본 논문은 자활사업을 주요사례로 정부의 사회복지사업에 민간파트너로 참여하고 있는 사회운동조직이 어떻게 전문 사회복지기관과의 역학관계 속에서 자신의 자발적 정체성을 방어해나가는지 살펴보고자 한다. 군부독재가 막을 내리고 민주화와 진전되면서 과거 정부와 대립하던 사회운동단체들이 복지정책의 주요파트너로 부상했다. 저소득층의 일자리 지원사업인 자활사업도 빈민 실업운동진영과의 협력으로 도입된 복지제도이다. 그러나 사회운동에 대한 기존연구들은 사회운동조직이 제도화되면서 자발성이 훼손되고 사회복지 전문가와 기관들에게 헤게모니를 내놓게 된다고 지적해왔다. 이에 본 연구는 자활사업 관련 역사문헌, 심층면접, 참여관찰 자료에 대한 역사적 담론 분석을 통해, 자활사업의 도입시기부터 현재까지 사회운동조직의 자활사업 내 입지변화와 운동조직이 일선현장에서 사회복지진영으로부터 자신을 구별하기 위해 각 국면마다 구사해온 담론과 전략들이 있는지 추적했다. 본 논문은 사회운동과 사회복지의 갈등의 역사 속에서 사회운동진영의 생존전략들을 살펴봄으로써, 사회운동의 사회복지제도화와 전문화를 단지 사회운동의 지배체계로의 편입, 흡수, 종속으로 설명할 수 없고, 그 이면에 사회운동조직의 미시저항이 존재함을 드러내고자 했다.

The purposed of this study was to reconceptualize home economics by focusing the concept of 'Family life welfare' which pursue the improvement of family life through making the home resourceful and developing the community. The reconceptualization of home economics as family life welfare could solve the problem identification and professionalization which home economics lack of. It also would contribute to the extension of an arena and activation of the Discussion no the family life by criticizing several approaches based on functionalism Finally the utilization of home economics major in public affair means the advancement of women's social participation.

급격한 사회 및 정보환경 변화 속에서 국민들의 점점 높아지는 도서관의 새로운 기능과 역할에 대한 요구를 수용하기 위해서는 도서관 핵심인력인 사서의 전문성 강화가 절실히 필요하다. 본 연구는 학점 이수로만 취득되는 현행 사서자격시험제도 도입의 필요성을 관종별 사서의 도서관 취업 및 자격증 발급 현황에서 나타난 문제점과 사서자격개선에 대한 의견분석을 기반으로 도출한 후 국내 사서자격제도 개선 방안으로 사서자격시험 제도 도입을 제안하였다. 이를 위해 국내에 잘 알려져 있지는 않지만 상당히 체계적으로 실시되고 있는 필리핀의 사서자격시험제도 운영사례를 살펴보고 향후 국내에 사서 자격시험 제도 도입 시 고려해야 할 내용과 추진 방향을 제시하였다.

본 연구는 임상 물리치료사들의 업무 환경 및 전문성 제도화에 대한 태도가 직업 만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아 보고자 실시하였다. 이 연구는 설문지를 이용한 횡단적 연구로서 병원에서 근무하고 있는 물리치료사 356명을 대상으로 하였다. 결과에서는 20대, 여성, 임상 경력이 낮은 물리치료사, 병원급에서 근무하는 물리치료사가 직업 만족도가 낮았다. 대부분의 물리치료사들의 전문성을 위한 제도가 필요하다고 하였고 직업 만족도가 낮을수록 전문 제도 도입의 필요성에 대한 태도가 높았다. 직업 만족도에 영향을 미치는 변인은 학력과 연봉이었다. 따라서, 물리치료사들의 직업 만족도를 향상시키기 위하여서 연봉의 개선과 전문성을 위한 학습이 직업 만족도 향상에 중요한 역할을 하고 있었다. 전문성을 갖추기 위한 제도 도입을 통한 자기 계발과 업무의 전문화는 물리치료사의 직업 만족도를 향상시키기 위하여 중요한 것으로 보인다.

Objectives: This study presents the basic data necessary to explore the methods used of Korean dental hygienists to resolve oral health inequalities in Korea via reviewing the professionalization trend of American dental hygienists. Methods: The supervision levels of American dental hygienists, and system of dental therapists were analyzed using the data published by the relevant associations. Results: In America, dental hygienists help address oral health inequalities. However, due to limitations in the supervision levels and scope of practice of dental hygienists, the autonomy of dental hygienists was expanded, and mid-level practitioner were employed. The autonomy for dental hygiene practice was higher in public than in private in America. Some states have introduced dental therapists as mid-level practitioners. Their practice settings have limitations such as serving low-income, uninsured, and underserved patients or serving in a dental health professional shortage area. Conclusions: It is necessary to expand the autonomy of dental hygienists based on their profession. In particular, it is suggested that they start with the low-risk level practices. Further, it is necessary to introduce a dental hygiene specialist system specialized for fields with high social demands.

For the past three years, the importance of automatic research has been increased. It was proved in previous research that the number of conducted research using 'Database' technique was the largest, but the amount of increase was the largest in research on 'BIM'. In consequence, it is predicted the research on 'BIM' will become a center of automation in construction. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to examine trends though classifying into each construction phase and developed extent of techniques related to professionalization and integration with other techniques within a range of 'Automation in Construction Journal' which has the biggest level of awareness in construction field.

Nursing, a profession, continues its efforts founard professionalization. Attention to efficiency and effectiveness of its organizational system must be balances with that of maintaining quality of care. The wise use of personnel is of particular concern. The structure of nursing's administrative organization is very important, because most nursing services are delivered through an organization. Professional bureaucracy is recommended for the structure and managerial strategy of nursing's administrative organization, Specifically, considerable decision -making in their work should be transferred to the staff nurses who provicle professional nursing services in direct interaction with the public. The co -ordinative parameters of the system should be based on professional nursing knowledge. The premise required by this commitment would be built on the identification of nursing knowledge and intellectual and behavioral standard of nursing practice.

이 연구는 미국 치과위생사의 역사를 역할변화의 관점에서 고찰한 것으로, '전문 조직', '교육 제도', '면허 제도', '역할과 업무범위', '의무와 윤리' 등 5개의 범주에 따라 미국치과위생사가 전문직이 되기 위해 어떤 과정을 거쳤는지 고찰하였다. 미국치과위생사는 그들의 사회적 조직화를 위해 미국치과위생사협회를 결성하였으며, 교육 연한은 2년 과정에서 석사 과정까지 증대되었다. 치과위생사 면허는 1952년에 미국 전 주에서 발급되었으며, 현재는 전문치과위생사자격증 등이 제안되고 있다. 업무범위는 구강보건교육과 치면세마를 시작으로 예방치과처치, 치주처치, 일부 수복치료, 마취 등까지 확대되었다. 이 연구는 전 세계 중 최초로 치과위생사 양성제도가 결성된 미국의 치과위생사가 전문직 역할을 수립해나가는 과정을 분석함으로써 각 국의 치과위생사 제도와 비교할 수 있는 기초자료를 제시한 데 의의가 있다고 사료된다.

The professional alliance between disciplines of architecture and furniture design in the interwar years as displayed in the prominent architectural exhibitions of the era is interesting in the context of professionalization of American architecture. The way furniture design gradually became part of the architectural shows not only reflected but provided the practical field in which the architectural institution sought, under the new social order since the mid 1910s, a new professional cast-departing from the former milieu in the realm of high-art by the Beaux-Arts Movement. Exhibitions held by the Architectural League of New York in the 1920s revealed that the early impetus for reformation toward efficiency had been subsumed by the system of Beaux-Arts. By contrast, "The Architect and the Industrial Arts" show of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, in which the most prominent architects of the era exercised their professional expertise in the design of "Moderne Style" interior furnishings, clearly shows how architects, in the milieu of expanding commercial market, sought to align their profession as industrial designers.

The dynamic nature of the A/E/C industry, rapidly changing global market environments, and lowest cost competitive bidding make it difficult to survive in global design markets. To understand the global design markets, a case study has been undertaken. The top 150 global design firms represented in the ENR (Engineering News Record) from 1995 to 2003 are classified into three groups for the case study. First group is the firms which advanced in rank from 1995. Second group is the firms which maintained its rank from 1994 until 2003. Third group is the firms which went down in rank from 1995 until 2003. However, finding key factors and changing business strategies of successful top design firms are the fundamental goals in this paper. After examinations of case studies, this paper concludes and suggests that professionalization, M&A strategies, patrons of the government, and academic support are needed to be successful in the global design & engineering industry.
