유아의 문제 행동에 대한 어머니의 양육 행동 자신감 (Mothers′ Confidence in their Parenting Practices for Children′s Behavioral Problems)

  • This study examined mothers′ confidence in parenting practices for dealing with children′s emotional and behavioral problems, as well as the relationships between different confident parenting practices and their application to children′s behavioral problems. A total of 337 mothers of 4- and 5-year-old children responded to the Mother′s Questionnaire of Children′s Behaviors, with the following study results. First, the mothers showed high confidence in applying their own parenting practices to their children′s behavioral problems without outside help. Second, the parenting practice of "asking for help from family members" was related to children′s withdrawn behaviors, anxious behaviors, aggressive behaviors, social relationship problems, moral problems, and rule and courtesy problems.

시설보호 아동의 스트레스 대처행동과 행동문제간의 관계 (The relationships between institutionalized children's stress coping behaviors and behavior problems)

  • The purpose of current study was to investigate the relationships between institutionalized children's stress coping behaviors and behavior problems. The subjects were composed of 80 primary school 4th, 5th, 6th graders(45 boys, 35 girls) and 55 middle school 1th, 2th graders(42 boys, 13 girls) who were institutionalized in jeonju. The major findings were as follows: 1) The institutionalized children's stress coping behaviors were significantly different between the groups based on gender, grade, and period in institution. 2) The institutionalized children's problem behaviors were statistically different between the groups based on gender and period in institution. 3) In regression analysis models, active or passive coping strategies were negatively or positively related to internalized behavior problems respectively. Furthermore period in institution was positively related to externalized behavior problems.

한부모 가정 청소년의 부모 양육태도와 내면화 문제와의 관계에서 정서적 조절과 자아존중감의 매개효과 검증 (Parenting Behaviors and Adolescents' Internalizing Problems in Single Parent Families : Mediating Effects of Emotional Regulation and Self-Esteem)

  • This longitudinal study tested the role of adolescents' emotional regulation and self-esteem as mediators of the associations between parenting behaviors and adolescent's internalizing problems one year later in a sample of 125 adolescents aged 16 to 17 years growing up in single parent families. Structural equation modeling was used for analyses of research questions. Results indicated that time 1 parenting behaviors were not associated with time 2 adolescents' internalizing problems directly, but that time 1 and time 2 self-esteem mediated the associations between time 1 parenting behaviors and time 2 adolescents' internalizing problems.

발달지체유아 어머니의 모-자 상호작용 행동 증진 프로그램의 효과 연구 (Effects of an Intervention Program for Mother-Child Interaction Behaviors of Mothers with Developmentally Delayed Young Children)

  • The study examined the effects of an intervention program for improving mother-child interaction behaviors of mothers with developmentally delayed young children. The program consisted of three main activities, lectures for good parenting, video-feedback of mother-child interactions, and consultation for problem behaviors of children. The subjects were 4 mothers of 5-6 years old children with developmental delays who were referred to a social competence program of a child counseling center. The mothers were identified to have problematic mother-child interaction behaviors through clinical interviews. The program ran for 16 sessions, one parent group leader implemented each session for 90-120 minutes once a week. The videotaped data of mother-child interactions for 10 minutes every 4 sessions were estimated by Maternal Behavior Rating Scale(MBRS) and qualitatively analyzed by transcription of communications between mothers and their children. It concluded that the intervention program enhanced mother-child interaction behaviors.

학령전환기 유아의 문제행동에 대한 연구 (Problem Behaviors of Young Children in the Transitional)

  • 본 연구는 유아의 학령전환기에 있는 만 5세 유아의 문제행동과 관련하여 유아, 교사 및 부모의 관련 변인과 유아의 문제행동에 통계적인 유의미한 차이가 있는지 살펴보고, 변인들의 상대적인 영향력을 알아보고자 한다. 본 연구대상은 학령전환기에 있는 만 5세 유아와 그들의 부모, 그리고 만 5세 유아의 담임교사를 대상으로 하였다. 연구방법은 빈도와 백분율, t-검증, 일원변량분석, 상관관계분석, 그리고 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과로는 첫째, 유아의 문제행동은 어머니 학력에 따라 유의미한 차이가 나타났으며, 둘째, 유아의 기질, 유아의 자아탄력성, 어머니의 양육스트레스, 어머니의 인성특성, 교사-유아관계, 교사의 정서표현성과 유아의 문제행동은 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 셋째, 교사-유아관계가 유아의 문제행동을 가장 잘 예언하는 변인으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 유아변인과 부모변인, 교사변인이 각각 그리고 상호적으로 유아의 문제행동에 대해 어느 정도 설명력을 갖는지를 살펴봄으로서 문제행동에 대한 총체적 이해와 실천에서의 통합모델을 제시하였다고 본다.

생애 초기 보육경험과 만 4세 유아의 사회정서발달 간 관계 (The Relations Between Early Child Care Experiences and Socioemotional Development of Children at Age 4)

  • The present study aimed at investigating the relations between the amount of child care experienced in the first three years of life and socioemotional development of children at age 4 indicated by problem behaviors and peer competence. Using the longitudinal data of the Panel Study of Korean Children(PSKC), the information of 1,699 children were analyzed. The results indicated that any child care experience, hours in child care, full-time child care and early entry to child care were significantly related to children's externalizing behavior problem and play disruption at age 4. Some significant relations were detected between child care experience and better peer competence as well. Interestingly, the patterns of relations were different for boys and girls. Being in child care, a greater amount of child care and early entry to child care tended to be related to externalizing problem behaviors of boys and whereas they were more related to peer competence of girls indicated by play interaction, play disruption and play disconnection. Child care hours at age 3 were relative stronger predictors of children's development compared to those at age 1 or at age 2. The findings imply that the amount of child care during the first 3 years of life does not have strong harmful effects on preschoolers' socioemotional development and that there are differences in the effects of child care on boys and girls.

장애아 어머니의 자아존중감, 스트레스 및 대처행동간의 관계 (The Relations Among Self-esteem, Stress and Coping Behaviors of Mothers with Handicapped Children)

  • Objective : The purposes of this study were two-fold; First it investigated self-esteem, stress and coping behaviors of mothers with handicapped children as a function of their and their children's characteristics; Second it examined the relationship among these variables. Method : The subjects were 294 mothers of handicapped children who were receiving treatment in one of the sixteen special therapy institutions in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, and Gangwon-do. Rosenberg's(1965) Self-Esteem Scale translated by Jeon Byung-Jea(1974) was used to measure the degree of mothers' self-esteem. Mothers' stress was assessed using the Support Burden Scale revised by Seong Jong-sook(2000) and their coping behavior was examined using Folkman's(1986) Coping Scale translated by Jeon Sung-hye. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson's Correlation. Result : The major results of this study were as follows; First, working mothers of handicapped children showed higher self-esteem and problem solving coping behavior more than non-working mothers. Self-esteem was found higher with high-income mothers than with low-income ones. Stress was shown more intense to low- and middle-income mothers than to high-income ones. Problem solving coping behavior was preferred more by high-and middle-income mothers than by low-income ones. Second, mothers with the mild-handicap children showed higher self-esteem than those with the first-degree handicap ones. Mothers of children with first-, second- and third-degree handicap perceived more stress than those with mild handicap. Coping behavior was significantly different depending on the severity of children's handicap, but no significant difference was found among the groups. Third, the higher the self-esteem of mothers was, the less they perceived stress and used more of problem solving coping behavior. When mothers perceived a great deal of stress, they used more of emotion-oriented coping behaviors.

치매노인의 다감각(Multisensory)과 신체활동(Physical activity)을 병합한 그룹 활동 프로그램의 적용 효과 (Outcomes of a Multisensory and Motor-Based Group Activity Program)

  • 목적 : 본 연구의 목적은 치매노인에게 다감각과 신체활동을 병합한 그룹 활동 프로그램이 이상행동과 보호자 고통정도의 감소에 영향을 주는지 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 본 연구는 치매전문요양원에 입소하여 생활하는 5명의 중증 이상의 치매노인을 대상으로 4주간 프로그램을 적용하였다. 프로그램 효과를 검증하기 위해 사용한 평가도구는 신경정신행동검사(Neuropsychiatric Inventory)였고, 12가지 이상행동빈도와 이에 따른 요양보호사의 고통정도를 프로그램 전과 후로 나누어 각각 측정하였다. 결과분석은 비모수 통계방법인 윌콕슨 부호 순위 검정(Wilcoxon signed rank test)을 사용하였다. 결과 : 치매노인의 이상행동증상 빈도의 평균이 70점에서 48점으로 감소하였고, 보호자의 고통정도는 평균이 47점에서 29점으로 감소하였다. 결론 : 본 연구의 결과를 통해 요양원 거주인의 다감각과 신체활동을 적용한 그룹 활동 프로그램이 중증 이상의 치매 노인에게 이상행동과 요양보호사 고통정도가 감소하는데 긍정적인 효과가 있음이 증명되었다.

Product Adoption Maximization Leveraging Social Influence and User Interest Mining

  • A Social Networking Service (SNS) platform provides digital footprints to discover users' interests and track the social diffusion of product adoptions. How to identify a small set of seed users in a SNS who is potential to adopt a new promoting product with high probability, is a key question in social networks. Existing works approached this as a social influence maximization problem. However, these approaches relied heavily on text information for topic modeling and neglected the impact of seed users' relation in the model. To this end, in this paper, we first develop a general product adoption function integrating both users' interest and social influence, where the user interest model relies on historical user behavior and the seed users' evaluations without any text information. Accordingly, we formulate a product adoption maximization problem and prove NP-hardness of this problem. We then design an efficient algorithm to solve this problem. We further devise a method to automatically learn the parameter in the proposed adoption function from users' past behaviors. Finally, experimental results show the soundness of our proposed adoption decision function and the effectiveness of the proposed seed selection method for product adoption maximization.

청소년의 음주폐해 예방 중재가 음주 빈도와 문제행동에 미치는 효과: 메타분석 (The Effect of Alcohol-related Harm Preventing Intervention on Drinking Frequency and Problem Behaviors of Adolescent: A Meta-analysis)

  • 본 연구는 청소년의 음주폐해 예방을 위한 학교기반, 피드백, 행동수정의 3가지 중재 중 음주 빈도와 문제행동의 감소에 효과적인 중재를 확인하고자 하였다. 청소년기 그룹에게 알코올 중재를 적용한 무작위대조군연구 16편을 대상으로 메타분석을 수행하였다. 학교기반, 피드백, 행동수정의 각 중재방법에 따른 음주빈도와 음주 문제행동을 추적기간별로 나누어 통계적 이질성, 효과크기, 민감도 검정을 실시하였다. 음주빈도의 감소를 위한 결과 피드백 중재가 3개월 미만에서, 음주 문제행동의 감소를 위한 결과 피드백 중재가 4~12개월의 추적기간에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다(p<.05). 음주 빈도의 결과 3개월 미만에서 학교기반이 "큰", 피드백은 "작은", 4~12개월에서는 피드백이 "큰" 효과크기로 해석되었다. 음주 문제행동의 결과 3개월 미만에서 학교기반이 "중간", 피드백은 "큰", 4~12개월에서는 학교기반이 "중간", 피드백은 "큰" 효과크기로 해석되었다. 피드백 중재가 3개월 미만의 추적기간 동안 음주 빈도의 감소를 위해 효과적이며, 4~12개월의 추적기간 동안에는 음주 문제행동 감소에 효과적인 중재임을 확인하였다. 또한 청소년의 음주폐해 감소 및 예방을 위한 학교기반 중재와 피드백 중재의 유용성을 확인하였다.
