식육에서 피틴산염과 인산염의 Escherichia coli O157:H7균에 대한 항균효과 (Antibacterial Activity of Sodium Phytate and Sodium Phosphates Against Escherichia coli O157:H7 in Meats)

  • 피틴산(Phytic acid)dms inositol hexaphosphate로서 식물성 식품 및 씨 중에 1-5%가량 존재하는 자연 항산화 물질로서 소화효소에 의해 쉽게 분해되지 않는다. 한편 인산염은 식육에서 품질개량제로 식육에서의 항균 효과에 대해서는 이미 여러 보고가 있으나 그 결과는 다양하다. 일반적으로 생육에서는 그 효능이 낮은데 이것은 생육에 존재하는 phosphatase의 작용에 의해 인산염들이 가수분해되기 때문이다. 한편 피틴산염은 열에 강하고 쉽게 분해되지 않으므로 생육이나 멸균 처리된 식육에서 공히 인산염들이 가지고 있는 항균효과를 기대할 수 있다. 본 실험에서는 선택배지에서 E. coli O157:H7에 대한 sodium phytate(STP), sodium pyrophosphate(SPP) 및 sodium tripolyphosphate(STPP)의 항균효과를 평가하였고,더불어 생육 및 가열 처리된 식육모델에서 E. coli O157:H7 접종 후에 항균 효과를 비교 평가하였다. 선택된 배지인 tryptic soy broth에서 E. coli O157:H7에 대한 항균 효과는 SPT, SPP 및 STPP의 0.05, 0.1, 0.5%의 세 가지 농도에서 농도에 의존적으로 유의성 있게 세균 증식을 억제시켰으며, 항균효과는 SPP에서 가장 강하게 나타났다. 생육인 닭고기, 돼지고기 및 소고기에 SPT, SPP 및 STPP를 각각 0.05, 0.1, 0.3 그리고 0.5%의 농도별로 첨가했을 때 E. coli O157:H7의 증식이 모두 유의성 있게 감소하였다 (p<0.05). 또한 가열 처리한 식육에서도 이러한 항균효과가 유의적으로 관찰되었으며(p<0.05), SPT는 SPP나 STPP보다 더 강한 항균효과를 보였다. 이러한 항균효과들은 가열처리된 식육보다 생육에서 더욱 강하게 나타났다. SPT, SPP 및 STPP의 첨가는 식육에서 pH를 증가시켰으며, STP의 첨가는 식육에서 soluble orthophosphate 유리에 영향을 주지 않았으나, SPP 및 STPP의 첨가는 식육에서 soluble orthophosphate의 유리를 증가시켰다. 이러한 결과로부터 피틴산염은 이미 알려진 인산염들보다 미약하나마 항균효과가 뛰어나며 더불어 축산식품의 첨가제로서 사용시 식품의 기능성 향상과 더불어 매우 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

해상 위험·유해물질(HNS) 관리 우선순위 선정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Prioritization of HNS Management in Korean Waters)

  • 국내에서 해상을 통하여 운송되는 위험 유해물질(HNS, Hazardous and Noxious Substances)의 종류는 약 6천여 종이고, 그 유통량은 2억5천1백만톤으로 전체 해상운송량의 약 19 %를 차지하며 해상 HNS 무역량 증가율은 세계 평균증가율의 2.5배에 해당한다. 이를 반영하듯 최근 국내 해상에서 HNS 유출사고가 빈번하게 발생하고 있어 이에 대한 대비 대응 사후처리 및 복원기술 개발에 대한 사회적 요구가 증대되고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 국내외 화학물질 관리 우선순위 기법을 검토하여 해상 HNS를 관리하기 위한 우선순위선정기법을 개발하고 적용하였다. 우선순위 선정을 위해 물리 화학적 특성, 인체 및 수생태독성, 잔류성, 축적성, 해상운송량에 대한 DB를 구축하였다. 우선순위는 인체위해성과 수생태위해성에 대해 각각 노출지표들과 독성지표들의 곱으로 점수화하고, 최종적으로 인체위해성과 수생태위해성 점수를 합하여 물질별 위해성 점수를 산정하였다. 우선순위산정 결과, Aniline을 포함한 상위 20개 물질이 제시되었으나 순위에 의한 단순한 관리보다는 점수별 물질 군으로 구분하여 관리해야 할 것으로 판단된다. 또한, 위해성 DB 구축과정에서 인체 및 수생태 만성독성 자료와 해양생물독성에 대한 자료가 매우 빈약한 것으로 나타났으므로 우선순위 물질들을 대상으로 자료 부재여부를 조사하여 관련 독성시험 연구를 진행해야 할 것으로 생각된다. 본 연구에서 개발된 우선순위시스템 및 우선순위 물질들은 향후 자료보완 및 전문가 검토가 이루어질 경우 HNS 사고 관리 및 관련기술 개발에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

나주지역 중학생의 식생활 관여도와 식행동 연구 (A Study on Food Involvement and Dietary Behavior of Middle School Students in Naju Area)

  • 본 연구는 중학생들의 영양지식, 식생활 관여도 및 식행동 실태를 파악하고 영양지식 정도에 따른 식생활 관여도와 식행동 차이를 비교 분석함으로써 남 녀 중학생들의 바람직한 식행동을 유도하여 청소년들의 건강증진에 이바지할 수 있는 식생활 교육의 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 나주시 소재의 남 여 중학생 528명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 사용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 자료의 분석은 SAS/PC 프로그램을 이용하여, 빈도, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차를 산출하였고, t-test, 일원변량분석을 수행하였으며, 사후검증으로 Duncan의 다중범위검증을 실시하였다. 주요 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중학생의 식사행동 인식은 세끼 식사 중 아침식사를 중요하게 생각하는 경우가 가장 많았으며, 음식 선택의 기준은 맛을 가장 우선시하였다. 주문 배달음식 섭취는 일주일에 1$\sim$2회가 가장 높았고 주문 배달음식 종류는 서양음식이 가장 높게 나타났다. 본인의 체중 인지는 살찐편이라고 생각하는 경우가 높게 나타났고, 체중조절 방법으로 운동을 하고 있는 경우가 가장 많았으며, 그에 따른 운동의 규칙성은 응답자의 절반 가량이 규칙적으로 하지 않았다. 실시하고 있는 운동의 종류는 걷기, 달리기, 윗몸 일으키기 등이었고 자신의 식생활에서 개선할 점에서는 편식과 불규칙한 식사시간을 고쳐야할 점이라고 높게 인식하고 있었다. 식생활 정보 수집원으로는 TV를 통해 얻는 경우가 40%임을 볼 때 영양정보 전달의 효과적인 대중매체의 책임있는 교육 프로그램이 개발, 보급되어야 하겠다. 둘째, 관련변인에 따른 식생활 관여도는 성별, 학년, 모 학력, 체중의 인지, 체중 조절 방법, 운동 형태, 개선할 식생활의 인지에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 관련변인에 따른 식행동은 학년, 식사의 우선 순위, 음식 선택 기준, 체중 조절 방법, 개선할 식생활의 인지에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 영양지식 정도에 따른 식생활 관여도의 차이는 영양지식이 '상'과 '중'인 집단에 비해 '하'인 집단이 낮게 나타났다. 영양지식 정도에 따른 식행동의 차이는 영양지식이 높은 집단이 식행동이 양호하게 나타났고, 영양지식이 낮은 집단이 식행동도 낮게 나타났다. 이는 청소년 시기에 습득한 영양지식이 실제 식생활 태도에 크게 작용하는 점으로 보아 올바른 식습관 형성에 도움을 줄 수 있는 체계적이고 지속적인 학교교육과 가정교육의 필요하다고 하겠다. 넷째, 식생활 관여도에 따른 식행동의 차이는 식생활 관여도가 높은 집단의 식행동이 식생활 관여도가 낮은 집단보다 식행동이 유의적으로 높게 나타났다.

도시차원의 빗물순환체계 요소별 입지선정에 관한 연구 - 개발예정지역의 환경생태계획 적용방안을 중심으로 - (A Study on Location Selection for Rainwater Circulation System Elements at a City Level - Focusing on the Application of the Environmental and Ecological Plan of a Development -)

  • 본 연구는 신도시 개발 등 규모가 비교적 큰 도시개발에 있어 빗물을 이용하여 자연적인 빗물순환체계를 구축하는데 중점을 두고 있다. 특히 통합빗물관리를 위한 자연적인 빗물순환체계 요소별 입지 선정 방법을 개발하여 수문환경의 변화를 최소화하고, 자연적인 물순환을 회복하여 저영향개발(LID)을 실현할 수 있으며, 이를 통해 유출량 저감뿐만 아니라 도시 내의 수공간 및 녹지공간의 증가로 인한 도시의 지속가능성을 증진시키는 데 목적이 있다. 통합빗물관리를 위한 빗물순환체계 요소별 입지 선정을 위한 최종적인 빗물순환체계 요소로는 집수, 침투, 여과, 저류, 이동 공간의 5가지 항목이 도출되었으며, 이를 토대로 각 요소별 입지선정 항목 및 기준을 설정하였다. 도출된 평가항목과 기준을 적용하기 위한 방법은 적합성지수 이론을 바탕으로 Gridcellanalysis를 실시하여 각 요소별로 적합성평가를 통해 주제도를 중첩하고 종합하여, 적합성지수에 따라 등급화 함으로써 요소별 조성가능 우선지역을 구분하도록 하였다. 개발된 방법은 경북 김천 혁신도시 개발예정지에 적용함으로써 그 실행가능성과 한계를 검토하였으며, 각 요소별 주제도의 중첩 결과는 Verylow, Low, Moderate, High, Veryhigh의 5단계로 구분하여, 공간 특성을 쉽게 파악할 수 있게 하였다. 마지막으로 적용한 결과를 바탕으로 현 토지이용계획도면 위에 빗물순환체계 구상도를 작성해 봄으로써 환경생태계획 후 세부공간계획 단계에서 물순환체계를 구축하는데 있어 유용하게 활용될 수 있으며, 지속가능한 도시개발을 위한 친환경적 도시계획의 수단으로 이용될 수 있다.

도시재생사업에 따른 골목정원 구성요소의 만족도 분석 - 대구광역시 비산 2·3동을 대상으로 - (Analysis of Satisfaction on Alley Garden's Components through Urban Regeneration - Focused on Bisan 2·3-dong in Daegu Metropolitan City -)

  • 본 연구는 바람직한 도시재생 방안으로서 지역 주민의 의견을 수렴 분석하고, 골목환경의 개선방안을 제시하고자 대구광역시 비산 2 3동 골목정원 조성지역의 주민을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면, 골목정원 구성요소의 중요도 및 만족도 분석에서는 '조명시설 설치', '하수 및 쓰레기 처리', 'CCTV 설치' 등 안전하고 청결한 환경과 관련된 항목들이 높은 중요도 값을 가지며, '조명시설 설치', '초화류의 양', '초화류의 종류' 등 주거환경 개선사업의 시행과 골목정원 조성으로 개선된 항목들의 만족도가 높은 것으로 분석되었다. IPA 분석결과, '빈집 정비', '벤치, 파고라 등 휴게시설', '주민교류 공간', '공용주차장' 등의 항목들이 중요도는 높지만 만족도가 낮아 중점개선이 필요한 항목으로 나타났다. 다음으로 요인분석을 통해서 골목정원 구성요소들이 '안전 및 청결성', '녹음성', '미관정비', '교류 및 편의시설' 등 4개 요인으로 유형화되었다. 이를 토대로 4개 요인이 전체 만족도에 미치는 영향을 회귀분석한 결과, 4개의 요인 모두 전체 만족도에 유의미한 영향력을 가지며, '미관정비'와 '안전 및 청결성'이 각각 0.274, 0.235로 영향력이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 골목환경 개선을 위해서는 주민교류 공간 및 휴게시설 설치가 우선적으로 필요할 것으로 판단된다. 또한, 골목환경의 전체 만족도를 높이기 위해 조형물 설치, 벽화 그리기 등과 같은 활동에 주민 참여를 유도하고, 안전벨, 범죄예방, 환경설계 등의 도입과 골목미화 활동이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

할인점 서비스품질의 각 차원이 CS에 미치는 영향에 대한 한(韓).중(中)간 비교 문화적 연구 (The Cross-Cultural Study about Effects of Service Quality Dimensions on CS in Korea and China)

  • A hypermarket as the one of the most globally standardized retailing format is also the type of store among various types of stores that the most active in expanding into other foreign markets. Recently, as several Korean retailing companies start to penetrate into Chinese market they differentiate themselves with modern facilities and customers service oriented high-end concept. China and Korea as Far East Asian countries share many common values, however precise and careful analysis should be carried out since there may also be critical differences in socio-economic aspects as well as in consumption patterns due to the level of development stages of retail industry among two countries. Even though precise and careful study is crucial on Chinese retailing market and consumers, none of researches and studies on 'how the quality of service dimensional structure is different between Korea and China', and 'what will be the most important and influential service dimensional factors for Chinese consuers compared to the hypermarkets customers in Korea' in order to improve the level of Chinese consumers satisfaction' have been fulfilled At this point of view, this study uses KD-SQS (Rho Eun Jung & Sir Yong Gu, 2008) which is a measure of Korean hypermarkets service quality to set up a hypothesis on Korean and Chinese consumers, and an empirical analysis is conducted. We try to get the answers about how the comparative importance of Service quality dimensions which decides the level of customer satisfaction is different depending on the cultural dimensions and socio-economic factors among two countries, Korea and China. Based upon the results, we try to give a valuable suggestion of what service dimensional factors should be reinforced to improve the level of CS in Chinese retailing market. Hypotheses for this study are as follows : H1. Each dimension of Service Quality significantly affects the level of CS H2. The effect of 'Basic Benefit' in service quality dimensions on the level of CS is greater in China than in Korea H3. The effect of 'Promotion' in service quality dimensions on the level of CS is greater in China than in Korea H4. The effect of 'Physical Aspects'in service quality dimensions on the level of CS is greater in Korea than in China. H5. The effect of 'Personal Interaction' in service quality dimensions on the level of CS is greater in China than in Korea H6. The effect of 'Policy' in service quality dimensions on the level of CS will be greater in Korean than in China H7. The effect of additional convenience in service quality dimensions on the level of CS will be greater in Korean than in China. More than 1,100 data were collected directly from the surveys of Chinese and Korean consumers in order to verify the hypotheses above. In Korea, stores which have floor space of over $9,000m^2$and opened later than year 2000 were selected for the samples, and thus Gayang, Wolgye, Sangbong, Eunpyeong, Suh-Suwon, Gojan stores and their customers were surveyed. In China, notable differences in the income levels and consumer behaviors between cities and regions were considered, and thus the research area was limited to the stores only in Shanghai. 6 stores which have the size of over $6,000m^2$ and opened later than 2000, such as Ruihong, Intu, Mudanjang, Sanrin, Raosimon, and Ranchao stores were selected for the survey. SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 7.0 were used as statistical tools, and exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and multi-group analysis were conducted. In order to carry out a multi group analysis that decides whether the structure variables which shows the different effects of 6 service dimensions in Korean and Chinese groups is statistically valid, configural invariance, metric invariance, and structural invariance are tested in order. At the results of the tests, 3 out of 7 hypotheses were supported and other 4 hypotheses were denied. According to the study, 4 dimensions (Basic Benefit, Physical Environment, Policy, and additional convenience) were positively correlated with CS in Korea, and 3 dimensions (i.e. basic benefit, policy, additional convenience) were significant in China. However, the significance of the service-dimensions was turned out to be partially different in Korea and China. The Basic Benefit is more influential in deciding the level of CS in china than Korea, however Physical Aspect is more important factor in Korea. 'Policy dimension' did not make significant difference between two countries. In the 'additional convenience dimension', the differences in 'socio-economic factors' than in'cultural background' were considered as more important in Chinese consumers than Korean. Overall, the improvement of Service quality will be crucial factors to increase the level of CS in Chinese market same as Korean market. In addition, more emphases need to be placed on the service qualities of 'Basic Benefit' and 'additional convenience' dimensions in China. In particular, 'low price' and 'product diversity' that constitute 'Basic Benefit' are proved to be comparatively disadvantageous and weak points of Korean companies compared to global players, and thus the prompt strengthening those dimensions would be urgent for Korean retailers. Moreover, additional conveniences such as various tenants and complex service and entertaining area will be more important in China than in Korea. Besides, Applying advanced Korean Hypermaret`s customer policy to Chinese consumers will help to get higher reliability and to differentiate themselves to other competitors. However, as personal interaction, physical aspect, promotions were proved as not significant for the level of CS in China, Korean companies need to reconsider the priority order of resource allocations when they tap into Chinese market.

논벼 장.단간품종의 증발산제계수와 건물량과의 관계에 대한 연구(I) (Studies on Relations between Various Coeffcients of Evapo-Transpiration and Quantities of Dry Matters for Tall-and Short Statured Varieties of Paddy Rice)

  • The purpose of this thesis is to disclose some characteristics of water consumption in relation to the quantities of dry matters through the growing period for two statured varieties of paddy rice which are a tall statured variety and a short one, including the water consumption during seedling period, and to find out the various coefficients of evapotranspiration that are applicable for the water use of an expected yield of the two varieties. PAL-TAL, a tall statured variety, and TONG-lL, a short statured variety were chosen for this investigation. Experiments were performed in two consecutive periods, a seedling period and a paddy field period, In the investigation of seedling period, rectangular galvanized iron evapotranspirometers (91cm${\times}$85cm${\times}$65cm) were set up in a way of two levels (PAL-TAL and TONG-lL varieties) with two replications. A standard fertilization method was applied to all plots. In the experiment of paddy field period, evapotanspiration and evaporation were measured separately. For PAL-TAL variety, the evapotranspiration measurements of 43 plots of rectangular galvanized iron evapotranspirometer (91cm${\times}$85cm${\times}$65cm) and the evaporation measurements of 25 plots of rectangular galvanized iron evaporimeter (91cm${\times}$85cm${\times}$15cm) have been taken for seven years (1966 through 1972), and for TONG-IL variety, the evapotranspiration measurements of 19 plots and the evaporation measurements of 12 plots have been collected for two years (1971 through 1972) with five different fertilization levels. The results obtained from this investigation are summarized as follows: 1. Seedling period 1) The pan evaporation and evapotranspiration during seedling period were proved to have a highly significant correlation to solar radiation, sun shine hours and relative humidity. But they had no significant correlation to average temperature, wind velocity and atmospheric pressure, and were appeared to be negatively correlative to average temperature and wind velocity, and positively correlative to the atmospheric pressure, in a certain period. There was the highest significant correlation between the evapotranspiration and the pan evaporation, beyond all other meteorological factors considered. 2) The evapotranpiration and its coefficient for PAL-TAL variety were 194.5mm and 0.94∼1.21(1.05 in average) respectively, while those for TONG-lL variety were 182.8mm and 0.90∼1.10(0.99 in average) respectively. This indicates that the evapotranspiration for TONG-IL variety was 6.2% less than that for PAL-TAL variety during a seedling period. 3) The evapotranspiration ratio (the ratio of the evapotranspiration to the weight of dry matters) during the seedling period was 599 in average for PAL-TAL variety and 643 for TONG-IL variety. Therefore the ratio for TONG-IL was larger by 44 than that for PAL-TAL variety. 4) The K-values of Blaney and Criddle formula for PAL-TAL variety were 0.78∼1.06 (0.92 in average) and for TONG-lL variety 0.75∼0.97 (0.86 in average). 5) The evapotranspiration coefficient and the K-value of B1aney and Criddle formular for both PAL-TAL and TONG-lL varieties showed a tendency to be increasing, but the evapotranspiration ratio decreasing, with the increase in the weight of dry matters. 2. Paddy field period 1) Correlation between the pan evaporation and the meteorological factors and that between the evapotranspiration and the meteorological factors during paddy field period were almost same as that in case of the seedling period (Ref. to table IV-4 and table IV-5). 2) The plant height, in the same level of the weight of dry matters, for PAL-TAL variety was much larger than that for TONG-IL variety, and also the number of tillers per hill for PAL-TAL variety showed a trend to be larger than that for TONG-IL variety from about 40 days after transplanting. 3) Although there was a tendency that peak of leaf-area-index for TONG-IL variety was a little retarded than that for PAL-TAL variety, it appeared about 60∼80 days after transplanting. The peaks of the evapotranspiration coefficient and the weight of dry matters at each growth stage were overlapped at about the same time and especially in the later stage of growth, the leaf-area-index, the evapotranspiration coefficient and the weight of dry matters for TONG-IL variety showed a tendency to be larger then those for PAL-TAL variety. 4) The evaporation coefficient at each growth stage for TONG-IL and PAL-TALvarieties was decreased and increased with the increase and decrease in the leaf-area-index, and the evaporation coefficient of TONG-IL variety had a little larger value than that of PAL-TAL variety. 5) Meteorological factors (especially pan evaporation) had a considerable influence to the evapotranspiration, the evaporation and the transpiration. Under the same meteorological conditions, the evapotranspiration (ET) showed a increasing logarithmic function of the weight of dry matters (x), while the evaporation (EV) a decreasing logarithmic function of the weight of dry matters; 800kg/10a x 2000kg/10a, ET=al+bl logl0x (bl>0) EV=a2+b2 log10x (a2>0 b2<0) At the base of the weight of total dry matters, the evapotranspiration and the evaporation for TONG-IL variety were larger as much as 0.3∼2.5% and 7.5∼8.3% respectively than those of PAL-TAL variety, while the transpiration for PAL-TAL variety was larger as much as 1.9∼2.4% than that for TONG-IL variety on the contrary. At the base of the weight of rough rices the evapotranspiration and the transpiration for TONG-IL variety were less as much as 3.5% and 8.l∼16.9% respectively than those for PAL-TAL variety and the evaporation for TONG-IL was much larger by 11.6∼14.8% than that for PAL-TAL variety. 6) The evapotranspiration coefficient, the evaporation coefficient and the transpiration coefficient and the transpiration coefficient were affected by the weight of dry matters much more than by the meteorological conditions. The evapotranspiratioa coefficient (ETC) and the evaporation coefficient (EVC) can be related to the weight of dry matters (x) by the following equations: 800kg/10a x 2000kg/10a, ETC=a3+b3 logl0x (b3>0) EVC=a4+b4 log10x (a4>0, b4>0) At the base of the weights of dry matters, 800kg/10a∼2000kg/10a, the evapotranspiration coefficients for TONG-IL variety were 0.968∼1.474 and those for PAL-TAL variety, 0.939∼1.470, the evaporation coefficients for TONG-IL variety were 0.504∼0.331 and those for PAL-TAL variety, 0.469∼0.308, and the transpiration coefficients for TONG-IL variety were 0.464∼1.143 and those for PAL-TAL variety, 0.470∼1.162. 7) The evapotranspiration ratio, the evaporation ratio (the ratio of the evaporation to the weight of dry matters) and the transpiration ratio were highly affected by the meteorological conditions. Furthermore the evapotranspiration intensity appeared to have more stable at each growth stage. The peaks of the evapotranspiration intensity and transpiration intensity, for both TONG-IL and PAL-TAL varieties, appeared about 60∼70 days after transplanting, and the peak value of the former was 128.8${\pm}$0.7, for TONG-IL variety while that for PAL-TAL variety, 122.8${\pm}$0.3, and the peak value of the latter was 152.2${\pm}$1.0 for TONG-IL variety while that for PAL-TAL variety, 152.7${\pm}$1.9 (Ref.to table IV-27 and table IV-28) 9) The K-value in Blaney & Criddle formula was changed considerably by the meteorological condition (pan evaporation) and related to be a increasing logarithmic function of the weight of dry matters (x) for both PAL-TAL and TONG-L varieties as follows; 800kg/10a x 2000kg/10a, K=a7+b7 logl0x (b7>0) The K-value for TONG-IL variety was a little larger than that for PAL-TAL variety. 10) The peak values of the evapotranspiration coefficient and k-value at each growth stage for both TONG-IL and PAL-TAL varieties showed up about 60∼70 days after transplanting. The peak values of the former at the base of the weights of total dry matters, 800∼2000kg/10a, were 1.14∼1.82 for TONG-IL variety and 1.12∼1.80, for PAL-TAL variety, and at the base of the weights of rough rices, 400∼1000 kg/10a, were 1.11∼1.79 for TONG-IL variety and 1.17∼1.85 for PAL-TAL variety. The peak values of the latter, at the base of the weights of total dry matters, 800∼2000kg/10a, were 0.83∼1.39 for TONG-IL variety and 0.86∼1.36 for PAL-TAL variety and at the base of the weights of rough rices, 400∼1000kg/10a, 0.85∼1.38 for TONG-IL variety and 0.87∼1.40 for PAL-TAL variety (Ref. to table IV-18 and table IV-32) 11) The reasonable and practicable methods that are applicable for calculating the evapotranspiration of paddy rice in our country are to be followed the following priority a) Using the evapotranspiration coefficients based on an expected yield (Ref. to table IV-13 and table IV-18 or Fig. IV-13). b) Making use of the combination method of seasonal evapotranspiration coefficient and evapotranspiration intensity (Ref. to table IV-13 and table IV-27) c) Adopting the combination method of evapotranspiration ratio and evapotranspiration intensity, under the conditions of paddy field having a higher level of expected yield (Ref. to table IV-23 and table IV-27). d) Applying the k-values calculated by Blaney-Criddle formula. only within the limits of the drought year having the pan evaporation of about 450mm during paddy field period as the design year (Ref. to table IV-32 or Fig. IV-22).
