The purpose of this study is to perform historical reconstruction of the court dress coat in the Daehan Empire in order to make replicas of the artifacts. Following steps were undertaken in the study : literature research of the laws of the era, drawing of the design, embroidering gold work, and tailoring of the coat. Embroidering and tailoring experts were consulted to complete an accurate reconstruction of the dress court. The results of this study are as follows. First, Juimgwan's coat, which was the Court Costume Rule in 1905 was selected as an experimental coat. It was revision of the Court Costume Rule in 1900. The process of selection was based on the amount and easiness of embroidery. Second, the design of the back bodice, chevron, pockets and collar is reflected the pattern of the preceding research, which was analyzed from the laws, the drawing document[Gwanbokjandoan], and artifacts. Third, the gold work embroidery in the back bodice, chevron, pockets and collar was done. The embroidery material were composed of gold threads, such as rough purl, smooth purl, check purl, pearl purl, rococo, and spangle. Couching was used as an embroidery method. The coat was tailored after embroidering. The coat and the buttons were made after analyzing the artifacts. The result of this study can be utilized in the field of historical reconstruction of artifacts in the museum, the designing of stage costume in the performances of reenactment events, drama, and movie of Daehan Empire. Furthermore, this study is anticipated to contribute to the fundamental research of culture contents.

In Addition, they built on contents are rapidly growing, interests in protection and management of intellectual property rights linked to contents are growing. Global contents development corporates are making great efforts to create profits out of copyrights. They could utilize original contents to strengthen brand value use it to produce additional contents in current market. Also they take advantage of existing storyline of the contents and strong brand to explore new markets. This paper looks into Value articulation model by Professor James Conley and analyzed the firms that utilized intellectual property rights to extend the period of protection, strengthen their competitiveness and succeeded in breaking into new market by using the rights they possess. Also, this paper examines the usage of intellectual property rights and business expansion strategy of of Iconix, the Korean entertainment company, which gained tremendous popularity in last ten years using this model. In Value articulation model, Conley classifies the process of exploiting the portfolio of the single product's(or service's) intellectual property right for a period of time into three stages ; value transference, value translation, value transportation. Pororo's strategy of utilizing intellectual property right is suggestive to domestic entertainment companies. Under the influence of hallyu" (Korean wave), domestic contents such as movies, dramas and music are enjoying the high level of popularity recently not to mention animations. In reality, Korean entertainment companies who have no background or experience of Intellectual property rights are not creating enough added values compared to fast growing market. It is believed Iconix's intellectual property rights management strategy will suggest positive aspects to domestic companies. Moreover, I hope various intellectual property rights management strategies including Conley's value articulation are studied and they can make contributions to managing domestic entertainment companies.

Recently many informations are transmitted ,md stored as video data, and they are on the rapid increase because of popularization of high performance computer and internet. In this paper, to retrieve video data, shots are found through analysis of video stream and the method of detection of key frame is studied. Finally users can retrieve the video efficiently. This Paper suggests a new feature that is robust to object movement in a shot and is not sensitive to change of color in boundary detection of shots, and proposes the characterizing value that reflects the characteristic of kind of video (movie, drama, news, music video etc,). The key frames are pulled out from many frames by using the local minima and maxima of differential of the value. After original frame(not de image) are reconstructed for key frame, indexing process is performed through computing parameters. Key frames that arc similar to user's query image arc retrieved through computing parameters. It is proved that the proposed methods are better than conventional method from experiments. The retrieval accuracy rate is so high in experiments.
This paper describes the structural solution for the design of a 29-story high-rise tower, which features a large office space above the Kabukiza Theatre. Kabuki is a type of Japanese traditional drama, and Kabukiza is the home building of Kabuki. GINZA KABUKIZA is the fifth generation of the Kabukiza Theatre, the first of which was built in 1889. In order to support 23 stories of office space above the theater - featuring a large void in plan - two 13-meter-deep mega-trusses, spanning 38.4 meters, are installed at the fifth floor of the building. Steelwork is used as a primary material for the structure above-ground, and a hybrid response control system using a buckling-restrained brace and oil damper is adopted in order to achieve a high seismic performance. This paper also describes the erection process of installing hydraulic jacks directly above the mega-truss at column bases, in order to keep the structure above the truss level during construction. The temple architecture of the previous Kabukiza is carefully restored by incorporating contemporary light-weight materials supported by steelwork.
The purpos대 f this research was to figure out clothing imagery underlying Shakepeare's King Lear and transfer it into actual stage costume. Three steps were taken in order to achieve the purpose . The first step exemined theoretical background of the Shakepeare's imagery. The second step reviewed a wide spectum of stage costume used in the last four centuries. The final step was to design and produced actual stage costume focusing on Lear, while considering clothing imagery drawn from the previous steps. King Lear contained rich clothing imagery which could contrast the relationship between material and spirit. In particular, it shed light on the contrast between Lear's divesting and Edgar's wearing and denoted that wearing and divesting processes were closely related to spiritual and status changes. A review of stage costume used for four centuries was prepared in order to understand how clothing imagery was applied in producing stage costume. It was found that their stage costume was reflecting clothing imagery captured from the analysis of king Lear. On the basis of this review, this research presented Lear's stage costume which applied clothing imagery drawn from King Lear. In producing stage costume , actual stage costume used Elizabethan fashion as its basic color and pattern. It also utilized modern clothing production techniques and ornaments acceptable in these days. As Lear was depicted as a character who underwent spiritual and status changes in the process of divesting , his costume was produced in line with this clothing imagery (i.e., divesting). The long journey of reviewing and analyzing King Lear from a stand point of clothing reassured us, on the one hand, the importance of stage costume. On the other hand, it established the groundwork for developing the methodology of fashion design by applying clothing imagery drawn from literature to design and production of stage costume.

This study is an attempt to analyze the daily life of the Western-yearning Seoul citizens and the inflow of the Western culture into certain social classes. The customs of the characters in the film are studied to illustrate the process of deconstruction of Korean traditional clothes due to the Western influence. The combined application of the Western and Korean styles is also observed. All this study leads to the sense of homogeneity of the times and the conformity to the culture the Korean women shared, which boils down to the social identity of the Korean women who sought an escape from the men-centered social structure by displaying their competence in the field of global modern fashion. As Seonyeong Oh, the main character of the film, , was wearing in the movie the Korean traditional dress, socks, rubber shoes, and then a western-style coat, it well shows that in 1950's, the traditional dress and ornaments were mixed with Western styles. In time, men's wear were completely changed from the traditional Korean clothes to suits, while women's could not break off from the traditional clothes and become westernized, which indicates that the men-centered conservative ideas to keep women within the feudal regime of the society remained. The military look of Seonyeong Oh while she was acting in the society was a symbol of anti-bias against women and anti-convention as well as the will of freedom as an independent woman. Besides, the modern girls would wear clothes of military fashion, Dior's trapeze line, and knit styles flattering the figures. All these well show their desires to embrace Western cultures, especially their dress fashions as well as manners as so-called enlightened ladies. All these elements show that the director was trying to represent the progress of the drama, characters, and psychological states by means of the dress and ornaments.
The purpose of this article is to understand the causes and consequences of the formation and division process of the family relationship and the meaning of the restoration of the family relationship that appeared for the baby-boomer generation, the eco-boomer generation, and the subsequent generation which represent the reality of the time involved. The research method is based on a family that reflects the current age in the drama "My Golden Life" which showed the highest audience rating in the first half of 2018. As a result, the burdens, conflicts, and responsibility of the generations about family relations appeared as unilateral relations. It cut off the entangled relationship and dismantled it. However, the disconnection of the relationship played a role in recovering the subjectivity of the individual from the bridle of the family. As it turned out, the restoration of the family relationship was possible in the bi-directional relationship after the self-esteem and identity of the individual was established first.
This paper reexamines the formation process of Ch'anggŭk, Korea's musical drama based on p'ansori in the 1930s, focusing on the Ch'anggŭk gramophone records and the repertoire of the Chosŏn Sŏngak Yŏn'guhoe(Korean Vocal Music Association). The paper discussed the achievements and limitations of the Chosŏn Sŏngak Yŏn'guhoe which was at the center of the formation of Ch'anggŭk by examining the activities of the Chosŏn Sŏngak Yŏn'guhoe in the 1930s. The role of 'ipche-chang' and 'narrator' in the Ch'anggŭk gramophone records was seen as Ch'anggŭk imagination that was realized by the members of the Chosŏn Sŏngak Yŏn'guhoe who recognized the 'dramatic space and stage', which is distinct from p'ansori, Korean traditional vocal and percussion music. In addition, the paper discussed the difference and meaning of the concept of 'Sin-Ch'anggŭk' between Seo Hang-Seok and Song Seok-Ha, which is derived from the Ch'anggŭk formation. The performance of stage Ch'anggŭk in the 1930s was a repetition of the discussion that it should reach a point of Kagŭk, music or song dramas. This paper discussed the process of replacing the term 'Ch'anggŭk' with 'Kagŭk' at the time, and examined the way Ch'anggŭk stage was established as a perfect form during the process. The formation of Ch'anggŭk by members of the Chosŏn Sŏngak Yŏn'guhoe could be an important achievement in the history of Ch'anggŭk, but there was no choice but to reveal the limitation in the formal aspect due to the 'refinement' and 'exclusion' according to the cultural policy of Japan. P'ansori musicality was enhanced, but it could not contain the spirit and diversity of the times, so it could be said that there was no choice but to stop as a rudimentary creative imagination of Ch'anggŭk. Ch'anggŭk is a genre that is inherently limited, but the limitation can be overcome over the times, which will be covered in a subsequent paper.
