In these study novel 1,4-disubstituted carbocyclic nucleoside analogues were synthesized as potential antiviral agents. The coupling reaction of the alcohol 8${\alpha}$ with natural bases using Mitsunobu reaction afforded the target nucleosides 13, 14. The synthesized compounds were evaluated for their antiviral activity against various viruses such as HIV-1, HSV-1, HSV-2 and HCMV. Cytosine derivative 13 exhibited moderate antiviral activity against HIV-1 (EC$_{50}$=16.4 ${\mu}$M).

Construction of Yamanashi Maglev Test Line in Japan was proceeded based on "superconducting maglev Yamanshi Testline plan" approved by Ministry of Transport Government of Japan in 1990, which was performed by Yamanashi Maglev Test Line construction project team organized by personnel of Japan Railway Construction Public Corporation, RTRI and Central Japan Railway Company, and overall adjustment test was performed. Yamanashi Maglev experimental project team was organized, sponsored by RTRI and Central Japan Railway Company from April in 1997. Running test for the application was performed by this project team. Technical availability was proved by "superconducting maglev committee" of Ministry of Transport Government in March, 2000. In this paper, train radio system by LCX and by millimeter wave will be reviewed.

An adaptive fuzzy logic controller to regulate molten steel level in the strip casting process is presented, where parameters of fuzzy controllers are adapted stably by using Lyapunov-stability theory and a switching controller is used together to deal with the approximation error of fuzzy logic system. The level error is proven to converge to zero asymptotically. In the simulation, the clogging/unclogging of a stopper nozzle is considered and overcome by the proposed controller. Robustness to uncertainty is shown to be superior to conventional PI controller.

An 18-month-old, Scottish Fold with severe lameness and pain in the fore- and hind-limbs was diagnosed as Scottish Fold osteochondrodysplasia based on radiography showing mis-shapened phalanges, bone formation around the tarsal and metatarsal joints, joint space narrowing, and ankylosis. Although computed tomography (CT) is not considered a primary method for examining Scottish Fold osteochondrodysplasia, CT was undertaken in this case to investigate the cause of pain and reluctant ambulation in the forelimbs. CT showed immaturely ossified bone proliferation in the carpal bones. CT-based multiplanar reconstruction can reveal the anatomic relationship between the bone lesion and the joint in various directions.

A 4-year-old cat was referred for a suspected pulmonary mass. True diaphragmatic hernia presence was diagnosed via computed tomography (CT). There was a thin membrane covering the diaphragmatic defect. The membrane was thinner than the diaphragm. After contrast injection, the membrane was less enhanced than that of the normal diaphragm. The membrane was identified as a remnant of the parietal pleura. In addition, contrast-enhanced CT images provided clarity in viewing the herniated liver and falciform fat. A thinner membrane, covering the diaphragmatic defect, and attached to the thicker normal diaphragm, is considered a unique CT feature of true diaphragmatic hernia.

765kV substations which will be the core installation of the bulk power transmission system in Korea for the upcoming $21^{st}$ century, were designed of outdoor full GIS type to minimize required area. As principal equipment, main transformers of 2,000 MVA per bank and 50kA 8,000A gas insulated switchgears of up-to-date technology were adopted in designing substations to transmit bulk power of 10GW. Dual digital protective relay systems and distributed indication and control systems with fiber optic LAN were used.

최근 애자일 개발프로세스가 생산성 증대효과, 품질향상, 고객만족 등의 효용성이 입증되면서 프로젝트 추진 시 방법론 선택에 있어 전문가들에게 많은 관심을 갖게 되었다. 시대적 요구와 사용자 요구에 부응하기 위한 방법론 선정과 관련해서, 본 논문에서는 제품 기반의 Cross functional team의 문제점을 해결하고자 제안된 방법론이 Feature Team 모델이며, 이 모델이 Cross functional team을 조직하고, 이 팀이 결과물(프로덕트) 단위가 아니라, 기능단위로 여러 프로덕트에 걸쳐서 개발을 진행하는 모델이라는 점에 대해 조사하였으며, 가치-주도형 애자일 기법을 통해 계획-기반형 모델과 차이점을 제시하였다. Agile 성숙도 측정기준을 검토하였으며, PRINCE2 Agile Health-check 항목 연구를 통해 Agile 기법이 프로젝트 착수단계의 요구사항은 확정 본이 아닌 언제라도 변경될 수 있다는 것을 전제를 해서 객관적인 평가를 받는 방법에 대해 연구하고 프로젝트 팀 구성에 대해 향후 발전방향을 제시하였다.

데이터베이스 설계 교과목에서 팀 프로젝트는 학생들의 데이터베이스 설계 역량을 계발하기 위해 매우 중요한 과정이며, 팀 프로젝트를 원활히 수행하기 위해서는 팀원들 간의 협업과 팀워크 못지 않게 학생-교수 간의 활발한 상호작용이 매우 중요하다. 하지만 2020학년도 1학기에 갑자기 전면 비대면 수업을 하게 되면서, 데이터베이스를 구축하는 팀 프로젝트가 큰 비중을 차지하는 이 수업을 효과적으로 운영할 수 있을 지 의문이었다. 하지만 줌과 같은 실시간 화상 매체를 이용한 상호작용과 온라인 교육지원시스템(LMS)에서 지원하는 토론, 퀴즈, 질의응답 등의 기능을 적극적으로 활용하고, 온라인 발표와 상호 평가 등을 통해서 팀 프로젝트를 원활히 진행할 수 있었다. 본 논문에서는 비대면으로 공학 팀 프로젝트를 운영한 경험을 공유하고, 세 차례 실시한 설문을 기초로 이 수업의 개선 방향과 비대면 수업을 전반적으로 개선할 수 있는 여러 가지 방안을 제안하였다.

Compared to research on the success of IT projects in general, research on the management of conflict in IT teams and its impact on project success is insufficient. This research performed a comparative study to analyze the nature and evolving phenomenon of conflicts in IT project teams. This study aimed at; First, Why a conflict is created within and around an IT project team. Second, What is the phenomenon of conflict evolution, diffusion, and/or resolution? Third, How the differences in conflict management style affects the IT project performance? Three propositions were drawn from the analysis of two intensive analysis of conflict cases and their comparison. Proposition 1 : Both 'the method of pointing out a problem' and 'the pointed-out contents' can be the trigger of conflicts around an IT project. Proposition 2 : While the focus of attention of one party is 'the method of pointing out a problem', if the other's and focus of attention of one party is 'the pointed-out contents', that is, if the focus of attention mismatch, the conflict can be amplified. Proposition 3 : According to the temporal nature of the relationship, e.g., short-term versus long-term, the way people approach and deal with the conflict differs.

Korea officially joined the ALMA (Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array) project on August 17, 2014. Korea was allowed to apply for the Cycle 2 call-for-proposal before joining the project. Korea submitted 17 proposals, and 4 of them were selected as high-priority. The fund of an 11-year Korean ALMA project in the KASI (Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute) was approved. The project team formulated an ARC (ALMA Regional Center) node at the KASI and already started its supporting activities for the Korean Astronomical Society. The team also set up a future development plan for ASTE (Atacama Submillimeter Telescope Experiment) and ALMA. A couple of engineers are now doing concept design of a multi-beam receiver system for the ASTE, Because of the ALMA participation, Korea could also access open-use time of ASTE and Mopra telescopes organized by Japan. As of this writing, EACOA (East Asia Core Observatories Association) is now under discussion on making an organization called "East Asian Observatory" and the possible operation of JCMT (James Clerk Maxwell Telescope). I will briefly mention the future prospect of these activities.
