  • This paper describes a wire and wireless network sensor for temperature and humidity measurements. The network sensor comprises PLC(Power Line Communication) and RF transmitter(433MHz) for acquiring an internal (on-board) sensor signal, and measured data is transmitted to a main processing unit. The network sensor module is consist of MEMS sensor, 10-bit A/D converter, pre-amp., gain-amp., ADUC812 one chip processor and PLC/RF transmitting unit. The temperature and humidity sensor is based on MEMS piezoelectric membrane structure and is implemented by using dual function sensor for smart home and smart building.

  • In this paper, we developed an integrated miniaturized device which acquires and transmits the signal of ECG an interested heartbeat and body's temperature and humidity. Using an amplifier circuit on the electrodes and the radio frequency transmission, the developed system dispenses with the use of cables among the electrodes, amplifier, and the post processing system. The sensor signals are transmitted to the RF-wireless terminal that was developed using the micro controller Aduc812, LCD, RF-module (frequency 424MHz, 9600-bps). In results, the developed system improves not only the signal-to-noise ration in dynamic ECG & and body's temperature and humidity measurement, but also the user convenience.

빗살전극형 정전용량형 습도센서와 그 신호처리회로의 설계 제작 (The Design and fabrication of Capacitive Humidity Sensor Having Interdigital Electrodes and Its Signal Processing Circuit)

  • For the purpose of developing capacitive humidity sensor having interdigital electrodes, interdigital electrode was modeled and simulated to obtain capacitance and sensitivity as a function of geometric parameters like the structural gap and thickness. For the development of ASIC, switched capacitor signal processing circuits for capacitive humidity sensor were designed and simulated by Cadence using $0.25{\mu}m$ CMOS process parameters. The signal processing circuits are composed of amplifier for voltage gain control, and clock generator for sensor driving and switch control. The characteristics of the fabricated sensors are; 1) sensitivity is 9fF/%R.H., 2) temperature coefficient of offset(TCO) is $0.4%R.H./^{\circ}C$, 3) nonlinearity is 1.2%FS, 4) hysteresis is 1.5%FS in humidity range of $3%R.H.{\sim}98%R.H.$. The response time is 50 seconds in adsorption and 70 seconds in desorption. Fabricated process used in this capacitive humidity sensor having interdigital electrode are just as similar as conventional IC process technology. Therefore this can be easily mass produced with low cost, simple circuit and utilized in many applications for both industrial and environmental measurement and control system, such as monitoring system of environment, automobile, displayer, IC process room, and laboratory etc.

GIS-based Meteorological Data Processing Technology for Forest Fire Danger Rating Forecast System of China

  • The data of average temperature, average relative humidity, precipitation and average wind speed were collected from 674 meteorological stations in China. A specific procedure that processes original data into a new data format needed in forest fire danger rating forecast system of China was introduced systematically, and the feasibility of this method was validated in this paper. In addition, a set of meteorological data processing software was constructed by the secondary development of GIS in order to realize automation of processing data for the system. Results showed that the approach preformed well in handling temperature, average relative humidity and average wind speed, and the processing effect of precipitation was acceptable. Moreover, the automated procedure could be achieved by GIS and the working efficiency was about 3 times as much as that of manual handling. The informationization level of processing meteorological data was greatly enhanced.

  • This paper presents the applications of Kriging spatial interpolation methods for meteorologic variables, including temperature and relative humidity, in regions of Vietnam. Three types of interpolation methods are used, which are as follows: Ordinary Kriging, Universal Kriging, and Universal Kriging plus Digital Elevation model correction. The input meteorologic data was collected from 98 ground weather stations throughout Vietnam and the outputs were interpolated temperature and relative humidity gridded fields, along with their error maps. The experimental results showed that Universal Kriging plus the digital elevation model correction method outperformed the two other methods when applied to temperature. The interpolation effectiveness of Ordinary Kriging and Universal Kriging were almost the same when applied to both temperature and relative humidity.

공정온도와 상대습도가 소시지 쿠킹시간에 미치는 영향 및 쿠킹시간 예측모델 (Effects of Processing Temperature and Relative Humidities on the Sausage Cooking Time and Prediction Models of Cooking Time)

  • 소시지의 세조공정 중의 주 공정인 쿠킹공정에서 가장 영향을 많이 미치는 인자는 쿠킹온도와 상대습도이다. 따라서 쿠킹공정에서 에너지의 효율성을 높이기 위해 상기 인자와 소시지 직경의 변화에 따른 쿠킹시간을 측정하여 쿠킹시간 예측모델식을 수립하였다. 또한 쿠킹 전후의 일반성분 분석과 중량변화 및 각 온도와 상대습도에서의 TPA 분석을 하였다. 쿠킹시간 예측모델식을 SPSS computer program을 이용하여 가장 오차가 적은 범위에서의 예측모델식을 얻었다. 쿠킹시간 예측모델식을 쿠킹온도와 상대습도와 소시지 직경에 대한 각각의 함수관계를 Scattergram을 작성하여 R-square값을 가장 높은 함수를 취하여 각각의 모델식을 수립한 후 독립변수와의 관계를 종합하여 예측값을 구할 수 있는 최종적인 예측모델식을 수립하였다. 또한 소시지 직경 1.5cm에 대한 쿠킹 동안 중량변화는 온도와 상대습도가 적게 소모되어 소시지의 중량변화가 적게 일어남을 알 수 있었다. 물성치를 측정해 본 결과 온도와 상대습도의 변화에 따른 경도와 응집력의 값은 크게 변화가 일어났으나 반면에 탄성과 저작성의 값은 그 변화가 다소 적게 일어남을 알 수 있었다.

A Real-Time Surveillance System for Vaccine Cold Chain Based o n Internet of Things Technology

  • In this study, a real-time surveillance system using Internet of Things technology is proposed for vaccine cold chains. This system fully visualizes vaccine transport and storage. It comprises a 4G gateway module, lowpower and low-cost wireless temperature and humidity collection module (WTHCM), cloud service software platform, and phone app. The WTHCM is installed in freezers or truck-mounted cold chain cabinets to collect the temperature and humidity information of the vaccine storage environment. It then transmits the collected data to a gateway module in the radiofrequency_physical layer (RF_PHY). The RF_PHY is an interface for calling the bottom 2.4-GHz transceiver, which can realize a more flexible communication mode. The gateway module can simultaneously receive data from multiple acquisition terminals, process the received data depending on the protocol, and transmit the collated data to the cloud server platform via 4G or Wi-Fi. The cloud server platform primarily provides data storage, chart views, short-message warnings, and other functions. The phone app is designed to help users view and print temperature and humidity data concerning the transportation and storage of vaccines anytime and anywhere. Thus, this system provides a new vaccine management model for ensuring the safety and reliability of vaccines to a greater extent.

블루투스를 이용한 신생아 인공 보육기의 중앙감시 장치 (A Centralized Monitoring System for Infant Incubators Using Bluetooth)

  • 본 논문에서는 블루투스를 이용하여 신생아를 중앙 감시하는 장치를 제안하고 구현하였다. 기존의 신생아 중앙 감시 장치는 부피가 크기 때문에 신생아에 대한 부착이 불편하고 유선으로 연결되어 측정 및 감시 시에 휴대가 어려워서 공간의 제약을 가지는 단점이 있다. 이러한 단점을 해소하기 위해서 블루투스를 이용한 신생아 보육장치를 제안하였다. 제안된 시스템은 수신부와 송신부로 구성된다. 송신부는 온도센서, 습도 센서, ECG 측정 장치 및 블루투스 모듈로 구성되며 인류베이터의 온도, 습도 및 ECG 데이터를 측정한 후 블루투스를 이용하여 송신하는 기능을 수행한다. 수신 시스템은 송신 시스템에서 전송한 신호를 블루투스 수신 모듈을 통해 수신하여 인큐베이터 별 송신 시스템의 고유한 식별부호와 심전도 및 온습도 신호를 분리하여 각 신호들을 화면에 표시함으로써 중앙 감시가 효과적으로 이루어지도록 한다. 또한 수신부의 시스템 관리자는 신생아 보육장치와 신생아의 상태를 중앙 감시할 수 있도록 하는 기능을 한다. 제안된 시스템은 다양한 환경에서 신생아 보육장치의 원격 진단에 유용하게 쓰일 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

시아노아크릴레이트 진공 훈증법에 의한 잠재지문 현출 최적화에 관한 연구 (A study on the optimal conditions for latent fingerprint development using cyanoacrylate fuming method in vacuum chamber)

  • 시아노아크릴레이트 훈증법은 비다공성 표면에 유류된 잠재지문을 현출할 때 효과적이다. 본 연구는, 진공챔버에서 시아노아크릴레이트를 훈증할 때 온도, 습도, 훈증 방법 등이 잠재지문 현출에 미치는 영향을 확인한 후 최적 반응 조건을 찾는데 있다. 진공챔버의 온도가 높을수록 시아노아크릴레이트 증발량은 증가했지만, 지문 융선에서 시아노아크릴레이트의 중합반응은 $30^{\circ}C$에서 가장 잘 일어났다. 상대습도가 40%, 50% 조건에서는 좋은 상태의 지문이 현출되었지만, 30%보다 낮거나 60%보다 높은 조건에서는 지문 융선에서 시아노아크릴레이트 중합반응 속도가 느려졌다. 진공챔버에서 시아노아크릴레이트를 자연적으로 증발시키는 방법보다는 $OMEGA-PRINT^{TM}$ dispersal pads와 수산화나트륨을 포함한 솜을 이용해 시아노아크릴레이트 훈증하는 방법이 효과적이란 사실을 확인할 수 있었다. 진공챔버에서 시아노아크릴레이트 처리시간은 상대습도에 비해 큰 영향을 주지 않았다.

레토르트 파우치 고추장의 적정 고온 살균조건에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Optimal Sterilization Conditions of Red Pepper Paste Packed in Retort Pouch.)

  • Heating characteristics of red pepper paste packed in report pouches of various thicknesses and their storage stability were investigated to determine the adequate processing conditions that good bacteriological safty and minimal quality changes could be obtained, when sterilized by using a steam-air system retort. A heat penetration into pouch-packed red pepper paste was carried out through by a conductive heat transfer, indicating a simple logarithmic heating curve, and the smaller thickness revealed the higher heat penetration rate, suggesting the possibility of high temperature-short time sterilization of red pepper paste. The processing conditions with Fo-value of 4.5 or higher were sufficient for keeping up bacterial safty, but based on C-value, better quality retention was obtained at pouch thickness of 15mm under the processing temperature of $120^{\circ}C$. Subsequent storage study revealed that the red pepper paste packed in 15mm and processed at $120^{\circ}C$ with Fo=4.5 could be held without any spoilage and overall acceptance change, when stored for 6 months at room temperature under the relative humidity of 70%. After 3 months storage in $38^{\circ}C$ under saturation humidity, overall acceptance of red pepper paste were judged not to be maintainable on the acceptable level, but it may be suggested that above the results could be kept up a desirable quality without any remarkable deterioration.
