A Case Study on the Changing Aspects of Modern Fashion Trend System (현대 패션 트렌드 시스템의 변화 양상에 대한 사례연구)

  • The advancement of digital technology has made changes in the fashion system and trend development process inevitable. This article clarifies changes in the modern fashion industry system and the causes of comprehensive changes that result from the development of digital technology. The methodology of this study is based on literature and case studies based on the information magazine most used by fashion industry workers. This study classifies fashion systems into 5 types and 14 types in detail. The study results indicate the way to change the fashion style trend schedule per year, fast/ultrafast fashion system, fashion rental system, DTC system and change of fashion system by consumer participation. The causes of the changes in fashion system are indicated that an increase of trend sensitivity due to an increase in the diffusion rate of information, expansion of expression of personality through digital network, increase of possibility of grouping of small number of tastes and change of prosumer possible changes in the environment. This study provides basic data on fashion system research and the construction of an appropriate response strategy for a changing environment.

  • UCC comes into the spotlight as keyword to lead forward web business with appearance of web 2.0 that has characteristic of 'participation, opening and sharing'. Despite continuous magnification of UCC's influence by spread of prosumer that consuming public participates actively in production and development of new platform, there is no clear business model of UCC. So, inside and outside of the country industry is trying various effort to break this situation. As basis research for establishment business model of UCC, this paper wished to examine the prospects of development by analyzed present condition of UCC service. That is, it drew problems of UCC service after examine concept and type of UCC, direction technology development and profit model through analyzed foreign countries and domestic example of UCC's service. It wished to watch the development direction of UCC service from that.

  • Existing energy was a system produced by a specific company and sold to consumers, but it is expected that in the near future, producers will become consumers and consumers will become producers. Recently, the emergence of cloud systems, 5G network construction, and energy reuse, including solar energy, are changing the shape of the energy market. In order to share energy, there are various agent systems, energy networks, and structures that form markets. In this study, we defined the above three and proposed a strategy using the Secure Energy Model (SEM) by applying a blockchain for a safe and fair energy market. The analytical results showed that the trust between the energy producers and consumers participating in the energy trade was formed.

  • This paper aims to applying the architectural business model canvas to urban single houses business based on the prosumer concept of knowledge-based economy. For that purpose, current status of housing market are reviewed to compare the characteristics of urban single houses with general apatments, Second, from the viewpoints of prosumers which means the client as both producer and consumer, single house business problems were investigated. Third, for the purpose of improving current business problems, new architectural business model with the help of business model canvas is developed to give the improvement measures.

Renewable energy statecraft and asymmetric interdependence: how the solar energy industry is wielding China with geopolitical power

  • This article investigates the geopolitics of the energy transition era, concentrating on China's solar photovoltaic (PV) industry. Authors have noted that the rise of renewables is changing the geopolitical landscape of world energy systems, but these new energy sources carry their own technical characteristics and geopolitical implications. Bearing this in mind, this research answers the questions: What are the structural factors that facilitate China's use of renewable energy to achieve political goals, and what are their implications? In order to analyze the data, I devise an analytical framework based on the energy statecraft literature and contrast rival explanations, particularly the "prosumer theory" and the premise of less geopolitical interdependence in a renewable-centered world. I show that asymmetric interdependence in the solar PV sector is already a reality. China's solar PV industry is a case that suffices all conditions (centrality in industrial capacity, market share, and companies' compliance, but to a lesser extent in critical materials and technological endowments) in the solar PV sector to devise effective strategies aimed at reaping benefits out of its asymmetric interdependence with the rest of the world.

  • This study posits the activities of the fandom as information behavior: information producing, information diffusion, information sharing. The authors identify the underlying motivation and needs which lead fandom to these behavior on the basis of contents theory. In particular, the manner in which the those needs influence the information behavior of fandom is explored. The data used in this study came from various Fan Caf$\acute{e}$s which are communities of star fan. The results from the survey shows that the fandom is a kind of culture closely connected to social needs. Fandom can be viewed as an important driving force in the entertainment industry as they are co-creating the value in entertainment market.

  • The purposes of this study are to examine the concept of customized fashion product design as a new industrial paradigm reflecting individual customers' needs in modern society, and to grasp its sociocultural meaning. It is thought that this study will be helpful to investigate the cultural thinking of contemporaries represented through the consumption. For this, the documentary study and practical case study have been executed. As modern fashion business becomes more consumer-oriented due to the industrial paradigm shift, there appeared the prosumer as both consumer and producer. The type of customized fashion product design can be classified as 1) the traditional custom-made design in haute couture and classic tailoring 2) the tailor-made design in the prestige line of ready to wear 3) DIY custom design 4) mass customized design of customer involvement. The traditional custom-made design in haute couture and classic tailoring and the tailor-made design in the prestige line of ready to wear is to provide the distinguished product which has the best quality as well as the excellent beauty for VIP consumer. The DIY custom design is for creative consumer searching for the fun of craftsmanship to take part in producing personally. The mass customized design of customer involvement is to personalize product by selecting design module in mass production. Ultimately the sociocultural meaning of the customized fashion product design can be interpreted as (1)endowing special meaning to personal identity (2)distinguishing the privilege by rarefied authenticity (3)returning to analog sensibility 4)pursuing creative fun 5)thinking in a user-centered way.

  • In a circumstance that the development of mobile media through the on-line consumer desire in the era of Web 2.0 has promoted extension of personal mobile media on the part of consumers, this study examined consumer trends depending on use of e-learning contents through mobile media. In connection with tendencies through mobile prosumers' consumption patterns and use of mobile educational contents, I analyzed user demands based on characteristics of personal media centering around a communities of e-learning portals. Direction of e-learning technological development calls on mobile communication companies to open their networks and share platform following digital convergence. E-learning contents should be produced in a custom-made way for the personal media. This study is aimed at contributing for advancement of e-learning contents consumers' user convenience implicating examination into consumer demands which are necessary to invigorate e-learning contents.

  • The present study approached conceptually the various problems which occurred in the living conditions during the modernization under the rapid growth drive and their solutions. It seems that the basis of the various problems which occurred in the highly informational and aged society lies in the discord of usability in the living conditions including the tools. It can be said that the secured social equity through the usability plays and important role in enhancing the quality of life of the prosumer, especially the elderly, by providing the self-confidence and the pleasure, and helping the smooth formation of the community The purpose of the present study was to find out the role of the design, as a professional field, on the various social pathological situation and the problems of the living conditions, and, especially, the role of the Universal Design on the desirable reorganization of the living conditions(the change of the living conditions through the community activation) which put the importance on the tool condition.

  • This paper examines a blockchain network-based transaction system using location proofing in power direct transactions between networked energy clouds, energy communities, and prosumer machines participating in smart cities. It utilizes location-based blockchain network technology, which enables long-distance travel with recharging by power purchases during autonomous movements, autonomous electric vehicles that can purchase and sell electricity, and solar street lights that can be produced and sold in fixed form. In addition, it is possible to provide optimum power transaction matching and settlement reliability between machines without human intervention in power transactions between electric chargers. It also introduces a business-to-object business model between autonomous machines that exist in multiple and different spaces and through energy clouds that are expected to be scattered with various transaction prices, policies, and incentives.
