  • Evaluation Project on Appropriate Prescribing (EPAP) which is analysing prescribing pattern and providing physicians feedback has begun in 2001. EPAP indicators are related to antibiotics for acute respiratory tract infections, overuse of injection, polypharmacy (no. of drugs prescribed together, no. of prescriptions with 6 or more drugs), prescribing of specific medication group (drugs for acid related disorders, NSAIDs, corticosteroids) and medication expenditure per prescription day. The aim of this study was to suggest a development plan for EPAP indicators suitable for domestic situation. A consensus group consisting of seventeen health care professionals evaluated significance of each therapeutic class for EPAP indicators expansion considering information such as magnitude of issue, prescribing indicators of foreign countries, reimbursement criteria by each therapeutic class. Based on the data and group survey, 5 classes were selected as candidates for prescribing indicators and we presented 24 indicators regarding 5 classes. The results suggested that we need to augment evaluation indicators of additional area.

  • The Pandemic crisis caused by COVID-19 has raised awareness of the importance of supply chain risk management, such as the control of movement between countries and the simultaneous manufacturing paralysis in the world. Effective risk management within the supply chain of the company is a core competency in the global environment. Therefore, this study quantitatively analyzed the perspective of domestic large corporations and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by using the hierarchical analysis method (AHP) to identify the factors that should be considered as the priority when establishing supply chain risk management plans for large and small business employees. In order to conduct the study, a survey was conducted on large corporations and small and medium enterprises in Gyeongnam and Busan, and AHP analysis was conducted using Microsoft 365 excel program. In addition, Mann-Whitney U test (independent sample-nonparametric test) was conducted using SPSS/18 version of statistical package program for comparative analysis between groups. As a result, the priority was highly evaluated in the order of financial ability, competitiveness, disaster in the overall priority evaluation. There were statistically significant differences in internal risk and strategic decision making of supply chain between groups. This suggests that fandemics such as COVID-19 can not be predicted, but strategic responses are needed to utilize opportunities expressed in the crisis through supply chain risk management and to increase the competitive advantage of domestic companies even in the crisis.

  • The purpose of this research is to provide a basic knowledge to open up for undeveloped park in process of the park policy establishment by setting up the priority of park development and valuation factor, valuation index as well as building a basic material to undeveloped neighborhood park in Daegu Metropolitan City. Thirteen urban neighborhood parks(1,841,663$m^2$) in the Daegu Metropolitan City were selected for this study. Analyzing and reviewing the previous research and literature review were conducted, and the evaluation index and analysis criteria were constructed to decide the development priority of parks. The results of this research are as follows; 1) Following to the result of the expert questionnaire test in order to estimate weight of valuation factors. It had a high score in available population, and estimated amount of the gross compensation, unpurchased land rate. On the other hand park rate of autonomous district, altitude, rate of population increase in autonomous district and a low score. 2) Generally, most f the plain type parks had a high score in the Sea level, land using pattern, an estimated amount of the gross compensation, but hill type parks had a high score the rate of green covered, park area for one person of administration building. 3) Daebong, Soosung, Dosan, 2.28 youth, Kyungnam parks were selected high priority. Soochang, Donsibong, Janggi, Dongin parks were selected middle priority. Bokhyun, Galsan, Manchon, Gusoosan parks, which were selected low priority. This research for undeveloped park is a basic research step to open up. Three many difficult things in shortage of the basic material for building valuation factor and measuring of the method measurement. The application of weight which make a decision importance among the valuation factor should have ore reasonable study and more scientific research from now because there still remains a lot of shortage of positive materials in there.

  • The Korean government has purchased land properties alongside any significant water bodies before setting up the buffers to secure water qualities. Since the annual budgets are limited, however, there has always been the issue of which land parcels ought to be given the priority. Therefore, this study aims to develop efficient mechanism for land acquisition priorities in stream corridors that would ultimately be vegetated for riparian buffer zones. The criteria of land acquisition priority were driven through literary review along with experts' advice. The relative weights of their value and priorities for each criterion were computed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process(AHP) method. Major findings of the study are as follows: 1. The decision-making structural model for land acquisition priority focuses mainly on the reduction of non-point source pollutants(NSPs). This fact is highly associated with natural and physical conditions and land use types of surrounding areas. The criteria were classified into two categories-NSPs runoff areas and potential NSPs runoff areas. 2. Land acquisition priority weights derived for NSPs runoff areas and potential NSPs runoff areas were 0.862 and 0.138, respectively. This implicates that much higher priority should be given to the land parcels with NSPs runoff areas. 3. Weights and priorities of sub-criteria suggested from this study include: proximity to the streams(0.460), land cover(0.189), soil permeability(0.117), topographical slope(0.096), proximity to the roads(0.058), land-use types(0.036), visibility to the streams(0.032), and the land price(0.012). This order of importance suggests, as one can expect, that it is better to purchase land parcels that are adjacent to the streams. 4. A standard scoring system including the criteria and weights for land acquisition priority was developed which would likely to allow expedited decision making and easy quantification for priority evaluation due to the utilization of measurable spatial data. Further studies focusing on both point and non-point pollutants and GIS-based spatial analysis and mapping of land acquisition priority are needed.

  • It is expected that the maintenance cost of domestic bridges will increase considerably due to the increase of bridge service time. In response to this situation, the government and relevant ministries are focusing on developing ways to efficiently allocate limited budgets and to rationally select maintenance bridge. In this study, to develop a risk - based bridge maintenance priority decision model, 14 common risk factors causing damage to bridges were extracted and AHP analysis was performed to select 5 important factors. Based on the existing literature review and expert consultation, we derive the evaluation criteria and the impact weights of the selected factors, and based on this, I presented risk based bridge maintenance priority model. Using this model in combination with existing maintenance priority methods will lead to more reasonable bridge maintenance priorities.

  • Purpose: The study aims to identify the theme list and priority criteria of patient safety theme reports in South Korea. Methods: The survey was conducted twice, and the importance of each criterion and theme was measured on a nine-point scale using the Delphi technique by a panel of 19 patient safety experts. The criteria included severity, universality, preventability, and organizational-social impact. Descriptive statistics such as frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, median, and interval quartile range were used to analyze the data. Results: The parameters were assigned a weighted average of 35% for severity, 20% for universality, 30% for preventability, and 15% for organizational-social impact, respectively. The final top three rankings were surgery safety, blood transfusion safety, and medication safety. In addition to expert opinion, for the theme that is selected based on the priority ranking, one to five sub-topics can be derived from the theme based on the priority ranking, societal demands, or the yearly priority list of patient safety incidents. Conclusion: It is recommended that the official patient safety center distribute the report in the form of a summary that can be utilized nationwide at medical institutions, government institutions, and other places. Updates, as well as accumulated theme reports, will serve as the baseline data for the proposal of the system and for the policy designed to implement and improve institutions' safety practices as a standard of domestic patient safety practice guidelines.
