intention. Forth, the corporate image affects purchase intention. The findings of this study are expected to be used as basic data for establishing differentiated marketing strategies in fashion company.

  • After more 60 years' legislative practice of water resources protection, the Chinese government has initially established a legislative system of water resources protection, based on Water Law. From the development course of water resources protection legislation, the paper mainly analyzes the legal framework, main content & management system of water resources protection, and pointed out the improved direction of water resources conservation legislation in China in the future.

개방형 혁신활동의 수준이 혁신성과에 미치는 영향: 기술보호의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The effect of levels of open innovation activity on innovation performance: Focusing on the mediating effect of technology protection)

  • 본 연구에서는 개방형 혁신활동의 수준을 너비와 깊이라는 두 차원으로 나누어 이들이 혁신성과에 미치는 영향을 파악하고, 기술보호의 매개효과를 실증 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위해 한국기업혁신조사(KIS, 2018)에 응답한 기업 중 혁신성과를 도출한 경험을 보유한 제조업과 서비스업 기업 1,403개사를 대상으로 다중선형회귀분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 적용하였다. 분석 결과, 개방형 혁신활동의 너비는 급진적 혁신성과에 긍정적인(+) 영향을 미쳤으며 개방형 혁신활동의 깊이는 점진적 혁신성과에 긍정적인(+) 영향을 미쳤다. 기술보호의 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 혁신활동의 너비와 급진적 혁신활동 사이에는 부분매개를, 깊이와 급진적 혁신활동 사이에는 완전매개를 하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 개방형 혁신을 추진하는 기업과 그 중에서도 기술의 획득을 통해 제품혁신을 추진하는 기업에게 중요한 시사점을 제시하고 있다.

응급구조학과 대학생들의 윤리적 가치관과 의료정보보호에 대한 인식 및 실천 (Paramedical students' ethical values, awareness, and practice toward medical information protection)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the ethical values of paramedics and their awareness and practice of medical information protection protocols. Methods: A survey was conducted involving 300 university students majoring in a four-year paramedical education program at two universities in Daejeon and Chungnam. Ultimately 220 surverys were subjected to analysis. Results: There was a significant difference in students' perception of medical information protection according to the need for education on medical information protection protocol (p=0.022); however, there were no significant differences in the practice of these protocols. The idealism tendency was positively correlated with the awareness of medical information protection (r=.332, p=.000) and the practice of medical information protection (r=.309, p=.001). A tendency toward relativism was significantly associated with the awareness of medical information protection (r=.138, p=.040) and not significantly related to the practice of medical information protection protocols. The tendency toward idealism tended to have a significant positive effect on the awareness of medical information protection protocols (β=.318, t=4.777, p=.000) and the degree of practice (B=.369, t=3.456, p=.001). Conclusion: Appropriate educational programs for medical information protection are needed. These programs should adhere to the characteristics of the department by linking with the training institution.

방음 보호구 종류별 소음저감 효과에 대한 주관적 반응 (Subjective Responses to the Anti-noise Effect According to Different Types of Soundproof-protector)

  • Since the working machine generates an excessive loud noise as much as its use-purpose and dimension, those damages are occurring to the exposed workers such as unpleasant sense, stress and occupational hearing-impaired. Accordingly, as one of the measures for prevention such loud noise, various soundproof protection tools were developed. However, such soundproof protection tools were presented the physical measured value only, it is real state that the psychological study result with regard to the soundproof effect which the workers are actually feeling, is not existing. On such point of view, with the object on the typical earplugs and earcaps among the soundproof protection tools, this study has ever tried a subjective evaluation about the degree of soundproof effect through Psycho-acoustics experiment. It is considering that such study result could be utilized as the useful material when establishing the soundproof measure for the workers in the future.

A Safety Assessment Methodology for a Digital Reactor Protection System

  • The main function of a reactor protection system is to maintain the reactor core integrity and the reactor coolant system pressure boundary. Generally, the reactor protection system adopts the 2-out-of-m redundant architecture to assure a reliable operation. This paper describes the safety assessment of a digital reactor protection system using the fault tree analysis technique. The fault tree technique can be expressed in terms of combinations of the basic event failures such as the random hardware failures, common cause failures, operator errors, and the fault tolerance mechanisms implemented in the reactor protection system. In this paper, a prediction method of the hardware failure rate is suggested for a digital reactor protection system, and applied to the reactor protection system being developed in Korea to identify design weak points from a safety point of view.

The Inter-tie Protection Schemes of the Utility Interactive Dispersed Generation Units for Distribution Automatic Reclosing

  • Dispersed Generation (DG) units significantly effect the existing distribution protection practices. Therefore, new protection practices of the distribution system interconnected with DG units should be reevaluated and developed. In this paper, a new inter-tie protection scheme of DG units for distribution automatic reclosing is proposed. The impact of DG units on existing radial-sectionaliser coordination is analyzed. And the effects of the distribution reclosing type (radial and passive reclosing) on DG dynamics are analyzed and classified. From the results of the DG dynamic responses by the reclosing type, i.e. radial and passive reclosing, the inter-tie protection schemes of DG are introduced to improve the reliability and availability of utility interactive DG. The proposed schemes are proved and evaluated by a case study using PSCAD/EMTDC simulation.

The Effect of External DC Electric Field on the Atmospheric Corrosion Behaviour of Zinc under a Thin Electrolyte Layer

  • The effect of external DC electric field on atmospheric corrosion behavior of zinc under a thin electrolyte layer (TEL) was investigated by measuring open circuit potential (OCP), cathodic polarization curve, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Results of OCP vs. time curves indicated that the application of external DC electric field resulted in a negative shift of OCP of zinc. Results of cathodic polarization curves measurement and EIS measurement showed that the reduction current of oxygen increased while charge transfer resistance ($R_{ct}$) decreased under the external DC electric field. Variation of OCP negative shift, reduction current of oxygen, and $R_{ct}$ increase with increasing of external DC electric field strength as well as the effect of external DC electric field on double-layer structure in the electrode/electrolyte interface and ions distribution in thin electrolyte layer were analyzed. All results showed that the external DC electric field could accelerate the corrosion of zinc under a thin electrolyte layer.
