의류브랜드 소비자의 고객관계관리 경험에 관한 탐색적 연구 - 남성복, 여성복, 캐주얼, 스포츠의류 소비자의 비교를 중심으로 - (A Qualitative Research about the CRM Experiences of Apparel Brand Customers)

  • The purpose of this study were 1) to analyze customer relationship management(CRM) based on the online customer experiences by product types (i.e., men's, women's, casual, sports wear), 2) to analyze CRM based on the off-line customer experiences by product type, and 3) to examine customer purchase behavior of fashion products and internet usage behavior by product types. Survey and 1:1 interview were conducted from January 13th to May 16th, 2005. Six consumers from each brand (i.e., 3 loyal customers and 3 general customers) in a total of 24 customers were selected from each product type. For the data analysis, content analysis and descriptive statistics (i.e. frequency) were used. Among the key study findings first, as a result of the on-line CRM experience, the customers of men's wear preferred receiving customized information through e-mail or SMS service. The customers of sports wear preferred receiving a different level of information and participating in customized product service. Second, as a result of the off-line CRM experience, the customers of men's wear need to be encouraged to join a membership at a sales encounter and the customers of women's wear preferred receiving quick information of new products and participating in a design development planning of the merchandising process. Third, the purchasing behavior of the customers of women's wear are influenced mostly by the salesperson and the store atmosphere when they purchase clothes and the customers of men's wear are price-sensitive. The results of this study can be used when fashion brands perform strategic planning and decision making on CRM.

그린 패션 마케팅 현황에 관한 연구 (A Study on the State of Affairs of Green Fashion Marketing)

  • Green Marketing, a response to the serious environment problems of the 21st century, is an important point for trends in both art and fashion. It is a strategy for reminding consumers of the threatening environment problems and to recognize that everyone must take responsibility for these problems. Green marketing is a concept that is the point at issue and social reform movement. The purpose of this study was to find examples of Green Marketing in fashion and classify them into four groups. The results of this study were as follows. First, the terms related to green marketing as related to fashion can be categorized into four areas: 1. Eco-friendly product marketing: product merchandising that usually uses organic materials and green manufacturing processes. 2. Green-communication marketing: PR strategies that use green slogans through deep impression advertising or special promotional events relating reducing, reusing and recycling, etc., with the brand's name. 3. Green environmental-marketing: marketing strategies that is an enlightenment campaign for environmental preservation and sustainable fashion design such as reusing, recycling, and reducing. 4. Cause-related marketing: marketing plans that return profits to society and that take an active part in the causes of the community. It was expected that these types of green marketing strategies would yield positive effects in enhancing brand value and consumer confidence as well as increasing profits.

국민소득 2만달러 달성의 성장엔진으로서 기상정보의 역할 (The Role of Weather and Climate Information as a Growth Engine for Passing the Gross Domestic Product per Head of $20,000)

  • High quality meteorological information is the typical product of service business industry which can offer the investment initiative by reducing the uncertainty and by activating other related industries. It requires a high level of meteorological technology and of ability to transform such technology as merchandising products. According to the analysis of the WMO data, the level of Korean meteorological technology is comparable to that of the nation with $17,500, GDP per head. However, the income of the meteorological business agent earns in Korea is 8 billion 4 hundred million won which is less than a tenth of that made by the US or Japan. The potential for such business field in Korea will be strong enough, if one can overcome such weak points. In addition, the efforts made by the government to advance the meteorological technology have been actualized gradually. Korean government will have a chance that is comparable to offering jobs for 20,000 unemployed by creating incomes of 40 billion won by meteorological technology as a sustained economic growth engine. It is proposed that government stimulate demand and supply by focusing on sales quantity than the price. The key points for creating the new demand are marketing and outsourcing of weather and climate information by maintaining the cooperative relationship between private and public sector.

패션기업의 SNS (Social Network Service) 활용 현황에 대한 사례연구 - Twitter를 중심으로 - (Case Study of SNS (Social Networks Service) Application on Fashion Corporate - Focused on Twitter -)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine how recently fashion corporate did use SNS applications for their product promotion strategies as case studies, and to provide what kinds of SNS marketing strategies would be developed for fashion corporate. Specifically, this study was focused on Twitter among SNS applications. For this study, Internet webs, news paper, articles, and other press work were used for resources. Five fashion corporate such as Buckaroo, MLB, North Faces, Kolon, and ABC Mart were analyzed. As the results, first, fashion corporate used Twitter as the marketing tool for their product promotion. Second, they tried to make an increase the numbers of Twitter follower from their customers. Third, Twitter was used for making higher customer loyalty by fashion corporate through a variety of program such as special events, game, music, or viral marketing. However, there were still some limitations on fashion corporate's Twitter usage, compared to other non-fashion corporate. Thus, fashion corporate needs to provide more creative and unique Twitter marketing strategies. Therefore, based on these results, fashion brand merchandising marketing strategies of fashion products would be provided from this study.

백제의 전통문화를 활용한 문화상품의 이미지와 선호도 분석 - 10대 청소년을 중심으로 - (The Analysis of Images and Preference on Cultural Products based on Baekje Traditional Culture - Focused on Adolescents -)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the adolescents' images and preference on cultural products based on Baekje traditional culture focused on adolescents. The subjects were 421 adolescents in Daejeon and Chungnam province. The measuring instruments was stimuli of cultural products and a questionnaire with semantic differential scales of image of cultural products, preference, product evaluation criteria, and subjects' demographics characteristics. The data were analyzed by Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test, and regression analysis using SPSS program. The results were as follows. First, 3 factors(attractiveness, interest, gentleness) were emerged on images of cultural products based on Baekje tradition culture, however, the current products could not convey affectively the attractive and gentle image of baekje traditional culture. Second, the preference of the Baekje cultural products was evaluated low, and especially design and price was rated low in the evaluation criteria. Third, preference was related with the 3 image factors, and attractiveness factor was showed highly positive effects on preference of cultural products. The implication of this study was to provide the useful cultural product development plan for adolescents, and the research results suggested that modern and individual design, unique traditional pattern, resonable price, and practicality have to be considered to develop successful cultural products for adolescents.

동대문 패션시장의 생산시스템을 활용한 글로벌 마케팅 전략에 관한 탐색적 연구 (Exploratory Study on Global Marketing Strategy for the Dongdaemun Fashion District)

  • Dongdaemun Fashion District has been successfully positioned as the main hub for fashion product distribution in Korea since 1960 thanks to its unique and successful fashion merchandising system. This system enables the distributors to respond quickly to consumer need and inexpensive price. However, at the present time, Dongdaemun Fashion District has been facing serious challenges from new types of retail stores such as fast fashion brands like ZARA and online shopping malls. To achieve this result, statistical analysis was performed using data from 68 employees of wholesalers in the Dongdaemun Fashion District. They were required to answer questions regarding the marketing system supporting program, amenities like restrooms, and traffic congestion. For the case study, C.I.S, a successful global wholesale system in Italy, was selected. C.I.S has 130 offices offering professional services in the field of trade, legal and tax issues, and insurance. This study suggests cooperation among related wholesalers in order to make an area management plan in the Dongdaemun Fashion District. Also, for the wholesalers to build up product information system and infrastructure for the Global marketing strategy.

스페셜 오더 상품과 모바일 SNS 홍보 전략이 브랜드 럭셔리 및 브랜드 관계에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Special Order Products and Mobile SNS Promotions on Perceived Brand Luxury and Brand Relationship)

  • With the increasing popularization of low-priced luxury markets, maintaining the genuine values of luxury has become crucial for luxury fashion brands to attract customers who want exclusivity and rarity. The world-leading luxury fashion houses have employed a variety of experiential marketing strategies like special order product strategies and mobile SNS promotion strategies, yet little research exists on there the strategies actually positively impact brand luxury images and customer attitudes towards the brand. This study empirically analyzed the effects of customer experience of special order products on perceived brand luxury and brand relationship. Furthermore, the study also tested relationships among perceived brand luxury, brand relationship, and brand loyalty. A survey was conducted with Korean female consumers who had purchase experiences of special order products from the brands. We analyzed the data of MTO-experienced respondents due to the lack of respondents who had experienced custom-made product services. The result indicates the significant effect of experience of MTO on brand relationship; however, we found only a partial support for the effect of MTO on brand luxury. Likewise, we found a partial support for the effect of mobile SNS promotion strategies on perceived brand luxury versus full support for the effect on brand relationship.

SPA 브랜드의 소비자 구매 행동 및 점포 속성 중요도 분석 - 서울, 경기지역 여대생을 중심으로 - (An Analysis of Consumer's Buying Behaviors and the Importance of Store Attributes in SPA Brand - Focused on Female College Student in Seoul Metropolitan Area and Gyeongi-Do Area -)

  • The purpose of this study was to propose the strategy for increasing the merchandising power of the SPA brand to improve the competitiveness of domestic fashion industry. A questionnaire survey was administered to 270 SPA brand customer who live in Seoul Metropolitan area and Gyeongi-do area. 240 data were analyzed by factor analysis, t-test, crosstabs analysis, and one-way ANOVA using SPSSWIN 12.0 program. The result were as follows: Importance of store attributes were categorized in five factors: store environment, service, product sales promotion, and convenience. A consumer's the importance of store attributes was significantly different depending on that consumer's demographic characteristics(major, grade etc..) and general product purchasing characteristics(purchasing expense). This result should not be interpreted by expanding to the whole group of the consumer in SPA brand, as the sample used in this study is limited to those in Seoul and GyeongGi area.

공유경제 시대, 유아 및 아동기 어린이의 효율적 의복활용을 위한 의복쉐어링 (Clothing Sharing for Efficiency Use of the Children's Clothing in a Sharing Economy)

  • This study focuses on how clothing can increase in the age of the shared economy and as an alternative to the capitalist economy of the 21st century. This study investigates how infants and children use clothes as they undergo many changes based on physical growth, identifies use and disposal methods for surplus clothing from the perspective of a shared economy and explores plans to foster an environment for the healthy use of clothes. The objectives of this study are as follows. First, identify the need for new clothes based on physical changes in the human body; second, propose an alternative to permanent disposal by making used clothes appropriate for temporary disposal (renting and leasing). In sharing services, the condition and quality of the product were found to be the most important factors. The condition and quality of the product (70.0%) were the most important factors in sharing services. The sharing services for clothes and goods of infants and children could become popular quickly if there was a reliability guarantee offered by such sharing services. In addition, providing trial services and aggressive publicity for sharing services is urgent for the expansion of opportunities for general consumers.

  • 계란의 판매전략에는 $\ulcorner$제품개발$\lrcorner$$\ulcorner$판로개척$\lrcorner$ 의 두 가지 길이 있으며 이러한 전략적 대응이 필연적으로 성공하고 있다고는 할 수 없다. 판매 노력에 관한 평가는 앞으로 경영진단의 과제가 될 것이며 어느 것을 선택하느냐에 따라서 경영별 유리성은 격차가 더욱더 커질 것이다. 최근 시장개방화와 만성적인 생산과잉에 의한 수익성의 악화로 농가부채 증가 등 채란 양계 경영에 많은 어려움을 겪고 있는 실정이다. 한편 이러한 가운데서도 저 난가의 대응책으로 고부가가치, 상품차별화에 의한 신제품 개발, 판로개척 등 수익성 확보로 맞서고 있는 경영을 볼 수 있다. 앞에서 말한바와 같이 경영구조를 비교 분석한 것을 종합해보면 저 난가 구조하에서 살아남을 수 있는 길은 생산비절감도 중요한 비중을 차지하겠지만 무엇보다도 가격에 대하여 어떻게 대응할 것인가라는 전제하에 도매보다는 소매의 비율을 높인다든지 제품개발(상품차별화)을 통한 고 부가가치의 방향으로 나아가야 할 것이다.
